    It’s a nice little spot. Clean rooms, nice hotel staff, close to downtown. Was only there for a night, but it was good. Not sure if I’ll ever need to stay for a few days, but I may come back to this one if I do.

    Absolutely nothing! When registration is behind closed class with pass through drawer, there is a reason. The facility is old and not taken care of, or what repairs have been done, were done without any skill or knowledge. The bathroom door would not/could not close! Just a dump.

    The whole place smelled like weed, and there were a lot of sketchy people around. We didn’t feel safe. The room seemed clean, but not in the best shape. The refrigerator/freezer was dirty. Some damaged spots on the walls. The bathtub was not in good shape. There was no hair dryer. It was one of the worst places I have ever stayed, if not the worst.

    Check in area was so loud because the lobby was closed. It was difficult to hear over the ice and soda machines. The room smelled like cigarettes and marijuana and the fridge was so loud we had to unplug it. There was a big gap under the door. That said, the staff was friendly. The room looked like it had some updates recently. And the bed was really comfortable.

    Close to the airport and close to main roads. I was in town for an event and didnt stay in the room much. No bells and whistles but the price was cheap. Staff was nice. Had a key card issue and they fixed it immediately.

    Nothing I showed up to my "confirmed" booking at midnight like the staff and i had discussed over the phone only to find out the staff lied and canceled my online booking so that they could give the room to someone who showed up in person. Then lied about the name on my card being different from that on the booking. Staff was also rude as fuck and screwed me out of a room. My wife and I had to drive an extra 40 minutes to find a place to stay at 1am because of these scammers. Do not risk staying here.

    Very close to everything. Waffle House right beside the hotel made for good late dinner after a concert. Outside smelled like an herb if you get what I’m saying. It didn’t bother us too much, but I could see others being bothered by it.

    Waffle House next door. Room not particularly clean. Tub very slippery. I fell while showering, laid there 30-45 min, unable to get up. Grab bar was at other end of tub & unreachable. Could have been a dangerous situation but i only received bruises.

    Shower was broken, mattress fitted sheet had smudge marks like if someone’s make up, no winter blanket just a sheet…faucets reversed and sink beat up. The floor is way up too and the fridge had to be turned off cause it was noisy. Was frustrating

    I didn't like the fact that staff didn't wanna allow me to check into my room early without paying a additional 50.00 on top of the 50.00 deposit i has to pay for having a non smoking room. I called on check out day, to ask for a late checkout and was only given until 1130? When is usually 12! Room service staff where good. The room smell very good. You could tell that mattered to whom ever cleaned it. The bath tub didn't have a stopper to hold the water inside, so i had to go buy one. It was just a hole there ... but overall i believe this stay was a great value.

    1) The property is in horrible condition. The current management likely inherited it in that condition, so should not be held responsible. 2) The neighborhood is very dubious. There were strange-looking characters loitering about the premises. At 3 am, I was awakened by a loud conversation outside my room. I did not venture to investigate. 3) Likely due to the bad neighborhood, there is much security. After hours, one can connect with the staff only through a secure window in the back. This is also true of the other EconoLodge in the area. Again, this is a feature of the area, not the property or the management. Positives: 1) The staff is helpful and polite. 2) Before making this reservation, I had to cancel a reservation at a different hotel because that staff was rude, and would not give me a confirmation number related to my booking, despite four requests on four calls. On the last call, he indicated my booking would be cancelled as a No Show, since my travel plans required me to check in late. He could have told me this on an earlier call, so that I could have made arrangements. By contrast, at this EconoLodge, the staff responded with the assurance that my room would be held, and in fact, offered to check me in right away. That was very reassuring.

    You are treated to a check-in that doesn't take place in a hotel lobby, but in a dingy harshly lit room with cobwebs and bulletproof glass and spackle and God knows what else on the walls and floor. You are treated to a poster that almost takes up the whole wall outlining their rules such as: your room is only serviced twice a week, your towels are only replaced during that time and you cannot exchange towels any other time. Fees for this and that and what forms of payment and Id they won't accept etc. The rooms are accessed by a keycard like many other hotels. If you lose your keycard here, it is a $20 charge. While I have never been booked into a jail, this is EXACTLY what I imagine it is like. I have a lot more to add about this review but hotels.com puts a limit on how many characters you can use here. Filthy, toilets don't work, sketchy clientele, broken worn out run down hotel.

    We were planning place in a room where the sink was leaking and water was all over the floor I call and maintenance came right away but still couldn't fix it we have to ask to get another room always stay here but this time didn't enjoyed our stay we paid a lot of money for these days as me and my son are homeless. It would be nice if the owner would have reached out and maybe give us a refund or extended our stay a couple days with no pay

    My wife went in to feed our baby when we arrived and before I could make it to my door a crack head have me a sob story how he got robbed and he wanted food from the waffle House next door.... Once I got done into the room I was shown the stains on the bedsheets.... Needles to say I went back and told the lady at the front desk and did not receive a refund but still left.... The staff was nice but I wouldn't stay there

    This is a cheaper motel, and you get what you pay for. There's a couple of cosmetic issues in my room. A hole in the bathroom. Some malfunctioning plug ins. However, the staff is very accommodating at all times. Our microwave was broken and we didn't know until 9pm. They still had a handyman on site to come help us and he was very nice. My only complaint would be they need actual blankets.

    The morning manager was nice enough to hold our baggage’s till we checked in. Rooms floor was not clean. Was taking dirt with steps. Very limited amenities such as towels. Any requests would be back with the answer ’No’ or let me check and get back to you. But never gets back. Other than manager everyone else needs some very basic training. Felt like they were forced to work

    Very disgusted, ash on the toilet seat, cigarette butts under items, semen stained sheets, a stab in the side of the bed through the sheets. On top of that I notified the staff a few minutes into me actually staying that I had to step out to visit family and asked if they could at least change the sheets/catch what they didn’t clean up.     Desk for no reason. Despite my plea to even pay an extra money, the hotel rejected me as they told me to contact Expedia for my refund and clarification. It was a terrible experience as I got to the hotel 12am and had no place to sleep as a stranger. The explicit and implicit cost of this experience can’t be quantified.     Front desk door was locked with signs asking to go to a side door. Front desk guy was friendly enough hidden behind bullet proof glass and a speaker/microphone system. Got checked in with ease and went to our room. As soon as we opened the door we were hit with a very strong chemical smell that I can only assume is what a crack house smells like. Bed was not very comfortable and looks like tub had been painted several times to cover something up. Ceiling looked like it had multiple water damage issues. At check in we were told to come down 10 minutes before we wanted to leave and the shuttle would take us to the airport. I told the front desk person we needed to leave at 4am. He said no problem. We went to where we were supposed to meet 10 minutes prior and there was no front desk person and a sign saying front desk staffed from 6am-2am. If you need assistance after 2am please go to the hotel down the street which was a 5 minute walk. After calling the phone number for the EconoLodge front desk and no answer, we walked to the hotel down the street and were told shuttle doesn’t start until 6am. All the cab companies were the same phone number and went to VM. Had to set up an Uber account to get a ride to the airport.

    This motel is directly beside a Waffle House. Many people hanging around in the parking lot after dark. Upon entering the room we saw a cockroach crawl under the bed. Upulstered chair beside the bed was completely covered in stains on all sides. I saw so many reviews with just a "poor" review so tried it anyway...what a mistake! Do not stay at this motel. It was horrible!

    I canceled the trip on the Hotels.com app, and this hotel will not release my money to me. They put a hold of my card even though I did not check in. I clearly canceled at 11:17 an ( I have a screenshot) on the Hotels.com APP!!! The manager that I spoke to was very rude and condescending and dismissive of my very complaint. They are con artist and thief’s. They deserve zero customers. Shady business. Despicable. As far as I am concerned, should be arrested for theft

    My hotel stay was ok, hotel furniture is very outdated, they have a 50.00 deposit fee to be returned when you check out , I was charged through my credit card and didn’t receive my deposit back yet, left the room clean it was only me in there and I don’t smoke so I definitely couldn’t be charged for that. They had a few restaurants near by so that was a plus and I didn’t feel unsafe as a woman solo traveler and my room was clean, no complaints for house keeping .

    The noise level between rooms was low, but there were lots of people outside until late saturday night, and I could hear every word. The fridge was super loud. There were liquor bottles and broken glass around the property. The AC didnt work all that well and it leaked all over the floor. It was good enough but no way I'd pay more than 50-60 a night. I wont likely stay here on my next visit to Charlotte.

    Location is very good. 10 minutes or so from airport. If you're short, then you wont mind the toilet being really low. I'm 5ft 5, and toilet was really low for me. When you check in, the woman is behind a glass partition. You're in a separate room and the window a/c is blaring, so you cant hear what she's saying. Bed was comfortable and plenty of parking. Waffle House 1 minute away. At least room was clean, no bugs.

    The floors had not been washed for a very long time. Feet were black from walking on floors. I spilt some water and cleaned it up with some tissues which were very black with dirt. No access to second floor other than stairs. This was supposedly a very good room according to check in staff. Close to airport and a very reasonably priced Chinese buffet restaurant across the road.

    A standard airport motel, the staff were nice and helpful, the air con was the loudest we'd come across, so much so it disturbed our sleep. The area is as expected being where it is but it didn't feel scary, we got the bus into town which was super easy. We got the shuttle to the airport in the morning with a very nice man 🙏

    With only one person working on the station we waited for a long time to finally check in, and it also took me a while to just check out. The staff is not very friendly. The AC did not function well at night. It stopped and never came back again. We were woken up because it was hot. It was cooler outside than inside, even when it was already 10 am. The neighborhood does not seem safe.
