    I checked into Courtyard by Marriott Charlotte Airport LoSo on July 31, 2025, for a stay originally planned through August 3, 2025. Upon arrival, I was assigned a ground floor room that had a strong musty, damp odor. I immediately informed Paulina at the front desk and requested to be moved to a higher floor. I was told that only ground floor rooms were available for single occupancy. Despite this, I attempted to stay, but the room was visibly unclean — there were stains, dust, and the window lacked a screen or security lock. I returned to the desk again to raise these issues, and only then did another staff member Samantha assist Paulina and find a room on a higher floor, which was also a single occupancy room. Unfortunately, room 303 also had serious security and privacy issues. There was no peephole cover, and I noticed a maintenance worker lingering outside, looking into my room. After briefly leaving the room, I returned to find an unidentified liquid on the door — which had not been there earlier. Due to these unsanitary and unsafe conditions, I did not stay in the room and checked out on July 31st. I have reached out to the hotel requesting a partial or full refund, and as of August 18, 2025, I have received no response. Photos have been provided to support my concerns. This experience was unacceptable, and the lack of communication from management only makes it worse. I would caution others to consider this before booking especially solo woman travelers. Listened and responded honestly from the start maintained basic cleanliness and security standards. Communicated professionally and responded to my refund request.

    I booked my stay through a third-party site, which clearly stated that check-out was at 12 PM. However, I received a call from the front desk this morning insisting that I needed to check out immediately, stating that check-out was at 11 AM. When I calmly explained that my booking confirmation listed 12 PM, the receptionist responded in a stern and unprofessional tone, cutting me off and saying, “No, check-out is 11.” I understand that policies may vary, but if you’re going to partner with third-party booking platforms, it’s important to ensure the information they provide to guests is accurate and consistent with your own. The abrupt and dismissive way the situation was handled left a poor impression.

    I was very upset with how this hotel handled the so-called free breakfast. We booked a room for three people, and the booking clearly stated that breakfast was included. However, when we went to the breakfast area, the person in charge told us that we had to pay for it. I explained that breakfast was already included in our booking, but he insisted that we needed to pay and then called the front desk staff. I spoke with the front desk to understand why this was happening, and they told me that their system only showed breakfast included for one person, not for three. This was very disappointing and confusing because we specifically booked for three guests with breakfast included. I feel that this is misleading and unfair to guests. The hotel really needs to improve or change their system so that it accurately reflects the booking details and avoids putting guests in such uncomfortable situations.

    As I was preparing to end the long day, I pulled the sheets back and noticed some debris. I thought it was from my book, not paying attention. To my dismay, I pulled back the sheets, seeing that debris, including hair, was throughout the sheets. From my disgust, I immediately jumped up and called downstairs to inform the front desk. The lady from housekeeping asked as she looked at the sheets and said, "You spent the night here already." I informed her, no, this was our first night. Her eyes stretched and she said nooooooo, oh no. She pulled the sheets back and continued to inform me that she was sorry I had this going on. She had the other lady go downstairs for clean sheets and duvet. She took video footage of the uncleanliness. Meanwhile, I'm sitting there with bed clothes on, ready to sleep, feeling inconvenienced as my husband was in the shower as this was going on, and he came out as they were making the changes. The next morning, the shower was cold. I let it run for a while in an attempt to warm up, but it never did. It worked the night before somehow. As I checked out downstairs, I informed the lady that a note was supposed to be left about that night. She didn't see a note from the previous person. I informed her of my trip out of the country for the week and will talk to the manager and ask for his name. I called two days ago and have not heard back after leaving my information. I do not plan to stay at this location again.

    STAYED AT THIS HOTEL AFTER A SAVANNAH BANANA GAME AT THE BANK OF AMERICA STADIUM……. The only reason I booked this specific hotel was to use the pool for our 9 year old boys to swim and it was closed without any indication from staff or the website upon booking and checking in. Woke up the next day to leave ONLY TO FIND OUT OUR TRUCK ALONG WITH 7 OTHERS HAD OUR WINDOWS BUSTED OUT AND RUMMAGED THROUGH…even though the parking lot was “gated” and only supposed to be accessible with a hotel key card. Very disappointed and WILL NEVER EVER BE BACK. The staff did not care or even offer a broom so we could clean the glass out of our vehicles so our son could sit and we could attempt the 3 hour drive home IN THE POURING RAIN. Will be contacting the manager first thing tommorow as “he was off” police report was filed WORST TRIP TO A HOTEL I have ever had. BEWARE

    It was a good stay. We were in Charlotte for a concert for one night. We didn’t check beforehand but were surprised there was no continental breakfast. We went to The Flying Bisquit for brunch which I highly recommend! The hotel was clean and we had everything we needed. I thought the shower floor was a little too slippery for seniors with achy joints (me) but other than that, everything was fine.

    The property, staff, and rooms are great. However, the overall server or power grid needs attention. Internet is poor, the room to room phones don’t work, also TVs and heat operation were inconsistent. We traveled as a group and everyone had signal or TV issues in their rooms. It’s unfortunate for such a lovely property.

    Very very surprised to see such a great hotel in the best part of Billy Graham! Staff was super helpful & rooms and lobby are the cleanest, quietest ive seen in a while in this area. Love the gated parking. On site bar & restaurant is super convenient. Not sure why our tvs all kept timing out every 30 minutes... & the wifi signals were bad. But that was nothing compared to how great the stay was. Very modern huge comfortable furniture in the rooms. Definitely listed as a favorite for when i return to this area.

    We were on the ground floor and it was incredibly damp and musty. Our belongings were damp the next morning. There was a line for check in and the staff was friendly but everything moved incredibly slow. I, unfortunately, would not ever recommend anyone stay here.

    My rm#401 elevator was broken you had to walk down to 231 to take elevator up to 4th fl which let you off at rm431 to walk back to #401 so I took the stairs up and down my entire time there to not have to walk so much ask for another room without any luck !!! Never again to many other places to stay

    This hotel overall seems like a nice hotel. However, there are a few things I wasn’t pleased with. The main elevator is not working. This was not a big issue for me but it could be for others. You have to walk down the hall to use the elevator. I was on the ground floor which isn’t the main floor. The ground floor had a mildew smell to it. I was on the floor where the pool was but that is not an excuse for the smell and it was very humid. I had to keep my air down because my room was very humid and I sprayed so much air freshener because of the mildew smell. The room was clean, however, I would not be surprised if there is mold growing somewhere. The ice machine did not work on my floor. Also the tv, microwave, and refrigerator did not work. Other than these things it would have been a nice stay. If you book please do not stay on the ground floor. Staff were very nice.

    It was clean and had all I needed. I requested my room not be made up each day but they kept coming in and cleaning it. The room was next to stairs and the elevator was broken so I heard doors slamming throughout the night. It seemed to be in a busy location. Breakfast lady extremely slow. Nice place to stay but a bit noisy.

    Elevator closest to the lobby was out of order requiring my wife to walk on her walker to the far end of the hall to go down to the floor our room was on. We specifically booked a handicap accessible room on floor 1 for this reason. Unfortunately the lobby is on floor 2.

    They did not have the room I reserved available ( king suite). Said we could have 2 breakfast passes and a room with a king bed and a pull out couch. Finally got them to come down on the price since I wasn’t getting the room I reserved and paid for. We were on the 6 th fooor. Only one elevator worked. There was absolutely no hot water. I let the water run forever and it never warmed up. For the price of the rooms I was very dissatisfied.

    Had to wait 45 minutes at the airport for a shuttle. When I called to check the status of the shuttle, staff was rude, told me I have to be patient and they hung up. In no way was i rude or demanding so I was shocked by this response. No TV, they knew this before I booked and should have told me, it would have been nice to book elsewhere that had a working TV. Told the storm knocked out all the TVs, but the Marroitt channel worked just fine. The shower did not have a ledge, looked like handicap accessible which is great, but taking a shower basically floods the bathroom floor.
