    In addition, when I asked for plasticware at the front desk, the staff member dismissively placed them on the desk without any courtesy or acknowledgment. In conclusion, the staff came across as rude and indifferent throughout our stay. They did not seem to care about their customers or take their concerns seriously. Good hospitality is not only about providing a room but also about treating guests with respect and addressing problems promptly. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here.

    Rooms need to be remodeled. Carpet and wall was stained really bad, the tv looked smeared with paint. The way the parking lot is set up is terrible. The parking spots are so small and there is an Enterprise Rental right beside it where cars are lined up down the side of the street where the hotel is. I won’t be staying at another Comfort Inn. It wasn’t worth the price. For a few extra dollars I can stay at the Marriott or Hampton Inn where the rooms are way better.

    Parking was easy. Staff was friendly and helpful. First room we were put in the carpet was very dirty and had a funky smell. Air did not work and we had to switch rooms. Air was slightly better in the 2nd room but the cleanliness was still sub par. Also appeared to be a pool party going on at 1030 pm when we arrived back at the hotel. I am fairly certain that these were not even guest of the hotel as all the vehicles parked out back at the pool were gone in this morning. Would not stay here again mainly bc of the overall cleanliness of not only our room but the hotel as a whole.

    The host was rude during check-in. She was on her phone and stayed on her phone throughout the check-in in process. We seemed to be a bother to her. Room was ok, pillows were horrible. We were on the 6th floor and at 2am they started drilling and moving furniture in the room above us.

    The clerk was nice My card was declined for the deposit but the money was taking out of my account each time (I paid for three rooms total) the lady that worked night shift went above and beyond to accommodate

    Room was clean but the fridge really smelled bad. Luckily we brought a cooler. Breakfast was good especially the coffee. Slept well and out the door. We enjoyed Charlotte and all it’s characters 💚

    Didn't like anything.. Beds had dirty linen and hair on the fitted sheetspa tub had hairs in it .. had to go get the linen front down stairs and had tochange the linen and they gave me a spray bottle cleaner to clean theapa tub..

    My toilet didn’t work and you almost had to have pliers for the shower. There was rust on the toilet paper holder and the mattress had springs that were a bit aggressive on your back. The maintenance team doesn’t work at night.

    As mentioned by others, overall the place is ok for overnight stay. The parking did not feel safe- broken car glass is everywhere. Some people staying did not look reliable.

    It’s the little things, one elevator broken, the one that did work had missing buttons. There was a dead roach in the hallway outside our room for 2 days. The pool was clean- but not open. The stairwell was sticky. The ice machine on our floor was broken so we had to hike up 2 floors for some. And the toilet in our room was wobbly. The bed was comfortable. Sunday morning there was a very loud group singing and preaching- in a conference room with the doors closed but loud enough to hear all through the lobby. I won’t be back.

    Check-in was easy, room was clean. Lobby had a weird smell. One elevator was broken causing delays; often times you have to wait for it to go all the way up or down to use. Breakfast was dry. The eggs and sausage sat too long. They could make smaller batches and replenish more often.

    I had reservations for 2 room for 1 night. The room my daughter and I stayed in had bedbugs (which turns out I'm allergic to) and when I tried to call and complain they keep transferring me to different people and the last person I spoke with told me to email. I sent an email and never received a response.

    Good Stay. We stayed two nights over the weekend. It's not a modern-looking hotel, but it did the job of giving us a comfortable place to stay. We didn't have any issues. Our room was clean. We didn't wake up in time for breakfast, so we can't comment on that. Plenty of restaurants and grocery store is near by.

    Upon arrival, the room initially seemed fine, but a few issues quickly stood out. The refrigerator had clearly not been cleaned out prior to my check-in, and there was leftover pizza inside that had a noticeable smell. That was definitely off-putting and made the room feel less well-maintained than expected. Another disappointment was the pool, which is listed as one of the amenities. Unfortunately, it was out of order during my stay. I understand that maintenance issues can happen, but it would have been helpful to know in advance since that was something I was looking forward to using. Additionally, the bathroom could have been cleaner. While it wasn’t unusable, it didn’t meet the standard I would expect for a comfortable hotel stay. That said, the stay wasn’t all bad. The bed was comfortable, and the overall experience was okay. The staff didn’t cause any issues, and the hotel itself was relatively quiet. In the end, it wasn’t a terrible stay, but it also wasn’t the best. With better attention to cleanliness and communication about amenities, it could be a much better experience.

    Horrible experience, was double charged upon checkin, it took almost 10 days for the money to be returned to my account. Toilet backed up every single time it was flushed and they brought us a plunger and left - it stayed in the room all 3 nights we were there. Why couldnt you just move us to a different room???? The was clean and breakfast was good, but we will never stay here again overall just a miserable stay.

    The hotel is old and poorly maintained. It is in need of an update and a deep clean. First, only one elevator was functioning and the remaining elevator took a very long time to arrive. I used the stairs for most of my stay as did other guest. The carpet in my room was stained and the leather covering on the desk chair was badly damaged and torn. There was hair on the floor of the restroom. The furniture was scratched and damaged. The bed was hard and made noise when you sat on it, as if the box spring was cheap or worn. The breakfast was horrible. When I went down, most of the customers were begging for the food to be refilled. The options were limited, there was gravy, biscuits, scrambled eggs, and sausage. One of the waffle makers was broken, so there was a long line at the one functioning waffle machine. I was able to get a spoon full of eggs and two sausages. There were remnants of back on in the same pan as the sausage, which means at some point there was bacon, but I didn't get any. The drink options were also horrible, it was basically flavored water or apple juice. This was the worst hotel stay that I have had in a very long time. The only bright spot was that the employees were nice.

    Location was close to uncc. Beds were too hard. Wall a/c didn't work efficiently. Took all night to cool the room even though the high outsislde was 75. Shower was designed for a private home built in the 90s. Breakfast was mediocre. Ran out of bacon. The hotel staff found my driver's license, which I used to check in with, and didn't bother to contact me. A couple of days later when I realized it gone, I called and asked if they would mail it to me. They would not.

    Once I got in the room, I noticed a broken curtain rod had been laid on the desk, so THEY knew it was broken, but didn’t bother to fix it. The bathroom? There was a hairball under the sink, and the toilet paper holder was broken and disgustingly rusted. Sat on the couch in the room and it was like sitting on cardboard boxes. Woke up around 6:30am to use the bathroom and the toilet wouldn’t flush. Called down to the front desk and was told that I had to come to the lobby to get the plunger and fix it myself. Seriously? So here I go, waiting for the slow elevator at 6:30 am to fix a problem that their staff should be taking care of. Once I fixed it, had to wait another eternity to take it back down. No issues the rest of the stay..it’s just a very outdated hotel that does serve its purpose.

    I was there three days and I asked for the floor to be vacuumed and for my bed to be made with the linen changed. When I came back to the room nothing was done and there was linen on top of the bed. I went and asked the housekeeper what happened and she stay there that that's all she can do when I spoke to her manager the manager of his nasty and offsetting stating that they don't have to make beds and continue to disrespect me over the phone when I went to the front desk the front desk said that she was a different department but had the right to handle things however she chose to handle them there was no accountability at all. According to the front desk afterwards got the housekeeping manager called the GM and expected us to be put out of the hotel all because I complained about getting my bed made. No attitude, no back and forth, just a question. The front desks let me know this happens all the time and there was nothing we could do about it which I thought was crazy. It seemed like the front desk staff were all scared of the housekeeping manager and didn't want to tell her to her face that she was wrong although telling me that she was. It was probably the worst experience that I've ever had. I needed to book two more days and when I want to go book the two days I was told I was unable to book the two days because the housekeeping manager didn't want us there. That added insult to injury. I would not stay there if you expect normal housekeeping and for your bed linen to.

    Upon checking in the room we were given was literally disgusting and made me sick to my stomach. Walking into the room we smelled something really bad. After we turned on the lights there was a large soiled area on the carpet near the bed, not sure if it was vomit or feces.

We were told refunds have to be approved by the “owner,” but none of the staff even seem to know who he is personally. I’ve called every day since, and as of 10/14/25, no one has contacted me or refunded us for the nights we didn’t stay. This place is filthy, poorly managed, and completely unprofessional. Do yourself a favor don’t waste your money here. There are plenty of other hotels that actually value cleanliness and customer service.

    we had issues immediately upon arrival. keypad for credit card machine, not transmitting. Moved rooms 3x in 2 hours. Had to present a ticket to have breakfast. No clean towels or trash removal until day 3. then keycard cancelled and had to get a new one. took 3 days to be able to pay for room as their system was down. Because I didnt get a a checkout form I have no idea if I paid for the king room I requested or the double queen I ended up with.

    I booked a room with 2 queen beds for my son & I. Paid for it & when we got to the hotel at check in I was told that all they had was one(1) room with a king bed. When I went back on the sight it says they still have rooms with 2 queen beds. The front desk kept on telling me that’s all they had. Very upset & couldn’t even get money back

    Overall, we were happy with the hotel. Friendly staff, clean room, nice breakfast options, and the location was convenient for what we had planned. The only issue was the hotel appears to be older than presented in the pictures and could use renovations. Our room was clean, but it had definitely seen better days.

    When we got to the hotel we noticed a lot of homeless and drug addicts hanging out in front of the facility, the parking lot was gross and the fencing around it was falling down and not well kept. The first room they gave us had a bunch of hair in the bed so we asked for new bedding and we were just going to switch out everything ourselves but they offered us a new room. The room they gave us the a/c wasnt working and we found a bug in the bed. We ended up checking out after that, that same evening. The front desk was kind and understanding when we told them we would like to check out. But then we checked our bank statement we had an extra charge for the room and a 250.00 fee. I called the property 3 times to figure out what was going on and every time someone took my number and no one called me back. Im not usually one to leave reviews especially a bad review but this was not a pleasant experience.

    The staff was very nice, no complaints there. When we checked in - 3 had 3 rooms booked - my husband and I took the one they said was "renovated" yet and let our guests take the updated rooms. Our room when we checked in, on a day that was 100 degrees, had the A/C turned off - so the room was a sauna and took forever to cool off. It had water damage on the ceiling, a torn couch, everything in the bathroom that was metal was rusted, and the shower curtain was torn. The bed was nice, but considering the temp of the room and all the other factors, I worried about bedbugs - thankfully none. The breakfast was sparce and the same thing both days, I expected a little variety maybe alternate sausage and bacon at a minimum. 90% of the furniture in the dining area was old and torn. But the most unsavory part was the toleration for people sitting around the hotel entrance at night drinking and smoking pot etc. I was a little unnerved and scared for our teenagers walking around or coming in after us alone. I was a little scared to have 2 19 yr old women go to the pool unaccompanied. Everyone is entitled to do their own thing, and that is their right, but I would think the staff at the hotel since we did see them walk out there, would not let that go on in plain site right at the entrance.

    The toilet backed up and front desk brought the plunger for us to plung. He didn’t call housekeeping or plunged it himself. He should have since he did bring to the room. I need towels and wash clothes and I had to go downstairs and get them.

Nowhere on the website did it say the pool was closed because it hasn’t been inspected for the season yet…it’s June. The mattress on the pullout couch was horribly worn and thin. It served our purpose but wasn’t anything to brag about

Nowhere on the website did it say the pool was closed because it hasn’t been inspected for the season yet…it’s June. The mattress on the pullout couch was horribly worn and thin. It served our purpose but wasn’t anything to brag about

    Staff were exceptional. Overall comfort was decent, but cleanliness was ok. The last night there, I found adult and baby roaches crawling in the bathroom upon our return to the room. Not the thing I wanted to flip the light on to find!

    The check in staff was nice and helpful. I stayed for 6 days and no one cleaned my room. The cleaning lady was cleaning the room next to mine on Sunday (after being there since Thursday) and she told me I wasnt on her cleaning list. Never had that before where they wouldnt even accommodate me for an exchange of towels, trash, etc. She said she'd call the front desk and get back to me. I waited for over an hour and even left the stopper in my door. She never informed me, so I went down to check and ended up having to get my own towels, which I was given swimming pool towels. Then the staff couldnt find trash bags and said he'd call me... he didn't. I went down late at night and the night staff gave me a big black trash bag, which I used for all my trash. By Monday, there was no reason nor expectation for them to clean my room as I was checking out the next day. If not for all of that, I would have had a very pleasant stay. The area is nice, the view from the top floor was nice, just didn't like staying in an unkempt room as I don't in my own place.

    Very disappointed that the pool was not open for use. That was a major reason that I used this location. If the Pool or other expected things that a guest would want to use is not going to be available for use, then sent out a notification. No explanation was given , other than the gate was locked and when asked, a staff member said it’s closed.

    The check in clerk was very rude. We asked him about places to eat in the area. He said he did not know bc he does not live there. They had no lists of local eateries or anything. I asked daily for fresh towels and finally got some on our last night. Grat location to Charlotte speedway but not sure I woyld stay again.

    Hotel is dated, dirty, and worn. Not located in the nicest area. 2 of 3 ice machines broken. Carpets are filthy. Knee wall in my suite was covered in ants - damaged, loose, and ready to fall over. Breakfast was mediocre. Price was the only redeeming quality.

    The condition of the sofa bed (mattress) was terrible look like a something occurred total replacement would be nice. We felt horrible for my 17yr old having to sleep on it but it was almost midnight at check in we double maybe tripled the sheets and called it a day the pool not to inviting

    The paint in the room was peeling. There was an odor. It rained really bad and water leaked inside the window. The toilet paper holder and the shower curtain were broken. We will not stay here again.

    The hotel itself was okay. However, they had no clean towels or wash cloths. The refrigerator did not work. Luckily someone else we knew let me store my breast milk in theirs to keep it cool. Housekeeping never came during our visit and the ice machine was broken.

    From the moment I checked in so many red flags. The front desk person didn’t even get out of her seat after looking at me at the desk. After trying to check in the system had a different card number and the machine was having trouble, it was a pain to have to check in. She had to put the card number in manually. The whole place smelled of water damage and mold. Front desk attendant said nothing after giving me the key. Not where the elevator is, breakfast, wifi, pool instructions NOTHING. We Got on the elevator and did not see any inspection notifications.(I am a fire inspector) the other elevator had an inspection sheet that had not been inspected in almost two years. The room had rust EVERYWHERE! The shower curtain rod was broken. Toilet paper holder was broken. Ice machine on my floor was rusted out and did not work. The sleeping area of the room was not bad. They locked the front doors of the hotel at night with no option to get in other than stating that you had to use the side doors. That would have been ok if the side doors worked. I took a video of us being locked out of our hotel, absolutely ridiculous! Terrible experience and I would never come back nor recommend this property to anyone!

    I had 2 rooms and I called and asked to be conjoined rooms or at least on same floor and they told me no problem and I get there and they give me 3rd floor and other room on 7th floor and said sorry we full!!! Also the next morning the gentleman behind desk was sleeping and we had to yell to get him up!

    Has changed so much been coming there for years and it has went down hill police constantly out there cause of some situations cats being stolen and broke into the workers have the worst and difficult attitudes waaaayyyy different than the ones they use to hire you can tell it’s new management there that don’t care enough about hospitality I tell everybody that hotel has went down in every area last time was my last time going and then they gonna tell me when checking out I had did sumthin during the summer and was on do not rent list and guy didn’t see it I’ve been coming there for over 6 years NEVER gave ONE issue or caused one it’s total crap and far as room damages I always pay my deposit and get it back ain’t NEVER EVER smoked in the building the guy wearing a Christmas sweater on Jan was the rudest meanest person ever been there he totally made up sumthin and I been coming there maybe longer than 6yrs everybody knows I’m quiet buy all they high store items all night and constantly come outside and smoke during the night don’t even talk much I wudda took it further but tbh if he’s allowed to be that way and tell lies and just make up straight garbage I don’t wanna be there anyways there’s not one old employee that don’t know me and will say I ever did ANYTHING he he’s sly for whatever reason I wouldn’t recommend you go there if it’s the last place wi tv room s it’s extremely high the rooms aren’t even clean anymore and stank and most of all that garbage he said

    Only stayed one night but nice roomy space. Room was quiet and comfortable. Check in/out was easy. Breakfast was good. Fairly close to the venue where we were attending a concert (NODA area). Would stay again should we come back for another concert.

    A lot of activity in the parking lot…people coming and going. Some looked homeless and some shady. Gym elliptical needs to be fixed or replaced. Made a lot of noise when I tried to use it. Breakfast had waffle makers but no batter was put out to make any. Lastly only one of the elevators were operational and I was on the 7th floor.

    Clean, nice space, good breakfast, convenient location. The shower head/sprayer is broken in the accessible room. Also, water gets out of the shower area, needs another drain and/or more towels offered. Needs places to hang towels to dry if we are to reuse them. Also needs a shelf in the shower for products.

    The front desk was very accommodating to my issue with hotels.com. Because I was five mins past midnight I couldn’t book a room using my one cash. So I called the front desk and the gentleman told me he would fix it if I placed the reservation. When I arrived he did fix it unfortunately he couldn’t give me the room I had reserved. It didn’t really matter there was an extra bed but I did miss having the balcony I had originally seen listed. The room was fine except one of the beds looked like someone laid down in it but it was not reset. There was little burrs on the other bed. The kind that’s like little spiked balls. Anyway I cleaned those up. It was a simple night and stay. Breakfast was great. And they were kind enough to give me a late check out. All in all not bad. And decent for the price
