    The night staff did go above and beyond when they picked up another hotel guest at a restaurant when she needed a ride back to the hotel when she couldn’t get an Uber.

    My two rooms smelt like mold, the sink was broken in both rooms. The water stayed in sink for the entire time. Did not get our room cleaned the entire time. Will not stay Eve again.

    I have to change 3 rooms in one night , bathroom is not good ..the room which they gave us was occupied by someone else .restroom clogged , floors were not mopped sticky floors , old trash was taken .

    This hotel has the laziest staff I've ever encountered. Sheets and towels dirty upon arrival. Ask the staff for directions doesn't seem to know what or where anything is. The breakfast area unkept and unsanitary. There was hardly any parking after 10pm. Staff blatantly lied about unavailable rooms when asked about a later checkout. I will not be staying at this establishment again.

The clerk said ‘she didn’t make a mistake.’ Except, when I next saw the girl the first thing she said to ‘I’m so sorry. I messed up.’ So, yes. I didn’t make a mistake.

    AWFUL!!! THE LOCATION WAS HARD TO FIND ON GPS THE SIGN WAS BURNED OUT -IN THE DARK. FIRE TRUCK WAS LEAVING AND THE FIRE HAD DISABLED THE ELEVATOR. 100% DISABLED VETERAN W LUGGAGE ARRIVING & no 1st floor rooms. We could not stay. THEY could not refund our money because we used booking.com. We are upset to say the least. WE HAD TO DRIVE HOME TIRED IN THE RAIN W DEER on The sides of the road making it more dangerous. We had to leave our travel companions there because they got the last 1st floor room. They said no sleep because back door slammed all night from smokers going in and out. WE GOT THERE AT 10PM ARRIVING FROM Sedona Arizona. GOT HOME to North Myrtle beach at 2:30am. QUITE 1st floor rooms.

There was trash and the trash can and there was a yogurt in the fridge. There was a used soap in the shower and the side of the toilet was with old urine. This tells me that they just picked up the bed and kept moving.They did not clean the room. This was my first time staying here and definitely my last.

    The rooms are old. The smoke detector was covered, which was odd. I informed the front desk but she responded as if she knew already. The staff was nice. There was a funny smell in the hallway but they seemed to spray a scent on the day we checked out because it didn’t smell as bad. Property is hard to find in the night, we almost missed it,

    Before I start this review I would like to give a very special shout out to Eddie the staff member at this location. If it wasn't for him my score would have been lower. He was very kind, helpful, and hard working. He went over and beyond to assist me. He was very informative. He needs to be the executive manager here and I'm sure the place would do better. Thank you Eddie. The 6th floor has a smell of mildew. They have humidifiers in the hallway that's how bad it is. The bathroom tub is clogged. It would fill with water while I showered which is nasty. They ran out of towels the second day so I had to dry off with wash clothes. The breakfast area was clean and neat. The waffles were good but the eggs were not eatable due to them being watery. I wasn't mad at the selection of breakfast options they had. I asked for batteries for my breathing machine and the first gentleman was trying to give me a hard time. He asked me what they were for in front of the other guest at the desk. How embarrassing but Eddie came to the rescue and told the gentleman to give them to me. Why they were for was not their business. Eddie also brought up the extra hand towels and wash clothes with no problem. The elevator broke down so I had to walk up six flights of stairs in heels lol. I was not too happy but Eddie allowed me to check out late until the elevator worked again so I didn't have to carry all my baggage down six flights. Thank you Eddie. You are the best.

    This is a good value hotel. It's not a resort, you're just getting a reasonably priced room if you stay here. During my stay (4/2026), it seemed like the place was old, but gets better than average maintenance. Everything in my room worked and I could take a long, hot shower each morning. There was a strong smell from some kind of cleaning product or deodorizer in the hallway, but it didn't bother me in my room.

    Within 15 minutes of checking into my room, I found a roach in the bathroom. The staff responded quickly by moving me to a different room on another floor. There were large, full trash bags left near the elevators on multiple floors. In addition, both elevators were out of service, which forced guests to carry their luggage up and down the stairs.

    some of the staff were pleasant and welcoming good breakfast Rude staff a non functional bathroom fan 1 working elevator so a minimum of 10 minute wait may or may not have luggage carts as staff was to lazy to get one when asked a parking lot that is in fenced hotel area signed NO parking tow away zone...no reference that for hotel guests so parking was an issue when hotel is maxed out the area is rough

    Didn’t like the location. The room we had the toilet kept overflowing, the room didn’t have a remote even after getting a replacement one it didn’t work for the tv. My 4 yr old pointed out a roach on door. One working elevator. The worst was after heading out for the day I left a dnd sign on the door and some how another guest was assigned to our room and entered. When I returned I was able to use me keys the housekeeper just so happen to be next door and open the door after entering I find a envelope on the floor stating sorry for the mistake and a $10 voucher to the shop they had in the lobby. Bottom line I will never booking here again to save a few extra bucks.

    The hotel was ok but not what i expected. For the price it should be better maintained. Each bed got 4 small pillows that were not comfortable. I dont think it is in the best location and honestly I eally felt unsafe. I think most of their business comes from the airport for layover customers. I would not stay here again.

    I was very disappointed with the condition of the hotel. The entire third floor smelled strongly of marijuana, and the smoke was so heavy that you could feel it immediately on contact. It even came inside our room. I was traveling with my 15-year-old, and she noticed it as well and commented on how strong it was. This made the situation very uncomfortable. In addition, the towels were not clean or bright white as expected, the chairs had visible stains, the microwave was missing the round glass tray, and the tables were not cleaned. Overall, it was not a good experience.

    Nothing!! My room was filthy, floors were nasty, microwave was dirty, toilet and bathroom was disgusting, the room smelled just like cigarettes not a cleaning product was used in the room. Most importantly there were roaches crawling on the night stand. I had brought my own cleaning products to have a decent stay. I had asked the night time worker could I get a extra blanket because the blanket they had on the bed was very thin more like sheets instead of a blanket and he was very rude and unprofessional told me no that was all they had.

The fake flowers as you walk in give it a cheap look, one of the two elevators were working for all six floors. The carpets felt like they were coming up with evey step and the bed sheets were wrinkled. The room has a musty smell as well as the hallway. Bathroom shower kept clogging up. Breakfast was ok, coffee machine was broken and the juices in the machine were watered down, not sure why.

    When we arrived the lady at the front desk tried to tell me they had no rooms available because Duke Energy was coming in for the current storm . I then proceeded to tell her I made my booking almost a month ago and that was unacceptable so she then told me she could “find” me and my friends a room after our 4 hr drive... After finally getting a room we should have had ready upon arrival after making it upstairs there were plenty empty rooms as we could see because housekeeping was currently cleaning the rooms at the time. Not sure why the lady would lie ? But to sum it up I was not pleased with that situation at all !

    Staff at Check in was good, Security a little extra but I understand why Broken plugs in the room Toilet either slow or stopped at various times - I had to keep clearing myself -hvac here Front door card just stopped working at 8am Security kept lurking around me smoking my cigar while ignoring the guy smoking weed sitting in the first parking spot with his sunroof open Oh yeah and only one elevator was working so the guy that pooped on himself because he was drunk was on the elevator right before us, we encountered him in the lobby ( he wasn’t the problem)

    Rooms are horrible. We didnt have a blackout/privacy shade/curtain, and our room had a parking lot light roght outside the window. The toilet is SO LOW, and takes 3 flushes to empty the bowl. The beds are not comfortable and there wasnt a blanket. You get a fitted sheet, and 2 flat sheets. Worst hotel experience.

    There were lots of very weird and off-putting smells. Toilets would not flush in our first room so we were moved to another room and its toilet did not flush either. One of the elevators does not work and outside of the elevators are plumbing pipes sticking out of the wall as if for a toilet but there was no toilet and the pipes are not capped. It seemed to be the same on all of the floors. Overall, not a great experience.

    You can tell that the property is a bit aged. I noticed that the lamps seemed old, as some of the material was peeling off for example. The cover on the bed was super thin as well. The area is in a nice and calm area. The property was clean as well. Overall, it was an okay property to stay at if you aren't planning to stay in the area long and just want a place to lay your head that is still safe and clean.

The second room (515) didn’t smell like smoke, but the blow dryer had hair on it, the phone and iron were sticky, the microwave was filthy, the walls were dirty, and there was a hole behind the toilet stuffed with paper. Completely unacceptable. • Smell: Each hallway has heavy air freshener to mask the mold, cigarette, and weed smell. • Breakfast: Disgusting. The only thing fresh was the fruit. We even saw homeless people coming in just to eat breakfast. • Safety & Location: The hotel is in a very sketchy area—definitely not near Uptown as advertised. We witnessed obvious drug activity and even prostitution happening right in front of the building. The fact that this place is listed as a 4–5 star hotel on Expedia is beyond misleading. The pictures online do not reflect reality. This property is extremely run down, unsafe, and poorly maintained. The only “positive” was that our second room didn’t reek of smoke. That’s it. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Save yourself the headache, money, and disappointment.

I’m still waiting 6 days later for the $100 deposit “hold” to be processed and placed back onto my card. That’s also something that you’re not informed of until after you book your stay and pay your money.     We called 5 times from the airport, no one picked up the phone and the free shuttle service never came. We eventually had to take a Lyft and were not reimbursed. When we arrived, after checking in we were told the elevator was not working so we had to carry our luggage to the THIRD FLOOR! The airport shuttle took over 45 minutes to pick me up after I called twice. There was a metal bedroom that extended four inches past the bed that I hit with my ankle twice. The positive: no bed bugs.

    The front desk staff was nice, but they seemed a bit overwhelmed. My room was dirty and I tried calling the front desk a few times and couldn’t reach them. Someone else’s hair was on the comforter, the floor everywhere), a bunch of junk on the floor in front of my door, the floors in the rooms needed to be swept, the desk in the room had something on the top of it. The water pressure was horrible for my room and even the room down the hall. My sheets had stains on them, therefore I didn’t sleep in them. I had a horrible day with my travel and all the multiple cancellations we had to deal with, and walking into this made things even worse. My advice to you, spend the extra 20-30 bucks and stay somewhere else.

    Our closet door was falling off, the toilet paper holder was broken and couldn't even hold toilet paper. There was scratches all over walls, and furniture. The beds were comfortable, and smelled clean. The breakfast area had a nice breakfast, however the vinyl benches were ripping, and most of the tables were sticky from not being wiped from the morning diners before us. The staff was pleasant and easy to work with.

    Upon pulling onto the property I did not feel safe. From people wandering asking for money to the group off to the side of the parking lot smoking weed, to the ajoining room with the lock unsecure. I had to push a chair in front of the door. At midnight we lost power and I was unable to speak with anyone from the front desk after many attempts. At check in (10:00pm) I had to wait 15 minutes at the desk before anyone came out from the back to check me in. Perhaps one of my worst experiences I have had in all my travels.

    foreigners and act like they didn’t understand what to do. I had to wait an hour for clean towels & they didn’t let me charge my room incidental fee for snacks. Very strange! Never again!

    Stayed here for a trip, was easily able to extend the stay for a night, didn’t have to move rooms, everything was pretty clean. The only thing that was surprising was the deposit for the room, didn’t expect it but they assured me i’d be able to get it back.

    Aside from that, I was told I was placed on the first floor because I had children (to prevent noise complaints). That’s prejudice and in no way shape or form should that have been told to me. I’ve never heard this at any hotel. Ever. My children are well behaved. If they weren’t, maybe the hotel should try looking into better insulation to prevent these complaints. There are air purifiers in the hallways, however, the hallways still smell like “weed”.

    The location is very good, as is the costumer service and the cleanliness of the place. However, the day I arrive at the hotel, there was a couple of man and woman locked in the women's bathroom. That was unpleasant.

    The room and elevators smelled strongly of cigarettes, but it sufficed for a sleep to catch an early flight after missing our connecting. The airport shuttle was slow to come at night and only leaves on the hour in the morning.

    This use to be my favorite hotel. Its has gone downhill. Im guessing people are living there now its people hanging outside. Weed smell all in the hallway. And roaches. And i mean big roaches i will not be returning

    The staff were amazing but the conditions of the hotel were horrible. The hotel smelled like urine. There were kids running around being loud and fighting at 3 o’clock in the morning. * Unattended kids at all times of the hour * There were bloody towels sitting right outside of the elevator. Hours after breakfast was over there was still food all over the dining area. I will never stay at this location again.

    While at the hotel, when I arrived there was a sign in the desk be back in 10 mins. I timed it & we waited for 23 mins until someone to arrived to help us. So to wait that long & then to be told there were no rooms for me to stay in....I WAS PISSED!!!! While waiting for my refund, a guest came to the desk bringing a mop back from mopping her own room from a water incident and she said she needed covers because her room did not come with linens when she checked in! Whaattt! As I tired to call around to find a room, sat down in their main dining around & all the individual chair cushions were peeling, and bench seats were falling apart. There was zero upkeep of the the hotel just from what I could see in the lobby and dining area, plus to see a guest mopping up her room and having no linens upon arrival is crazy! I probably dodged a bullet, but I still can't believe my child & I were left homeless for a weekend due to poor management or should I say the lack there of!!

    1st i was given a hard time about a dumb policy that has nothing to do with me. I literally had to beg the clerk at the desk to let me into the rooms that I already paid for through expedia. I was very patient and kind and still she had given me a hard time. She said something about not renting to locals... so if that is the case comfort inn needs to take that up with expedia who they are in partnership with for even allowing me to spend my money and then get all the way there to the hotel just to be harassed and potentially not even get the rooms. This is a loooong list of things that went wrong with my stay at this hotel from hell. 2nd when we finally

    First, we reserved a 2 queen room since we had 3 people in our party. When we arrived they put us in a single King bed room. The desk was great and was trying to be accommodating. They changed rooms for us and the second room was already occupied. The third room suggested had a small leak due to the AC unit and they informed us that there was some water under the tile. We were ok with it due to needing to get to bed. When we got into the room was was coming from between every tile near the second bed. As we were getting ready, my son said there were bugs crawling the walls in the bathroom. As we were getting ready to go to sleep my son noticed small roaches crawling on the side table and when my wife went to look, she saw a large roach crawling on the bed. We immediately got up and left. Luckily we were able to find another hotel that had a room since there was a game in town and workers in the area that were helping with Hurricane Helene relief. The staff was great but we had to get away from here.

    I have stayed here 3 times and they have always been very nice. This last visit, was when Hurricane Helen hit. We landed in Charlotte, not knowing what was happening. The hotel was wonderful and welcoming, even though there was no electricity or water. The city was devastated but the staff went above and beyond. They shared a lantern with us and made a reservation for an additional night. I would give the staff 10 stars and a raise, if I could. I will continue to use this hotel with all my travels through the Charlotte area. It is a great location, with restaurants close and prompt shuttle service. Thank you for keeping my mom and I safe!

    Staff kept exceptionally high standards of professionalism from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. I noticed fhey took time to explain amenities, breakfast and transportation to other customers and me, These are the staff I would want if I owned the hotel!

    The overall property fits the needs for a stay but do relax they have limited airport shuttle. I wasn’t aware when I booked but I was able to be picked up. Had to take an expensive cab back because Uber doesn’t come out to that location. Overall okay if you stay during their shuttle hours which I believe is 5am-12am.

    I woke up to a half dead roach in my room, which I had to ask for it to be removed because house keeping never came to service my room. I had no toiletries in my room (not even hand soap). My key card kept not working, so I had to go on three different occasion to have it reset. The hotel was also quite noisy with pretty constant knocking noises that sounded like construction and staff playing loud music in the hallways as they worked. The elevators were also very noisy and shaky, and seemed unsafe. Overall, I was pretty unsatisfied with my stay.

    It was a pretty good hotel for the price. The breakfast was surprisingly good and had more options than I expected. It was really hot that night and my AC work amazing. I would definitely book there again the next time I’m visiting Charlotte

    Our flight got cancelled we're stuck at the airport. It got changed to the next day so we found this hotel at a great price. We made it and they were awesome. They changed our check-out time to 12 so we could get some rest. Definitely recommended.

    NO attention to cleanliness. Big wad of black hair in my shower, dirty mirror, microwave not cleaned, pool area was filthy…..two days after a barbecue….grease all over the table….same huge bugs dead on the pool deck, bottle caps in the pool, etc. There seems to be NO pride in keeping up the property…The paint on the walls is peeling off, painted over with bright white paint in spots, etc….carpets in rooms frayed, seemingly dirty, etc….One guest moved to another hotel because she was killing roaches in her room…. Overall…..The bed was really comfortable, the people I met (guests) were very sweet…Breakfast staff nice….Desk helpful to me…not so nice to others…. Look…it doesn’t cost much to clean and it costs nothing to smile…..more of the above would increase the ratings significantly….. Lastly…..the Manager was speaking with two guests on my last day there. She assured them that the hotel was up to standard. My question to her is…..WHOSE STANDARD? My choice to stay here was solely based on price point and being trapped due to weather. My advice….Spend a bit more money and stay somewhere that actually cares about the guest experience….
