Very pleasant experience. It's worthy noting that we had a small billing issue after checkout and it's nice that the management team quickly responded to solve the problem. Will definitely stay again.

The moldy, bleach smells in the hallway. Anyone can walk into the hotel and access the guestroom floors. I saw zero security presence in 4 days.

There is a cafe for breakfast and coffee to purchase. There isn't any complementary coffee or tea in room either.

There was some sort of dry residue on the comforter sheet but every thing else was tidy and squared away morning breakfast was decent and the ac works really well.

The ballroom for the stitch retreat was well lit there was plenty of room for all the tables. Staff was very friendly. THe outdoor patio where we sat some of the time was very clean and comfortable.

The hotel itself is old and smells of mold. The rooms are nice enough although the windows are small.

Very nice inside. Food was great. Staff was very nice. Walls were so thin and the person next to us was playing rap music that sounded like the speaker was in our room. Then someone that I believe was the cleaning staff was playing loud music in the hallway. All of this woke us up both mornings.

My floor smelled like dogs when you get off elevator. My room door kept locking. Had to play with the door handle in order to close the door. Other guest next to me were loud, dogs barking. Very disappointing for the cost that was paid. Parking was horrible.

The bad: everything else… the room was not maintained: small things (dying remote batteries) to larger things fridge wasn’t cold, but was cold enough to leak condensation all over the floor. To “what?”: the shower curtain had been crudely shortened so much that it left a 3” gap between its bottom and the tub edge (water got everywhere). And lastly, the unforgivable… the toilet was loose and rocked side to side: the wax ring was obviously no longer sealing, so smells from the trap kept coming up. Why unforgivable though? Beside it being obvious to anyone who cleaned the bathroom, the caulk around the bottom showed that someone knew about it, but couldn’t be bothered to fix it properly.

I’ve stayed at this Marriot in the past and had a much nicer experience. My husband and I came in on a red eye and when checking in the front desk staff was less than friendly which was neither here nor there. The room was okay our bathroom had a broken curtain and chipping tub bht we were only staying one night so we dealt with it but in the past I’ve had a nicer room better staff experience. But the area surrounding the hotel is beautiful I would still probably stay here again in the future

Great location, very clean in all areas. Restaurant and bar offered nice selections and staff were very attentive. Numerous restaurants and shopping within wslking distance. I enjoyed interacting with the front desk staff at various times during my stay.

My husband and I truly enjoy our stay at this property. We said that when we visit Charlotte again, we will definitely be staying at this same hotel. It was close to everything. The malls places to eat. We weren’t far from anything. We definitely enjoyed the staff the cleanliness of the hotel, and also just the chicness of the hotel.

Being there over Christmas one thing that was important was the ability to get a late breakfast/brunch Christmas morning. Got wrong info and had to go to another property to eat. Also the bar tender was nice but spent way too much time chatting with other hotel staff. Several times had to walk down to where she was chatting to order drinks. Noticed this with other patrons too.

Terrible experience. I reserved a room with two beds, but upon check-in, I was told they had “run out of rooms” and was given a room with a king bed instead. Despite booking a two-bed room, they couldn’t offer accommodation at another property. They then offered a rollaway bed, and when I asked for extra blankets, they claimed the property didn’t have any available. This was the worst stay I’ve ever had at a Marriott, and neither the staff nor the managers were willing to provide a credit or any form of compensation for their mistake.

I think the facility is (carpet) dated but with that said they have done an excellent job with there upgrade to the facility.

There are two glasses for water in the bathroom but they were filthy and they seem to have never been washed. I paid for breakfast with my booking, but found out that you have to go the bar and order, which means I had to sit and wait instead of a breakfast bar like most hotels have. Terrible place to stay. Room’s AC was not cooling properly and the entire hotel including elevators were stinking badly and it was suffocating. It’s a total waste of our money and won’t recommend this place.

It was a wonderful location. Easy access to going many places in Charlotte and leaving the city. Only about 15 min from the airport and has a wonderful mall near by.

Loved the location to outside restaurants. I thought it would have been helpful to get information on the breakfast area as opposed to the restaurant. I would consider staying there again, and I would recommend the hotel to others.

The rooms where spacious, clean and the beds where comfortable. We splurged for the M club lounge which was great snacks, drinks, breakfast and appetizers for members all were tasty . Will definitely stay here again when we visit Charlotte .

I come to Charlotte often for a shopping spree with my best friend. I have stayed at this hotel for years. It is convenient a location for shopping and great meals. On this trip - I had left my phone plug at home and the Night Manager was so kind to offer me one I could use through my stay! Not many hotels have that kind of hospitality!!!

Did not like parking and did not like 13 bucs/day for wifi, otherwise than those irritants it was fine

Next hotel but basic!! The parking is horrible, if your not a marriot member you have to pay for wifi. No complimentary coffe which is a negative. Coffee should always be free at a hotel. There also was no shower gel in bath it was empty. Overall it was an okay stay.

We found the property to be very clean, quiet, and inviting.

Next the shower would not drain. Like water backed up 12+ inches and took pver an hour to drain down. Tried to call front desk for more towels and to tell about the room issues but the room phone wouldnt work. To expensive a room for this kind of experience.

The rooms need to be dusted. The ceiling had so much dust in them and the window curtains need to be pulled back so they can dust and spray for Cobb webs and hugs! It was bugs all In our hotel window seals
