    I liked where we were located. I didn't like that my door would not close, so the first night you could just push.my door and you could get it easily. I called the front desk and they told me to slam it. Had to slam it repeatedly before it closed. I haven't received my deposit and it's been two weeks. I have never had to wait that long for my deposit.

    The problems started as soon as I checked into my room. The room was clearly not cleaned to an acceptable standard. There were hairs on the toilet seat that certainly did not belong to me, which immediately raised concerns about the cleanliness of the entire room. In the kitchenette area, there were greasy handprints on the countertop as though someone had recently handled food and the surface had never been properly wiped down. Even more concerning, there were greasy fingerprints on the paper towel roll, and the grease had soaked through the paper, making it obvious that someone with dirty hands had handled it before my arrival. Unfortunately, the experience only got worse. When I checked out the following morning, I found a woman lying passed out on the curb directly outside the hotel. Concerned for her well-being, I stopped to check on her and determine whether she needed medical assistance. She was alert enough to wake up, tell me she was okay, and then simply rolled over and went back to sleep on the curb. Between the unacceptable cleanliness issues in the room and the unsettling scene outside the hotel, this property did not provide the safe, clean, and comfortable experience that guests should expect. I cannot recommend staying here and will not be returning.

    This hotel was not clean. They have roaches, the first room I was placed in only 1 of the beds was clean the other bed had a big nasty grease stains and foot prints on the sheets. The second room I was switched to smelled liked animals, had a formal leak under the bathroom sink and they left dirty towels under bathroom sink, the bed I slept on felt like the springs were coming through the mattress, the pillows smelt old as if they never had been cleaned or changed out in years, the lamp on the table was falling apart, they had wet tissue balls on the bathroom wall. This property should not be listed as part of the IHG brand as it gives them a bad reputation.

    One thing they did not take cash. Even tho by the usa goverment law. They must take tender. Two the room was not cleaned to the fullest. Finger prints all over micro wave Dead flys on floor and window. Dust on all tables Tub had pink and black fungus in the seams. Black finger prints on door jams . Kids nose pickings on the wall. I had to clean everything. Counter tops , doors, door jams, shower , sink, microwave, table. They also do not clean your room for 7 days. And you have to go exchange your own bath towels. No kitchen. It was a restaurant in front of hotel. Did not save money. No free breakfast

    We booked a suite. There was plenty of room for everyone. I like that the beds were in a separate room divided by a door. That was nice for sure. The only thing that would have made it better was if there was a hairdryer and a fan of some sort in the bedroom area. There was a vent thingie that had a fan to pull air from living area tho. So temp was comfortable all night. And I also liked that there was 2 tvs. No hairdryer

    My stay at the Princess Royale Oceanfront Resort was absolutely incredible! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for. The staff went above and beyond—always friendly, attentive, and quick to make sure everything was perfect. The location couldn’t be better. Waking up each morning to a stunning oceanfront view was unforgettable, and having the beach just steps away made the whole trip effortless and relaxing. The indoor atrium pool area was beautiful and spacious, giving the resort a tropical feel no matter the weather outside. My room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed, with all the little touches that made it feel like home. Dining at the resort was a treat—the food was fresh and delicious, and the service was top-notch. Whether lounging by the pool, enjoying the ocean breeze, or exploring the nearby shops and attractions, there was never a dull moment. This resort truly has everything you need for a relaxing and memorable getaway. I can’t recommend Princess Royale Oceanfront Resort enough—I’ll definitely be coming back! The only downsides I noticed were that the WiFi could be a bit more reliable, and the pool hours went quite late into the night. While this might be convenient for families with children, it sometimes led to extra noise that wasn’t as enjoyable for guests traveling without kids.

    I loved all of the accommodations and the fact that it was close to the Bank of America Stadium. It was a wonderful stay! I noticed the shower wasn’t thoroughly cleaned but not a big deal. I would have loved for the pool to have been opened, we were looking forward to that.

    The staff where amazing and vary helpful the place for the most part was clean only complaints i have was the floors could have been mopped and swept better and the one bedroom suit could use a fan in the actual room instead of the living room only and last but not least they should upgrade the old tv out for roku or smart tv that way people could just use they're account and stream of the tv instead of hotel paying for cable but ill definitely use this hotel when ever i visit Charlotte north carolina again

    So the employees were great. Friendly helpful. Trash cans by elevators overflowing bags sitting on top of cans. Smelled like people smoking pot outside doors. Place kinda run down. Entry door by elevator broken.

    TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!! I had a sleepover for my little girl(3-4 kids) the original room was FILTHY!!!!!!!!!! Legit had dog hair all on the couch I almost threw up then the nice lady gave us another room and that one was dirty as well!!!! I understand no one wants to work but you would think the manager would help clean or something especially with all of the diseases going around!! I couldn’t even let my babies sleep there because the sheets were dirty and stained!!! We literally had to pack up in the middle of the night and drive all the way home!! The lady said she will give me Half of my money back but I still have yet to see it! She was nice but very nonchalant I guess because she really couldn’t do anything but that’s not her fault. The whole 3rd floor was stink asf and the trash was piled up by the elevator . There were weird men at the pool trying to talk to my children … I thought this was the nice part of town but I guess I was dead wrong! I only booked here because of last minute plan changes !

    the hotel was nice, right off the interstate. The only issue I had was I was given a different room than the one I reserved on orbitz. The hotel staff said it was orbitz fault not theirs. I reserved a 2 queen bed suite with a sofa and lounge chair, but got a studio with 2 queen beds and only the chair. The hotel said orbitz reservation sent to them by orbitz was for the room I got. They said they were sold out of rooms with the sofa's, and it was Not their fault but orbitz I got the incorrect room. Basicly the Hotel Staff took no blame for my not getting the room I reserved.

    Due to COVID 19 I would expect that the rooms would have been thoroughly cleaned. Which they were not!! Definitely need to travel with your Lysol and Clorox wipes during these unforeseen times. There was a layer of dust build up on top of the fridge, which was an indication housekeeping just don't wipe down everything after each check out. The dispensers in the shower had a white film build up, that I didn't even touch another indication. The floors were not clean. The clothe chairs had satins on them, which I didn't sit in at all disgusting, when they get like that they should be replaced or get furniture with build in stain protection, paid the extra money!! The shower is due for upgrade/makeover too much patching when just need to upgrade completely. There was only 3 out of the 7 washer and dryer combo which was operating the others were out of service on the 1st floor. The bed was very comfortable, which is what I remember from a previous Candlewood stay years ago pre-covid and the staff was friendly. Overall would I stay at this location again, probably not. All hotels need to do a lot better with proper cleaning, and travelers need to be prepare to do a deep cleaning as well.

    The beds where worn down and sag in the middle. The "deluxe continental breakfast" breakfast was cereal and yogurt. The rooms where spacious and very quiet but they where older. Overall, it was a good hotel just misleading about the breakfast part.

    We had 4 rooms reserved for our new employees coming to Charlotte for training. One guest had to wait for another room because his first room was very dirty. Another said their room smelled like someone had just done drugs in it and the elevator walls were smeared with something questionable, so she actually went to another hotel. Besides, it looks like they charged us more than they should have. Horrible experience!

    1st room: smelled horrible, dish washer spilled water all over the floor. Neighbors were keen on nocturnal activities, unfortunately walls seem to be paper thin. I asked to be changed in the morning, left came back at night, room was still flooded and smelly. 2nd room: smelled funny (but far better). On second night I noticed huge glow in the dark writings on the wall right next to the bed (almost had a heart attack - still not sure how I missed them on the 1st night). Elevator was dirty. Key cards kept malfunctioning - was locked out several times. Overall, not a bad hotel, but maintenance of the rooms is horrible. Personnel is super friendly but they seem to lack proper communication tools (between each other - had to tell the same story 5 times each time something new pop-up).

    Great city. Hotel was not very clean. There were crumbs on the counters when we first checked in, hall didn’t look like it had been vacuumed. The room had great amenities and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. I’d give them a second chance if I return to Charlotte.?

    Awful! The first room they put us in wasn't clean. The bed had no bedding, linens on the couch and trash on the counter. Then the next room smelled like straight smoke. Definitely would NOT recommend for anyone to stay here if you want a clean hotel.

    My family and I loved it! The staff was very friendly. It would have been nice if they had more of a selection for breakfast, but overall it was very nice and we will be back.

    Overall good location with easy access to most of Charlotte / Ballentine area. Relatively clean. Not a romantic destination hotel but fine for a quick business trip.

    The Manager and the Front desk Staff was very friendly and accommodating, they got me checked in by 1:00 pm (which was very important to me because i had been traveling since 3:00 am) they was very considerate to my requests and always had a smile. The facility could use a better cleaning (the elevator had dirt deposits in the corner, the hallway carpet could use a cleaning and the back parking lot looked like a redneck luau because of a tarp with chairs and a grill under it) my room carpet could have used a good cleaning because of stains and what looked like embedded gum in one spot. I know that I sound like a complaining person but I am a clean freak and when I see stains and dirt I wanna throw up.

    The room was quite comfortable, and I had no issues sleeping and feeling safe and sound. The only complaint I have is that the breakfast was less than I expected. Mostly pastries.
