The stay was nice. The parking was kind of confusing if you’re only staying for one night it’s no point to do valet especially if you’re gonna use like Uber. I booked a city view room, but I really didn’t enjoy the view that I got the room was clean. Check in and checkout was pretty fast. Really close to everything also

I do recommend putting a microwave in the hotel room because if you get something to eat and save some of it until later then there is no way to reheat it. Otherwise I was absolutely thrilled with my stay, the service, the cleanliness, and the kindness and helpfulness of all staff members.

I booked this room for my son and paid up front so all he had to do was check in, show ID and credit card and enjoy a nice nice’s rest after working 10+ hours in the sun. Upon arrival, he was refused entry to the room , even though he had all of the proper identification (valid DL, passport and credit card - not atm card w Visa logo). He was still denied entry to the room and told to go home and was not given a refund for the inconvenience in which we did nothing wrong. If there was an issue with him having the room, that should have been disclosed prior to taking my money, giving me a confirmation number and telling him he would be able to go right to sleep as soon as he was done with his work day. Needless to say, I will NEVER use your company or any of its subsidiaries in the future. You have more than let me down in whatever scam you are pulling. I am more than upset in how this worked out and am sick to my stomach over how you would choose to treat a paying customer.

It's ok for a night in town, centrally located to restaurants and spectrum center . Very walkable , but not long stays . No central A.C just a wall unit which is fine but quite loud.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay for a concert. It’s connected to what was once The Epicenter so it’s a little eerie since most businesses closed. Super close (walking distance) to the spectrum center. Great restaurants nearby. Room was spacious with a beautiful view. Bed was super comfortable. TV is outdated, can’t use any streaming service unless you have a Samsung phone. Water pressure and temperature in shower was lacking. We couldn’t find an ice machine. We would give our stay an 8/10.

i liked the city view, and the staff had good customer service. only thing I didn’t like was the tv in the room. Very complicated to connect the phone so I could watch Netflix, prime, etc. I think you guys should just get a Roku tv. Other than that they stay was great.

Beautiful Hotel, nice and friendly staff. I like the location and the valet parking. Easy to walk to food places. Even offer bar. I wasn't a big fan of the breakfast nothing hot, but I appreciate that complimentary breakfast we were offered.

The staff at the front desk were very friendly. Breakfast closed at 9:30 which was disappointing and wasn’t clearly advertised. Parking and unloading luggage was inconvenient to location. There were no carts available upon arrival and you had to go up to the 5th floor of hotel to get a cart and come back down to the sidewalk. There was only 1 elevator available so that took quite some time. There was no usb plug in the room to charge devices.

Lacking: info on the fact that the entrance is facing the SIDE of the building (not street side) & the front desk is on the 5th floor. during our stay, there was only one of two elevators working, so there was quite a way to get up to the lobby and down from the lobby. The only other amenity issue I would like to share is that the bathroom door is a sliding door, without much privacy or even sealing in the steam from the shower and the sound of a flush or whats goin in the bowl TO BE flushed. Otherwise, everything else was fine

We were in town for a concert and that made for a rough time only having one working elevator, also made you feel uneasy in the parking garage just waiting for that one elevator. AC struggled but worked. Staff were very nice and room was clean.

Staff was great at the front desk. However only having one elevator in and out was a little annoying and often took forever. We also lost hot water for a day but staff were nice about it wasn’t much they could do. It’s also very loud! But the earplugs come in handly.

I stayed at the Aloft due to its close proximity to Spectrum Stadium for a concert. Overall, the stay was good. Hotel cleanliness was average. The front desk staff stood out as exceptionally friendly and was easily the best part of the stay. Overall, it was a good stay. Nothing exceptional to report beyond the excellent staff. The bar/restaurant setup was a bit misleading, as the QR code menu did not match the food that was actually available. That said, the bartender was very helpful and personable, which made the experience more enjoyable.

I loved how friendly the stuff was! I didn’t like the rooms felt outdated. I paid close to $300 for a one night stay and didn’t feel like the money met the quality expectations. The staff were super friendly! The parking was $30 which wasn’t posted until after I made the reservation.

I booked 2 nights but had to miss the first one due to an unexpected death in my family that delayed my trip. I tried calling the hotel to tell them I would not arrive until the next day, but no one answered. I called again the following day, and they told me they cancelled my entire reservation as a no-show. Lost $400.

Nice location and easy access to uptown Charlotte. The ONLY issue we had was the late night drag racing that could be heard very loud and clear. We wondered why there were ear plugs in the room but that night we found out. Again nice clean room and amenities but be prepared for the nascar drag racing noise!!

This was the nastiest hotel i’ve ever been in … every thing was dark …..There were dirty towels in the bathroom, sink was broken…We knew we couldn’t get our money back so we left our car there long enough to watch a concert and then drove 3 hours home in the middle of the night …

Quiet and convenient location

Room was clean and check-in was quick. If you book through Expedia, the downside is that the Aloft "complimentary" breakfast isn't actually complimentary. A note for folks who drive here: use the hotel's valet parking instead of self-parking. It is cheaper to use the hotel's valet but they won't tell you that until after you've self-parked and have to have someone walk down to let you out of the parking garage.

The front desk staff was so very accommodating and, they had me in a room in about an hour. The lobby was spacious and comfortable to get work done until then. Your front desk staff is top tier!

The front desk staff was great. Everyone that i encountered was so nice and looked like they actually wanted to be there. The valet parking when you are coming back to the hotel after 9pm was kind of confusing the first night. That should definitely be explained a bit better.

This was an excellent location in that we were able to walk to the Spectrum Center in less than two minutes. The staff was very friendly. I was there celebrating my birthday and was given a gift card to use in house. This is my second time staying here, both times were for events for my birthday and it does not disappoint.

We booked this hotel to stay near the Spectrum Center but the location was the only good thing about this hotel. The first room they assigned us smelled terrible upon entry. When we entered the bedroom the floor had a large stain and the floor was soaked so we requested another room. The manager at the desk was not friendly or apologetic. The 2nd floor was better upon entry but when we returned from the concert and tried to sleep the street noise was extremely loud and kept us awake most of the night. I have never stayed at a hotel that offered ear plugs but they only provided one pair. The other issue is the design of the room, when you turn the light on in the bathroom, the light shines in the bedroom through a frosted window directly next to the bed. Needless to say, I will never stay here again.

The room was clean, mostly. The shower had not been cleaned well. There was something black sitting in the corner of the shower that had me concerned. Luckily, we brought shoes to wear in the shower for this reason alone! You never know how clean the staff is getting things, or if they’re cleaning at all for that matter. The guests in the room beside us were very rude and noisy. They were knocking on our joining room door when they first arrived as well as knocking on our door at 3 in the morning! When we tried to call the front desk to report it, we got a message saying the front desk is unavailable. The best thing about the hotel was the attendant at the desk when we first checked in, Mikey! Mikey was very personable and a joy to engage with and his customer service was on point!

Paid for a city view but we were on the lowest floor looking at air units not the city. All we heard all night were sirens and horns. The front desk staff was amazing. It's nice to get world class customer service these days. We were snowed in, so we didn't get to enjoy the uptown, however it was nice and cozy indoors. The common area in the lobby was fun.

At the bar, we asked for a recommendation for lunch in Rock Hill, SC and got a fantastic recommendation for Helen's Hot Chicken and had a great conversation. The check in is up an elevator, which can be tricky to find if you aren't made aware ahead of time, but thankfully our driver knew the area. Check-in was smooth, room was clean and staff was awesome. We would definitely stay here again.

This is 3rd time staying at this hotel. The room we had this time was street side and you could hear traffic on the 8th floor. Was not so pleasant when trying to sleep and loud cars revved their engines. Was disappointed at how little there was at the now City Center. When was Epi Center there were so many places to go. Kinda sad.

The hotel was decent overall; however, the rooms require some updating. Upon arrival, the bathroom light was not working and the toilet wasn’t functioning properly. We had to fix it ourselves, which shouldn’t happen during a stay

Clean , nice , only issue I had was parking , not enough signs to tell you where to go & im not from the area so I just parked in a parking garage that I paid for ( not sure if they had on site parking or not ) so definitely more signs to help others know where to go.

Nice clean place to stay. Simple rooms. Once you figure out how to get in/out, it's a very convenient place to stay if you plan to walk around uptown

Location was great and the rooms were okay. But the walls were very thin. We were woken up by our next door neighbor past midnight. We heard their conversation and laughter. Fortunately, the room does come with ear plugs, I highly recommend using them if you’re trying to sleep.

Doing my visit the hotel look very dated including a room you can hear it through the walls as if it was paper. And even the showers look like something out of a retro hotel.

The floor that I stayed on was very hot in the hall, the elevator sounds like it needs to be fixed, paid for the city view and it was facing the epicenter undergoing construction the view looks way better at night but service was very good nice staff smooth and easy check in and out

First time in this hotel and we really liked it. Staff very nice, room big and comfy.

There were minor issues with my room, which happens in property ownership. However the staff were extremely quick at resolving my concerns with a positive attitude and the remaining time was very pleasant. Great people

was dismissive and suggested I call DoorDash which is fine but being in strange city you have I had no idea . Imagine my surprise the next morning I found out there was a 24 hour ipen Redeye Diner connected the Aloft and a shopping center. I was surprised staff didnt know that. But the morning team were wonderful.

I slept very well on that nice comfortable cushy bed. Some damage was seen in the room. The mayor had a crack in it and the safe was busted in them. Coffee machine was broken. However, they did bring me a new coffee maker. The water in the shower Could not be adjusted. It was pretty hot and could not turn down to cooler temperature.

Overall a great stay. Close to the convention center and lots of food choices within walking distance.

I really enjoy staying at the Aloft, have numerous times in various cities. The staff was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. The air conditioner was rather noisy, but as it turns out, helped block the road noise. I was surprised that there was racing on the streets each night and even during the day. Having the bar and basic food items on site was awesome.

We enjoyed our stay at the Aloft. I thought breakfast was included but it wasn't. The internet didn't always stay connected. The staff was amazing.

This hotel has a third-party valet company parking cars, and they left our car on all night because when we checked out the next day, our car wouldn't start. The valet manager jumped our vehicle so we could go to an auto store to buy a new battery. The hotel staff took the valet charge off my bill. The room was nice until we needed to shower and/or wash our hands. Even on the coldest setting, the water was extremely hot.

Valet parking service at night was HORRIBLE. You pay for the service and you have to take your car to be parked in the garage. The valet staff was very rude. However, i learned that they are not affiliated with the hotel. The hotel pays them.

Places were easy to get to, very walkable and the stay was over all nice. It is an older hotel and could use some updates. The AC had to run all the time to keep the humidity out of the room but thats to be expected for the time of year. I would stay here again.

Loved the unique layout of the room and bathroom. Great size shower, bed clean and compfy. Staff was very friendly.

Overall, a nice stay. They had no control of revving engines on the streets at 2am but now I understand the earplugs in the room, lol

Finding the hotel was challenging as Waze was confused how to get there. The menu at the bar was absolutely awful.

Sink had slow drain and iron didn't work well but I like the convenient location and ease of check in with valet service.

The room was really nice and had a great view of the city. The price for the room was a little bit high though but, I would stay there again because the room was very large and the service was great.

The staff at the Aloft was super-friendly, and the location in uptown Charlotte is great. And while I expect noise in a city, the design of the room, with high ceilings and a "loft" feel, means that there's a LOT of noise, both from adjoining rooms and the outside. We knew exactly when the people in the room next to us came home (about 3 AM) and exactly what they were doing in the room (they had fun). Again, great friendly staff, room was clean and exactly what we expected, I just wish there was any sort of noise dampening/privacy.

Felt more like a bar and lounge place than a hotel. Front desk workers were not very friendly. Rooms were very small and tiny. And very hard to find the actual hotel and lobby. Definitely would not be returning to this hotel ever again.

Had to share the elevator with the public and front desk service was horrible. Will NEVER recommend or stay here again

“Vinny” at the front desk was extremely rude. Also when I checked in didn’t get the room I booked because “usually people down show up after 12am”. My number was written down by 2 people to have the manager call me but they never did. Great property but was lacking in great staff.

I needed handicap room with railings and roll in shower.

Location of the hotel was great. Water pressure in the shower kept acting funny. Hotel was ok for quick cheap get away. I wasn't a fan of the paying to park. Don't think I would stay again.

This property is in desperate need of a full remodel. The property wasn't dirty, but you could tell that it was very old and needs to be replaced. The bathrooms need to be fully gutted and redone.

Great property locate at the heart of Charlotte, very walkable and right next to a public parking garage so you can stay parked after check-out if you want to do something on the last day of your stay. Nice, convenient and spacious rooms with good city views. Perfect for a weekend getaway to experience the city life.

The room was supposed to be a suite I was given a handicap suite, with a terrible smell. I would never stay there, absolutely horrible service, then they couldn't provide me a better room. I canceled my stay.

Stayed in room 1518. Come carpet tiles were sticking up, and would catch your foot as you walked by, and the toilet wasn’t fastened down, so it would twist and clunk whenever you sat down. Staff was very friendly.

I enjoyed my three night stay at the property. It is two blocks from the convention center and three blocks from the arena. The property is in a great location, has a great bar, offers a pool table, shuffle board, and cornhole all inside. The gym was decent too if a little small. Plenty of dining options in the area. A four block walk to Duckworth's is absolutely worth it and we did it twice!

Really loud and could hear the people in the next room over, even their TV. The bathroom wallpaper was coming off and the shower was broken.

Hotel was in a good location for restaurants and to see a show. Rooms were adequate but needed maintenance. Remote blinds did not work, water pressure was low and sink was clogged. Friends had to switch rooms as their AC did not work. Lots of street noise even on the 12th floor. Pot smell was very prevalent.

Very clean. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Great view. Very downtown outside. It was a little difficult to locate valet/ parking and the hotel itself in the bustle.
