Very clean property, right on edge of UNC Campus. Very quiet. Has breakfast and a sports bar as well as pool and outdoor activities.

Room was spacious and clean. Pool was wonderful. The guest pantry was very useful. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. A lovely stay!

Everything was great! The only issue was parking. There is not enough parking for the amount of guests when it’s a full hotel. Took a little while to find a place we could park. Other than that, it was excellent and we would definitely stay there again.

The breakfast excellent, staff is great and the clean room are always comfortable. I will definitely be back if I'm in Chapel Hill, NC.

This is a quiet, but easily accessible hotel. It feels a bit corporate, but that is probably intended since it's a hotel that supports UNC's executive MBA program. The hotel was well appointed but as a couple traveling for leisure, I would select a different hotel the next time I'm in the research triangle.

The Rizzo Center property was impressive in multiple ways beginning with the location in picturesque Meadowmont. From the colorful gardens, to the friendly staff, cleanliness, and abundant amenities, our stay was exceptional. I highly recommend the hotel and would certainly return if visiting in the area again.

The breakfast was delicious. Everything offered was the perfect temperature. Options available satisfied everyone at the table and it was all displayed beautifully. Staff were attentive. I actually had to pay for the room twice because booking.com has no way to contact them when a change needs to be made. All of their "help" tabs are ai answers to frequently asked questions which was no help at all. I will never use booking.com again. The hotel was great, I would stay there again but never through booking.com .

Room was not cleaned during our stay. On Saturday I mentioned this to the staff at the desk and they ASSURED me the room would be cleaned. Nothing done. For the price I paid per night, close to $1000 I should expect better. Not acceptable! Especially for a room a I paid for in advance almost 1 YEAR AGO IN FULL. Refund due accordingly!! Please review!

Our room was very clean,large and had a very comfortable bed. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was a great hot buffet in a lovely restaurant. We enjoyed the beautiful property and the pool. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Our king size suite had a kitchen/entry area, a living room, large bedroom, huge bathroom, and a very large balcony. We enjoyed the plush bathrobes and the guest pantry that offered us late night snacks, ice cream, and drinks. The breakfast buffet was high quality and included a wait staff at elegant plated tables. While I didn't enjoy the fitness center, it definitely offered a lot of options. The outdoor pool is heated which I wished I'd known (even in Dec) as I'd taken my suit out of my suitcase. The layout of the hotel can be a bit confusing but the staff does a great job with signage and providing a map. We can't wait to visit again. Our time truly was pleasant all around.

everything seemed. No doors slamming, nobody talking in the halls outside your room, no toilets flushing in the room above, no TV's blaring in the room next door. It all made for a very relaxing stay. I realize this type of construction does not come cheap, and the rates reflect that fact, but it is well worth the expense.

I really enjoyed this property. Each floor has an area with snacks in a refrigerator like sodas and ice cream and popcorn. We stayed during a not very busy time, but I bet this place would be amazing during a football or basketball game.

Toilet in the room didnt work. Housecleaning came and opened door by 8am. Alerted the staff of issues and was ignored and told to contact a manager because we booked through expedia, whatever that is supposed to mean.

One server completly disappeared for while. My burger was served overcooked and the fries were palatable. We were not part of the convention group staying there, but were looking forward to a nice dinner after a harrowing day at the hospital. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Check out was easy.

We are regular travelers to Chapel Hill and the triangle to see children and attend various events. Our stay at the Rizzo is consistently excellent, in terms of staff, property, cleanliness, excellence in rooms and a quiet retreat out of the pace and hectic mess of the triangle! We also have found room rates to be incredibly affordable unless it’s a graduation or ball game weekend. We will always be regulars at the Rizzo!

The hotel is beautiful with nicely manicured grounds. They do NOT have EV charging. The staff was nice. The main issue we had was the smell in our room. We were only there for one night so I did not ask to change rooms. It had a terrible old, musty smell. When we entered the room, the air conditioner was turned off so I am not sure if that was the issue but the smell never went away. I honestly thought it smelled like a dirty diaper. I searched the room and under the beds but never found the source of the smell. The toilet also immediately clogged when my child used it so I wonder if the room maybe flooded before and the smell was the carpet?

Decent hotel despite how confusing the floor plan can be. Sadly enough when we arrived the room that we were assigned was dirty and had not been cleaned. They made the transition to another room painless.

I've stayed here a few times before. It is a wonderful place for respite. Some hotels offer free breakfast that is mediocre. Rizzo has the best free breakfast anywhere. It's a great property to explore history and nature. Only problem? The heating was a little difficult to get right.

My wife and I stayed here for two days, as we were in town for a Tar Heels basketball game. The location was about 6-7 minutes from the Dean Smith Center, but also close to the Friday Center, one of the pickup sites for the Tar Heel Express shuttle on game days, which was super convenient! The hotel was clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet was outstanding! And the complimentary soda, popcorn, and ice cream on each floor was an added bonus!! We would definitely stay here again in the future!

This is an old fashion looking building on outside but absolutely state of the art inside. Lovely rooms and dining and beautiful setting. Lots of comfort features included . This is perfect for UNC visits or just Chapel Hill (which is where we were going)

The Rizzo Center was a lovely upgrade from the usual hotels we stay at. My daughter & I had a brief stay, while visiting colleges in the area. We were looking forward to a swim in the beautiful pool!! But I forgot my suit and then Hurricane Debby arrived. But our stay was great any how - beautiful rooms, spacious and very clean. Complimentary breakfast was the best I have ever had. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Great hotel for a family stay. The pantry on each floor with soda, popcorn and ice cream was such a nice touch that kept the kids happy. And the free laundry room was amazing given we were on a 2 week road trip. The site isn’t walking distance to anything so a car is needed, but the area is really lovely. We loved the pool!

Comfy bed, spacious room, nice towels

Always a wonderful stay, unfortunately this time, there was a LOUD barking dog that woke my toddler up. This dog also barked at night causing him to wake up again. Not a fun time b.

Loved this property! It was quiet and clean and the continental breakfast was incredible! The guest pantry was an added treat. The pool was clean and safe for little kids. Would definitely recommend and we will be back!

My son and I wish to say kudos to the night staff at the front desk! Very helpful and cordial. He ensured we were well informed about everything we needed to know about the Hotel, breakfast, snacks, parking etc. Thank you for a brilliant and comfortable stay.

Beautiful and comfortable hotel in a quiet neighborhood.

The balconies off the hallways were delightful, as were the small seating areas equipped with television and serving bar on the floor. The guest pantry area was a welcoming amenity. We enjoyed the grill in the evening and breakfast was a very good selection of breakfast foods and beverages. The only suggestion I can offer is that the signage both on the grounds leading to the hotel lobby and in the hotel is difficult to read, particularly on a dark evening. Arriving at the lobby was confusing, as was the interior layout. This seemed to be a general comment by both guests and staff alike. Both could easily be corrected. Overall, however, the hotel was a wonderful choice, and we would absolutely stay again.

We stayed in one of their suites. Very comfortable and nice layout. Beautiful grounds to take an evening walk in. Free breakfast buffet. Free treats. Did I say free treats? Yep. The historic DeBose home is well worth the time to take a look around in. If your company/group is looking for a restful place to hold a meeting, the have two other halls with plenty of space in addition to the DeBose home. Not far down the road at the elementary school is a trail head for nature hike down to a creek. If you have the time, explore the Duke Gardens. Free admission, pay to park. Don't forget the many restaurants in Chapel Hill and the Bluebird French restaurant in the Meadowmont Shopping Center. Only negative was hearing the neighbors plumbing.

This is a beautiful hotel and everyone was kind and hospitable. It is a very large establishment therefore it made for difficult navigation

Outstanding accommodations set on a gorgeous campus. You’d have to be at a 4-5 star resort to match this facility. City center hotels can’t compete
