Everything was great at the hotel except for one of the elevator was out at the time making for long wait time. Otherwise it was a great stay here. The rooms are very clean. The breakfast was delicious and it was great having a pool for kids to swim. Staff is very friendly and once we checked out with a very friendly and very helpful during our visit.

I speant five months traveling for a job last year; back and forth from here to Boulder, Colorado. I staid at a different hotel almost every time because every one within my budget sucked. This little hotel is Five stars for the money. The breakfast is the same stuff you would get at a Holiday Inn express, but the rooms are absolutely lovely. This hotel is also conveniently located to a walkable little shopping area, where you'll find an organic grocery and a really good burger spot.

We went to a UNC game. Go Heels! (We won)! Space was clean and quiet.

Very disappointed with the staff and their reservation coordination. Booked our room and had an event that prevented us from checking in before 10:00pm and apparently the hotel had oversold their rooms. We went to check in and they said that they oversold the rooms so we had to drive 2.5 hours home after a very long day. Finally got home a 1:30am absolutely exhausted and extremely disappointed. Customer service is everything and Hyatt Place at Chapel Hill failed all the way around. I will never recommend this hotel and will be sure that I share this story openly.

Could have been a lot warmer. The selection was okay but it was not very warm even though we were there by 7:30 in the morning.

We really enjoyed our stay at this very nice hotel located very close to Chapel Hill and Carrboro, NC. The breakfast was nice and the coffee was good. Every one of the staff was friendly and helpful. Unlike many of the hotels located in Chapel Hill, there is no charge for parking here. The room was well appointed and comfortable.

The pride party is in a nice location, quiet and easy to find. The entrance to the hotel needs some updating, they have a modern looking water, fountain decor, but it just needs some vegetation or plants for decorative purposes.

Rooms & staff was very nice Parking was horrible. Many vehicles parked in 2 spaces making it very difficult to have parking spaces for everyone so vehicles were parking along curbs and behind other vehicles making it very difficult to park and leave the parking lot.

Free breakfast was nice and offered many varieties to choose from. Bathroom was clean and shower had plenty of water pressure. Parking lot is a little small, but, we had no problem finding a spot. Bed was comfortable.

Very clean and convenient to multiple events in Chapel Hill. Breakfast ends way too early if you are not on a work schedule, you still need to grab breakfast before 8am.

Aside from the South Village behind this hotel, there is nowhere to go without taking a shared ride—a really bland place to stay. The pool was closed during the cold season, a fact not indicated anywhere. The restaurant is a joke, with no vegetarian options aside from a cheese pizza.

I like the convenience of the location, the parking lot area. I did not like that the pool was not open due to lack of safety inspection, I choose this hotel for the outdoor pool. Staff were not the most supportive.

Love the little nooks where we saw two little kids watching TV, the bar area was very nice, a great breakfast was included with the options to use real plates or paper…. We would definitely stay here again! And no other hotel this road trip has been able to measure up!

Loved the arrangement of the room with the bed separated by a partial wall from a sitting area with a couch. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was adequate having hot options such as French toast bacon and scrambled eggs as well as fruit, yogurt, and juices. Coffee was good.

Great hotel! We needed a quick stop over on the way home from the Carolina coast. After a long day I went down to the bar for the final game of the NBA Championships. Had a great conversation with the guy working the desk.

We stayed at a different hotel, different state last year-same chain-twice and both times, left earlier than intended because it was like sitting and sleeping on concrete. Services were not impressive. Every part of our stay was comfortable, relaxing and even the staff were always inviting. Highly recommend!

Looked clean on line .. was dirty , broken glass in elevator, toothpaste on wall in bathroom , broken light shades, hair in bathroom. Dog howling, drunk man wondering halls. Literally they have ONE person working the entire hotel, she was very sweet, she makes drinks, serves food and checks you in. I left the hotel and hotels.com will not refund me .

The rooms were spacious, service excellent, great bfast. And the little town of southern village is lovely. A really nice walking trail/path for those who like to run/walk is there for all to enjoy. Just take the path on the backside of the hotel (3rd floor) to enter the town.

This was my 3rd repeated visit to this property. It's location, cleanliness, adequate parking space and friendly staff has all contributed to my decision to come back again. Very clean rooms, enough room for our medium sized family (2 adults and 4 kids) with the two queens and pullout couch. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Awesome restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Was a pleasure staying here on our way to our vacation.

Very conveniently located near the UNC campus and close to the highways. Very well maintained facility. Breakfast selections are ok and friendly staff makes everything easier. There's ev charging available too.

My husband and I stayed for one night to get some rest since we had a long travel. The staff was very nice but as soon as we walked into the building it had an odd smell as if it was humid. We stayed on the third floor. The bed was not comfortable at all nor the pillows and it felt as if the AC did not work in the room. We brought the temperature down to the coolest and we still were hot. The room had just a musky humid odor to it that as clean as it looked, it still did not feel comfortable. It felt as if the AC filters have not been changed for a long time or the system needs to be serviced. I know I sound ridiculous 😂 but the room truly did not feel comfortable and just muggy so needless to say, we did not get the rest we hoped to continue on our travels but we checked out the next morning and if I need to get some rest, I will sleep better in my pickup truck. Once again, clean and great night staff but the bed was uncomfortable and the AC was just not working right. We both left with our noses stuffy.

We always stay here when we visit chapel hill. It’s a very good hotel with a great staff. I think breakfast should be served until 10 on weekdays as well as the weekends. Everything else is cool. Zero complaints about anything else.

My 2 sons and I were in town for the UNC/NC STATE basketball game (GO HEELS!). Located 10 minutes from the Smith Center and with the snow storm timing, it was perfect! Very comfortable beds-including the sleeper sofa, outstanding shower and great climate control
