I had the best encounter I’ve EVER had with ANY hotel staff at this hotel. LOVE LOVE LOVED them! And the room was great!

The rooms are definitely outdated. Expedia, truly needs to evaluate hotels before allowing guest to reserve rooms. The location was an hour away from where I needed to be, therefore, very disappointed with the trip as it was impossible to reach Expedia, in order to change/cancel reservation for a closer stay.

The hotel was overall pretty awesome. The room was a bit outdated and the bathroom had a smell but it wasnt too bad.I would definitely stay again. The people were great. The place was mostly clean. The night shades on the windows were great. The tv worked. The pool was perfect. The bar in the lobby is excellent.

Front desk was nice and polite. Upgraded me to a suite for free since I was staying for a week. Really kind of them. However, room was dirty with spiders and a two cockroaches. I figured since I’m on the first floor, they get in through the door/windows. Room was very humid, no ventilation for shower and AC had a mold smell. Half way through my stay, housekeeping came and I don’t know what happened, but woke up with painful and itchy bug bites on both legs, arms and one hand. Really considered staying at a different place, but toughed it out one more night and then decided to check out a night early. Glad other people had nice experiences, but I won’t be returning or recommending staying here.

The staff was amazing, especially the manager. He was so kind and upgraded our room for free. I will be returning. This is an amazing experience.

Great place to stay for a few days. The staff is incredible. The place is going through renovations but still being maintained well. Bed was comfortable, air was blowing cold, Shower gets hot and steamy, and very quiet. No complaints. Would stay again even if solo.

Their lunch / dinner menu is to be taken serious. That food is really tasty with prices tgat isn't be beat. The addition of a small bar with billiards and darts was very nice and made our 2 evenings alot better.

friendly staff I encountered when checking in and it’s was fast & easy. Breakfast buffet was delicious you can make your own waffle. They have restaurant located by the front desk which is convenient. There’s a playground, outdoor pool, pinic area unfortunately we didn’t get used because of the weather. Mike the general manager made sure my family had everything we needed during our stay. We will definitely stay again!

The breakfast was hot, the staff was extremely friendly, parking was at the hotel, and our room was very clean. We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights. We noticed the staff continued to clean the entire facility including mopping the driveway entrance. If you needed something and they were able to assist you, they did. We were very impressed.

This property has been recently renovated and they’ve done it right! The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast bar was impressive. We were amazed at how low the price was plus they gave us a complimentary upgrade!

Breakfast had great variety. The staff was beyond friendly. There is a train near by if you have sensitive sleepers. All in all a great stay!

We didn’t stay and lost the money for the two nights I paid for. I wasn’t comfortable even sitting down anywhere. It was nothing like the description and felt dangerous. I has to be the worst place I have ever reserved!!!! Do not stay here!!! Disgusting and Unsafe!!!

This was one of the best value hotels I’ve stayed at, with a very helpful staff and plenty of amenities. With a pool, breakfast and parking included, it was a great bang for your buck. There seemed to be some minor aesthetic flaws with the rooms, with a dent here and there and some places being a little worn, but everything functioned perfectly. Loved my stay!

The room, although it seemed dated, was very comfortable and the in room A/C worked very well keeping me comfortable both day and night. The WiFi was easy to sign in on, and was easily to stay connected to. The provided continental breakfast was outstanding. The sink plug in the lavatory did not work very well, as a matter of fact, the arm which controlled the plug came off during the use of the sink.

Then saw her in the parking lot approaching every man that came out of rooms or drove up in cars. I’m pretty sure I know what the situation was with that. There were men all over the parking lot walking around shirtless. There were two vehicles parked backed up facing the hotel itself. One had a male and female in it who appeared to be staring at everyone that was driving into the parking lot. The other had a female in it just sitting. We ended up cutting our loss and losing what we paid and not Even staying the night because we were so uncomfortable with the place. We did go into the room just to see what it was like and it had a musty, mildew smell. The front desk clerk was extremely nice though. But…. Never again.

Convenient location and comfortable bed with good breakfast choices. Unfortunately, the facility is in need of repairs and updating. The room appeared clean, but our socks were black from the floors. Walls are paper thin and they issue you the tv remote with your room key, which I found quite odd.

Had much difficulty finding the hotel. My GPS couldn't do it. Eventually I "guessed" right and was able to locate it.

The location is not pleasant, but that is not the hotel's fault. The hotel is actually very high quality compared to other similar hotels very close by.

The room was clean. They provided everything we needed. But what was outstanding was the reception staff. Very personable. Explained everything. And even the breakfast was excellent. It wasn't just a simple continental breakfast, they had hot food also. Texas waffles!

All of it.. staff was fantastic, Mike the GM was awesome. All staff members were pleasant and very accommodating. Breakfast was better than the Hampton less the fresh fruit, but I would recommend this place to anyone. There is also a bar with food and pool tables on site.

The room was clean, with a full sized bath/shower. Air conditioner, and tv. Bed was super comfy as well. There’s a coin-op laundry facility, a snack bar at the front desk, and the breakfast was amazing! Scrambled eggs, sausage, grits/oatmeal, grill your own Texas-themed waffles, breads, and various drinks. Lot’s of space for dining as well. Very nice atmosphere, and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. It’s close to a highway, so you might need your own car, or a rental car to go places - depending on your travel style; but I had no issues having various UberEats deliveries there. I travel full time, and I think this place was an amazing value. I think the price is lower because it’s a bit out of the way - but because it’s right next to the highway, you can get anywhere pretty quick in your own car, or an Uber. Check-in was quick and easy, and the snack-bar fairly priced. I was there in late-fall, but I think this place would be really nice in the spring and summer too! Upon arrival the clerk took my ID and said they were in shift change and another clerk would assist me. She then disappeared, with no employee in sight. After 10 minutes she walked out of the hotel. 20 minutes later and after ringing the buzzer repeatedly someone xame out to check us in. Rooms have no phones and tissue dispensers in the bathroom with no tissues. Flimsy shower head dangling from the wall, taking a shower was a challenge. A/C would turn off unless it stayed at the lowest setting (61°F). Had to drive back to the front desk to get a remote for the TV. The TV was a Roku Smart TV with just 2 or 3 local channels and everything else was apps you had to pay to view. Uncomfortable surroundings. On our last night a character diagonally taking up 2 parking spaces with a pickup was working on a dismantled old motorcycle at 1AM in front of our room. The only 2 good things about the place was a very comfortable bed and good buffet full breakfast. Room had iron, ironing board, and hair blowdryer but no safe. Will not return to this place.

How are you going to tell your guest that have been staying at the hotel for 4 nights on the 5 day they have to leave because they are over nooked and they have new guest coming in. Now i work in the hotel's and from my experience we have always had to find a different place for the new guest that are coming in if we were over booked not tell the guest that are already in a room to pack all there stuff and get out. Well thats just what this place did to me and three other rooms that were in my party staying there.

There were mites in the bed and I got bitten a lot.

First off, I would avoid this hotel. It’s in a sketchy area and there’s nothing close in terms of good food places or anything other than industrial facilities. Secondly, this is a very old property that needs a lot of work. Plumbing doesn’t work properly (I had to remove toilet cover to get it to flush and sink wouldn’t shut off). Room was moderately clean but not clean by any standard. Pubic hair in the fridge and the floor was filthy. The bed was reasonably comfy and clean and I didn’t see bed bugs, which actually surprised me. The clientele are sketchy - dealing dope and smoking dope. Some noise during certain nights with horn honking and yelling in parking lot. Not sure if they were guests or just people hanging out. I would also avoid all food at this place. They are clearly cutting back and free breakfast is bare minimum. Toast with no butter, a waffle and disgusting eggs or sausage and cereal. Coffee is awful and watered down. The bar is a joke. Went for dinner one night and the one employee was a no show. Then I went another night and ordered pizza. It came out, in a box, haphazardly cut up and shoved in the box. The next day, the pizza came back for an encore and I clearly had food poisoning. Bottom line - not sure how they have any rating in the 4s. Maybe 2 or 2.5. Stay at your own risk. I won’t be back.

The owners were very Nice and made sure we were comfortable our whole stay. We came in for our some regional track meet and the place was family friendly, playground , basketball court, and pool area was amazing!! I definitely would recommend this place! Also housekeeping was very friendly.

They had online Star 8, this i picked this place. They didn't have no breakfast offer, TV didn't work, plugs was coming out the walls, and one place to charge a phone.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I definitely would recommend this establishment especially with children. Thank you for your services.

Looks can be deceiving. Pulling up and seeing the outside made me question my stay but the room, service and convenience made it better. Having security was added bonus even though didn’t feel needed.

The GM is very over bearing to the point of being uncomfortable. I checked in I went to my first room it was dirty I took a video I showed him he told me there was no other room but they was going to give me someone else's reservation as if I should be thankful second room didn't have a smart TV that was one of the reasons. 3rd route was dirty as well very poor housekeeping staff and it's because of the GM himself we will not go back

We drove in from Louisiana for an appointment the next morning on the west side of Houston -- I-10 the whole way. The hotel is conveniently located for this. It was clean, and the staff was very helpful. We had a free beer at the bar that night and free basic breakfast the next morning. The room was clean with mini fridge and microwave, and the TV had a tremendous selection of programming. The motel itself shows its age, but we don't mind and it was perfect for our trip.

Everything about this trip was great from beginning til end. A great, attentive staff, who were always concerned about my stay being great. They treated me as if i was royalty. It has been a long time since i had great, quality service loke this. I really appreciate the entire staff for their caring, concern and service that this facility gives. Thank you fro the bottom of my heart for a awesome stay at Green Tree Hotel and extended stay.

Room had fresh sheets, but housekeeping should have swept the floor. For the price was just fine. It Included a breakfast buffet with limited items but was sufficient. Manager was very attentive and tried to be helpful in any way. The only thing i would say is they should have some water available with the breakfast. I am diabetic and had no option for a drink as i so not drink coffee and the other drinks were all with sugar.

I'm sure there are nicer hotels in the Houston area, certainly more fancy. But you won't beat the price on this one, nor the convenience if you're simply needing a stay close to Interstate access.

The manager was so nice. Im working nights and need to sleepy during the day, and he put me in the quietest room they had and i slept so good. Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and also affordable. 10/10 will stay again.

My room was comfortable, with a large bed and fresh linens. The room was clean, and I appreciated the little touches like complimentary bottled water. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the bathroom was stocked with all the necessary amenities. The hotel’s location was perfect for our needs, with easy access to local attractions and restaurants. I didn’t get a chance to use the bar or other facilities, but I did notice they offered two complimentary drinks at the bar and have a pool. Overall, I had a great stay for the price, and I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient place for a short stay.

Thank you to Mike and his staff for being so friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded when we arrived (at no extra charge) and given a free bevvie at the lounge. The staff went over and above to ensure all of our needs were met and ensured we were totally satisfied. We loved that we could park right outside our room to unload our luggage. The attached bar and restaurant were very handy to have after driving all day. Smoking was allowed in the lounge and we didn't want to eat there because we are nonsmokers so Mike and his staff gave us permission to order food and eat at the restaurant which was closed for the night. The reviews said that the breakfast would be fantastic but unfortunately the power was off in the hotel and area so we didn't get a chance to eat breakfast before we had to leave. We did run into Mike as we were loading up to leave and he was so apologetic that the power was off and he wanted to make sure the next time we stayed, that we would be taken care of. We highly recommend this hotel if you are in the Houston area. Great value and the staff was exceptional. Thanks to Mike and his staff.

Stayed at this place for a business trip to Houston area. Room was dirty with sticky floors strong smoke smell. People in parking lot listening loud music and drinking in the evenings (construction workers staying at hotel) Breakfast is limited with some scrambled eggs sausage, and toast like I said limited options no fruits or anything else you can’t take any food to your room not even a toast. Host in breakfast area big time rude the cook is nice very helpful if you need napkins or a plastic fork because everything is limited sometimes ( some mornings) there is no plastic forks or enough napkins you have to request one or two to the rudest hostess in my stay I tried not to ask the hostess for anything I asked the cook for any extra hot sauce or ketchup because like I said everything is limited while I said limited I mean it. My suggestion if you want to have a decent breakfast go elsewhere to eat. Breakfast is included in rental but is complementary so the hostess will treat you as if she’s giving you free food. I was there just drinking my coffee and observing how she was treating most of guests she only treats a couple of guys nicely I believe they live or stay there often because she was calling them by there names. Overall if you want to have a better stay go elsewhere as I’m going to do in my next business trip to Houston.

Overall, this hotel stay was very pleasant. The area was very well kept and looked nice at all times. The King Bed room was nice and I had no issues at all. Overall, I will definitely stay here again my next trip to the Channelview area.

It is nice and quiet. Room was comfortable. Plenty of amenities you have microwave, fridge, iron and ironing board in room. Plenty of space for your suitcases. There's a pool, basketball court, bar pool table, and a place for your furry family members. No ending or soda machines, but there is a little store at the front desk to get those items plus anything you might have forgot at home as well. There is a Walmart within 6min, a Golden Coral, and other restaurants between 1 to 3miles away. My wife loved it and wants to come back and stay again. That says a lot because she is picky when it comes to hotel stays. They do have breakfast as well, room service and restaurant on site. Can't review the food have not eaten there yet. Will be eating breakfast in the morning.
