It was under renovation and smelled bad made my kids cough, they said I could get a refund the immediately stopped responding.

Room stink a lot, I didn’t get the room I requested the elevator broke, a guy was screaming in the hall all night and try to get into the rooms and knocking at the doors

No breakfast, elevator wasn’t working and then we got charged 4 times

Mattress was moldy and very stained, elevators didn’t work we had to walk up 3 flights of stairs when asked if they can change sheets or bring up clean sheets they said we had to go down to get them not a good experience

We arrived to a third floor room with no functuoning elevator. We climbed the stairs 3 separate times with keys that did not work on the room were were assigned. Once in a room, there were things left over from the previous guests including a false eye lash, a used bandaid, and tattoo gel under the AC unit. We then discovered there was no breakfast buffet which was im the listing when we called to see when it opened. This is a considerable cost as we are a family of 6 and now had to buy breakfast. There were also issues with spotty hot water for showers and only 2 towels for a room for 6 people. There was also not a person available at the counter and we had to yell to the back to get the attention of the woman working the counter who was blaring music or on her cell phone. Overall bad experience for a chain we usually have good stays with.

We came in to stay 3 days. And only stayed 1 could handle the smell in the room. The hotel looks nothing like on the pictures the walls are all scrashed up. The sofas in our room are very dirty with stains. The par The receptionist couldn't give me a check out recipient, she said the printer was not working been calling management to get a refund and I have not been avel to talk to them.

Very disappointed with expedia! who took over 3 hours to "resolve " my issue, by providing me with this location as an option. Don't go here

Well for starters the elevators weren't working, and I have bad knees, but that was fine. They didn't have a working ice machine. However the most disappointing thing was waking up and going downstairs with my children for breakfast. And there was no breakfast as advertised. My family stayed there several nights. They had to ask constantly for the room to be cleaned, clean linens and towels,and the trash to be taken out of the room. The cleaning staff there refused to clean the room i am very disappointed to have paid money to stay there but the room service was awful!

The location was unsafe. I genuinely feared for my safety while there and rushed to get out. They also did not have breakfast, it smelled everywhere, and heard police sirens most of the night.

Always a great experience staying here.

They did not have my requested room available, front desk agent ( Penelope", stated that " their are no more rooms with a kitchenette...oh wait i have one, but it doesnt have pillows...i can get them. I told her ok. She took me to my room on the 4th floor...the room looked condemned. Nothi in it. No bed coverings, no toilets, no towels, no wash clothes, and no utensils in the kitchen...nothing but the mattress and bed frame. She went forward yo sau she will return with towels, wash clothes, and bed linen. She returned with 2 towels and a mattress pad. Left to go get linen. Never returned.45 minutes later, my and my man packed the suit cases back on the troll and went to the front desk only to see Penelope setting with her feet propted up, shoes off with a pitcher of lemonade talking on her cell phone. I adked what hell and she explained that she wasnt housekeeping and couldnt make the bed. I asked for a refund and a down grade on the room due to the fact that ey coul

Lady at the front desk (I believe her name is Penelope with long red hair) is always so sweet and takes care of the property very well. I feel safe when she is here.

The front desk worker Penelope was amazing and very helpful. We needed a room change due to the original room being unclean and she was very accomadating. The hotel itself was not very clean carpets very stained, floor was sticky elevator needed to be cleaned. Our first room was dusty, sheets appeared to have blood on them, had an odor and needed to be vacuumed. Our second room was slightly better but it did have sticky residue on the walls and crumbs on the floor and the fridge needed to be cleaned. This hotel needs to order new towels as everyone we got was stained, we went to Walmart and bought our own. The price was very good which is why we got it and stayed. We were in town for a funeral and didnt have time to find something else in our budget. I personally wouldnt stay there again and cant recommend it to anyone. Only things decent were the price and the one worker they had there.

There was no breakfast. Couldn’t get the remote to work went to front desk. The lady at the front told me they didn’t have anymore and she didn’t know how to fix it. Pool ladder fell apart as son climbed up it. Oh and the railing for the stairs is missing coming into the pool

Not enough key cards. No towels No breakfast Elevator won't stop at your floor. Toilet clogged need to change room. Not enough water pressure at the shower. Sofa stained and smell like pee. The few towels that we got were stained. Pillows smelly. In general Hotel need a lot of update and maintenance.

Let me say this place needs to be shut down, close and demolished. There were no amenities at all. When I say none, no breakfast, no washer nor dryer, hell there was no ice machine. The place was dirty. The carpet in the room was damaged and dirty, kept my shoes on at all times. Elevator was iffy it stopped while going up. If you were not back by 11:00pm you were locked out of the hotel. There was a hand written note that said called this number once the doors were closed and locked. The person at the front desk was always gone with a sign that said be back in 20 minutes. The TV remote had no batteries. The wifi would go in and out. You could not use it after midnight. The room didn't smell, low pressure on the water that did not get hot. If you took a shower at night there was no hot water. Everyone had used it all up. I had 3 visitors, (roaches). I didn't invite them in, but I did introduce them to the toilet. To advertise as a non smoking hotel on Friday and Saturday you can smell cigarettes and pop smoke when you got off the elevator. You can stay here at your own wrist.

Upon entering there was a roach on the dresser. One small towel and one large towel. Went down to the desk Anna asked for more towels only to be given another large towel and a bath mat. The toilet would not flush or even fill with water. Other than that the bed and pillows were really comfortable but had a few stands on the comforter.

The bed and iron board were the only amenities they had. We booked this hotel because it advertised as a buffet breakfast and it was convenient since we were traveling with 3 kiddos and upon check in we were informed they stopped serving breakfast last week, would have been nice to know beforehand. The room we got was a suite it was big but it was in bad condition, the couch had rips and tears in it and the walls looked like they needed work. Later in the day our toilet got clogged (must have been by a previous guest because we had issues with it on the first flush) my husband went downstairs and was told they didn’t have maintenance and the lady at the front desk told my husband that he needed to unclog it himself then she told him she would come up to do it for us, that never happened we had to go downstairs to use the bathroom before going out to town. While we were away my husband called up there to see if they fixed it or if they could change our room, we were told they would take care of it, 5 mins later we get a call that it’s fixed not sure why it took them that long to get to it honestly. Also, the whole lobby area is hot and humid, the ice machines do not work and the gym isn’t even a gym. I would never stay here again

Nothing good about this hotel, it shows false advertisement saying they offer breakfast and their elevators were broken. Couldn't accommodate a wheel chair, plus they refuse to give me a refund.

My family needed to get ready for a wedding and there was no towels. The hotel wanted to move me to anither room ut it was notnuceand the shower had mold in it. I stayed at the room while they went to the weddingand had to fight the roaches. Ladies walking around downstairs selling themselves. When my family got back checked iut the hoteland left. I dont know if other Comfort Suites are this nasty but i would not recommend this one to someone I dont like.

I would not recommend this property, after making complaints and reaching out to manager, to resolve the issue, he told me he would call me back in a couple hours and it’s been a couple days and he hasn’t reached back out to me and not answering calls at the property.

The place is very comfortable and convenient to locations. The staff is always helpful. Sometimes like last night a guest was unruly and cops had to be called. People who are not employees sit behind the front desk. The young employees smell like Marijuana but the older employee is awesome. She is professional and keeps the motel safe. I forgot her name.

We were in 410 and 412. A/c in 410 barley worked, a/c 412 didnt work. Towels look 15 years old. Parking lot was full of litter. The people working there were nice, but who ever is the manager should be replaced. No ice machine???Really? This was probably a nice place in the past but its pretty bad, no very bad now! I could go on............

This property was low budget..the rooms was okay but the halls the elevators all stunk really bad and the breakfast they serve is served in such a nasty unsafe unsanitary way.Oh and no one is rarely at the desk to services and the towels and shower curtains needs to be replaced!

My choice for this hotel was that it offered 2 queen beds and sofa bed, which with kids was great. The price was great, but I guess the saying, " you get what you paid for" is so true. Staff was so nice and they can only offer what they have at hand, if corporate doesn't fix the issues with hotel, staff can only apologize for the situation. Our room was good, but the unknown red stain on carpet was a bit scary, the low pressure of water, the very slippery shower and a short curtain that was not long enough and only 1 set of towels for a family of four was not good. Breakfast was the same everyday and one day no syrup for waffles staff said they were looking for money to send for some. Really this is not acceptable with a hotel full of guests. The pool are was not acceptable especially with shady people sitting outside of hotel around pool at all times and a back door that is left open with a rock. The whole entry to this hotel was hot and musty, the front door was broken and left open all day. Every hallway there was trash at elevators and the floors/carpets looked so dirty. The second morning the hallways reeked of marijuana it's was so sicking to stomach and with a family with kids this is not acceptable. Once again staff was so nice and working hard to deal with amenities that they can't fix and that will need to be fixed by corporate maybe corporate needs to come stay a couple of days at their own hotel.

On arrival,my double bed with sofa that I had reserved was not available til the second night,and was not even offered two rooms to make up for the two beds,couch I had paid for.Pool was half full with green water which was one of the reasons I had booked it since I had planned pooltime with my kids.The matress on the sofabed was paper thin as if sleeping on springs and was flithy with no sheets.The counter girl came out half asleep barefoot from back room not understanding I needed sheets and key she had given me would not open the door.On other hand Penelope the counter person from second day did all she could to accomadate us on the second day to get us the room we had reserved.But pool was never in condition to get into.

The shower had mold/mildew all around the bottom to the point where I felt dirtier after taking a shower… The bed was wrinkled so bad that it looked like someone had just grabbed wadded up sheets and comforter and made the bed with them. Pillow cases had stains on them as well as bed sheets. In room couch was absolutely filthy and disgusting as well. Save your time and money and keep driving to stay somewhere else!

There were no toiletries avaliable in the room. Hot water did not get fully hot The room furniture was outdated, sofa had a tear in it. Trash can outside of the elevator was overflowing with trash. Front desk was not consistently manned. Security gate was broken. Would not recommend staying at this hotel. Sorely in need of a remodel with better staffing.

There was a hole in the ceiling the sheets had make up And hair. The towels were dirty. The place was musty ,walls had touchups of paint and the carpets were extremely dirty. There was a hole on the ceiling with mold and mildew around it. The nightlight by the bed was broken in half.

Terrible i had no TV the first night. It was mold in the bathroon hair on the floor. I feel like i deserve some kind of credit or refund for the inconvenience. Two outta the four staff menbers was helpful the other 2 was horrible.

They couldnt find our reservation and told us they were all sold out, then somehow found it. When we entered the room there was a nice size blood stain on the carpet as soon as you walk in. Blood on the comforter and wall. Looked like some type wing sauce on the ice bucket. We had 4 people in our room but could only get 2 sets of towels and if we needed extra we had to exchange the used ones, which meant going back and forth. The room door couldn’t open all the way because of the foundation. Towels were old and stained. The shower heads didn’t work, barely any water came out. The power went out so the doors to get in and out didn’t work the whole weekend. The elevator didn’t work.

I reserved a wheelchair friendly room and it was not available, also the breakfast options where very limited. Ther were no fresh fruits or yogurts.

We did not like anything! Thr Beds were dirty..We found hairs! Had no pillows only 1...when we specified we were 5. When we went to ask the front desk lady she said none where available. And when we asked for bedsheets she just went to a back.room and we saw her get them out of a basket...we were scared to use them they looked dirty. It's an endless list!

Desk attendant didnt know how to check in someone with a 3rd party. Room had a unpleasant smell. No cups in the room. I was given the wrong room at first and had to go back down to front desk to get the correct one. All this took forever.

Nothing Not clean at all, from the beds to the walls, any counters and bathrooms . No staff was helpful. When they finally changed us rooms after showing them pictures and the bedding they said we had to leave them a good review in return.

I was at the location off Sheldon rd and i10 frwy. From the photos it look nice, and the out side looks nice. But once you get to the room it’s horrible. My remote did not work the who time I was here. The refrigerator needed repair and no one ever came to fix. They argue with you when you need more towels. Like I want to steal those cheap towels. The breakfast was okay but I have had better. The water pressure was very low.. And the laundry room was out of service the whole stay of 12 nights. Then one attendant charged me to wash my clothes and pocketed the money. For the money I paid not impressed and won’t return

Security doors are broken, water is leaking through the stove hood in the kitchenette. There are roaches in the cabinet. The bed is so old it’s like sleeping on concrete. No drinking cups or coffee cups. There is a small coffee pot with no carafe. No utensils, pots or pans. Never again!

Carpets in the room were filthy. My white socks turned black Ac worked well. Beds were comfortable all that matter but won’t stay again

The young Hispanic male who we encountered when we arrived was very helpful and kind. We had a horrible experience at a different Hotel and it almost ruined our trip. This young man helped us and made our vacation much better. Got us a room quickly and genuinely cared that we had a comfortable stay. I will definitely recommend Comfort Suites in Channelview, Tx.

Family stayed here 8 months ago and the transformation is night and day. 8 months ago it was an enjoyable experience, clean, and good commodities. Now it was dirty, smelled of smoke everywhere, and loud obnoxious people. I wouldn’t mind the stay if it was just myself , but for a family I’m going to avoid this property going forward. Needs management that cares about the property, and creates/enforce standards of stay.

The entire downstairs had an overwhelming odor of mold. The elevator had a broken fire access key. Smoking on just about every level. On my level (level 3), someone was smoking marijuana all throughout the night. They must have been smoking in the stairwell because I went down to grab something from my truck and the stairwell was full of smoke. Roaches all along the hallway. No towels in the room. Had to ask for some and still had to wait. Air conditioning would intermittently work even though the thermostat stayed on a specific setting. Sofa in the room had stains and smelled of feces and urine. Office chair was squishy wet. Door latch was missing. Would have switched but hotel (and others) were sold out (not to mention, I got charged an obscene amount+) due to the storms. Security gate was broken, back door to the pool would not secure properly, gym equipment was nearly non existent (looked liked the free weights had been stolen). I will NEVER stay there again and I would not suggest anyone ever do.

The shower was dirty when I arrived. The side doors are propped open with rocks, and lastly the main gate is “closed from 10pm-5am” and I was informed to call the front desk if I arrived after 10pm and no one answered the phone after multiple attempts.

Rooms had not been cleaned. There were lots of hairs on our pillows and the pillows were wadded up cotton balls. Floors had not been vacuumed and bathroom was falling apart. I will not be staying at a comfort suites again and do not recommend thi s hotel.

it was a deception from the time you walk in and the time you walk out.

There are multiple elevator buttons broken. They Changed the codes of doors every day. No towels in the bathroom and when I asked for it they told me they are washing it and come later. When I asked 2nd day for the towels the receptionist asked me to bring the old towels to replace it. Stains on the folding bed and no bedsheet for the folding mattress.

Property sure seems neglected, theres many stuff out of service the elevator is dirty with a broken button the shopping space was no use and the coffee was cold, not many options of breakfast.

My daughter brought me a used syringe she found under the couch cushion. We had 5 people and needed to use the couch bed but I finally had to put 3 kids in 1 bed while attendant looked for extra linens for the couch bed until 10pm (there were supposed to be some in the closet). Brown smears on walls. Shower covered in mold and mildew. Breakfast make your own waffles ran out of syrup by 8 am. Found ice bucket but couldn't find an ice machine and no cups in the room.

Service was good. Had options of food around the hotel and could walk to places. Staff are kind and nice. Very clean hotel. It even has a pool and a washer and dryer machines. I would recommend this hotel to families and friends

The noises allowance was insane. We had a kid screaming in the hallway from 11pm-3am in which I called and complained. The next day there was a baby non stop crying. We left and went to another hotel

The staff was amazing and friendly and helpful. The building had some issues even though it was only 5 years old. Several of the elevator buttons were broken but still functioned. There were cosmetic things that made the place look old and used. One of the lights in the bathroom didn't turn on.
