Great staff, room was nice and there is a but, the tub was dirty and the room smelled like garbage after the second and third day or even like a dead rodent. You could smell it when you returned to the room steer being out all day

The hotel was ok. Staff was very nice. Was not thrilled that they charged parking fees. And their billing system is weird where they charged my credit card in full the night we arrived. I asked what would happen if I had an emergency and had to leave during my stay of 24 nights. I was told I would not be reimbursed in any way.

Location The property was old, rooms outdated bedding was subpar and just overall not what I expect from Marriott Bonvoy! My last day I was there I found a cockroach in my luggage that I left open the night before. I was so disgusted I practically had a panic attack. After I shook out my luggage, I was out of there so fast, I almost forgot to brush my teeth and put deodorant on.

Charging for parking, I get it when a hotel is downtown and parking is very limited, but there is plenty of parking around the hotel. So that feels like a scam.

Although our room was very clean, the room was very beat up with many issues. For example: Kitchenette sink smelled horrible, a shelf and towel bar in the bathroom were barely hanging on the wall, and the closet bi-fold doors were very hard to open and almost impossible to close. On top of that, the only window in the room faced a stucco wall. Staff said this was the only room they had for us. One of the ‘saddest’ rooms we have experienced during our frequent travels.

My only complaint is the smell of one of the two rooms. It smelled like garlic, had hotel maintenance come and take a look while we were gone. Returned back to the room with the windows open and the smell was much better. The weather was perfect so we left windows open the entire stay. I would return back to this same hotel.

The only opportunity for improvement was the King mattress in our room. It was very worn and should be replaced.

The room had an interesting smell from the cleaning fluids that gave me quite a reaction. I had to take allergy medications the whole time and had serious problems my whole vacation. They offered to move me though, but I muddled through. I hope it's a unique to me.

The first room assigned, the AC did not work and had a bad for. It was 82 degrees when we entered. The second room, my mom woke up to bites all over her body. We inspected the roll out bed and noticed big bugs. The third room, our bathroom door would not close all the way.

We got there not long after their check-in after being in 112° weather all day so it was great to cool off. The bed was very comfortable. The road noise was pretty bad outside but the breakfast and coffee were really good in the morning.

The air conditioner was so loud we could barely hear the TV when it was on.

The gym needs upgrade. There was a noise that sounds like an AC from outside, not the one in our unit. It took me a while to fall asleep due to the said noise. Otherwise our stay was okay. I would go back again.

As always, the Residence Inn at Chandler Fashion Center is our go to hotel when we visit Phoenix/Chandler. The staff is exceptional, warm, courteous and always go out of their way to ensure our stay is excellent. Cheryl was great and took care of us during our stay! We love the Residence Inn and we highly recommend it!

The front staff were friendly. The suite with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths was large and had a nice layout. We could hear people above us, which made it difficult to sleep. Pool and hot tub closed too early.

Breakfast great, property facilities pretty good. The hotel is a older but clean. The pull out couch bed is very very uncomfortable, you can feel the springs. Lots of shopping and restaurants walking distance. Parking fee should be included in the price as this hotel is comparable to other hotels in the area and they offer free parking.

The lady that checked me in was great! However later that night the lady at the front desk didn’t have great customer service. I asked for an extra blanket and she told me to go get it at the front desk since I was around the corner. It was late and we were all already in our Jammie’s. For the price of the hotel, I would have thought the customer service and cleanliness of the room would have been better.

I loved the location. However, the finishings in the unit are either old, broken or worn out. The living room tv is smaller than the bedroom, the couch is stained and not like a modern comfy piece like I’d expect. I know I’ve said all this, but I still did enjoy my stay. I’ve paid less to stay at way better suites in LA County.

This is a lovely hotel with wonderful staff and very nice rooms. Every morning a fresh breakfast was laid out with many great options. The location of the hotel is directly across from the beautiful mall and other great stores. The entire facility is clean and has beautiful grounds. I will be staying here again.

Nice front desk staff and decent breakfast. The room needs attention. Multiply towel racks falling off the wall and no covering on electrical box for the stove which left exposed wires my kids could get to.

Staff is friendly and accommodating! Location is good right next to the Chandler Fashion Center and lots of restaurant options & freeway nearby. Surprisingly, there is not a lot of road noise from the freeway. I like the apartment style units with a full kitchen. The breakfast has a very nice variety of options including eggs, sausage and waffles Etc. Hidden charges like $15 per night for parking. The rooms are fairly clean but getting a little run down. Smudges on the walls, apparent blood stains on curtains, etc. Non-working phone and remote. The bedroom is very tight, there is barely enough room to walk around the bed.

As always, Lisa and the rest of the Residence Inn staff were great! It's a great property and our first choice when visiting Phoenix and the area!

Old rooms not worth the cost. 1st room had a water leak while we were not there. Busted by workers. No phone call or warning when we returned. Went into room carpet soaked fire alarm pulled off and left on bed with dirt. Sprinklers missing molding. Maintenance said he told desk we did not need to move. Smell of glue and wet floors we asked to move. New room holes in carpet right in front of sofa, sink clogged, furniture stained and torn. Floor stained pink. $900 dollars for 3 days us quite a bit for a room this worn and old. I am not happy with the quality of this room at all for what I paid. Pool gate was busted had to stand on a chair to get in. Hot tub was hot but jets did not work.

The room 126 we were in had no view face a cement wall and the the bird droppings which were all over the ground and airconditioner vent,

Nice stay but the room I reserved was double booked they downsize my room but I didn’t receive any of the money back so I don’t really understand that I requested a king suite and I ended up with the studio, so not happy about that at all and didn’t receive any of my money back or anything like that or even a comp stay for that matter

The breakfast every morning was satisfying. Lots of choices, which made everyone happy. The coffee brand could use improvement. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We were always greeted with a smile. The staff seem to enjoy working together and deserve recognition for bringing a positive attitude to work with them everyday. The entire property is well maintained. Very clean and easy to navigate. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit.

Loved our two suite room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Great location to lots of food and fun. Service staff might want to pay attention to under the toilet bowl rim, it was nasty. Only complaint. Everything else was great!🙂

The hotel was very clen and the grounds were well maintained. The staff was super friendly and professional. The breakfast was great many options to choose from. Everything was clean and well stocked. A beautiful dining and sitting area. Whenever I visit again this will be my go-to hotel. I was so pleased with my stay here. The pictures you see online is the same as you will see at the hotel. So beautiful. You will enjoy your visit here.

Overall, the facility is great ... just needing attention to little things (i.e., kitchenette sink link, toilet roll holder loose, slow shower drain) that would make it excellent. The staff is CRAZY nice, friendly, and helpful! The pool is well-maintained. The breakfast is delish!

Lovely hotel, with good amenities and pool, well situated, with lots of restaurants in easy reach.

I would recommend at minimum, every other day maid service in the rooms. Residence inn is too reputable to provide it less often than that.

Laundry room was a huge plus.
