Remodeling going on should make that known prior to booking very dusty and rooms were somewhat finished. Rooms should be discounted during a remodel

I have stayed here several times before it was fine. But will not be staying here again.

You never told me that I was booking a hotel with 2 of the 4 floor under remodel. They told me you guys never communicate. I have booked a lot from you and this was a terrible experience. Bad enough for me not to use you again when I finish with my current bookings through you. By the way when my tv didn’t work they told me I could check out and find another hotel.

needs a renovation. Room rugs had stains, ceiling had a hole that wasn't finished.

The property was under construction a lot of noise-this bugs did not from water being shut down. Dust everywhere from chipping up old tile- and I paid full price to stay there.if I had known about the construction I would have found some where else to stay.

They are remodeling, so there is a lot of dust, and the rooms smell musty.

When I called to see what the hotel would do as a result of the noise, limited elevator access etc, the attendant said all they would do is cancel my reservation! Not even one hint of apology! My friend who lives there and recommended the property said he will not let any visitors stay there again. I have complained via the surveys you provided and no response from there either!

Construction thru out the hotel. Bedroom shower constant drip, air condition rattled all night . Beds were comfy .

The lobby and first floor were in the midst of having a new tile floor installed. As the tile was being cut, there was dust and some noise. The room we had on the third floor was very nice, both clean and quiet.

Breakfast was decent but the dishes and table were covered in dust. Our room had dust, the elevator and walking paths were layered throughout the hotel with dust. The contractor on site failed to sweep or vacuum. I almost feel like it was a violation for the hotel not having the property cleaned up ICRA..... the dust was bad im glad we only stayed one night.

The staff were thoughtful, responsive and very pleasant. In spite of the Hotel being updated, the area was very well maintained. We would stay again. Thank you all.

We had to get linens from the front desk for the sofa bed. None available in the room.there was not a mattress cover. The sofa bed needs to be replaced. So uncomfortable! The pool area was very nice as well the breakfast area. We have friends to visit in the area, and will not be staying at this establishment again. For the price paid, I would expect more.

Actually did not stay at the Holiday Inn Phoenix-Chandler. We booked and when we showed up to check in they did not have the room we booked and paid for. The person at the desk informed us that although we had booked a double, we could have a king bed. Being unwilling to sleep with 4 people in one bed, we left and went elsewhere, after the desk clerk acted like it was difficult to cancel the reservation when they did not have the room they advertised. Very unhappy with the experience we had at Holiday Inn Phoenix-Chandler.

The hotel does not look as it was presented online. When we get there it was under construction and the room is pretty small without any leg room if there is any it's very inconvenient and very poor setting. No couch no tables at all. Overall It needs an upgrade.

There was construction going on in the room next to us at seven in the morning. We stepped out to get something from my vehicle and when we came back inside housekeeping was already inside our room at around 8:15 without being asked not a place to sleep comfortable. Especially when you’re allowed to have your kids

Two of the day/nights there was the smell of a sewer or some kind of stink that permeated the whole floor. They actually had to put out some industrial fans to move the air on the floor. The hot tub was out of service 2 of the 4 nights we were there. The front desk staff had not ETA for repair. When it did finally work the temperature was tepid. Very disappointing as it was an amenity that was highlighted on their website. Next are the two fees that are not clearly listed through expedia. The hotel charges $12 a night for parking which is strange as the location is in an industrial area where parking isn't an issue, it appears to be a revenue stream to me. Then the breakfast. $16.99 for a standard hotel breakfast, which if you stay at a holiday inn express, you get for free. I would not recommend this hotel, there are much nicer options at this price point in the chandler/phoenix area that include breakfast, parking, and have working amenities.

Location, I have stayed here before but it seems to be going in the wrong direction Staff, front desk gal had zero concern on what happened, I woke up with bug bites. I was very discreet, made sure no one could hear except her, and she did not have a care for what happened at all. I have never asked for a refund but I should be reimbursed 100%

Staff welcoming you to Holiday Inn was excellent.. Catherine was on duty. We had booked for 4 days & feel the room was comfortable. Room staff didn't replace some of the room supplies. When we asked for them they were brought to our room. Appreciate their quick response. Would have liked to have washcloths that weren't so thin. I do recommend Holiday Inn & would stay there in the future when I return to the Chandler area.

Charging for every little thing on top of property fees, high sales tax, parking, breakfast gets to the point it ain't worth staying at Hotels.

Amenities were not good no food restaurant and bar closed. Had to use card to buy anything no cash accepted. Had places near by but no menus or info about options to ear. $12 parking outrageous.

No more bar, which we really enjoyed previous stays. That breakfast should be complimentary. Had to pay for parking, which is ridiculous at a Holiday Inn. Dog hair all over the carpet and we didn't have a dog. The hotel had a terrible sewage smell and there was never any coffee available downstairs. This place has gone downhill. The only positive was that the staff was friendly. Unfortunately we won't be back.

The room was clean, it was nice that it had a Keurig and refrigerator in the room and it was in a great location for the area that we spent our time while in Arizona. Our biggest complaint was that they charge $12 to park in their lot even though you are paying to stay in their hotel! It’s not like this is a destination resort, it doesn’t have fabulous amenities, there is no complementary breakfast.

The check in was easy. Staff was nice. The room was clean but there was a bad smell that I could smell from the hallways but it was worse in the room. Kind of smelt like old cigarettes. It wasn’t a smoking room. Do those even exist anymore? Anyway, breakfast option were really nice in the morning. Wish they didn’t charge for parking though.

Room was nice but the carpet felt a little moist but I think that was from the AC that was blasting. In regards to the bathroom; there was water damage to the wall next to the tub and next to the toilet. On the bright side the bed was comfortable, we had a nice breakfast and we have no complaints.

Bed was comfortable, front desk check in was friendly and efficient. $12 per day parking fee is INSANE for this location. The parking lot was empty the entire time I was there. The hotel is in Chandler- the land of strip malls - nothing but concrete and parking lots for miles. It is such an obvious cash grab that it soured my whole stay. The hotel is fine. A little dated and dingy but fine. But I will not be back, mostly because of the parking fee. So hopefully my one time parking fee was worth losing future business over. Sounds petty, but when I return to the area I will stay at a nearby hotel that does not charge for parking.

It’s very convenient to Sun Lakes where my mom lives. There are food options within walking distance. I didn’t like that parking wasn’t free. Staff was excellent.

I LOVED this property! I would definitely return. The staff was friendly. The room was nice. The pool was nice. The convenience was THERE! It was close to a lot of restaurants. The only thing I didn't like was the parking. You had to put a parkings pass in your window and I think there was an additional fee. Even the Breakfast was nice and tasty with real bacon!

I’m a frequent guest here and have always been treated very well. I was hit with an unexpected charge of $500 (which was 5x the nightly rate) for smoking in the room which I dispute.

The staff was friendly and did their best with what they had. The Air Conditioner did not work well and our room stayed about 76 degrees and the staff even swapped our rooms and the next room was the same way. The bed was not comfortable at all.

They charge you for everything at ridiculous prices like for instance $12 parking per a night $3 for 2 bounce dryer sheets and there washer and dryer charged an 8.50 temporary holding fee plus the 2.50 to wash or dry they charge for breakfast not worth it

It was quiet and nice but the tub had an serious drip and they had me wait for my room out in the pool area when it was 111 degrees.

The first room I was put into was never cleaned after the last occupant. Also, charging for parking in the middle of a suburb with plenty of parking is just a money grab.

My stay at the hotel was wonderful, the receptionist was so sweet and welcoming,i will definately be there again, over and over.

Nobody told me I was going to pay for parking I did not pay for parking even in Vegas plus that should be advertised when reservations are made so that you have a choice of looking for another place if you don’t like to pay for parking

Added charge for parking, didnt know until check in. This is just petty and it will definitely be a factor in my decision for future hotel needs. Otherwise the stay was fine.

The hotel was very nice, quiet and room was clean. The only issue we had was the a/c didn't seem right. We turned it down but it seemed that the room didn't cool down as much as we would have liked. It turned off before the desired temp. The pool area was nice and clean .The location was ideal for us and convenient for restaurants and the Dr's office we were in town for.

Was sad to see the bar and grill was no longer being used.

The staff was not the friendliest. Arrived at 2:50 pm. and was told to check in at 3 pm. Parking was an additional $12 per night. Breakfast was a very basic continental and not worth the $16 per person. The fact that whatever they stamp the toilet paper with to put the logo wet the entire roll of paper which grossed me out because all I could think was that they stamp it with toilet water. The tvs were stuck on the hotel home screen.

Property located in a great area with access to shops and supermarkets. Area is very good for active individuals with walking trails and bike paths.

One of the ladies was kinda rude when we were asking questions about the buffet. So we left and ate elsewhere.

This facility is disgusting!! We were out in a room that we did NOT request, the bar has been closed since November, 2024, which you NEED just to stay at this facility! Went to sit in the jacuzzi & it was filled with mold, algae, amoebas…totally disgusting!!! Staff is clueless! There is clearly no management for this facility! Will never stay at a Holiday Inn again!

When checking in front desk clerk informed us there is a 5.00 per day parking fee.When we checked out that fee turned out to be 12.00 per day .Also when checking in we were informed the restaurant and bar are closed indefinetly.Arriving to our room the sink water faucet blurted out air then began running brown dirty water.I notified front desk and they informed me to let it run for a while to clear up, apparently water system was down.Over priced insult is what I call this place.Surprised Holiday Inn at Ocotillo fell below a Motel 6 standards .I give this Hotel a big thumbs down and a middle finger up.

The staff was so friendly & accommodating. Suite was clean & has a fridge & microwave & plenty of room to relax. Love the Dove products provided. Strip mall across the street for shopping & eating but we tried St A’s across the parking lot & had an awesome meal & drinks!

Front desk lady was too rude. We were waiting for checkin for more than 40 min. Here attitude was obnoxious. Rooms are not as par as other Holiday Inn.

Hotel stay was good. The accessible room we had was the perfect set up. Room and bathroom was clean, bedding was good. Only 2 things I mention for improvement: we showered at various times and each time we showered, all we got was Luke-warm water, no hot water. Also, there was a group of hockey players and their parents in town for a hockey tournament and the children were allowed to run loose all over the property without adult supervision and they were quite loud in the hallway and I had to talk to them each night around 11:00 p.m. The adults in the group were allowed to be very loud in the pool area until 11:00, even though pool hours ended at 10:00, and they were also very loud in the lobby each night.

The stay in a whole was good. I didn’t like the idea of paying for parking every day in a suburban area with lots of area. The staff was friendly especially maintenance. I’m sure because of staffing the restaurant was closed except for breakfast. In other properties like this one is was free. Room was nice and housekeeping was efficient.

Hotel was decent, advertised "breakfast" however the breakfast cost $16, and the check in clerk was super rude rude. Huge turnoff for a $200 room.

The hotel itself is a nice and comforting place. The staff however is not. I couldn’t have my tv above volume 10 without getting a noise complaint. The staff even came and said something to me while smoking outside. Needless to say I got charged with a smoking fee, even though they watched me go outside and smoke every time. There is no way to dispute or fight it, so if they say you were smoking then that’s it! I travel the country year round for work, and have stayed in plenty hotels. I will not be back to this one. I recommend you go somewhere else. Not to mention the manager didn’t help whatsoever. I asked what I can do about this situation, and he basically said nothing.

When I complained about the upgrade to a view of the parking lot, Conner allowed us to switch rooms to a larger balcony and view of the pool. So much better!!!

The bathrooms need updating. Problems with toilet not flushing/draining the first night. Had to call maintenance. The room did not get cleaned on one of the days we stayed.

rooms smelled of feet and corn chips. Property said it had dinning. so i booked with that in mind and that was not the case. breakfast was restaurant style which doesn't work for me. dinner on the other hand was the whole reason i booked this hotel. so, wasn't happy the rooms smelled and there was no food.

This was suppose to have a restaurant on site and for 2 days there was no food - Chef didn't show. I am a Senior citizen and wanted not to leave the hotel for dinner - going out via walking is too dangerious and driving in a strange area is not for me.

Folks were friendly there. Did not appreciate being charged $12 per day for parking in this suburban hotel. Carpet was dirty and had sticky spots in a few areas.

I was not aware of a $12 dollar parking fee per day!! I won't make the same mistake twice!

The only negative thing I would say is that you have to pay for parking and they don’t tell you that when you’re booking online. So I didn’t find out till I was checking in.

Overall stay was good. Friendly front desk personnel. Was told there would be daily room housekeeping. 1st day..nobody. 2nd day, bed made, but garbage left on tables and coffee area. Used (plastic) cups not replaced. Overall good stay, but prob could have been better.

We checked in to our room at 4pm on a Friday. The room did not smell very good when we entered it, but we chose not to complain. We decided to go to the hotel's hot tub that night; however, the hot tub water was very cold as the system that makes the water warm was not functioning. We then decided to head back to our room but our hotel cards kept getting de-maginitized and we had to swap them out a couple of times at the front desk. On Sunday morning right before we checked out, we received a print out that was placed under our hotel room door stating that we were charged $400 for a smoking fee. No one in my family smokes so I spoke with the front desk person about it. They said they did not understand how the system works, but that they would have the general manager contact me regarding that fee. I called the following day to follow up on this unexplained fee, but the manager was not available. I called the next day and spoke with the manager who told me they were going to escalate it to their boss and would have them call me. I followed up the next day and they said they would be calling me and that it would probably be faster if I reported that charge with my bank which seemed a little strange to me since they knew the charge came from the hotel itself. It has been over 2 weeks since this happened and have yet to hear back from the hotel regarding this $400 fee. I was forced to reach out to my bank regarding the fee. I will NEVER return to this hotel. Terrible service.

Wished that the hot tub was hot not cold. After a long day of begging out and about I would've loved to end my days relaxing in the hot tub while the kiddos enjoyed the pool, but it was too cold couldn't even relax in the hot tub.

Was traveling with my family have an infant daughter and the refrigerator that is provided in room was not cold/did not get cold and we needed to store medication. They did end up moving us rooms after complaining but this was hours after checking in and needing to keep medication refrigerated!

This room had 2 queen beds, with a pool view. Checked in late due to a blown out tire and the front desk was excellent and helped us in a stressful situation. Room was super clean and staff were friendly and accommodating. The area is lovely, great scenery and plenty of places to eat around, including a restaurant across the parking lot.

Like so many hotels, the jacuzzi was luke warm. I was told the heater had been out for over a week.

We were in town for our son’s ASU graduation. We needed some place between the venue and family and this location was perfect. It was quiet and clean in a safe neighborhood.

Great staff especially the girl at the restaurant, very friendly and attentive. The hotel was really nice and clean. Will definitely come when in the area.
