Best Western Inn of Chandler

My husband got bitten all over his arms and back by bed bugs. It has been over 10 days and he still can’t get rid of the itch and urge to scratch. He is in pain. He called the hotel directly to let them know about it and got told that they couldn’t do anything because “we had booked the room via Expedia”. This is unacceptable. They have to be held accountable.

It was good...its clean and quiet even though its right off the highway. The hot rub needed a good cleaning but other then that it was a good Spot.

The room was clean except we dropped something behind the TV stand. When we had to move the really heavy furniture to grab what fell, I found a small travel bag that belonged to a previous guest underneath the stand. I'm not faulting the maids for that since nobody is moving that absurdly heavy thing to clean underneath everyday. Everything else was great. Breakfast was good, but there was little variety. The juice machine ran out of orange juice, but the front desk clerk replaced it right away.

Have stayed at many hotels in US and Europe and never needed deposit in addition to cost of fee. They said it is listed on the registration but found no such information.

The pool area was too open for the public to see. Other than that the stay was great.

This place was excellent for this price range and we would certainly stay here again. Staff were friendly, hospitable, breakfast was fresh with a good variety of choices, parking was ample, felt safe inside the building and out. All in all, it was a good place to stay.

We found a dirty sock in the bed when we rolled back the top sheet.

Not the best area, homeless walking through as we were checking in. Floors were dirty in the room. We were only there for about 7 hours but my kids were even a little nervous about being there.

Rooms need painting and cleaning. Mattresses completely broken down, needs replacing. Shower almost unusable.

Checkin was great and easy. Breakfast was okay. McDonald's acoss the street. It was a struggle tryi g to use their business center to print 1 piece of paper. Staff was not helpful nor dod they offer to print my form for me.

Sour milk left in refrigerator, air-conditioning unit needs new control panel. Worn out and missing some controls.

Our room was reasonably clean except for a dental pick and crumbs in a living room corner. The bed linens and towels were clean and fresh smelling. The bed mattress was well used and sagging at mid height. The room was pleasant and well equipped. Lots of instant available hot water. Our main floor unit had a walk in shower. We stayed here a week previous on the second floor and the room had a tub shower. This is an exterior walkway motel type structure. The pool and hot tub appeared clean. We noticed local law enforcement make a swing thru the parking lot both nights. Breakfast was average and offerings were pretty typical. Breakfast coffee is not brewed but available via a vending type instant machine - not the greatest. There is a McDonalds next door and several other fast food restaurants within a block. The staff were friendly and helpful. The street access is very close to an intersection of a 6 lane street so trying to exit to the left across traffic to head north is a challenge.

It was in a very bad part of town, there were homeless people walking through the parking lot. There was a homeless man sleeping on the stairs to the 2nd floor. I was very disappointed.

The room was reasonably clean except under the table. The bedding and linens / towels were clean and in good condition. Lots of immediate hot water. TV, microwave and refrigerator. Good sized room. The big negative was our king size mattress was broken down, particularly on the door side where it sloped to the edge. We mentioned it to the management and they indicated that they would replace it. Breakfast offerings were the typical hot items - waffle maker, scrambled eggs (very watery), sausage, sausage gravy (cold biscuits that I heated in microwave). Typical cold offerings bread, packaged bear claw, mini muffins cold cereal apples bananas yogurt. Coffee was not brewed but a vending style instant machine offfering decaf or reg in 3 strengths. Juice machine. Two story motel type structure with exterior walkways and stairs. Appeared in good repair. There is a McDonalds next door.

The hosts.. were amazing and very helpful. I had a conference a mile away. … they helped me figure out transportation options. PS.. the bus is $2 right outside the BW to go to historic downtown Chandler, where my conference was. $4 round trip. Beats the $25 Uber round trip.

The photos on their site are very deceiving. Whoever too, them did a great job. The dining area is tiny. The rooms looked much larger on the site than in reality. The shower was mediocre at best. They have a strange slanted semi-circle shower rod. Because gravity is a reality, both ends of the shower curtain cannot remain in place at either end and water ends up all over the floor. Shower water pressure is bad. Staff needs to learn how to clean at the very top ring of the toilet as ours was seriously dirty. WALLS ARE THIN BETWEEN ROOMS. I could hear our neighbor on the phone every night. One night he got in an argument with someone on the phone and he carried on for a long time, yelling, screaming, pounding the door. He was drunk both nights he was our neighbor. He was a construction worker and they seemed to have a fair amount of construction trucks here every night we stayed.

The taqueria place across the street is great and McDonald’s is conveniently in the same parking lot as the hotel.

Despite paying for a non-smoking room. We had to run the exhaust fan in the bathroom, have the window open, and keep the HVAC circulating fan on for just about our whole stay. The smell never went away. Also, the WiFi would work periodically. When I was trying to Chrome Cast a show on my phone to the TV, the WiFi would crash. It did work for about an hour, but then it would stop working. This would happen every 5-10 minutes. The place just didn’t seem clean overall. My wife and I ended up not showering in our room because of how musty it was and felt. We checked out early, and continued to our next destination.

It was awful. The room smelled like smoke, the area was really scary. I didn’t even stay there. I checked out as soon as I smelled my room and saw homeless people walking by it and people sitting in their car watching the hotel room doors. I didn’t get refunded either.

This Property has outdoor access directly to the parking lot from each room and is in a older run down area of town. The night that we stayed there, there was a lot of noise in the surrounding rooms and above us.

Right next to McDonalds. Staff was very friendly and kind. Had a mix up on charges but was corrected right away with no issues. It’s across the street from an amazing taco restaurant. The vending machine ran out of water and hand to buy something else.

The hotel was inexpensive and I needed. Place to stay for two nights. It was badly in need of refurbishment even for the low price. I learned once again, you get what you pay for. In this case much less. The management was friendly and even let me use their extra charger for my phone. Otherwise, a bad memory. The room was badly in need of refurbishment. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. It was a mistake even if only for two nights. Sorry to have to make this comment but if my comments save someone else from making the bad choice I made I’m glad to report what my experience was like. Phoenix offers much better accommodations for the money.

To the credit of the employee at the front desk, he tried to get him out of the breakfast area. However, it was only after the person had opened the hot breakfast items and touched with his hands and looked inside. Given the poor hygiene of that person they should have immediately removed those items and replace them, but they didn't. A lady who came in later, said all they should do is just clean the outside parts of the food containers. Something tells me that this is not to code. I wish the employee had offered to give the poor man a serve of food himself. But this didn't happen. Chatting with the employee at the front desk, he said that this is not uncommon over there, and that different homeless people do this.

I am very picky about hotels, my husband and I both are. This hotel was clean in the lobby and clean in the room! Also, the hallway was clean with no smells, which we appreciated. There really wasn’t anything that I didn’t like. I did not experience the breakfast just because I wasn’t around during the time that it was offered so I can’t give any insight on that part.

Amazing price for what it offers. In a great area if you like bbq and the options a mall has in walking distance. The pool is a good size for the price. Would deff stay again if you enjoy malls and food options. Very happy with the experience.

For the price I paid there are way better hotels out there with way more comfortable beds I hate to say it, but I compare it almost to a motel 6 type vibe and comfort. Me personally I would look elsewhere next stay in Chandler.

The hotel rooms were cleaned. We booked 3 Rooms for the night. Unfortunately we arrived close to 230AM and the clerk was very attentive. Out of the 3 rooms the TV's did not work. We were not sure why.

The property is located next to a McDonald’s so depending on what side you’re on it’ll smell all night but other than that is a decent budget friendly place. It’s perfect for just needing a place to sleep. Just a heads up it’s a $100 deposit upon checking that I wasn’t aware of. But staff was friendly and helpful regardless.

This particular Best Western I’ve been coming to for a while. It’s always a simple, pleasant stay. Comfortable bed, clean rooms, good breakfast, and not noisy or cluttered.

Not a bad area to stay the only issues I have is the rooms are not cleaned properly. When we checked into our room we always check the sheets to make sure they are clean, well im glad we did because they were dirty. Pulled back the covers to find toe nail clippings and hair. It looks like they just made the bed instead of switching the sheets. They did not vacuum at all. I did ask for new sheets and it seemed to bother them to switch out. Food was and ok selection for it being free. When it came to use the pool it was dirty and the hot tub was green. I ask to see if someone could filter the pool for us and the lady in the front desk said they have a 3rd party who cleans it so she did not have a filter to sweep the pool. So needless to say my daughter could not swim. I feel discounts should be given for issues like this.

Pretty terrible for the price. Worse than some of the motels i have stayed. Dont recommend it to anyone who can afford $130 a night.

I didn’t like that it was on the second floor and I had to go up two flights of stairs but the real one I got there was nice and big and it was clean and there was a nice bag.

Just would like more towels in rooms

Not a place I would stay again. Dirty and unsafe feeling. Too expensive. Picture did not reflect how run down area is.

I was set as a dnr for no reason and i would like a refund for payin for a night when i was told i cant rent a room

Very effecient and convenient

Few tourists like us, more travelling for their trades. A little noisy at times. Plenty of places to eat nearby but no nicer restaurants.

The toilet was broken and wouldn’t flush and the tub didn’t drain.

We always appreciate Best Western Inns and this trip was just another example of another good experience! From the customer service to the comfort of the room, we couldn't have asked for a better hotel accomodation - the bonus was the great breakfast in the morning!!

Was not able to sleep till 5 AM. The neighbors had gangster rap blaring, and the man and woman next-door were extremely loud.

It was clean and close to restaurants and shopping. Very old building. Basic hotel breakfast.

It was cheap for less than $100 before taxes. I liked the outdoor hot spa. The staff was friendly. They tried to give me a room closest to the pool area. The pool is not located close to any of the rooms but I appreciated the effort.

Its basically a motel 6, i had a couple nights booked but after getting there a cancelled the other night which i did get a refund for due to the mold inside the suites jacuzzi tub. But i stayed at the crown royal resort and its wayyyy better! Dont waste your money! I felt like i was on the run at best western lol

We needed a clean quiet room for the night in the Chandler area. This Best Western was perfect. It was nothing fancy. Staff was outstanding. We grabbed some coffee in the morning at checkout and saw they had free breakfast available. Breakfast area was immaculate. Would definitely stay here again if we needed to.
