Everything clean and all staff friendly and accommodating. Only problem was pool closed on a very hot week.

Ana and Jonathan were both amazing, our trip was perfect and La Quinta was a great landing spot!

They newly rented it, and I really liked the decorating. It’s a pretty hotel. They have a nice lobby where you have breakfast. The staff was friendly no complaints. They have an outdoor pool, which they advertise- and the implication is it’s open and you can swim- I was here last year in September 2025 in the pool was closed. Now I’m back June 7 and the pool is closed. Pretty much every time I come here the pool is closed and I’m frustrated because I bring a bathing suit and I wanna go in the water and it’s summertime and why is this pool closed? It’s like false advertising. We have a pool that you can ever use it.

The room was clean and the front staff were very nice. I went in June and booked the hotel for the the pool. I didnt find out it was closed until I got there. I also was completely out of shampoo and did not realize until I was already in the shower.

I suggest getting breakfast somewhere else, horrible in my opinion. And I go on the other side of the bed and I see a moldy fruit or something, had to at least be there for weeks. And I spent 10 minutes trying to find the wifi password because it says find the code and its on the card package. Then we were like "Oh let's go to the pool." Well we couldn't do that because we couldn't see the bottom of the pool and there was an open bleach bottle in the pool. Need to do better.

The first thing I noticed was the 100% grade. The staff is always so friendly. This is our 10th year staying here, and we will be back!

Quirky but good. There was no carpeting in the room and no carpeting means no sound insulation, so we could hear EVERYTHING in rooms above and below us. The mattresses were older inner springs so they were a little creeky but okay. Overall, it was a decent stay, very nice area and close to restaurants and shopping.

This property is very deceiving, though it is listed as a pet friendly hotel they will charge you for every single thing. The hotel was not clean. There were cockroaches in the hallway, mold in the bathroom and rust stains all over the tub. For a hotel in the Wyndham chain that we were paying over $200 a night for I expected far better. This was a very disappointing experience and is enough that I would never stay with this hotel chain again. I heard from other guests that they charge them fees if they try to check in more than an hour early. I can tell you from my experience and some of the other guests experience from this weekend and this hotel will turn your card key off at least two hours before your checkout time. For a hotel that charges you for everything it seems odd that they try and kick you out early and not even tell you until you cannot get back into the hotel or into your room. I strongly urge anyone that needs a hotel in this area to look for other accommodations as this experience was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had.

It was a no smoking in the room which I was perfectly fine with because I do not smoke. But everyday during my visit I could smell smoke every morning and in the evening in the hallways. Not cigarette smoke either.... Someone was starting their day out being very happy and mellow ?.

I saw other reviews that said the same and the response from the property is that they would address that short coming. They haven't. Plan for breakfast elsewhere

I loved where hotel was located. Desk person was very nice. I didn't like a couple bringing a dog where you eat and handling food and their dog without washing there hands. Hotel staff didn't say a word. Im sure the Health Dept would love to know that.

No hang tags for DND or refresh of towels. 30 minutes before shut down was too late for eggs and sausage (although sausage didn't taste the best) at breakfast. Maybe some oranges. Can tell the waffle griddles weren't cleaned from day before. Thin walls, but that's corporate/builder fault that can't be corrected. ANY conversation in hallway could be heard....loud voice or not. Beds and pillows comfy. Fridge froze most things but better than not cold enough. Did adjust the temp some but fruit froze on door still.

Jonathan at the front desk was so wonderful and funny. Enjoyed my interactions with him.

At around 9:00 PM, I contacted the front desk to report the issue. The staff acknowledged that the room I had been assigned was actually not supposed to be in use because it was undergoing maintenance. This was frustrating to hear, as it should never have been given to a guest in the first place. While they did move me to another room on the 4th floor, the situation was still inconvenient. I had to gather all of my belongings and move everything upstairs late in the evening, which added unnecessary stress to my stay. Overall, this experience reflected a lack of attention to detail and poor room management. I hope the hotel improves its processes to ensure that rooms under maintenance are not assigned to guests in the future.

For one of the older La Quintas, the room, staff, and amenities were great. The air and in room refrigerator worked just fine, it's been the television. The microwave however was broken and would not start. My fault for not reporting this because I just forgot.

Great location. Close to many restaurants and shopping venues. The room was minimally clean. The bath tub was old and grungy! Cleaning staff came and tried cleaning it to show me the stains and grime couldn’t be cleaned out. The female at the front desk called and explained it was old and couldn’t be cleaned.

Dirty, no one to clean my room and no elevator had to walk the stairs was on the 3rd floor.. and the walls are very thin I heard when the room next to me got into the shower and flushed toilet and heard their conversations. Was their for 5 days with trash built up in my room due to have 2 kids and also 2 adults.. had the same sheets bad pillows for the whole 5 days smh

One of the best stays I have had this year LaQuinta has the best franchise thus far....

The check-in process was smooth and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I requested a refund instead. The assistant manager was very polite and understanding, and the refund process was quick and easy. Unfortunately, when I got to the room, I found bugs on both beds and also on the counter. I reported the issue to the front desk and showed photos.

I did not like the breakfast and I did not like the housekeeping manager banging on my (and neighbors door) door before 11:00 when I asked for a late check out.

The breakfast is no good. I mean really- I couldn’t even drink the coffee. I had to gk buy it elsewhere. The cereal was knock-off brand. The eggs and sausage were not good. I mean, it didn’t meet expectations. Otherwise the hotel was clean and the location felt very safe so overall for the price I would stay again- just not planning on the breakfast.

When the matter was brought to their attention, we were informed that no foul play had been noticed. This response felt dismissive and did not reflect the seriousness of the situation. An incident impacting this many guests should have prompted immediate concern, proactive communication, and a supportive response from staff. This experience has left us feeling unsafe and unsupported. Safety and security are fundamental expectations when staying at any hotel, and unfortunately, this situation did not reflect those standards. The vent in the bathroom was filthy. The remodel was done on the cheap so no real place to put your clothing except for a few cubby holes. The breakfast wasn't very appetizing.

The room was very gross we didn’t want to use the shower at all due to the state of it there was still hair all over the floor as well as some brown gunk.

Room was not cleaned the first day and we had to get new towels and washclothes ourselves. Also, toliet paper was not replenished for 4 people staying in the room. Soap bar was not replaced as well. Heat was up 79-80 and room was still intermittently cold.

The room was big and clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was not good. The eggs ran out multiple days during our stay and weren't replenished - even with 50 minutes left in the breakfast hours. The sausages sometimes were so hard they could not be cut with the plastic knives provided.

Whenever I come to Cary NC I always stay here. The people that work at this location are very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean. I would recommend this location to anyone.

No cut Fruits, No variety of cut Fruits. I could not get any Egg omelets. It seems that Hotel does not have any proper Kitchen to serve to Guests. In future I will not recommend my Client to book this Hotel for me. Please note. Thanks.

I cannot give an opinion on the breakfast as we really didnt partake in breakfast. My fiance did grab an apple, muffin and coffee and she had no complaints. Our only complaint was the neighboring room was a bit loud but it wasnt bad enough to report to the desk and also the toilets are loud when flushed. All in all, i would definitely stay here again.

There is noise probelms from the next rooms as well, you can hear them showering and flushing. The elevators need a lot of work cosmetically..they used wall paper to cover up the panels in the elevators and it was not done well at all..

All clean except elevator had very old, dark finishes. The tub faucent in room 403 needs repair and the refinishing of the walls, door trim and doors sucked [no prep work done prior to painting]. The breakfast sausage was not appreciated1[Try some real bacon!]. It was Ground up fake sausage. Other than those 3 things, everything else was great!

Light switch in entrance worked once and never again. Unable to figure out how to select a channel from the List on the t.v. No instructions for use. The bed lights were easy to find the light switch to turn off or on. The nite lite in the bathroom was thoughtful.

Dog friendly and very walkable areas for.walking the dog. Room was clean and updated. There are a ton of restaurant, retail stores etc within walking distance

We were awakened at 5 am by the loud pumping noise of a shower in one of my room neighbors’ apartments. It seemed like their pipes were about to burst, which was quite not pleasant. Flush toilets sounded like an an airplane one. Interestingly, when I used my own shower, there were no issues or noises, good pressure and all! Another interesting feature was the placement of the parking and floodlights. They were positioned directly in front of the windows, pointing at them, creating a 24h daylight sensation that came from behind and to the sides of the blackout curtains. Overall, I think the property’s renovation efforts were nice but a bit of a wast on some non essential items, leaving other important outdated items behind, not for $130-150$ price it seems a good deal still!

The room was good, remodeled and clean. Breakfast was served beginning at 6am. The worker responsible for maintaining breakfast did not come in until 7am. The juice was not set up and many items were missing. The worker at the desk was less than helpful. When we were going back to our room, we heard someone yelling in the back elevator. Some people were trapped in the elevator. This occurred around 7am. The front desk attendant came but was not very sympathetic of the situation. Incidentally, it was the same associate that wouldn't help with the juice. The room was nice, but the staff was less than adequate. We're not likely to stay there again.

But, beyond that it was a great stay. I would highly recommend it.

Elevator in front was broken. I had to go to the front desk and ask for toilet paper and towels, no one came to service the room and replenish these items during our 3 days stay

The staff was the best part of the stay!! The breakfast was a little disappointing, so while it was free, my husband and I chose to eat at restaurants in the area.

Facility was undergoing maintenance. One elevator closed requiring the stair or a hike to a second. Room smelled like mildew. The facility needs attention and upgrades. The free breakfast was margainal.

I like the staff, i was upset at ine point both elavators were not functioning so i had to help my 84 yr old blind dad walk up 5 flights of stairs.

Our AC unit had visible mold all over the front of it. AC was terribly loud, rattled off and on for hours and did not dehumidify room properly. Other guests loud all night. Bed uncomfortable and stiff. Room uncomfortably cold and moist. Room floors and bathroom felt unsanitary. We were very uncomfortable.

The room was nice… their tubs need updating. They were fixing up the property. But in the back there was a lot of smoking going on and not always cigarettes

The hotel was in a lovely area of Cary. Tucked away but right next to many restaurants and important destinations.

Very clean and quiet, unfortunately we only stayed one night due to an illness.

Property inside and outside was dirty. Also had a leak in our bathroom ceiling. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Was disappointed the brand new renovation did not include the bath tub, was old chipped and discolored. Also had small issue the last night with ants.

Beds were comfortable, staff was friendly, in general an acceptable property. Our biggest complaint, however, is that we had no access to the pool I understand that it needs to be shocked with the amount of use it gets. We came back to the hotel on a Sunday because of the heat index in the 100’s hoping to just spend the afternoon at the pool. IT WAS CLOSED. Can’t the maintenance be done during the week when there’s not as many guests?

Room floors sticky and dirty, pool was closed Saturday and Sunday, Saturday breakfast cereal no milk, waffle machine broken, ice machine on our floor was broken had to go 3rd floor, we paid for pool and breakfast included, and pool closed breakfast services horrible.

Nice clean hotel

This location was getting close to completing renovations and it still had that new hotel smell! Everyone was so nice to our pup and we slept well. I let them know the microwave was a bit loud (like a jet taking off) and they thanked us for the info and were taking care of it. It was really clean! We appreciated their great desk staff and the breakfast.

It's gotten much better overall.
