Have always stayed at a Hampton but we were disappointed with the condition of this one. I can’t say it was dirty but it was so dated and showed signs of wear everywhere you looked. Hamptons are not cheap hotels and I expect more for my money.

The Hotel is in tired condition. I really could use a facelift. Rugs were worn, the rom was clean but this was the worst hotel mattress I have ever slept on. The Television could use more than the limited Direct channels and the guide was slow and not the best. There was no maid service and the only thing they did was empty the basket and bring in new towels. the last day there was no bathmat. Hotel breakfast was adequate, the woman in charge was delightful. The price was decent and was just what I needed compared to other hotels I checked out.

Very disappointed with dumpy stinky lobby that reeks of smoke and dinginess. Never expected such poor experience at a Hampton Inn. I made the reservation for my out of state guest and I was embarrassed to put her in this hotel. So I cancelled the rest of her stay and moved her to another hotel. It was a motel experience.. eewww..

Breakfast wasn’t extraordinary. It’s your basic scrambled eggs and sausage patties, cereals, bagels and muffins. Let’s not forget the waffle maker! I think there’s room for improvements. Overall stay was satisfactory. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

The Youg Lady who checked me in was vey nice and helpful. She recommended a nearby restaurant where I enjoy a delicious evening meal and great service. One minor "slip up" was that I requested a 5:30 a.m. phone wake up call on Saturday morning. It never came. I always carry an an alarm clock with me when I travel on overnight trips so it really was not a serious problem

The room I was assigned was in good condition. It was next to the weight room and down the hall from the elevator this provided for a noisy hallway. The weight room was very noisy and conversations could be heard in the room. Not sure what the hours are for that room, but noise continued late.

We could not get the temperature to cool down in the room. It stayed warm. The breakfast buffet lacked everything. There was zero help to restock the breakfast buffet even when requested. We ended up leaving and paying to eat breakfast elsewhere.

Do not recommend. Staff is very nice, though, and didn't take it personally. I left with no refund and used another lodging establishment. I opted to incur the loss of the money than stay one night in that horrible room. Again, no against the staff. Just overall quality.

Hilton needs to put some serious dollars into this place. The walls in the room I stayed in had paint that cracked and flaked. The ceiling over the AC unit is dark with dust bunnies. The AC/heat unit sounded like a whirling dervish trapped inside. The bathroom needs an upgrade. Paint is needed everywhere. I will say the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

When in the second room…the light in the bathroom was not bright at all and the toilet would barely flush you had to hold it down for quite awhile.. not to impressed as usually Hampton Inns are much better

Clean room (with NC Sanitation grade of 100 for entire facility!), outstanding staff - they were friendly and went over and beyond to help me - before, during check-in and even at AND after checkout. Very good experience. If in the area, I’ll search them out to stay again!

This hotel has seen its days. Definitely overdue for a renovation. HVAC unit in the room was dripping water from moisture, carpet wet. Multiple “wet” strains in the lobby cart on the floors. Better options for hotel stays in this area.

The shower was leaking the entire time I was there. Breakfast was ok but out of waffle mix when I came down around 9:30. Staff was nice. The room itself just looks cheap it didn’t feel like a normal Hampton Inn

The room was for 5 adults. It had a sofa sleeper and king bed. The sofa bed only had a mattress cover. There were no sheets, blankets or pillows in the room and there were only a few towels, not enough for 5. The front desk had someone drop extra linens in the room while we were out and they were left in garbage bags on the floor. And on the first night there was a cockroach in the room. They gave us a new room and on the second night there was another cockroach. The hotel said they couldn't offer a discount or refund because it was booked thru expedia.

Maybe 10 min drive to Lenovo Center which is where our concert was. It was just my daughter & I so feeling safe was an important factor! Breakfast was okay. Good apple juice, muffins and waffles. We would definitely recommend staying! Didn't even notice if they had a pool! Overall a great trip, amazing concert and great stay in a clean safe room! Parking was easy but the parking lot was full when we got back from concert so they could use a bigger parking lot.

Did not stay at Hampton inn as the elevator was not working. Receptionist was not ready to give a room in first floor . Had to find another hotel to stay.

Elevator was broken. Floor in the room was very wet from either the mini fridge or the air conditioner. Sink and shower drains were so slow, they could eventually overflow. Pool did not open on time. Had to go ask to have it unlocked to use it. Water puddle under the exercise mat in the fitness room. Peloton stationary bike didn’t work.

Older property in need of upgrades. Refrigerator in room sounds like an old car. Water pressure in the bathroom was extremely low. Elevators weren't operating so taking the stairs was the only option. Ran into an older gentleman at the bottom of the stairs with a cane struggling to climb stairs. Guests should have been notified.

Great Property. However when we checked in was notified that elevator wasn't working and we were placed on the top floor. Someone could've informed us prior to arriving about the elevator issue. If was informed might have picked another place tonlodge

Bottom line: Excellent customer service, terrible property management. The one and only elevator is inoperable. Considering most rooms are on floors 2-5, that is a no-go for many people and I almost requested to change properties before I even got my key. My 68-year-old dad sucked it up because it was after 9pm when we finally arrived—luckily we ended up only being there for 2 nights. Tasia, the young lady working nights (by far the best part about our stay) at the desk offered to rebook me at a nearby Hilton property, but it was already quite late and I had an appointment at 9am. When we got to the assigned room on the 2d floor (she tried to accommodate us), there was no AC…in Raleigh…in mid July. We were quickly rebooked to a 4th-floor room but Tasia personally climbed up to that floor just to make sure the AC was ice cold in the room before processing the room change and keys. I called Hilton back just to get her name for this review, and I’m a little ashamed I forgot it after just a week. She did a great job and deserves a raise and to work at a premier Hilton property. Upon arrival we were informed since we booked through a third party service they were not able to contact us about the elevator being out of order. No biggie, but then 3 hours into our stay the toilet over flowed and had to be plunged 4 times. We cleaned it up and when we informed the front desk that it happened (as well as asking for more towels) they seemed unfazed. I would not recommend this location or stay here again.

The room only sleeps 4, even though my reservation was for 5 with a sofa bed. The manager was rude and said that is what I get for going with a third party and she can’t help. Only help she provided was to refund my money and let us look for a hotel in the middle of the morning. We had to sleep three on a bed which was very uncomfortable and unacceptable.

The elevator was broke and they put us on the 4th floor. This was annoying, but not the worst thing in the world, however what made the stay worse was the breakfast....the staff did not do a good job of stocking the breakfast bar, and were standing around, apathetic to the fact that stuff needed to be filled. Seems like this place is poorly managed and we would not go back.

This property was very disappointing. The elevator was out of order so I had to have my room changed from a king with pull out bed to a regular king with no concession. The ice machine was out of order, pool out of order, shower was luke warm. It was disappointing.

The staff was super friendly especially at breakfast. The elevator was down from 11pm to 7am and that was an inconvenience especially when our event didn't end till after 11 at not and we were on the 5th floor. The pull out sofa bed was like sleeping on a bed of springs super uncomfortable. Definitely not worth what they were charging just because there were a bunch of events in the area definitely don't like the price gouging

This hotel is not in great shape. It was dirty and run down. Everywhere you look you can see that it has not been maintained. Chipped tiles, ripped carpet, broken lamps, etc. In addition, the elevator was out of service for our entire stay. The air conditioner was so noisy, every time it kicked on it woke me up. Typically a Hampton Inn is a good lower cost option. Not here. Will not stay again.

Despite the elevators being out of order, everything else was great! Absolutely loved the staff. Very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was great and the staff made my morning with a personal touch for each person that came to breakfast.

To make matters worse, both elevators were out of service for the entirety of my stay, which was a major inconvenience. When a staff member came to the room, they refused to even look at the bug, saying, “Please just take a picture, I don’t want to see it in person, it’s going to make me sick.” I did take pictures, which are attached. I was moved to a different room, but even there, I found a stink bug and someone’s earring on the floor—clear signs the room wasn’t properly cleaned. The next morning, I noticed red, itchy bites on my arm and collarbone. I went to urgent care and received confirmation that the bites were from bed bugs. What made the situation worse was the dismissive attitude from management. While the staff were initially friendly upon check-in, once I reported the issue, the manager’s tone changed completely. When I requested a reimbursement, she curtly replied, “You know that’s not going to happen. I gave you a free day and that’s it.” Despite claims of high ratings and cleanliness, my experience was quite the opposite. I would not recommend this location based on the poor condition of the facilities and the lack of accountability from management.

Yes... one of the two elevators was still out, but they did offer to take you on the other one in manual mode. Staff very nice. Property in good shape. Room clean and comfortable... loose toilet seat being the only small issue, and I hate the squishy pillows these days, but there was 4 per bed. Breakfast just ok but accomplished its mission. Good coffee.

Overall not a bad experience. The room was clean which is the most important thing for me. The staff was excellent as well. They accommodated a flower delivery for me that arrived before I did. Location is good if you need to be on X-ray but there are much better places. This place is so dirty. It needed to be remodeled 10 years ago. The furniture is old. Hallways are grimy. This is one of the worst hotel experiences ever. The place is dungy and dirty, the carpet in the halls and rooms are dirty, the closet door was broken, my toilet kept running all night (the floater stop is worn so it would drain, refill, stop, drain, refill, stop…), and the elevators were broken (both elevators!, for three days!). This hotel is dragging the Hampton Inn / Hilton name down. Disappointed, upset, and will never ever stay in any Hilton or Hampton Inn again.

HORRIBLE! The description is WRONG, it states “sleeps 5”. This is a small room with 2 beds, 4 can barely fit. Elevator broken and only room they had for us was on the 3rd floor, no offer to help with hauling luggage up stairs. Shower drain very slow, filled up with soapy water. Elevator was not working so we had to walk up multiple flights of stairs, which was difficult after recently having knee surgery. Room was ok, but the property is older. Front desk agent was not able to be found when we wanted to ask questions. Just not up to the usual quality I expect with a Hampton Inn, especially for the price.

I was told at check in that the elevator was out of service and the only room available was on the 5th floor - I am disabled, recently had knee surgery and was already in excruciating pain; stairs were NOT an option for me. I was told there was nothing they could do to accommodate me because I booked through Expedia. Wouldn't even consider possibly sending me to a different location. I am now out of a few hundred dollars and had to inconveniently last minute buy another stay at a different hotel near by! I will not consider a stay at Hampton ever again. Very unprofessional, waste of money, embarrassing and inconvenient.

The carpet, the paint, the furniture in the room everything looks old, not well maintained. My son is 44 years old, he is blind, on a wheelchair, they gave us a 3rd floor apt when the only 2 elevators were “out of order” they never told me it was a problem when I made the reservation, whoever owns this place had only 1 thing in mind “make money”. I will never stay in this place again!

Complaint: Went to purchase bottled water and was charged $5.00 per bottle for 20oz Pure Life purified water. Price list menu shows $5 cost is for Smart Water brand but hotel is selling cheap bottled water and claiming it is same price for all water. Pointed this out to desk staff when leaving and they did not seem to care.
