Nice quiet hotel to stay the night

The location was close to my daughter in Canton, the breakfast was decent, especially liked the waffle maker. The bed was comfy, but I didn't like that there was only one heavy blanket, no lighter weight one. I didn't like at all that the coffee maker was in the bathroom. That is so unsanitary!! We didn't make any coffee while we were there. There had to be a better place to put it! Also, one of the outlets in the bathroom didn't work. But it was okay for the price.

Upgraded to King room when booking.com only offered doubles. Very nice size for room and comfy bed with 5 pillows.

Yes. It is probably stupid, but it's one of my pet peeves. The plastic wear in the breakfast area was trash!!!! So flimsy that it would barely cut the waffles. Just junk. I think they could do better than that.

It looked like it was newly remodeled, and the beds were phenomenal everyone at the desk was pleasant. I didn’t really eat the breakfast. Second, the rooms, lobby and breakfast room were all exceptionally clean. Third, the lady that checked us out (amurph) was very pleasant and efficient. Too bad I don't travel through that area more often.

Very strange. We were met outside by someone making sure that we had a reservation. We were told not to close outside doors because it was supposed to rain later and the door locks were sticky. We were told not to go through the hotel hallway but to unload at the far end of the hotel. No carts were available. The front desk systems were supposedly down so we were checked in at a separate desk.

The staff was super helpful, the property was well cared for and clean. You could tell it was not a new property, but there had been upgrades and our room was spotless. No dust, even the corners and edges of the room were clean. The sheer curtains needed to be replaced, but other than that- it was excellent.

I do not recommend this hotel based on my recent stay. There were multiple issues that made the experience very uncomfortable: • Cockroaches were visibly roaming around the room, raising serious concerns about cleanliness and hygiene. • The exhaust fan in the bathroom wasn’t working, so the entire room was filled with unpleasant odors after anyone used the restroom. • The refrigerator was old and rusted, looking unhygienic and neglected. . No cleaning of tiles grout . No room temperature control , need to used default settings

The staff really went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay. We are truly grateful for their kindness and consideration. The room was clean and ready for us upon arrival. Checkin was smooth even outside of normal hours. We got a great night's sleep! Everything was perfect.

It was the most unpleasant stay I have ever had in a hotel. Breakfast was awful! Computer system was down. Room was not very clean and dated. Construction everywhere which I know the hotel can do nothing about. The gentleman at check-in was nice enough. Just not a great area.

The entry light to our room was burned out so once we went in, we had a hard time finding our way to a light. The next morning, we tried to explain that to the woman at the desk when we checked out, but she didn’t seem to understand.

The price was right for a night needed to cut travel Time in half. That the doors into the property by rooms were propped open and not locked.

Extremely impressed with the staff. The man working at check-in was exceptionally accommodating and professional. Christmas decor in the lobby was beautiful, too. It wasn't a big deal, but I wish they had picked a more politically neutral news channel to have on the TVs at breakfast.

Easy on & off I-40. Canton NC is small struggling town that just had their huge paper mill close last year, can’t help but feel for the long term effects on this community. Southern Porch restaurant ? All was good

The staff was kind and welcoming. The hotel was pretty empty so they were not too swamped. The rooms were clean and well looked after. Comfortable and quiet. The location was good for us traveling through. Can't beat the price. The breakfast was pretty scarce. It was below expectations. Maybe because not man people were in the hotel, but it seemed like the bare minimum.

Overall property in marginal condition….served by 1 or 2 people on staff struggling to check people in & keep people happy. This was a one night “passing through” stay. Not worth the price. Drink another Diet Coke & keeeeep driving.

the guy who checked me in was very nice. he also kept a close eye on the place and i felt safe because he did. this place is awesome. we left something by accident in the room and he mailed it to our home so we would have it upon our return home. there are lots of places to eat and sliding rock is way fun.

The gentleman that checked me in was so polite and professional. However!! Once I got to my room which was on the second floor when I turned on the light I saw a roach in the bathroom. I squashed it. Then I got nervous. When I wanted to put my water bottles in the mini fridge there was 3 dead roaches in there too! Then I plugged in my phone on the bedside table to charge it and when I did 2 more crawled out from under the phone!! I wanted to leave then!! It was 11pm and I was exhausted. I called and got a refund for the following night and then slept on the bed sideways with all the lights on. I left by 6 am to go to work. This hotel needs exterminated!!

A lot of hotels don't have a comforter, and I loved that they had fluffy, comfortable comforters on the bed, and not just a thin sheet.

The clerk on duty at check-in was super friendly and efficient. He was very helpful with a minor problem and resolved it quickly. The morning staff at breakfast and checkout were also great. The location also has several fast food options within walking distance. Overall a good experience and would repeat.

The accommodations were good. The bed slept well and the bathrooms were clean. However, the choices at breakfast were very disappointing. Only cereal, yogurt, juice where the options available.

It was very average, it was pretty clean, but definitely could use some more work. They could use an overhaul, it seemed outdated. Continental breakfast was weak. I feel like the price is high for how mediocre the hotel was.

I had lost faith in Quality Inns due to previous poor experiences at different locations, but I would return to this location! The facility is older, but neat and clean. The courtyard was nicely landscaped and the pool was inviting with sparkling water. The front desk staff, manager, and housekeeping staff are friendly and accommodating. I felt right at home. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for a great stay!

If you are in need to rest for the night it will get the job done. It was nice that breakfast was included. It was a simple breakfast of cereal or a waffle and a yogurt.

The check in clerk was rude, did not advise there was an external key required to get into the hallway, didnot describe the entrance so i had trouble finding the proper entance, no signage. Loud noises at midnight. I left without breakfast since i just wanted out of there. I did not feel safe because the safety lock would not work.

It has old mid 70"s colors and it is drab looking. Lighting and switches need updating and needs more USB and electric connections. It was passable for a quick overnight stay while traveling home. Nothing was as advertised. Be prepared to go out and buy breakfast because the advertised (breakfast included) does not exist. The bathrooms are super small. And the front desk is located at the entrance of a staircase. Horrible presentation.

Our stay at the Quality Inn was great, as always. We have been coming here for almost three years because we have children who attend WCU and UNC Ashville. We always feel welcomed and safe every time we come here.

Office didn’t seem to be working. Checkin on small computer in lobby. Worried about the security of checkin. No elevator. Old smell in hallway. Room seemed clean and bedding was fine. Room quiet. Checked out early and no one in office. Waited a bit. Knocked on window. Called the number it said to call if no one was there. Nobody came. Left a note asking checkout info be mailed. No breakfast. Room too expensive for all that. Wouldn’t stay there again.

It was perfectly okay. There was nothing about this hotel that was not average. It was not BAD at all. It was fine.

The room smelled like a huge party had just left. The nicotine on the walls had dried run marks all over the place. The bathroom lights were yellow from the nicotine dust webs in the corners. Bathroom floor was sticky the toilet was clean and the bed was clean. If I had any other option I would’ve left.

Lots of rules that contradicted other rules confusing like no glass containers in pool area but then no food or drink in pool area there bag breakfest was not the greatest but over all was a nice place and we had a great time
