    enjoyed my stay here, staff was friendly, room was clean, and the breakfast was nice. i only came across two issues however. During day 2 there was a malfunction with my room keys but front desk was very understanding and changed my keys with no problems. My other issue was there was a pipe leak in our bathroom.

    No surprises either way. It’s exactly what you expect in lodging. Metro station was close enough, shopping was close enough. Staff was friendly enough. Breakfast was a step up. It’s a solid place to stay.

    The room was disgusting and smelled horrible. The area felt extremely unsafe with lots of people in their cars in the parking lot staring at me. The back door to the hotel was ajar so anyone could get in after hours. Horrible feeling as soon as I walked into this hotel. I walked right back out and got into my car and drove the hour and a half back home because I felt so on edge being here. The gentleman at the front desk was kind to me but aside from that this hotel gave me an extremely unsafe feeling. Would not recommend at all.

    I had no issues with my stay, When I first got into my room the tv and the phone were not working. I only needed the phone to call the front desk to let them know that the TV wasn't working. I went to the front desk and the young lady was helpful and immediately put me into another room. The only issue although its a small one is that the channels didn't match what the guide said.

    The front desk staff deserves a special shout-out. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, making check-in and our stay easy and enjoyable. The complimentary breakfast was another highlight. The woman overseeing breakfast took such pride in her work that it felt less like eating at a hotel and more like visiting my favorite great-aunt's house for a home-cooked meal. She made guests feel welcome and cared for, and it was a wonderful way to start the day. The location is also very convenient. The Branch Avenue Metro Station is about a 14-minute walk from the hotel (roughly 0.7 miles), making it easy to leave the car behind and head into the city. We parked at the Metro for a very reasonable cost and rode to Navy Yard to attend a Nationals game, which worked out perfectly. Between the hotel's free parking, easy access to the Metro, comfortable accommodations, and exceptional staff, we would gladly stay here again. Thank you to everyone who made our visit such a pleasant experience!

    They give this hotel a four star I will get this hotel a two star. It’s not the cleanest hotel you smell weed when you’re end of the building phone doesn’t work. You have to call the front desk to learn how to use the shower the people at the front desk, get very agitated.

    I was very surprised at the horrible conditions of this hotel. I've stayed at Holiday Inn Express before it was a very nice experience. However, this DC East Andrew's AFB hotel is not good. The carpets in the hallways were smelly and dirty, and the room's carpeting was no different. The room smelled moldy, and the refrigerator did not work, so I had to call for maintenance. They fixed it immediately because I had to step out. But when I returned to the room to relax for the evening, I sat on the bed and it sank to one side. I checked it and noticed that the baseboard was broken. Needless to say, I was not pleased. I immediately contacted the front desk to request another room. Thankfully, they were able to get me another room. I'm already booked for two nights at this hotel, but I will be very reluctant to book at another IHG hotel again.

    I made my reservation well in advance. Hotel staff gave me a room that I didn’t reserve online. Had to get a room change. Poor customer service. I was rushed to paid for my room and wasn’t aware of the incidental fee for $75.00. I was told to step aside so the staff can help a “white couple” behind me. I told staff that I had already waited 15 minutes with the customer in front of me. The couple behind me can wait like I did for their room. Afterwards, I was finally given the room that I reserved online.

    For the rate this property charged, the experience was terrible. The room was old and not clean. Overall it was just dingy. The lobby is dated and disorganized. It is also in the middle of no where. Immensely overpriced as well for what it is.

    The photos showed a loveseat in the room, there was only a chair. Breakfast on the Hotels App states until 11:00am, and I was super excited about this. It is only until 10:00am, good thing We went down early. Also, the photos online, show bacon and oatmeal for breakfast, two of my morning regulars, there was neither. Both toasters ended up not working. We ended up going out to eat breakfast.

    This particular room was cramped with a king size bed and accessible bathroom, which I doubt would be suitable for a wheelchair to maneuver. The lighting was dim even with the 4 lamps.

    The staff at the front desk were really nice and helpful. O problems at check in or out. The manager was super friendly. The only issues I had were the room was decent but we had no hot water when we arrived. I called they fixed it then the next morning same issue. No hot water. We paid for a room with a jacuzzi tub and we weren’t even able to use it because of the water issues. It was convenient as far as location but I’d doubt I’m coming back.

    The experience at the hotel was great. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and fully stocked with all of the basic necessities. The location was also good. It was only a short walk to the metro station. I was only at the hotel for a short time just to sleep. I did not really eat breakfast there are use any of the additional facilities so I cannot answer.

    Upon checking into the hotel 15 minutes later the fire alarm went off with a real fire on the property, arriving back at the hotel preparing to iron, the ironing board was BROKEN- split in half, also there was a bug in the crevices caught in a dust web. The young man name Cedric was extremely UNPROFESSIONAL and showed no hospitality as a staff member.

    The front desk lady was an angel. When arrived a fire alarm came on. After a hotel evacuation and waiting outside for over 30 minutes we were able to check in. The following morning the hot water ran out for over 3 hours from 7 until 1030 and the elevators stopped working. The front desk had to handle all the complaints, which she had no control over. The owner the hotel needs to put more into the mechanicals of this property.

    Had to switch rooms because the initial room had no air and the TV did not work. It smelled very damp. In the second room, the TV never connected to the wi-fi and the elevator was incredibly slow. When I went to complain, there was no one available at the desk.

    We have stayed in many “business” hotels but this was the worst. We stayed at a Microtel thr night before and it was the Ritz compared to this run down mess of a hotel.     Front desk and staff very friendly..my room I had double beds the first night the bed was terrible didn’t sleep well second night got in the other bed it was much better slept well.     So to begin this was the nastiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I’m not from the area so we traveled from New Jersey to get to this hotel for a concert event. To warn anyone this was room 302! To start with the laundry list of issues room was super small for the price, the door handle to the room was literally loose , the rooms toilet hardly flushed, the shower was cold the entire time we were there, the fridge didn’t become cold till the second day we were there, the tv was unusable due to it have a ton of lines in the screen, all of the outlets in the room are a definite fire hazard as well as being loose, the WiFi in this hotel was absolutely unusable, there were stains on the walls. All that is on top of the staff being beyond rude and claimed my complaints were essentially void because I had just gotten there. When I brought up the issues they did 1 single attempt of looking in the room one one of us in the room was currently naked and getting out of the icebox shower. Then seemingly got upset because I turned them away for obvious reasons. Long story short if you want to disrespected and ignored in a disgusting setting this is the hotel for you.

    It's was a good stay. Staff was awesome. Pool needs some updates along with the outside paint job. Room was good just a place on the wall where it had been patched but not professionally done. You could see the crack patch and it wasn't sanded down well.

    The house cleaning and support staff were great but the young man at the front desk could be pleasant but spent the majority of his time walking around monitoring everything that we did. We were there for a tournament and the kids were not out of control but we were constantly reprimanded for running, being loud (in the middle of the day), and even I was told that I could not eat my carrot sticks in certain areas of the lobby. Interestingly enough, other hotel guests were not questioned or reprimanded when doing the same things.

    I was forced to book the room because the hotel we originally booked a room at had no power. When I arrived the front desk person told me my booking was in error; they had no rooms. She also said she’d cancel the booking on her end with no problem. Everything she said was a lie. I contacted them and they told me I was lying. I got charged $179 for a room that was unavailable. I’m never using this app again in this life.

    The property was very dirty and cluttered on the outside. My main issue with all Holliday Inn Expresses is the free breakfast. it is so bad, it should be free. We started staying at HI because of the free meal. Powdered eggs and the same ole sausage EVERY DAY. We’re done with Holliday Inn. There are too many motels with much better food for the same price. We were there 4 days and only ate there once.

    This isn’t the level of quality typical of a Holiday Inn, which is my preferred choice. When you arrive, it’s clean enough in the lobby, but the ceiling tiles are gross, desk staff was VERY friendly. Check-in was very smooth and easy, except we weren’t told where the pool was, because it was locked, both gates, no pool access, I booked this specific choice over others for the pool. Then I’m given my room, I booked a double queen for 4 large people, I was given a double full, when asked about the accommodation, I’m told that they only have to honor the number the room sleeps and not specifically the size of the bed. Go to the elevators, only one is operable, the other was down the ENTIRE week. 1 of 2 elevators is working, for 5 floors. I get to my room, it’s tiny, furniture is in disrepair, the beds are rock hard, the air conditioning barely cools the room, the bathroom is TINY. Our specific room had a toilet that would only flush if you held the handle, the shower diverter from the tub spigot only half engaged so we had low pressure at the show head while water spewed from the tub faucet. The TV was a paltry old 32” and the sound barely worked on it, the WiFi wouldn’t connect while we were there. The TV remote was sticky. The cleaning staff was also rude, with only one elevator they would hog it, they wouldn’t wait for customers to clear the it, they’d just push in before people got out. It’s the grossest HIE I have ever been in and I wont go back, IHG should be embarrassed.

    Cigarette and blunt holes throughout room and mildew smell. Dark and dingy. Will not return. We actually left after 2 hours and didn’t stay overnight. Horrible experience.

    Preston helped us upon, checking in extremely professional and took care of all of our needs. I also like to acknowledge the sweetest woman who was in charge of breakfast each morning. I didn’t catch her name, but she was so nice to talk to untreated all of our boys with such hospitality Colorado Magic basketball thank you. We had conversation a couple mornings I wanted to say thank you we appreciate you and I wish I could’ve done more.

    My stay was good except when my trailer in their parking lot got broke into and my tools stolen. The night man working was very rude to me and completely unhelpful. The rest of the staff there were very good. There are signs all around the parking lot about theft so it seems like an ongoing problem.

    I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with my recent stay at your hotel at above location- 5001 Mercedes Blvd, Camp Springs, MD 20746 . Despite reporting issues with the shower having only cold water and the air conditioning not working, Manager Denise refused to assist me. Not only were my concerns ignored, but Manager Denise also spoke to me in a condescending manner, making me feel disrespected and incompetent. As a paying guest, I expect a certain level of service and respect.     We booked a weekend for Valentine's Day and this hotel was bad. There was no hot water all weekend. We told the front desk about it and they assured us it was getting fixed, it didn't. The bed was broken and the couch had stains all over it. Gross. Can't believe they have the nerve to charge $250/night.

    I booked two rooms for my mother and I. In my mother’s room a used condom box was found at the bottom of her bed. She also did not have wash cloths, towels, or a shower curtain in her room. When she went to the front desk she was told she would be receiving a refund for one nights stay. We never received the refund and when I contacted Expedia they couldn’t get in contact with the manager of the hotel. How is that possible. The customer service has been horrible correcting this issue and I will be contacting corporate.
