Andrew the valet is wonderful. My husband and I first discovered the hotel last year and we continue to come back. Andrew was fantastic. As well as the rest of the staff.

Very nice hotel in quite area. Store across street was convenient. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Service was excellent, and the staff was very attentive. The rooms were roomy :-) and immaculately clean. We couldn’t have had a more enjoyable stay. The free continental breakfast we have got in our package could have been slightly bigger or had a few more options, but frankly, it was still good. Excellent overall. Would love to come back again.

The room was amazing and the vibes around the property was incredible. One of the housekeepers (Esther) made our stay. All the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, definitely made our stay. Will definitely book again when we are in the area.

We loved staying here! The room was super quiet, clean, and peaceful. The pool and hot tub were great amenities, and the continental breakfast was great. All staff were wonderful! We plan to stay here again in the future.

I really enjoyed my stay here. My mom really enjoyed her day as well. Customer service was very good. The food at the bar was really good as well. The pool was comfortable and quiet. The bed was amazing. The robes are super soft overall 10 out of 10 experience the location is amazing across the street from a grocery store, Starbucks and bank, eating areas, breakfast areas dry cleaners, nail salon. The location is perfect. You’re looking for a hotel in Burbank. I highly recommend this hotel.

Our two night stay was thoroughly enjoyable. Norm, the bartender, helped ease us into our stay with excellent dinner recommendations. All of the staff were kind and attentive. The pool and hot tub were wonderfully relaxing and the continental breakfast was above average. We hope to return again and soon.

I love this hotel. The rooms are pretty and spacious. The pool and gym are nice. My only complaint is the food in the restaurant is not very good. A good restaurant would make the Amarano perfect.

The room was clean and staff were nice but the hotel is misleading stating there is free breakfast when only continental breakfast is free and the rest you would need to pay for also it does not stay. There is no parking and that there is a $45 charge for parking per day along with an additional $40 fee per day for services. When asked about parking staff stated there was parking around the hotel which there were not everything was marked as private property and you would get a ticket. Swimming pool small. For the amount, the hotel charges along with the additional extra fees you can definitely stay at an upgraded better hotel.

Amarano has become my go-to for travel to Burbank several times a year. Checks all the boxes- great location, impeccable service, really thoughtful guest experience, and good value. Will be back!

The staff was fabulous, the food good but the bed was like sleeping on a board-too hard. I requested a pillow top but it didn’t make a big difference. Didn’t sleep well a d woke up achy every morning. Maybe they should invest in some softer mattresses or sleep # or purple mattresses. The pillows leaves much to be desired too.

My wife and I had a great one night stay. The hotel and property were very nice and well maintained. ALL of the staff we interacted with were very nice and had great customer service skills. Front desk, housekeepers, valet and food service were all great at their jobs and made us feel very welcome. We would defintely stay here again!

Staff was nice. Room was just what we needed. Heated pool was a bonus. Sunday breakfast was a little slow, so give yourself some time.

Very nice Hot tub enjoyed it the heated pool was very enjoyable, I just didnt like how we had to wait for about 30 mins to even get a towel out to us. There is valet parking available here but if not you can park on the side street which I wish I knew before I booked it. The breakfast that comes with this hotel is a Joke .... They hand a menu with some good stuff on it but everything cost $25 and up.... The shampoo and conditioner that comes in the room does not smell good so Just Bring your own. The bed is so comfortable I had a very good sleep and I hard time getting out of it. I sunk right into right into the location is Good

We ordered room service and didn’t have a proper place to set the tray or eat on. I chose this property due to past reviews and close proximity to Universal Studios. Most likely will be staying at another location for future stays.

Amazing boutique hotel with cool vibe - stayed in a couple rooms over a long weekend - each with its own unique style and furnishings. All of the staff was super friendly, breakfast was amazing, great hotel bar and little restaurant. Will stay her again and again.

I will never stay here again. I would give them a O if I could for lack of communication. And the toilet kept getting clogged. We had to call maintenance. This was a trip for my daughter’s wedding and I was so disappointed with part of it.

We had a fantastic stay!! The rooms are clean and quiet. The staff super helpful and pleasant. All of the spaces are nicely done, warm and unique. Each morning breakfast was a great way to start the day. The staff genuinely cares about your stay. We will stay here each time we’re in town.

We very much appreciated the free continental breakfast. If I had to make one adjustment it would be for stronger coffee. The coffee in the room is much better than downstairs. Room was clean. We used the fridge a lot and wished it was a little bigger. The hotel is across the street from a supermarket and walkable to so many restaurants that a slightly bigger fridge would be great for a few essentials or takeaway. These are very minor “complaints”. We highly recommend this hotel. They have made some great improvements over the years and again, the friendly staff really upgraded our experience.

Nice location, needs a little attention on the maintenance side. One downside is if you have an electric vehicle they don’t have a way to charge your car…Oh and our sink would drain really slow and get backed up… nice bar at the hotel, bummer the patio was closed.

Very old tired, looking hotel previously owned by another owner the lobby furniture completely unacceptable stains all over furniture in the lobby. Rooms are just OK. Very old furniture very tired looking hotel very disappointed plus Expedia charged me top dollar could’ve saved 100 bucks buying a direct from the hotel very disappointed in Expedia just deleted your app.

The hotel overall needs to be updated again, the room we just stayed in was worn down, chipped paint all over and not very nice. The room last year was much better. Breakfast is basic so we walked over to Hanks for the best bagels in LA and Priscilla's for coffee. Thanks.

The room was comfortable and we loved the Hollywood theme. Only downsides were the free Continental breakfast was very limited and the shower didn't drain as well as it should have.

This is an exceptional hotel, located in Burbank with easy access to freeways and to a lot of restaurants and special attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location Our balcony door would hardly open and was broken. Room service only made beds, left all the trash and dirty cups. Did not replace liner to ice bucket or cups so we couldn’t make tea or coffee in the room. Also left bottle of cleaning liquid behind which they never used.

We are a family of four that stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. The staff was excellent and any requests we made were tended to immediately. The pool area is small but fantastic with bottled water available. The hotel has a great vibe and we loved that there was a grocery store and Starbucks across the street. We also visited Ma’s kitchen which we loved! We found the location excellent. The only issues with the hotel were that the shower was small and the bathroom could have cleaner. There was a thick layer of dust on the baseboards. Additionally, we had a suite with a pull out couch but the mattress was very thin and squeaky. We ended up putting one kid in a cot and the other on the couch.

Then, to make matters worse, one of the valet attendants attempted to make my life difficult, which upset me even more.

These extra charges add up quickly and should be made much more transparent before booking. Between the hidden daily fee and the lack of reasonable parking options, the overall experience felt frustrating and overpriced. I would not have chosen to stay here if I had known the true cost in advance.

Wonderful hotel! There were 3 Starbucks close by (one directly across the street). This hotel was very clean & we really enjoyed our stay!

Really nice boutique hotel. Inviting and comfortable. Staff very friendly. I took a star away bc we had a couple of issues. First night there was a sewage smell in our room, and one day housekeeping never cleaned our room, even after we brought it to the attention of the front desk. It was a really nice place though and we would try it again.

I stayed in room 240…from 5am til 6:30am EVERY morning, a steady rhythmical banging can be heard in bed…sounds like an unbalanced washing machine so I guessed its the laundry room. Management decided to do absolutely nothing about it (I don’t think they believed me as I wasn’t taken seriously). So I won’t be staying at this place ever again.

Hotel Amarano is my favorite Burbank hotel. Staff is so incredibly good at what they do and respectful of the costumer. Harvey at the bar is outstanding. Hotel is at the center of everything I need. I always rent the balcony rooms overlooking the pool - so peaceful.

The staff was incredible. From the moment we pulled up, someone took our bags to our room, check in was a breeze, everyone was friendly. The room was big and spacious and the beds were comfortable.

My comments are directed at the staff. Im 65 yrs old and have traveled the world. The manager and the other younger staff member are the MOST welcoming, kind, professional, helpful, considerate, and provided the best service over self ive ever had. This was very important to me especially since my wife has early Alzheimers.

My biggest complaint was thing were not refilled daily, like coffee and creamer, make-up wipes, soap, etc. These are things you use daily, so when housekeeping does the room while you're out, those types of thing should be refilled automatically. Especially when charging a "resort" fee.

The whole hotel is cozy and welcoming. The staff are highly professional and engaging. The location is ideally central to everything we wanted to do. The room had an odd smell. The bed is a tad too hard, but that's a personal preference.

Beautiful comfortable hotel in a nice location. The exercise room was void of any sanitizer or wipes all 4 days there. Didn’t like having to walk past everyone in the lobby to go get ice and refill water.

The place is top shelf class act for sure. I've stayed here twice and I'll stay there again.

The room didn’t have a TV remote so I called and was informed they would get a replacement but no one ever came or called. We were also accidentally charged $156.

Enjoyed my stay. My room was clean and fresh and nicely decorated. The staff was extremely helpful from parking my car to delivering my luggage on my arrival and departure. Dinner and drinks were tasty. Would definitely stay there again

We stayed here for the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl game. We loved our room because it was so spacious, the restaurant & bar were very good and open during the day and evening, great drinks. Room service breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly and the location is good, close to Burbank Airport. We didn’t walk anywhere or use the pool due to the unusually rainy weather.

My bed linens had stains and sheets were wet to the touch. Breakfast options were extremely limited for someone with food allergies, waitresses were cranky and abrupt, hot tub was crowded with kids and lukewarm in temperature, hallway our bedroom in was musty and smelled…

The continental breakfast was the only disappointment. It was served- plain, thick Greek yogurt, dry granola, a tiny bowl of fruit and a muffin. When asked to order alacarte they were out of all of the protein items.

Staff were friendly and helpful, they stored our luggage while we checked out a nice Italian restaurant across the street. My kids enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub during the stay. We highly recommend this place.

This hotel is one of the hotels that gives you a look down their nose for booking with Hotels.com. My room wasn’t cleaned properly the coffee in my room wasn’t replaced. The front desk allowed me to understand my reservation wasn’t cool enough as a hotels.com user good service… denied

I love the Amarano and it's become the place I stay when I visit LA about 4 times/year. It is always special service, quiet clean rooms, filtered water stations, a great gym, wonderful restaurant and a friendly staff. It's first class!!!!

Everything was great and everyone was kind. Too much surprise fees upon checkout. Lost most of my deposit, feel a little scammed. But would stay again if there's no other place in that location.

The bar a dinner menu were creative and the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The only negative was no smart tv in the room. Otherwise, an awesome stay and I’d highly recommend.

They promised a top floor if we can wait until 3pm as we arrived 1pm so we finished our lunch and came 2pm it was still the same so we again came back little late than 3pm and was given a room at 1st floor right on top of valet parking facing which was making our stay uneasy due to continuous sound despite our long stay- I doubt we would again stay there. Breakfast complimentary is a myth as they combined with their food menu. All they offered was one croissant, small cup of curd and fruits!

Staff was awesome. I was cranky and tired and the valet was amazing through my crankiness. One thing I have learned staying in hotels is make sure they do not give you an adjoining rooms. I heard the ladies next to me entire conversation. it was annoying and woke me up.

The entire staff was amazing from the valet attendant to the check-in host to the bartender to the housekeeping staff. They accommodated every single request we made in addition to going above and beyond our expectations. We were celebrating my 70th birthday and made sure it was an extra special occasion.

This booking process was poorly designed and executed. I couldn't check in on the reservation I made through the hotels.com, so I had to check in for 2 nights and pay the hotel direct. I paid for 3 nights but only stayed for two. The hotel refuses to correct the obvious error and provided absolutely no help in rectifying the overcharge. Bad service is bad service.

We booked this hotel for one night after returning from our vacation in New Orleans. I booked a room with two double beds, but was given an accessible room with one king bed. I chose not to bring this to the hotel's attention because we were so exhausted after our flight. But it was kinda inconvenient because we needed two beds, and one of us had to sleep on the sofa without extra blankets or pillows. We had to share bedding amongst the three of us staying in the room. The hotel was clean, our room a little dated though especially the carpet needed to be replaced. The gentleman who brought our luggage to our room was friendly and professional. It met our basic needs but has room for improvement.

Great property and excellent staff. We always stay here when we come to Burbank. However, booking through Expedia is 2 stars. I selected and paid for a specific room but was emailed by Expedia that I had been “upgraded” to a different room. It was not an upgrade, it was just an ok room that was a big disappointment.

I loved the decoration, the room was perfectly cleaned and with everything we might need. Even the included breakfast was great!

When I checked into the room, I noticed the bathroom ceiling was leaking, and the drywall was falling. I did call front desk to let them know and someone came to patch it. The pictures are from an hour after they came to fix it. Was pretty disappointing having to deal with that especially since my stay was not cheap.

Staff is amazing and professional The bar is fantastic and every bartender we had was awesome. Lunch was good there too we got chicken blts. Cons: so loud all the time for no reason. It sounded like someone was stomping around and slamming doors all morning. Yikes. price gouging for amenities that are truly lacking or not taken immaculate care of (for the price) Room was dirty; sink, toilet, small weird stain on blanket, dust everywhere. Just needed more attention to detail. Again, for the price. Don’t get fooled by the pictures or the entry way. It needs some tlc so if you tryna spend $ check out a few other options first.

Hotel Amarano is a really wonderful hotel. We stayed 4 nights while visiting friends in the valley, and the hotel is a luxurious home base. The breakfast food and service is outstanding, the pool and hot tub fantastic. We avoided the $45 a night parking by using the plentiful street parking around the hotel.

Very clean hotel, the staff was very friendly and accommodating.. Free Alkaline water bottles while you stayed and they were all over hotel and pool area in a cooler of ice.. Prices were reasonable and the area was very close to Warner Bros and universal Studios..

The hotel Amarano was the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The property was spotless and felt very upscale, the staff were fantastic and very accomedating. We will definetly stay here again as it is conveniently located with tons of things to do close by.

We booked two king bedroom suites for our family of four. We were in town for Universal studios. The hotel was beautiful and very clean. The rooms were perfect and way more spacious than I had expected. Room service was fast and the food was wonderful. Will definitely recommend this little gem to others.

Room service was great, and everyone was so friendly. We've stayed here before, and I'm so glad we came back! My only complaint is the bed could be comfier, but that's just me since I like softer beds. Otherwise, it was perfect!

The website list that there is a shuttle or black car for short transfers and trips. But when we asked there wasn’t one. So his feels dishonest , especially when you have such a high resort fee.

The staff was quick with their valet services and kept the vehicle safe during our stay. When we returned to the hotel around 1am, there was clear instructions on how to go about leaving the vehicle when the valet parking attendant isn’t present. The only minor inconvenience exiting the place because it’s right next to the main road with a turning light just north of the hotel during traffic hours, but it’s still something that’s manageable and can easily be handled. The water pressure of the bathroom was good. Strong toilet pressure and decent shower water pressure. I would 10/10 stay again

I did not like tho 2 red stains on my sheets. It was definitely washed but if stains don’t go out they should not use them. I also found only one pair of slippers despite that I got room for 2. Bathrobes were nice. Food is pretty expensive there and not really tasty. I would still recommend this place because of location, nice staff, charming interior and absolutely clean and peaceful backyard and hot top.

The next morning, I went down to speak with the staff. The staff I spoke with was friendly and apologetic, but unfortunately, he wasn’t the manager. He mentioned taking off a few drink charges from the bill, but I only noticed one removed. I appreciate his demeanor and effort, and I don’t want to fault the staff personally — he did what he could within his role. That being said, finding blood on hotel bedding is a serious hygiene issue, and it made me feel very uncomfortable during my stay. I hope management takes this seriously and improves their cleanliness standards going forward.

Our stay had both positives and negatives. First, be aware of the hidden fees: a $40+tax amenities fee and a steep $45+tax per night parking fee. On the bright side, the valet service was excellent, and the doorman provided outstanding service—always welcoming us with a warm smile, which we truly appreciated. However, room service was disappointing. The bed sheets weren’t properly made, dirty cups were left in the room, toilet paper wasn’t refilled, and new towels were rarely provided—most were simply refolded from the damp, used ones. To top it off, we even saw a bug crawling on the restroom floor. Overall, the staff at the front entrance was great, but the housekeeping and extra fees left us feeling like the stay wasn’t worth the price.

Wonderful, spacious, and secluded hotel! It was so close to everything we wanted to do. Check in was easy (keep in mind that there’s no self parking on site, only valet), rooms were comfortable, and the pool area is so relaxing! Definitely will be coming back

The location and the staff. The first room we were given was hot, smelled like smoke and was on a low floor. We had specifically requested a high floor. The room we then checked in to had no working air conditioning - the temperature outdoors was about 100 degrees and the temperature in our room never went below 78 degrees. On a couple of the hottest days of the year - it was awful. The front desk said that since we had prepaid through booking.com they could not issue us even a partial refund for this unsafe and disastrous room.

We didn't even get the room type we booked, but they thought that was ok because they "upgraded" us to a Jr suite, which disnt have enough beds for our family. One thing to note is that the hotel does not have self-parking on site — valet parking is required and costs around $40 per day. While it is an added expense, the convenience made it worthwhile, as you can come and go freely while the staff parks your car for you. We appreciated that the hotel allowed late check-out, which gave us extra time to relax before leaving. The pool area was clean and well-maintained, and the kids had a great time enjoying it. The staff was generally friendly and accommodating, with the exception of one gentleman at check-out who could have been more welcoming. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with great convenience and amenities for families visiting the Burbank area.

We took the double bed option which was the initial room I took that option so kids don’t have to sleep on a sofa bed. We ended up getting an upgrade but with a sofa bed and room cleanliness was very poor, the sofa bed was horrible and extremely uncomfortable. The continental breakfast was a joke, the breakfast included between muffin and a croissant with yogurt and little bit of granola. And some chopped fruits. I wouldn’t waste my money staying here there are far better options near Universal studios.

We just got back from a fun family trip to LA and had a great 2-night stay at Hotel Amarano Burbank. The location and property are fantastic! So close to the Burbank Airport and Universal Studios which made it a breeze to travel around. Grocery store and restaurants right across the street. The hotel had a great continental breakfast, gym, pool, and hot tub. Every staff member we encountered from the front desk to the restaurant, and housekeeping were friendly and helpful! We loved the Hotel Amarano Burbank and will be back!

Location was great. Staff was prompt when asked for things, but we had to ask for a lot. Bedside lamp was broken and never got fixed, towels were stained and they replaced them, housekeeping never refilled the tissues so we had to call and ask for a box. The hotel is old and they're trying to take care of it but it's lacking/they're falling behind. The tub was stained, bathroom door hinges were rusty. Breakfast is good, they cleaned the rooms when we asked, but it was disappointing. We're supposed to get reusable water bottles when we checked in and didn't. It felt like we were given a room that wasn't actually turned over properly. But again the location is perfect and its a good, safe place to sleep.

What an amazing stay at this spectacular hotel, we were in town for a fundraiser at Los Angeles Equestrian Center. The hotel was so lively and welcoming, from the great valet service to the front desk. The restaurant and bar was absolutely stunning and decorated so very cool. We will be staying again soon.

The noise was too much for us. Television noise from the adjacent room was terrible. Thumping from upstairs was loud. Staff yelling to each other in the halls during the early morning hours. I expected a little better from a boutique hotel.
