Comfort Inn & Suites Buford near Mall of Georgia

Looks recently refurbished. Wonderfully clean. Manages to be professional, comfortable, and welcoming at the same time.

Hidden pet fee. Disappointing when you are being charged $75 dollars a night. And no where does it state a pet fee.

What can I say about the comfort in Buford other than it is an amazing hotel and the only place will stay when we’re in that area. We go to visit family and I participate in the American Mart in Atlanta. We find it as an easy commute into Atlanta but yet we have the peace of being outside. The city facilities are exceptionally clean. We sleep like babies on the mattress and the pillows, the rooms are so clean. It doesn’t have a hotel smell. You feel like you’re in the comfort of your home. The staff is like family, friendly, caring to make your stay as enjoyable and peaceful as possible it truly is that. Practice is simple but delicious. My husband loves the sausage gravy and I continue to love the orange juice. We meet nice people when we sit in the breakfast room and I’ve had beautiful conversations truly traveling should not be stressful and if you stay at the comfort in Buford, that’s one thing you’ll never feel. We will be returning again in October and again in January maybe in between who knows but for the time being we are so happy to have such an amazing stay. We love everything it’s also right near the highway and near the mall which I would suggest people visiting.

Very nice hotel. Very clean and well maintained. My only issues were the noisy traffic and the tread mill sign in process that I just couldn't get to work. Disappointing.

The hotel is approximately 1 1/2 hours from the airport. The area is called mall of georgia in buford. Very good location. A lot of restaurants and stores within 5 to 15 minutes from the hotel. Very nice.

The hotel amenities weren't great nor disappointing. OK at best. The staff were great and helpful when they could be. Breakfast was not a highlight. The rooms were decent and seemed to be recently updated. Everything was clean and seemed to be in good working order. Overall, it was a decent stay. No issues whatsoever. Not thrilling either.

From the time we walked through the entrance to the time we departed, we we treated great by all the staff, especially Yeojin! Very clean in lobby, dining area, and our room. Room 208 was spacious and bed comfortable. Will definitely stay here next visit.

The refrigerator in my room was not working even after we plugged it in. There was only one roll of toilet paper in the room (nothing extra). At my property, I did not see a pool.

When I got to my room, there was no toilet paper or towel towels. I had to go to the front office to get those, the staff was OK but less than friendly.

For the two nights my son and I stayed was exceptional and I would stay there again when I come back to Lawrenceville. m sorry, but it wasn't to my liking at all. Only 1 waffle machine. If they added a second waffle machine and upgrade their breakfast items that would improve that part of anyone's stay.

The rooms seemed unfinished and a little gross. They looked nothing like the pictures.

Room was good but there were no facial tissues. TV programs were a bit small on the selections. It was an excellent location for my needs. Thanks!!!

They always charge my card $150 for incidentals! Only supposed to put a hold on it but they actually run the card! Happened 3 times at this place!

Booked a room online and paid got inside in person and the rude short young lady screamed me down that a Deposit was needed and online it said no Incidental Deposit was needed if paid online so her rudeness butt said that was nothing she was gona do about it and I left and canceled I will never go there again and it’s kind of funny how empty and scary the place is probably because of there no Hospitality!!

Just the location When we got there the air was broke they swapped up to another room, then that room had no hot water I asked for our money back they said they will swap us to another room at 11 at night we asked for our money back and finally they did a refund

The heater was out and it was doing the winter storm,they changed the room 7 hours later. Then the sofa bed would not come out took them 15 minutes to get that open, remind you I paid 25 for early check in. Not that friendly. Pretty clean place. But can spend my money somewhere it’s appreciated

The property is very dated for the price it is not worth it room was very dark decor was depressing it was not what I’m used to but the ladies that clean do a very good job.

I didn’t like anything about the property but especially the staff was horrible. They didn’t know where any of the cleaning stuff was like hand sanitizer so the containers just stayed empty and the hotel also had plumbing issues but lied to me at checkin and said everything was fine so I wouldn’t ask for a refund

Staff was friendly. Felt like older hotel. Lots of little things didn’t quite work. The water was turned off for a few hours at one point. The price was luxury the delivery was Motel 6. Not worth what we paid.

We were on the 2nd floor, we had to move rooms still on the 2nd floor Because of an infestation of ants The 2nd room also had an infestation of ants which we were trying to control for the 4 days we were there.

I enjoyed my stay but I found the bed to be uncomfortable and extremely firm.

Spider on bathroom floor first night, morning ants all over in bathroom, next night middle night other bugs everywhere on bathroom floor last morning went to use towel filled with baby ants I stay at a lot of Holiday Express this was very old needed updating

Also the bed was a horrible mattress with hard springs sticking out! I would strongly suggest finding better accommodations then this over priced place

The property was convenient for my reason for visiting Georgia. The hostess I met was very courteous and friendly!

They threatened to cancel my reservation after trying to charge my card before I even arrived due to them being fully booked. After getting that figured and finding out it was an issue with there system and not my cars we arrived at the hotel several hours later and was given a room that was already occupied. Come to find out they had canceled my reservation and given our room to someone else, but still managed to charge me before I showed up. Miraculously despite being “fully booked and having people calling left and right for rooms” they had the exact same room layout I had booked available. Our 6 year old was scared all night that someone was going to walk in our room like we had done to someone earlier. After all the trouble and confusion of the whole ordeal we were offered a free soda for the trouble. Won’t be staying here again.

This hotel is outdated and needs a major refresh.When you walk in The hotels smells old and has a certian stench. When you check in they had a attitude and rush the whole experince. You have the choice of stairs or a elavator. we choice the elavator. Mind you the hotel only has 3 floors. when we got onto the elevator it was old and had trouble moving. When we got into our room. It was old and outdated and it had the same stench. It had a very small tv and super small chair and bed. Just avoid this hotel at all cost!!

All I can tell you is that I'm an annual customer of this Hotel traveling from NY every Christmas Week, when school lets out in May, & the 1st week of August spending time with my Step Daughter who goes to School In Georgia.My wife & I were very disappointed this stay.The Quality was definitely subpar to the Continental Breakfast where the 4 days couldn't make waffles or pancakes,no fresh pastries, & very limited variety of fruit.This was the first time where our King Size Bed wasn't comfortable & the pillows were paper thin where my wife & I would get up in the morning complaining about pains in our neck.The Shampoo,Conditioner & Body Soap rack in the shower were low.I literally had to get out of the Shower & stop the water because there was no body soap.Had to call the Front Desk to have someone come up to refill the Rack.I'm an IHG Regular especially at this Hotel.My wife & I was very disappointed with this previous stay.

The property was filthy, smelled horribly disgusting and overpowering of mold and menthol. Fans in the hallways to dry soaking wet floors from a flood. Trash, towels, and layers of filth under the beds. Dirty bathroom and bathtub. Dirty old carpets in hallways. Filthy furniture. Dirty walls. Dark and dreary. Rude staff. Non existent management. We left and did not stay. And we were still charged $600! We had to find a new hotel at 10pm with our toddlers and family. The 800 # kept disconnecting us. No resolution. No custom service. Terrible.

The property was across the street from a 24 hour store. It was also near restaurants. The only thing I did not like was that the toilet kept running after it was flushed. Everything else was great!

Booked and arrived late during a road trip; greeted warmly by an excellent front desk employee named Jocelyn. She took the time to figure out the best room for my situation and got me some snacks as I’d be sleeping in. She was excellent, the room was quiet, and the A/C wasn’t too loud. Very pleased!

The property is dirty and has bed bugs . We moved out the same night.

Booked 2 rooms. One was ok but the ac made such a loud racket. The other reeked of cigarette smoke. When asked to switch, were assigned to room that already had guests in it! Finally, since they were out of rooms, was upgraded to a suite. The room was fine, but at 10 am the next morning, after we had left for the day, front desk called and said they needed to move us since they needed that room for another guest. Since we were not at the hotel, and they couldn't move our luggage, said we could keep the room and they would have to figure something out. Have never been asked to move halfway through a stay due to their error, but was consistent with the stay this weekend.

The hotel itself was nice but the rooms were disappointing. Beds were very uncomfortable and the floor we stayed in smelled like dirty diapers. The staff were extremely friendly though. I feel like the rooms just need a upgrade for the price.

It was an outstanding stay. I was there 5 nights. The staff was great easy check in and easy check out. The property was clean and easy to get to. Close to mall and a lot of dinning options.

The room furnishings and finish was very worn and outdated. I could hear the springs in the very firm king mattress as I rolled around trying to get comfortable. So i did not rest like I desperately needed. When I went to take a shower, the odor of mildew was overwhelming due to the fact the tub was holding water at the drain. The shower curtain rod was barely hanging, was afraid to sit in the chair that had been well used... The room looked as if it had been used to store old furniture, could go on. Would not recommend!!!

Great hotel location. Very comfortable rooms with two queen beds, free wifi, nice staff and very clean overall. Went with my daughter for a volleyball tournament and it was very close to highways and had quite a few places to eat around. Only 30 minutes from downtown ATL which made it a nice ride.
