Great Friendly front desk staff..Room was clean and comfortable..only complaints were a non working elevator.

The staff were very nice and professional. The room was clean. The elevator wasn’t working but they had called ahead of time to let us know but I couldn’t find another hotel that was the same price or less in the area we wanted to we decided to stay there. The bed wasn’t very comfortable for us. Good if you like soft mattress, we prefer something a bit more firm. The hotel was a perfect location for our visit.

Our room was very clean & spacious. I appreciated having a kitchenette attached, as it gave us the flexibility to cook if we wanted to. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was perfect, on the main road of town with a 5 minute drive to surrounding stores & restaurants. Our only issue was the elevator being out of service, but otherwise we enjoyed our stay! We look forward to rebooking in the near future.

Everything went great for our one night stay. The front desk was very friendly and accommodating with a baby crib that I requested. The room was clean and comfortable, would definitely stay again if we’re in the area.

This facility was clean and well maintained: the gym was really nice and everything worked, the roos were clean top to bottom (Baseboards, caulking in bathroom- so wel taken care of). The kicthen was perfection (clean and stocked with everything). Bed was comfy with firm and soft pillows. The staff was the star: from the vivacious and informative ‘Vi” on the night shift, to the welcoming and helpful “Cindy” at check out, the cheerful the house keepers, to the sweet young man who mopped the floors each day- they have a culture of excellence and customer service which we experienced with every single associate. We felt welcome and any concern we had was met with genuine sincerity and addressed to our satisfaction. We will be coming back to this facility on our next visit!!!

There were zero redeeming qualities Carpet was soaking wet, window didn't latch closed while an unprecedented wind storm was occurring, door didn't latch closed so the room sounded haunted or like the door was constantly being tested all night. Mold on walls was visible from floor to top of window that spanned AC unit to corner by bed.

Room was very clean. They air them out after each guest - open window and door. Staff was very friendly. Loved the coffee! Fresh ground beans each time. And it’s free. Kitchenette was adequately equipped. Homey feel. Big closet and nice storage areas.

This is where I love to stay when I’m in town for business & where I suggest my family to stay as well when they’re here. It’s affordable but very clean and comfortable, the rooms are spacious and the kitchenette that comes with each room is perfect if you’re staying for multiple days & enjoy being able prep & cook your own meals while traveling. I truly enjoy the staff as well (Vee) is wonderful and so very helpful. The sweetest staff ever! If you want an affordable, clean and comfy place to stay with an amazing staff, you should definitely consider staying here during your travels!

The room was neat but could use deep cleaning. Problem was hotel trying to sneak additional charge to the room even though it was only $2 it makes you wonder how many customers they do it too and how many just ignore and pay it.

The staff and the facility were excellent. They were very accommodating, as we needed to rush to go off to a wedding. We were very impressed with the room size.The hotel was extremely clean, very quiet and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely book at Candlewood for our next trip.

I did not do my research and was not aware that pets were allowed. Smell of the hotel was horrible. From the outside they remodeled it but from the inside is a little beat up. Hotel did not offer breakfast.

The hotel is pleasant enough in all respects. Mainly, for us, it's convenient for our family visits. The only big negative is beyond the control of the staff and current ownership. The original construction was obviously done on the cheap. The walls are paper thin and one or two noisy guests can really detract from the hotel experience.

Location was good for what we were looking for, staff was friendly, room was large and beds were okay. Our room reeked of cigarette smoke due to the smoking section was outside our window. Rooms were cleaned only once a week. We found lots of pubic hair and dried pee on the toilet seat.

The cleaning that housekeeping did was half done and not frequent enough. At least let patrons be able to have the tools to more frequently clean their own rooms. The room was not equipped properly after cleaning. I had to call and ask many times for things that should have been in the room (hand soap, body wash, towels, kitchen towels, dish soap, etc.)

Small issue, they do not clean you room...I believe it is only 7 days or more. I stayed 5 days and feel the room should be cleaned during that time.

The property was exceedingly clean. The staff were very professional and they made our stay comfortable. I mentioned this to the front desk when we checked out. He was very humble and said that it was the staff that did all the work. He didn’t take any of the credit. It takes all of the staff to make a difference. We also were impressed on how quiet it was. All was great.

The beds were comfy, the rooms are big. The staff were absolutely the sweetest and the most helpful. I think they’re right on par with Disney on how friendly they are. The rooms need them updating & I think the price is a bit too high

This was one of the most immaculate hotels we have stayed at in a long time. Everyone at the front desk was very nice. The place just looked and smelled so clean. We had the King Suite with the full kitchen, King Bedroom and pull out couch full bed.So much room for the price we paid as we had three people.Very clean and on the second floor was close to the gym and pool on the first floor.We were 2 miles from my daughter who lives in Buda having a baby shower that weekend.55 inch screen TV in the King bedroom and 40 inch screen in the huge living room area.Loved the convenience to restaurants and grocery stores as it’s centrally located to almost everything.Will be coming here again soon and definitely a 5 star experience.

My husband and I were in town for a motorcycle class. When we arrived, the staff were polite and informational. The room was comfortable and clean. It had amenities we were not expecting like the kitchenette had all of the dishes and cookware you would need. The bathroom was well lit. The closet was huge. Ample storage. The only thing in the room that we were a little uneasy about is the little recliner seem to have been heavily used and had clear markings where someone's head would rest on a chair. Overall, our stay was pleasant and we would stay here again if needed.

Front desk person named “V” was very helpful when my son got sick that night and asked how he was doing when we returned from emergency room front desk Makayla was very knowledgeable about amenities and very welcoming. I do think that it was a bit pricey and suggest maybe adding in free breakfast and the cereal to buy for the kids was quite expensive $1 cup in store was $3. Also your hotel is located near a facility that hosts basketball and sporting events and maybe y’all consider selling Gatorade or Powerade I had to go to store to get those things. The pressure in bathroom for water was great. Thanks for having free laundry. That room needs a little better ventilation was quite humid and messed with my asthma. Parking was great even though there were men drinking in parking lot.

The rooms need a little update and the restroom had black spots in the ceiling and the wall had what it looked like vomit splattered. I wouldn’t stay there again.

The hotel is located in an industrial area. Although quiet and clean, there's not a lot of restaurant choices immediately around the hotel.

I asked for more towels and they told me to go to the laundry room with the dirty towels so they could give me clean ones. I had never heard anything like that before, the room was not clean properly, there was hair on the bed, in the bathtub, I told them if they could clean it the room the next day since I stayed two nights and they told me that they only clean once when you leave the room. 👎

I like that they have each room with a fully functional kitchen so that you do not need to get out to eat if you don't want to. They also have a nice pantry in the lobby stocked up with whatever snacks, food or supplies you may need. I will continue to give Candlewood Suites in Buda or wherever I'm going since I know I'm going to be treated well and have a comfortable stay.

I will continue to give Candlewood Suites in Buda or wherever I'm going since I know I'm going to be treated well and have a comfortable stay.

It took 30 minutes to check in because we had to wait as the room was still being cleaned even though it was after the allotted check in time. We were in town for a wedding and thus had no time to freshen up and literally arrived 2 minutes before the procession started. Other than that, the stay was fine.

Easy to get too

This hotel was clean and the employees were friendly. Easy to access from the freeway and close to the Outlet Malls. Normally this type of hotel where people stay more long term, smell like cigarette smoke but not this one. What a relief!

1. maintenance issues on various visits, e.g. phone not working; bedside lamp missing bulb; microwave not working; dishwasher not working. 2. Pet fee does not distinguish between small and large dogs, e.g. nightly fee of $25 is same for a 15 lb. dog as it is for a 150 lb. dog. On a positive note, the staff is friendly and professional.

Great hotel with all the amenities. I like to have the comfort of a kitchen .it even had a full size refrigerator. A nice space sitting atea . The rooms are roomy.

This hotel has it all . The suites come complete with everything you need for your stay away from home . Everyone is friendly and willing to help.

It was nice to have a kitchen in the room along with utensils and plates. They also provided items to wash your own dishes. Everything was better than expected for our stay!

Mattress was like a bunch of lumpy pillows. Uneven and way too soft to be even remotely comfortable. Previous room at this property has a decent bed so not sure what the deal was with this one.

I did not like that you are paying for a hotel that has outdoor swimming pool and swimming pool was not functioning the water was ugly, you would think they suppost to put that in the advertisement that the pool is not working.

Perfect midpoint between Austin and San Marcos area for spending time on the river and downtown Austin

Spotlessly clean in room and lobby, in-room kitchen fridge etc… only comment is buy a couple more baggage carts. Keep doing what you are doing.

This was the best stay I have ever had, I would recommend this place to anyone.
