Good location to the hwy. It was as clean as they could make it and the room was comfortable It was very dated and the ac was dripping in the floor so it smelled very musty.

The bed was high and difficult to climb in. I forgot to see if there was a step stool to help. I thought there would at least be fruit and maybe something else besides the coffee.

Very rough part of town… adjacent buildings with boarded windows and people loitering at all hours. Right next to a loud bar. Six foot fence around property, I think that’s enough said. Only positive the doors are internal and not external.

Breakfast was sort of weak—one selection of cold cereal, juice, coffee. No bread, no pastries. ALSO—tv would not turn on with remote, which looked like something had chewed on it. When I got a replacement remote, it too did not work!! Then I discovered the tv was UNPLUGGED! This seems like a minor check that should be made when prepping a room.

Only a little “problem “, and i didn’t bother to mention to the front desk: the wall a/c-heat unit is very loud! Felt like I would disturb neighbors if i turned the tv up loud enough to hear over it. But, like i said, not enough to be a deal-breaker.

The price was great, but the staff was completely unprofessional. It definitely was a bit divey, but that wasn't the problem. The problem was the blood stains all over the walls, likely from needle users. There was a lot of foot traffic in and out of the hotel and around it. Staff was completely unprofessional and was acting sketchy, and didn't appear surprised to hear , nor did they care. No uniforms , I thought eh whatever, but wheb we got to our first room in 119, it reeked of cat piss, and the floor boards were lifting. I didnt get a chance to check the walls because I immediately went to front desk and requested a new room, to wh8ch again no surprise, no sorry, and asked me , "Did you guys mess up the beds or anything? " so you know no one was going in there and cleaning it , even after we went in there. We get switched to 120 right across the hall , smelled better at first until about 5 minutes, I started looking around, and theres the blood, some weird schmegma on the floor, stains everywhere, and burn holes in the blankets of a non-smoking room/hotel. Its now after midnight so I cant make a reservation anywhere for a new hotel, so Im looking at the 7 other hotels that are practically on top of eachother and checked reviews, and everyone said they and bugs an roaches in the other hotels too!!! So, I start researching places found a quality inn in Darien, 12 minutes away, for more money, and I called and told them whats up and they said they would gladly give me a room. I only needed one night. It was disgusting. I called the parent company the next morning from the georgeous quality inn, and got a refund for the super 8 hotel, in Brunswick. Read up top. It was disgusting, blood on walls, definately from needle users, doors didn't lock properly, the door to outside had a key card lock but it was clearly disabled, as you just had to pull the door open, no key card needed. Regardless of location and price there should ve a level of professionalism, and a standard to uphold as you are liable for the cleanliness of the hotel and being up to code! This hitek is privately owned franchise with Wyndham as the parent company. Shut this lady down! People will get sick in this place, and animals, since its pet friendly. It us a disservice and they even falsely advertise their hotel in the pictures, bu uaing a different super 8 location pictures for their advertisement, which is purposefully misleading , false advertising, and a disservice to the public, travelers abroad, and the community. This is shameful as human beings to allow this to continue any further! And should be illegal !

An obvious older property that has been poorly maintained. Example is bathroom paint was not carefully done and structures like toilet paper dispenser had paint on it. Staff were very friendly and helpful and for the price we paid I suppose things were acceptable.

For a two star hotel, this was as good as expected. I felt the lobby, room including bathroom were all quite clean. The hallways are hot and smell of smoke but the AC worked very well in our room. The continental breakfast is pretty sparse so don’t expect that to ride you over. In general, a good value for the money.

I was then given a key to another room when going up I was unable to get into the room a child explained he had the master key & walked in. It was someone else’s room. We were there for a church event, we booked two non smoking rooms, our check in was good, I couldn't get the TV to work, got the gentleman at the desk to come fix it for me and he did. When coming in from church there was a lot of cigarettes smell but worse was a room across from our rooms smelled of heavy weed smell so bad that it made me gag and I felt like I was going to be sick, this was the non smoking rooms. The rooms was cleaned and the morning personel was generous but the night workers was probably the ones that was smoking weed, strange people was hanging out in the breakfast area. I would not have a problem staying there again if the weed situation was taken care of, I heard another lady complaining about it also

The bed was very comfortable. The room was fine, could have been cleaner. The night stand had gum stuck on one side. And the top of the nightstand had fingerprints. The water had a weird smell.

The hotel was nice for the price. It wasn't in the best part of town buy I was traveling with friends. I would not recommend walking outside at night alone. Elevator had and old, musky smell. But, the room was clean and bed was comfy.

Very spacious parking lot , we were able to park our u-haul truck with auto transport , leaving plenty of space for other guests .

I left and found a better hotel. And when I checked my credit card online she had double billed me!!! This place needs a visit from the health department.

The ceiling seems to be in not great condition in the halls as well as the whole place had a bad smell and the hall smelled like dog pooo. Pictures were misleading as we're not as nice as seemed

The hotel is above average in its class. The room was well appointed and kept. The bed was exceptionally comfy. Definitely would return if I visit the area again. The hotel was close to Brunswick, St Simons Island and Jekyll Island.

The AC is a loud and inefficient window unit which had to be set super low to cool the room off and then short cycled over and over all night making it hard to sleep even for someone that doesn’t mind noise. The breakfast area was super small which forced people had to navigate around each other in order to get their minimal breakfast. The breakfast tables were filthy which made it worse that there was signs posted that food was only allowed to be eaten in the breakfast area and not allowed to be taken back to the room I rented. Lastly I found the bed very itchy and made me feel like I should keep checking my skin for bites. I didn’t see any bugs but there was a level of discomfort for my 3 day stay. All in all I would choose another hotel for my stay in Brunswick next time.

Staff checking in, not nice, we were obviously bothering her by checking in. The room was stinky and smelled like either mold or musty, it was terrible. Only good thing was the tv!

Just a mistake of a hotel choice and another disaster from Hotels.com Hotel is in a bad part of town and we heard gunshots outside, ambulance throughout the night and random peoe outside the room that we were afraid to go outside. Don't stay here.

Simple, no frills. The bed was clean and comfortable and the pillows were nice and soft! The bathroom mirror was a bit streaky, but that was the only negative I have about the place. We were pleasantly surprised. All we expected was a decent nights' sleep, and this place over-delivered on that. Best Super 8 I've stayed in.

Overall it was ok. The desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. She didn’t hesitate to place me in another room when I requested, due to FLETC students being extremely loud at 11 pm. The building itself is overdue for an overhaul, and some of the other guests were sketchy looking. It was obvious some illegal drug use was going on. The rooms was clean, overall about what I expected for the cost.

Furniture stained/dirty. Bedspread dirty with some tears. Needed a good overall cleaning. TV appeared new and in good shape. W-fi good.

We were rudely awakened by a COLD shower (literally no hot water). At checkout the clerk said we weren't the only ones and made no apology or amends!

Old hotel not worth the money. It was clean and the beds were comfortable but the toilet was so low, if you have any mobility issues, you can't get off of it and the ac is either on or off, no set temp. It wasnt awful but not worth 93$ a night.

Spent two nights here waiting out hurricane Dorian. Staff were friendly, room and bed was comfy. Pet friendly for our two kitties too.

This hotel has seen better days - however, the room was clean and the staff very friendly. It is just off the interstate amongst 3 vacant hotels and 1 restaurant. Used my "free" night, would not have paid advertised rate for this hotel...

Location is convenient. Breakfast is minimal. A lot of noise from the interstate and the window A/C unit. The front desk gave us a smoking room when we requested for a non-smoking in our reservation, had to talk to them to change.

It was not clean at all, if there was another hotel available, I would have definitely been leaving. The sheets and blankets had spots and holes in them. My son had hair in his be when he pulled back the cover. the light switches was dirty, the curtains had stains. It was loud and smelled like weed and cigarettes.

The rooms were unusually small and bathroom was not well cleaned. When we woke the following morning, two of the three staying in the room had small red spots on our arms and legs. After checking out, I remembered I left a pair of my shoes in the room. When I went back to retrieve them, the housekeeper was cleaning and said she had not seen them. She had clearly taken them (as I noticed she would wear about the same size) and didn’t expect that I would return. This was reported to the front desk, but of course there was nothing to be done. Be very cautious of this location!

The location met our needs and was next to a gas station.The two queen beds were restful. For a one night stop and go with pets it was okay.

The room wreaked the smell of smoke. The bedding had cigarette burns. The room would not cool off. Very disappointed.

I was placed in a smoking room that smelled terrible. The linens were dirty and stained. The comforters were old with and had cigarette burns.

The hotel was comfortable and the service was very good. The clerk who signed us in was very friendly and helpful. We will stay again
