    This place was exactly what I needed. It was clean, safe, parking was easy and close to the door. It was right next to the highway, which is what I wanted. Dark curtains so I could sleep during the day. Very quiet, the people who worked there were very friendly. I will be back.

    Our room had a large patched hole in the wall, walls and floors in the room looked somewhat dirty or heavy wear, and there was hair on the toilet seat when we arrived. The biggest issue, however, was the air conditioner. It made an incredibly loud noise that sounded like an airplane taking off and would continue for extended periods. It kept us awake most of the night. We were only stopping for a few hours of sleep during a long road trip and were already exhausted, so we ultimately turned the unit off and tried to sleep in the heat rather than repack and request a room change. As if the lack of sleep wasn't enough, the alarm clock went off at 6:00 AM, clearly having been left set by a previous guest and not checked by housekeeping. The one positive was the gentleman who checked us in and the breakfast attendant. We did politely share our experience when checking out and hope the feedback made it to the appropriate person. At the very least, we hope the air conditioner in that room is repaired so future guests don't have the same experience.

    The room was clean! Most of the staff were horrible!! We were given the wrong time for breakfast at check-in. The next morning, we went to breakfast and the lady was shutting down early. I asked her about it and she was very nasty and rude! She said she was also the night auditor and she would have never told me that! I told her she didn’t tell me that! She went to the back and started laughing as loud as she could and then called someone. The next morning, I waited for the GM to come out and see me! She knew I was waiting and made me wait for over two hours in the lobby to see her while she conducted interviews! My complaints as a guest didn’t matter to her! I told her the pictures on the site didn’t not match what was actually there! No gas grills, no Keurigs in the rooms, no auto coffee machine in the lobby and no sofa in our room! She claims she called her boss and could only give us half off for another night’s stay! She was supposed to also credit our account 1,500 points and we only got 5,000. The younger girl at the desk was also very nasty speaking when I kept asking where the MGR was! The lady that checked us in was nice and the breakfast lady Monday and Tuesday was very nice! The MGR, the other breakfast lady and the other young desk lady were some of the rudest people I have EVER encountered! “She’s not going to tell you anymore then I’ve already told you!” “She said to checkout and wait for her in the lobby until she can get to you!” We are DONE with this brand!

    We were just passing through on our way to FL and didn't spend much time there. It was nice and clean. The room was sufficient in size and the beds were comfortable enough. The lighting was very minimal. It definitely needed more lamps. It was very dark and difficult to see.

    Property is clean and modern. Plenty of parking even over the busy Memorial Day weekend. Check in and out was very easy. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff. Lots of reviews mentioned the breakfast was a plus. I’m going to have to disagree. It’s standard, meh, “free” hotel breakfast. Don’t get there towards the end either because not much to choose from. The room was clean and stocked with plenty of towels. Small closet. Mattress and pillows very comfortable. The in room AC wasn’t too loud. Rooms are insulated well, because it was very quiet overnight. Very appreciative of that! All in all a pleasant stay. I recommend and would stay again, but definitely going out to get breakfast.

    Breakfast was good. Location is nice easy access from interstate 95. Close to Saint Simon’s island and historic downtown Brunswick. Plenty of shopping and dining close by. Hotel room safe was not working properly the batteries needed replacing.

    The room was generally fine and served its purpose, but there were a couple of issues worth mentioning. The room had a musty smell that was noticeable throughout the stay, and the shower soap dispenser was empty on arrival. Neither issue was a dealbreaker, but small details like these make a difference in the overall experience. Hopefully housekeeping can stay on top of these things — otherwise the stay was okay.

    Great hotel for the money, BUT breakfast starting at 7AM on weekends is a problem for those of us who want to get on the road early. This is a tourist area and breakfast should start at 6AM every day, not just M-F. I felt I was a hostage for an hour where I should have been an hour down I-95 by the time they opened breakfast. Not a big deal, but a dealbreaker for me.

    The lobby of the property was very welcoming and clean. I’m not sure what air freshener they were using, but it smelled like a spa! The staff was absolutely wonderful, and Ms. Rhonda was fantastic. We were checking in for a one-night stay; however, there was a large checkout occurring from guests who had been staying at the hotel for approximately three months. Due to a shortage of housekeeping staff, turning over the rooms appeared to be a challenge. Unfortunately, our room was not cleaned properly. The shower was not clean, the toilet had a dark ring in it, and there were a few sticky spots on the floors. Understanding the circumstances, we simply informed the front desk before checking out. Overall, we understand that situations like this can happen, and we would still visit the property again.

    The location was good. A room had a large hole in the wall behind the door that was halfway patched so there was dust from that on the floor. The floors were also dirty. As was the toilet bowl in the bathroom it didn’t look like it had been cleaned. We requested a new room, but we were told they were sold out and couldn’t do anything about it. The lady at the front desk, Destiny, said she would leave a note for the manager when I asked if we could get a discount. The next morning, the lady at the front desk told us that they were no notes left for the manager and that she couldn’t give us any kind of discount because we had made the booking through Booking.com. We were also unfortunate enough to be located above a patio, we were staying on the second floor, and there was a group of men that were sitting out there till close to two in the morning playing music past 10 and then laughing and talking loudly till about 2 AM. Needless to say I didn’t get much sleep. However, I do have to give credit to the manager, Brandy, since she called us on Monday after our stay and said she had deposited 5000 points to our Wyndham rewards account since we are Wyndham members, and apologized for our trouble.

    2nd time staying here in two years. Both times were great. A little pricier than you can find in the area but the breakfast is great, seating area for breakfast really comfortable, the small outdoor pool is great, ample easy access parking, dogs allowed, laundry area was also great. The beds are very comfortable, housekeeping staff nice. They will come in and change your sheets and towels daily which is a plus that I don’t experience everywhere I travel. Easy to opt out of too. Small area to buy essentials in lobby and very easy access to 95 north and south. Easy on and off exit 38 if you need that

    I asked to speak to the manager, and was told she was off that day. I left my number (along with my problem) and requested that she call me. After not receiving the requested call, I tried to contact her directly. No one picked up at the local hotel number. I reached out to La Quinta corporate who was ultimately able to connect me to the manager. The manager was less than helpful, indicating she’d refund my $25 per fee but couldn’t help me otherwise since I paid through Orbitz. She didn’t refund my pet fee; and when I reached out through Orbitz- Orbitz similarly was refused any satisfaction from the hotel. The hotel stay was uncomfortable due to the heat, but the unsympathetic and surly attitude of the manager is ultimately why I’m writing this negative review.

    Great location. Felt new but it isn’t so they take good care of the property. Front desk staff very nice. Nice sized room and bathroom. What’s with all those little pillows on every motel bed recently. They are very annoying to try to sleep on! Noisy neighbors above us! The bedside lights could only be turned on and off if you got out of the bed!

    The room itself was fairly clean and the staff was very nice, but that was the only good thing. Sorry, but this hotel is no where near an 8.8 as shown on hotels.com. The property was run down and dirty. Garbage and cigarette butts on the ground. Hallways and stair ways and elevators were dirty. Needs an overhaul. We travel for business approximately 250 nights per year and this hotel is not a place we would go back.

    Pros- Staff was super nice, property itself is well kept. Close to I95. Breakfast was also good. Cons- Rooms are dark, Our first room 410 carpet and furniture were dirty and stained. Wall by closet had spot stains, Dog food found in corners by door entrance. Bathroom shower dirty, bathroom glass door dirty. We requested another room and got 409 a bit better but not by much. So bottom line La Quinta at this location needs attention to the outdated rooms and the cleaning of the rooms.

    The first we got wasnt the cleanest, especially the bathroom. Had mold all around the lower trim and garbage bin still had stuff in it. I saw 5 florida wood roachs in the bathroom. Killed 1 afger i took a photo of it and the others took off. Went down stairs and asked for a new room. Got into that room and the washroom again wasnt ghe cleanest smells like mold. I took a shower in the morning and the shower head was spraying everywhere or the curtain rod and got all my clean clothes wet. We had to put the towels all on the floor to dry it up.

    The hotel was definitely nice and new. Rooms were super clean. Plenty of room for the puppy to go outside and do her business. Also, the pet fee was very reasonable. Everyone seemed very friendly. I only complaint is the breakfast was awful! Potatoes were completely raw. The gravy didn't have any biscuits to go with it and there was no other meat options. So someone that is watching their sugar intake didn't have much to choose from other than a hard-boiled egg. I was shocked since the other review is all say that the breakfast was amazing. I did not have that same experience.

    The parking lot is well lit. The beds were supportive. After a long day of traveling and bumper to bumper traffic was greeted by a sweet lady to welcome us in and while checking out another sweet lady! This is our fourth stay and again will be back!

    The bathrooms all have stand up showers with good water pressure. Plenty of towels. Bed was comfortable, however the pillows were very thick (I prefer a thinner pillow). If you are staying in Brunswick, I would recommend staying in this Hotel.

    Biggest stand-out goes to the very friendly and competent staff. 10/10! From the front desk ladies to the kitchen staff, each was positive and helpful.The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Location was great for a roadie stopover, with ALDI and several dining options nearby. Both negatives were minor — disposable cutlery and paper plates instead of the real version and only fat bed pillows —a personal dislike.

    This hotel is the absolute best in Brunswick ! If you have a dog, don’t bother with the others in Brunswick as they charge you ridiculous fees for the pet fee.. the rooms are immaculate and the beds are so comfy ! Natasha at the desk is so sweet and so welcoming . Highly recommend this hotel!

    The parking area felt safe. It was the breakfast that was a disappointment. We were told when we checked in, breakfast was served at 6:00 Am. We wanted to get a early start. So we went down at 6:40. It doesn't open until 7:00 on the weekends. So we waited, because we have stayed here before and breakfast was good. 7:00 comes they open the doors to let us in. We get our breakfast and everything is cold, and they just opened up. Also our A/C didn't work. It was a disappointment this time. We have a reservation on the 21 of this month. Hopefully it will be better.

    Starting with front desk, very smooth check in & out. Very friendly and informative. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and had several pillow options on bed to suit any preference. Always stop here when passing through because I’m almost always traveling with my dog. I don’t eat breakfast before I leave so I can’t comment but the coffee is always good. Would absolutely recommend.

    There was hair all in our bed like the sheets weren’t washed. We checked in pretty late, and tried to call down to front desk and it didnt get picked up to handle the situation. Had to sleep on top of the comforter

    Facilities are very nice except room whose needs repairs especially lighting. Was awakened from sleep by someone lying on carpet right with back against outside of my unit taking incessantly outside my room at 11:30 pm. Finally told him to move which he did.     Bed comfortable, but AC thermostat didn't allow cooling, with 100 degree weather outside, just blasted out heat. Most uncomfortable by morning. Receptionist was not apologetic, just mentioned she'd tell maintenance.

    Hotel lobby is phenomenal the room o was in not so much. It had an old rug that was ripped at the edges. I stood two days and room services never came. Plus the water in the swimming pool was murky. This is my second time staying here. The reason why I came back was because the first time I stood everything about the hotel was perfect. But their fitness was definitely up to par.

    Kudos to the front desk associate, Brandon. He is always smiling, very helpful, fun. He loved my pup and my pup loved him. One suggestion is since you have plates in the deluxe queen room, why not add cutlery? We had take out and had to sneak into the breakfast area to get forks and knives. Hard to cut meat with plastic knives!

    A/c noisy. Can only run on high to cool. Set it to low and it blows hot air. Need to replace all the a/c control panels to set easy. Refrigerator ran constantly. The plate on the shower handle not attached. Whoever that tried to fix a hole did a lousy job. Couldn’t smooth the patch work and paint job was lousy. Direct Tv guide channels didn’t work right. Would never stay at another Laquinta hotel again. Kids should be on the first floor staying. Running around can be heard below

    I made the reservation for Friday night to Saturday morning but the reservation site changed it to Saturday night to Sunday morning & we didn’t find out until we got to LaQuinta where your desk employee said they were booked full but your desk employee made a suggestion for Country Inn down the road which had vacancies which was very helpful!

    The property was fine but I feel taken advantage of because I paid extra specifically for a deluxe queen suite with a kitchenette, and when I got there, I was given a lower quality room with no kitchenette. I was basically told " Too bad so sad Expedia overbooked us and we can't refund the difference.It's for the price of the rooms."

    We have been to this hotel a lot on our trips back and forth. We loved it but it’s getting more and more worn down. The couch was so stained it was disgusting, the AC barely worked, and the fridge didn’t work at all. Very disappointing

    We had a really nice room. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Our room had two TVs. It was nicely decorated. Only complaint we had was kids running in the room above us till about 1am. I wish hotels would put families with kids on the lower levels. Otherwise we was very happy with our stay.

    The hotel said, no issue, just talk to the app. I did and then I was denied the refund, even when I was told from 2 different people in the front desk, that was not a problem. Very unprofessional way to avoid dealing with the issue.

    It was fairly clean but the front desk attitude was less than friendly. I was locked out of my room and at 8 thirty in the morning the hot food was gone. The kitchen worker said they were out.

    Our first room had a slightly odd smell. Then there was a leak in the ceiling above the toilet so you could not use the restroom in it. This started late at night. They did find us another room, and we moved. In the second room it was spacious and seemed clean, but the toilet paper roll holder was falling off of the wall. After moving, we went to sleep and left directly after waking up. Staff was very friendly through it all though!

    Disappointed in the HVAC system. Cool air was not regulating properly overnight to where we were very hot, uncomfortable and had problems sleeping. Reported issue to management. Due to uncomfortability, we felt some level of credit should have been extended, but none was offered for our discomfort and inconvenience.

    If planning to use the pool area please be careful of a section of the concrete that has a metal sheeting about a 3x3 section it gets very slippery and is also raised up. This makes it a very dangerous trip or fall hazard. A couple of my grandkids both fell when they were wet from getting out of pool and also seen an elderly person almost fall due to tripping over the raised edge. But the hotel other wize is a great place to stay beds are comfortable Very friendly staff had an issue with dirty shower head but housekeeper took care of it right away and good breakfast and a convenient location for what I needed to stay for. Price seemed a little high but as the old saying goes you get what you pay for. Had other family members who chose to stay at another motel near by was much cheaper but their rooms were smaller out dated and rusty furniture and no breakfast so it's worth the extra to stay here

    Room service is “every other day” even at request. There was times during the day when one person was to service all guest. The first room we were assigned, the walls were scratched, room was dim and light bulbs were out and the AC did not work. The second room, the AC didn’t work and lighting was poor. There is no carpet or rugs on the floors which makes the room feel cold and not welcoming Lastly, upon checking out housekeeping knocked on the door at least 5 before the 11 o’clock hour. I felt rushed and that was very uncomfortable.

    The facad and lobby were modernized and clean and that’s where the pros begin and end. When I arrived, the door to my room was already open. The bathroom half visible mold and remnants of an unscrubbed shower floor. The room was dark even with all the lights on due to being next the walled off gutter system on the font of the building. When I requested a new room, I was told there were no more standard room, housekeeping was gone and that I would have to upgrade to a suite or request a new room the next day. I did not need a suite as a solo traveler I retuned to the room to check the bedding and the room was satisfactory enough to stay the night, I spent the rest of the evening at the pier to avoid time in the room and bought shower shoes to avoid the crud in the shower. The next day I was told the same thing. There were no more standard rooms, so I avoided staying in the room the rest of the trip. Out of a 3 night stay, I only got one day of housekeeping. I usually leave a generous tip but did not. Additionally, my room key stopped working everyday, so that was also annoying. Booking a last minute trip, against my better judgement, Breakfast was decent and what you’d except at this category of hotel. Overall, I picked a subpar brand hotel and took a risk that I regretted.

    Stayed here for a quick trip, just 2 nights. Housekeeping never came to clean our room, offer fresh towels or more toiletries. Pool wasnt cleaned daily either. The breakfast was okay because they had a waffle maker. Theres absolutely no lighting in the room so its very dark and dim. Wouldnt come back but it served its purpose

    Breakfast was good, gym was nice. Floors in the room were disgusting, I’d not walk on them barefoot. Mold in the shower and the sink water was all or nothing. Shower doors would not stay open. Had to wait on front desk staff then she didn’t advise when breakfast was, where the elevators were or anything about the property

    We experienced several days when our room keycards stopped working, and we needed to have our cards updated, but these were also done promptly by reception staff. Our room was clean and the layout was good, with plenty of hot water available for shower / bath. The bed was comfy, although the pillows were disappointing. Despite the hotel being busy, there was not much excess noise from other guests.

    We were in town for my son’s travel baseball tournament. The overall look of the hotel was nice and clean. When we got in our room the bathroom light around the mirror was flashing like a strobe light. If I had epileptic would have been a problem. There was no extra toilet paper. The knob to the shower was broke and almost hit my 3 year old grandson when it fell just from my daughter turning the faucet on. My son went to pull out the sofa bed and there was a beer can under the couch. Makes you wonder how well they cleaned the room. I’m not a complainer but for the price I expected better. The breakfast was ok not a lot to choose from the potatoes weren’t cooked all the way. When checking out this morning the lady at the desk was rude and acted like I was bothering her.

    The beds look like they weren’t changed, and the hallway was dirty and needed to be vacuumed. Also, their morning buffet the fruit was old and mushy, and they didn’t have a lot of things that was described on the website. Very disappointing.

    Upon arrival the staff was not pleasant and acted like you were bothering them just to check in. NO warm welcome for sure. The elevator door didn’t want to open fully, only about half way. The room was dirty and the toilet paper holder was ripped off the wall with a large hole and it was nowhere to be found. Sent a message and also notified staff. They acted like it was not a problem. Just deal with it. Breakfast was not good. Eggs runny, out of alot of items and again no staff to be found. We left to eat elsewhere.

    We stayed two nights while traveling to and from our destination. Both times, there were problems with the air conditioner, so bad the second night we had to move rooms at 12 a.m. The phones did not work to call the front desk. The caulking in the shower and the shower head were moldy. The staff was nice but that is about the only positive. Definitely not worth the price. This hotel needs to be refurbished.

    We stayed on two different nights, different rooms. Both had problems with the air conditioning. The second night, it sounded like a cement mixer and put out hot air. I told the staff at the desk, who said the thermostats were installed incorrectly and you have to raise the temperature to cool the room. We had to move rooms at 12:00 a.m. The phones don't work. The shower caulking and shower head were moldy. The breakfast bar food was inedible (omelet so hard you could not cut it.) The night staff was very nice and accommodating but that is about the only nice thing I can say. Definitely not worth the price.

    Our room was an afterthought. We'd stayed here a couple times before without issue. This trip we were stuck on the first floor behind the gym. Loud. We had holes in the walls and the TV was hanging on by a thread. Dirty. Not a good stay.

    Easy place to stay off of 95! The only issue we had was someone blasting music on our hall at 1AM. When I texted the helpline, we didn’t receive a response. We were happy it didn’t wake the baby, but were nervous about it.

    The room was nice & clean (until bedtime). Around 2am, my wife noticed something crawling towards her in the bed. She jumped up, grabbed a napkin &picked it up. She was gonna throw it in the toilet but I we threw it in the sink instead. We took a pic and used Google lens to find out what it was & it turned out to be a bedbug! The csr overnight immediately changed our room. (She was very helpful) The lady at the front desk in the morning (around 8am, Older white female) was rude and tried to argue that it was a cockroach until I showed her the pics. She said it's not their problem and I should contact Expedia. What could've been an easy fix & good feedback has turned into a bad review because of her.
