The property was clean, the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very diversified, a lot of choices, which of course is very nice. The location was great for me as it is very near the highway. I found the stay was a very good value. Wasn’t anything I didn’t like. However, I used 2 separate GPS apps and it was still difficult to get directions to the actual location. I just drove around the area until I found the hotel.

We were on a time crunch and our hosts had stopped at the hotels a couple days prior to see if we could get early check in, only to be greeted by a girl at the front desk sitting on a chair with her shoes off and chomping on a pork chop, Seriously? Her reply was basically NO can do to our hosts. Is this the type of people Best Western hires to represent their brand? Pretty unprofessional and lacking serious customer skills.

We choose this hotel due to the ratings. How they are so high, I do not know!!! 1st thing, we asked for a room close to an exit. We had booked a handicap room, since we have a hard time walking, it is extremely far from either entrance. We then noticed the room smelled like there had been a wet dog in it. However, we were told no other rooms. The bathroom smelled of something horrible. Thank goodness I have learned to bring cleaning supplies. There were kids on the 2nd floor (we were on the 1st) and they ran the halls, slamming doors till after midnight. We ended up sleeping in our clothes and not even using the moldy shower. When I mentioned the wet dog smell again upon leaving, I got no response. Save yourself the aggravation, skip this place!

As always, this BW was clean, the staff was super helpful and kind, and the free breakfast was hot and delicious.

This is our halfway stop on the way to Tampa. Great location and it’s always clean.

The air conditioner in our room made loud noises upon start up, every single time and rattled loudly while running. This woke us up every time it came on and it was difficult sleeping with the constant noise. In room AC definitely needs maintenance, repaired.

Comfort, food Shower was hand hold only and the place you are supposed to be able to hang it up was upside down and so unable to prop it to shower normally. I was not in need of a handheld shower and it was very inconvenient

The hotel was okay for a 2 night stay. Our room had a weird smell to it. The outside is pretty run down the room was clean for the most part. The staff was okay they didn’t really acknowledge you for the most part. I would stay somewhere else if I had to come back.

Very old property, and area looks ghetto and feels unsafe. The room was clean and AC worked well. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast had very few options.

Very nice staff, good size of room, better breakfast than most of the cheap pleaces (good coffee!). One night for a $100 was ok. The room smelled, it was a very strong smell and not the best. The hotel is close to a main road which makes the room noisy.

It’s an old hotel that is updated but the not updated parts are gross. There were several stains on my ceiling and walls from old leaks, the shower head was disgusting, and although the carpet seemed new you could smell that a dog had peed on it before. There were hand prints all over my headboard which is disgusting and also some kind of smudges left on every mirror in my room so housekeeping could definitely do better. The bed was comfortable and the furniture is new so thats a plus.

Hotel was clean enough and staff was average. Breakfast was underwhelming and packed into a small corner in a big room. The dining room was big, but hardly any tables so we had to take our food back to the room. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The location and the price. The overnight front desk attendant was rude and degrading. I left out of my room and when I returned she locked my room door. I had to show her my ID in order for her to unlock my key so that I could get back into my room. Her reason was because she wasn't the one to checked me in and she did not see me leave. My bed was hard as a rock and the water in my tub went down slowly so I had to rewash my ankles and feet because the dirty water accumulated.

I was there for sleep long drive, so for me the important thing is great price, clean, and comfortable. I would think there are many more folks like me, but if i could get a small room w a good twin bed and a bathroom for 100 bucks, id be staying all the time. I dont need a TV, or food, internet or space. I need a place to sleep and brush my teeth. Id even bring my own pillow and sheets. For 75 bucks. No complaints

Large room, nice bathroom, comfortable bed, good food for the money. And a great location. We have stayed at this property several times. I do not like the smell when we walk in. I think it is their cleaning solution but it smells like a very heavy aftershave lotion and it is almost sickening. It is the same smell every time we go.

The breakfast selection is remarkable.

They redid the outside and lobby of this property. The rooms were dilapidated and kind of unkept. Our sheets were stained. The bathroom had visible water damage. There was a hole in the wall of our bathroom. The AC unit was loud. Convenient location off the interstate but otherwise undesirable.

Check in was efficient and the desk agent was very helpful. We will stay there again when we travel.

Although the staff was very friendly and clearly trying to keep up with the demand, there wasn’t enough staff to keep replenishing the breakfast area items. The pancake bag ran out, the coffee pods ran out, etc.

The drain stopper didn’t open completely and what water that went down the drain went all over the floor due to a leaky pipe. Also the screws holding up one end of the shower were almost completely out of the wall.

All of the vending machines were empty on every floor, the shower chair for the bathroom has legs going in different directions. Definitely not safe to take a shower on. Good points: room was clean and staff friendly.

Great place for the price. I was really impressed with the breakfast options and the lady working the breakfast area was fabulous! The only downsides were that there was almost no hot water when trying to shower and there was a stain on the bottom of the bed quilt.

Breakfast was good. Room was clean and comfortable but the water did not drain properly from the tub when taking a shower. We landed up standing in 3 inches of water after a 4 minute shower.

The elevator was out of service, the shower wouldn’t turn on. The knob keeps going around without turning one the water. When it finally turn on it wouldn’t turn off. The front desk staff during the night time shift was pretty much sour. Not a single smile.

However, I needed sheets for Porta crib and no one was to be found at 11 PM. Also, I rarely and I mean, like rarely shower at an overnight hotel stay however, This time I needed to wash my hair. The shampoo and conditioner were absolutely horrible- in content and bottle size- not even sufficient for one person nonetheless two. I’m sure they would have given us more if asked. But you don’t know that until you’re in the shower. Conditioner didn’t work, and shampoo cleaned but tangled my color treated hair, leaving me few options- ended up with lots of hair loss- horror 😬 Otherwise, it would’ve been fine for an overnight day.

I checked in quite late, after midnight, in fact. On duty staff was terrific, good natured and helpful. The property is well maintained and well lit. It appeared to be safe.

The AC was magnificent. The room was very cool, because Brunswick can be hot. It is convenient to I-95 and Spur 25 (which takes you to Saint Simons Island).

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Nice size room with small couch and table in addition to the desk and dresser you would usually expect. Very quiet. Added plus: Waffle House and another restaurant (which was a nice ale house share the parking area with the hotel. Very convenient.

I realize the time I showered is probably the same time most people shower, though.

Nice hotel with a vast breakfast, the make your own parfait was as good as chick fil a yogurt! Check in and stay was smooth and easy and we enjoyed our room.

We stop in this area often on our way to NC and this was the best so far. The bed was super comfy, clean rooms and very easy in and out.

Room was quite comfortable with a sofa and a kingsize bed. Super size TV. My only observation is that for a very large room, the bed was less than a foot from the AC unit! You had a walk sideways to get into the bed.

My door was actually open when I went up to my room ( not just unlocked), and when I mentioned it to the front desk clerk, he was completely indifferent. Didn’t offer to walk me back up and check the room. Nothing. Front desk staff both during check out and check in were not friendly. Not rude, just not welcoming nor did they ask how was my stay, or say thank you. Not who I would want greeting my guests.

Ac worked. Room was clean. Restaurants close by.

THE 2ND ROOM HAD AN A/C THAT WE COULD NOT REGULATE SO WE HAD TO SHUT IT OFF WHICH MADE THE ROOM TOO WARM TO SLEEP

The bed is too close to the AC unit. Whoever lies on that side of the bed essentially freezes. There’s no way of lowering the fan speed either. The bed should be shifted more towards the center of the room. Otherwise, good basic hotel room with essential Features. Free breakfast is a plus

Stayed one night while traveling through Georgia. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and staff was friendly. The only negative was that the shower nozzle was not working correctly and I had to take a cold shower. Despite that, I would stay here again.

I've stayed at a lot of best westerns and this was by far the worse. The room smelt awful and the sheets looked like they weren't change since the last guest, there was also small bugs crawling on the sheets. We changed rooms and we didn't see bugs, smelt better but the sheets were still not clean. If it wasn't so late we definitely would have went somewhere else. Also very felt very unsafe - would never stay here again.

Cleanliness

My mom and I stopped in while heading north to visit my brother. The front desk staff was very friendly and the check in process was fast and easy. The room was clean and the offered breakfast, and although we left before it started, we were able to grab some fruit.

I was looking for a safe and clean place to stay for a night while traveling. Read good reviews but could not relate to the reviews. The shower walls were dirty, the shower curtain was dirty. Stains on the blanket, large stain on the floor.

Best Western Plus is always reliable. Clean, comfortable and pleasant stay. Extra bonus was an amazing Mexican restaurant right by the hotel.

The room was very clean. The beds were super comfy! Breakfast was good, with scrambled eggs and bacon for the hot foods. I noticed that pancakes and waffles could be made, also.

We had a great quick stay here. The price was excellent. The room was very clean. The breakfast was fantastic - waffles, yogurt, eggs, sausage... Staff was helpful and friendly. We will stay again when passing through.

One of the beds had a terrible mattress. The springs were shot. Very hard to sleep on it. The other was not as bad. Both needs to be replaced. Washroom door would not close completely. It was hitting the door frame. Door hings needs to be replaced

Room was clean and conveniently located just off I-95. Unfortunately, our AC turned off during the middle of the night so, between being hot and having loud, inconsiderate neighbors, it was hard to sleep.

There appears to be water running somewhere near the bathroom in Room 122. It wasn’t in Room 122 though. Also some travelers were disrespectful of the parking lot property in, leaving their garbage in the lot. My husband picked some up a few times & discarded. All service people were phenomenal. Nice place to stay.

Close to I95 and convenient

BAD: room felt damp (floors, towels, sheets). Toilet ran all night (turned off water on back). Stained chair and greasy hand prints on walls over bed.

I have stayed here twice before. The staff goes over the top to accommodate requests. The breakfast is plentiful and well attended to by staff members. All areas are very clean. I enjoyed the pool. Hotel is very conveniently located to restaurants.

Room (203) was just ok. Terrible urine type smell when we entered room. AC unit was right next to bed plus was going off/on all thru the night.

My husband and I were celebrating our 22nd anniversary as well as his birthday. The room was in tip top shape. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean.. The staff all of them were very friendly. The location was very good it was very convenient to both islands we were visiting..Would stay again if we decide to go back..

It was a wonderful stay. We enjoyed to convenience of being close to the sites we wanted to visit and the cost was very good. Staff was very helpful & friendly. The couch was a little bit hard to sit on, but all in all, everything was excellent. We hope to stay here again soon.

The room was filthy — pubic hairs in the shower, and both the AC and water smelled like rotten eggs. I got nausea and headaches after brushing my teeth. No one answered at the front desk all night. The manager was rude and unhelpful when Expedia tried to assist. I had to switch hotels. Do not stay here.

Staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was very, very nice. Had a lot to choose from and very good.

We just stayed overnight while traveling. The evening check-in clerk never smiled and wasn't welcoming, so we were expecting a less than stellar experience. We were pleasantly surprised. The beds were quite comfortable. The only noise came from another guest blaring his TV at 3:00 in the morning, but that is not the fault of BW. The free breakfast was awesome, providing many more options than we expected. The lady overseeing that area was incredibly friendly, as was the clerk we spoke to at checkout.

Location was good. Bed was ok. Breakfast mediocre. Wi-Fi issues. Everything just ok.

The breakfast was very good with bacon, eggs, etc. I had a comfortable night and was happy to have a tub.

It was ok. Tv in our room didn’t work correctly and ac was loud. Sheets had hair and had to be changed. Breakfast was good. It was close to everything. Coffee was good.

Breakfast consists of the following Oatmeal various flavors, Cheerios, Chex, eggs(mix kind but taste better than others I’ve had),patty sausage, espresso and regular coffee, orange juice, lemon aid, pineapple n passion fruit juice, cranberry juice,milk,apples, bananas, large make yourself waffles, make yourself 2 automatic pancakes at a time, with a topping bar, muffins, danish, yogurt it says waffles, oatmeal and cereal gluten free. We were there three mornings and the menu didn’t change. But it was satisfying oh and toast. The pool looked to be clean we didn’t use it but was clean. The parking was free and safe. The hotel smelled clean and looked clean there are hand sanitizer stations as well. There is a fitness area and laundry for the public. There’s a Waffle House in walking distance but we didn’t need it with the breakfast there. The beds were comfortable and the covers as well pillows were plentiful. The shampoo smells of citrus oranges revitalizing also the conditioner was better than most hotels and lotion. House keeping came daily we only changed our towels and asked for what we were out of but they would do the room. Fridge/micro

The room size was nice but poorly arranged. The microwave/fridge were so close to the bathroom door you could not open without having the door closed. If someone came out of the bathroom while you were opening the microwave it would have hit the door and dumped all the hot food on you. The glass closet door was huge and was less than 1 inch from hitting the small desk, and swung out to the bed. One bed was sl close to the wall you couldn't get out of it. The pillows were 1/2 sized squares! Stained bedding. On the plus, friendly staff and a fairly good breakfast, nice location.

It was the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in and no loud noise. The beds were very comfortable. Easy and quick check in also.

Everything was good except there was no hot water at the time that I needed it.

Very Clean great customer service i can't stress how clean the hotel is

When I booked into this room, I noticed a somewhat musty smell thought maybe it was just from the cleaning fluid. I turned on the fan, and after a long day of driving, I slept. Woke up early in the morning, went for the breakfast, and when I return to my room, the smell of mold was even stronger in the room. So I look to see where the odor is coming from. There was a counter inside the room that had a sink, which would be a set up for a possible wet bar. I open the cupboard door underneath that sink, BLACK MOLD as seen in the picture. I was horrified I packed. My bag, went down to the counter and show the manager desk clerk the photo. I demanded a credit on my account since I slept in a hazardous room. Needless to say my anxiety was high as it would be for anyone. I was told that I could not receive a credit from them. I have to go through hotels.com. The manager on duty had the attitude like I was her bothering her with a problem. I filed a claim with my credit card company and was denied credit for this night stay from the hotel. Apparently to them, it was OK that I slept in a health hazardous room.

Stay was good. The only complaints I have are the hair dryer was broke and too late to call for housekeeping. Also, the room was spacious enough there could have been a better location for the refrigerator and microwave rather than in a tight corner. It was hard to get into with bathroom door and room door so close.

Very good would recommend. Is not pet friendly, which I like. Breakfast was good, coffee was good. Rooms were comfy. This is one of my stops on my way to Florida. Never disappointed. I will be back

The sheets were awful

Very convenient location, right of I-95, was perfect for overnight stop on the way to Orlando FL. Great shopping selection in the area, nearby Ale House had great service and awesome food and offered a discount because we were staying at the hotel.
