The first night that I slept in the bed, me and my husband was itching all night, but we didn’t find anything in the bed so the next morning I went to the front desk and asked him could the maid come and change the sheets on the bed because it was a nice room we had a view of the pool. After that everything was fine. I just didn’t know what the itch came from but after she changed the sheets, we slept good,

Booked for one night and then used out insurance to change to the next night. They were fully booked apart from penthouse so this left us having to find somewhere else. Booking.com and embassy suites we’re extremely rude and unhelpful Staff told me @ we thought you were a no show “ I asked why they didn’t call or check and she just shrugged Also smelt like cigarettes in my friends room

The bed and furniture are old uncomfortable needs to be upgraded

The rooms are dated and the second elevator didn’t work every day. The bed was very low and needed a box spring to be more comfortable. Breakfast was ok- missing real half and half and milk for the coffee.

This is our go to hotel for when we go to California. It is amazing and has the BEST breakfast. Staff is always so nice

Front desk said that she was going to refund us but never did.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed there, and the elevator is still not fixed. This is very inconvenient for many of your working guests who need to leave in a timely manner but must wait for a single elevator.

Rooms can use some modernization but other than that service was great. Pillows were too soft for me but nothing bad to complain about

We stayed at Enassy Suites for 3 nights. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The morning breakfasts with made for you omelets, French toast, pancakes, bacon, sausage, etc were delicious. And the evening drinks and snacks were wonderful. The staff were professional, helpful, and attentive. Overall our stay was a delight.

I found mold on the signed mattress

The breakfast was amazing, check In was easy, rooms were great my only complaint was the bartender at the restaurant. She was rude and made us feel like we were bugging her. Would not go there again if she’s working. Other than that all the staff was amazing and the hotel is a prime location.

In our new room, housekeeping forgot some of the bedding so my husband woke up several times because he felt the coils in the mattress and was generally uncomfortable. The room was spacious and looked updated. The room and bathroom had motion sensor lights with no way of disabling them. This could be a positive for some, but I found it frustrating. Waking up in the night to use the restroom caused the lights to turn on, which impacted our rest. The room was clean, but there was evidence of water damage throughout the room and bathroom. Additionally, I went out for a small walk and I slipped in the lobby. Thankfully, I caught myself, but I almost landed hard. I noticed afterwards that there was water leaking from the ceiling. It was a mess and VERY dangerous. I think the hotel may be in need of maintenance. We discussed our concerns with customer service and they were very validating and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was amazing. It is far and away the best we have ever had at a hotel. The dining area was massive, which allowed ample room for all

They wouldn’t let us early check in, so got there at 4 and waited 20 minutes to get our room. The double room was outdated and felt old for how expensive it was. Plus it smelled heavily like weed and disgusting. But we have twin toddlers so didn’t want to wait to change our room. That should be embarrassing. We always find embassy suites when traveling and this was the worst yet. But food was great.

Nice enough hotel. It’s an Embassy Suites, so you know the layout if you’ve ever been to one. Only one elevator was in service during our stay. That was a little frustrating. Other than that, a decent one night stay. Thanks

The breakfast eggs, sausage and potatoes were cold at 830. Cold. Not warm at all. The burners were not on. They got turned on after I ate my cold breakfast. There was not proper signs when I exited the elevator on 7 and I turned right instead of left for room 705 which took me 95% of the way back to the same elevator.

The Bar was wonderful, but the Breakfast ended before we could make it there.

The room was spacious and the location was great, with plenty nearby—especially having a Target across the street. My only complaint is that the AC doesn’t work well, so the room can get warm.

There's a very nice mall adjacent to the Hotel with plenty of restaurants in the area and felt safe to walk, even at night. We would heartily recommend staying at this Embassy Suites and will definitely stay here again. Anthony Lee

Excelllent. The parking billing. I was overbilled (double) the amount I was supposed to pay. Only after 4 calls were they able to correctly refund the right amount. The first 3 clerks that I talked to regarding the mistake said they understood the problem and will make the correction, but they did not. It was only the manager, the 4th person I talked to that corrected the mistake and refunded the right amount.

Needs a little upgrading. Bathroom faucet handles didn't work. Blow dryer was broken. They closed the restaurant and bar Saturday night at 8 when it's posted to 10/10:30 which messed up our plans!

The pool area and outdoor tables are consistently dirty, often with leftover juice and coffee, even as early as 8:30 AM. Overall, both the interior and exterior of the building could use better maintenance and care. As an extra note that the trash pickups location is not good because the trash smells always next to the pool and outdoor sitting area. I’m sharing this honestly to help improve the place—not to complain, but to contribute. I care about Brea since I’m from OC, and I’d love to see it maintained the way it deserves. 💕 Dona Maria DM ANH

They gave us a handicap room on the 6th floor and when we asked to switch they said no bc it was Valentines Day and all rooms were booked. We'll never go there again and we're advising our friends against it as well!

At check in I felt like I was being scolded. The person stated that I reserved an accessible room. She said that she will put me in a regular room because one was available. Stayed 11/30-12/02 the Sunday after Thanksgiving. It looked like the C team duty rotation. Poor front desk check in experience. Staff could not be bothered to make any effort. See detailed expl. In check in rating. Lots of full trash bags outside of room doors. Room 206 had the Chipped sink and thermostat that refused to be adjusted (hot or cold). Rough night. Breakfast and breakfast staff was the only bright spot on a Monday. Sure hope they retrain front desk staff to actually care. Next time, try the Marriot systems nearby or use the Hilton app and just skip the front end because they just want you to use the app anyway. 2 staff and a manager couldn’t be bothered to utter why they ignored me standing in line for 8-10 min without any sensible explanation. It takes less time to make a key via app.

The omelette bar was a bonus as well as the evening social hour. It's in a convenient location. We will be returning.

The shower gel dispenser was empty and we requested more gel. Housekeeping said they were completely out and expecting more in a couple of days😳. Also, there was not a hair dryer in the room as promised. I didnt have the time to wait for another one. My expectation would be Housekeeping checks these things prior to a customer checking in.

My room was a handicap room. The only thing I did not like was the shower faucet water would dribble down the metal flex arm onto the bathroom floor. Free happy hour (2 drinks) was good, wish they had fresh popcorn, free breakfast was good, wish they had fresh pancakes

The room was ok. I would say the cleaning staff did an ok job of keeping our room clean as could be despite all of the previous persons hairs around the room. The toilet seat that was crooked and did not fit the seat was uncomfortable. The breakfast was great until sitting in the dining area me and my husband started to get bit by an unknown presence? I showed the front desk and they were pretty unsympathetic. I doubt we will stay here again.

We felt the hotel was very relaxing and had a lot of comfortable spaces to sit and lounge in the very large lobby atrium area! The reception in the bar was a nice touch with some snacks and drinks. The hotel was very clean and our room was quiet and spacious!

Had to speak to the front desk about our room’s numerous carpet stains. Was surprised that the housekeeping staff would consider it ready for occupancy! The complaint was graciously received and by the time we got back to the room that afternoon, the carpet was stain free. We appreciated the quick response.

All staff that we encountered were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great. The area was very convenient. The beds were comfortable and clean. The only thing I’d say is that the rooms are in serious need of updates. We were moved from our first room due to our tub leaking water into the walls, onto the floor, and into the room below. The second room we were placed in had visible scratches and wear inside the tub. There were areas of rust and scum around the faucets. There were places in the ceiling above the shower that had clearly been patched. It’s a shame everything seemed to be on the decline when the staff and area were so great.

Stayed for 1 night with family. The hotel lobby, pool, and gym were nice in a great location. Walkable to shopping, markets, coffee shops, etc. Breakfast was great with many choices, including made-to-order omelets. The room needs updating. The shampoo and body dispensers were empty. Chipped paint and mold was visible in the bathroom. The sofa sleeper was terrible. I could feel the metal bars thru the inferior mattress. The desk suggested more blankets/comforters to make it more comfortable. We never received the blankets. Pool area was out of towels very quickly. Understaffed, perhaps??

The first room we checked in was not clean (hair in the bathtub) the carpet was stained in several spots, and the room smelled bad. Called the front desk and they said that was the Expedia type of room and they only have a few. They gave me new room which was clean but still hotel is run down. The complimentary breakfast is great though with an omlette station and atrium area is nice.

The cleaning service was lacking. A couple of days there was no service. They claimed the do not disturb sign was out, but I specifically removed it after the front desk said the room would be cleaned in one hour. They put towels in the room but no cleaning.

Luv the location - I always stay at this hotel when I'm in the area. The manager's reception and breakfast are definitely a plus!

Breakfast was great. The pool was nice but the hot tub wasnt working. Our room AC was loud yet it doesnt blow air so it was hot. The sofa bed was old and squeeky. Not comfortable to lay in. The bartender was so nice and introduced us to a karaoke machine. Overall, stay was good and staff were really nice and accomodating.

It was a weekend getaway and everything went well. The breakfast is always great at the embassy which makes up for any inconveniences. Parking was decent. It’s underground and they have 2 levels for $16 a night. The hotel does seem older then other ones I have stayed at but other then that no issues.

Sky light in hotel very dirty.. Ask for more towels even ask the maid person, we never got any. The coffee was bad,my waffles were cold. The buffet was like a motel 6 not great.

The room was also close to the street so it was super noisy from the traffic. Wouldn't stay here again! Especially if your are traveling with a toddler.

Great breakfast, great location - walkable to Brea Mall, Target etc. Cons: Cleanliness has to be improved. The tub was really dirty. The front desk are not so friendly, the toilets in the lobby are very dirty.

Hotel is a bit dated. One elevator worked once in a while. But staff was very nice.

I have been visiting this property consistently over the past six years, often staying multiple times a year, as it has truly become our home away from home. While staff turnover is expected over time and we are occasionally treated as new guests, we understand this is common in the hospitality industry. Some visits are met with exceptional friendliness, while others are more neutral. Nonetheless, the overall experience remains positive, and this continues to be a wonderful property that we genuinely enjoy returning to.

It’s was good. The room was spacious, included breakfast was nice. My only gripe is that only 2 out of the 4 elevators were working which meant a lot of waiting.

A+ location but dated property!

We were given Room 314 and within minutes of checking in my partner felt a bite. There was fleas in the room. Immediately notified front desk who apologized and gave us Room 405. Room 405 was overall better. It just smelled and looked cleaner. The room itself was average but dated. The rooms are nice size and bed is comfrotable. The shiwer was clean. The downside is that all rooms have carpet. For a hotel that acceots pets this should be a big no no. The lobby area is the one place that appears to have been renovated. The entire property itself is old and needs some major TLC. If you pay attention to detail you will notice what i mean. The best part of my stay was the daily made to order omelet bar. The ladies that make your breakfast are so nice and friendly so please tip them well. The hotel staff overall is also nice. My one suggestion to management or corporate is to update this property. The property is centrally located and appeals to many but it sure needs a major remodel. I chose this property because i live/work in Brea and wanted to saty close during my displacement.

Front room Tv volume is very low unable to hear. Called front desk no tech on site to assist. Early morning AC was not functioning properly had set at 68* but felt like 75*. Only able to compensate $50 of bill.

Staying here at Embassy Suites with my family was a great choice I made. The employees here are definitely friendly and helpful. Great place! You won’t regret it. Thank you all at Embassy, I appreciate you!

Parking was a little confusing. It’s under the hotel. And there’s a sign to pay by scamming a QR code. It also accesses some shops (I think?). Aside from that it was great: plenty of spaces. Checkin was smooth and the room was nice. Large 2 room, room. Great for watching TV while your travel companion sleeps In the “bedroom”. I really like that Embassy Suites rooms have the “living room” with plenty of seating etc. Much better than small hotel rooms where the only place to sit is the bed or the requisite desk chair. Room was spacious and clean. The bed was really low. I don’t mind. The included breakfast service was good as expected. We had pancakes, potatoes, eggs, sausage. Apparently there was bacon, too but that was at the omelette bar (that we skipped). Nothing fancy, but better than the usual “Continental breakfast” We love staying at Embassy Suites and the Brea location was as expected.

Had a few hiccups but the front desk easily accommodated upon reason. We really appreciate them and recommend a stay here!

Shower and air conditioning didn’t work. They moved us to a new room with a better shower but the air conditioning still didn’t work. Tried to set it at 65 degrees and it didn’t work so sleep was terrible. All they offered me was a 50 dollar discount. Definitely won’t be coming back.

The staff at the reception desk were extremely helpful, going beyond what was expected. Breakfasts were delicious, especially the custom omelets. The ladies who made them were pleasant and efficient. However, the housekeeping staff were inconsistent in their cleaning and did not always leave needed items such as towels and coffee refills. My husband did not appreciate the extra charges for parking the car.

The only issue I can think about was an elevator that was out of service

The included breakfast did not have any options for a gluten free diet except uncut fruit and the bananas were green. Very little variety, same thing every day. You could order at the omelette bar, but the taste wasn't good.

THE STAFF IS GREAT, FROM FRONT DESK, MAIDS, BREAKFAST HELPERS, AND HAPPY HOUR STAFF.

We arrived early and were told we would be placed on an ‘early check-in’ list, where we would receive a text as soon as a room was ready for us. 30 minutes to checkin, there were still no rooms available for us or any of the other people waiting in the lobby. Promptly at 4pm we were still told that no rooms were available because the hotel was overbooked and understaffed the night before. They again advised we were on ‘the list’ to be one of the first to receive a text once rooms were released by housekeeping. So we waited aside, never received a text, noticed that several other people were receiving their cards for rooms before us, even though we were told we would be the first batch of rooms that became available. That WAS NOT the case, as later, an hour AFTER checkin, and an hour late for our fundraising event now, we were told that we had to line up at 4 and it was first come first serve… so the ‘early checkin list’ was somehow null and void at that point, and even though we were the VERY FIRST people BACK in line at 4pm, we were not checked in until waiting in line for a FOURTH TIME for another 30 minutes. Once we were in the room, it smelled of smoke, the bathroom was not clean well, the carpet was filthy (do not walk with your bare feet!) AND - another guest walked in on us while we were changing! The check in was a complete disaster, and on top of the room being outdated and grungy, we did not feel safe knowing that another guest once had access. We did not stay.

Great place to stay it reminded me of when i stayed in Fresno double tree, the setup was exactly the same as far as the whole building but this place was easy better as far as the room went. Seperate living room area and a door to seperate the two even better. Definitely staying here again. Only thing that was bad was out of the 4 elevators 1 wasnt working but honestly if thats the only thing that was wrong with this place id still give it a 5 star!
