Location was about the best it could be. Sure needs updating. Room was in very poor shape. Beds were really not good. Floors were really dirty. Breakfast offered was eatable but not good. It’s just needs a complete remodel.

Great location and easy to get around Room was quite dirty when we arrived, which was the second time we've found that to be true at this hotel. Also, the walls are thinner than maybe any hotel I've ever visited. We could hear our neighbors talking (not yelling, not being loud--just talking) until about 2 AM. That's a complaint about the hotel, not the neighbors as they were doing nothing wrong--it's just a cheap and not very clean hotel

Room was fixed the floors were dirty like they were mopped with a dirty mop and dirty water . Staff was wonderful and the free breakfast had a great selection of everything ! The pool was a big plus for us which was indoors too !

They had bottled water already free in the room, very clean, easy to go to breakfast room, good variety for breakfast. Good location, very quiet. Usually you can hear other people moving or talking in their rooms, not so at this motel, great insulation in walls and ceilings. Excellent parking outside our handicapped room. Close to ice machine and laundry facilities. Friendly staff.

The room can definitely use a deep cleaning and upgrading. Shower curtain isn’t long so water gets on the floor when showering, Stopper is missing in sink, water leaks from the faucet handle. Couch needs to be deep cleaned or replaced. Floor needs to be mopped. Lamps need to be replaced or switched on them need to be super cleaned. Room had limited outlets and no usb ports. The pool area was locked, no note explaining.

Rooms felt a little in need of updating. Our toilet never flushed properly. However the hotel was clean and convenient.

This property is well maintained and in a great location for strolling into Boulder City. It was quiet with h a substantial hot breakfast and the pet fee is very fair. It was our second time here and we will be back again!

On this trip, I discovered that the Best Western Brand in the western states was not as nice as they are on the East Coast. Adequate but nothing special.

Staff member on the late shift was lovely and welcoming. She was also on the morning shift. What a trooper and still friendly and smiling when we checked out. Comfy beds! Breakfast offering was very poor. Cleanliness of the bathroom could have been better. Black hairs left in bath tub and on shower curtain.

It was 100 degrees outside. I opened the door to the roar of the AC. I shut the door to a 1/2 inch gap on three sides. The AC didn't slow down though the room might of cooled. Maintenance should be working those problems all day, every day.

Motel-Style Hotel in Boulder City next to Main Streets, near Hoover Dam. Very friendly staff. Rooms had everything needed for our short stay. Enough parking slots Already a bit aged, breakfast was basic.

The TVs did not work, the curtains in the room would not close, and the continental breakfast was not ready on time on either day. However, the staff was friendly and accommodating, which helped offset some of the shortcomings with the property's upkeep. Overall, I would likely not stay here again unless there were no other available options.

The location was excellent, very close to the Hoover Dam. My family and I really appreciated the cleanliness and the comfort of the beds. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Since we didn’t have time for breakfast, they prepared it for us to take away, which we truly appreciated. It was delicious and perfect to enjoy on the way to the next attractions in the region.

It was in a great location for Boulder City. The staff was nice. Breakfast was great. My only complaint was that the hot tub wasn't working and after a long day of hiking I like to sit in a hot tub

Rooms had spiders weds.. but overall a pleasant stay. Close to the Hoover dam and 30 mins from Vegas easy to travel back and forth. Staff was great and very helpful.

Very friendly staff upon check-in, however, lift not working, broken coffee machine in room, faulty hairdryer, musty smellling room.

The room service menu prices was not up-to-date, go with the prices they have online at "Your Mother's Italian Kitchen", we did order for pick up at that restaurant and it was really good, highly recommend. As far as our stay, we stay in room 211, which was nice and clean. Covers were a bit on the itchy side, but the feel of the bed was so comfortable! The air conditioning was working well, but it was rattling a little which wasn't too bad. We go to boulder city to get out of the big cityof Las Vegas for a weekend to wind down and we did enjoy this stay.

The location was on the main road in town. The receptionist was very helpful and pleasant. The facility is a bit dated. It was clean; however, there were bits of scattered toothpaste on the inside of the bathroom door. Obviously the cleaning staff didn't notice this. The drain stopper in the sink was detached.

Check in was great, the gal helping us at the front desk was super nice and friendly. The problem started when we got to our room. The toilet was full from the last person in the room and the toilet didn’t flush. My boyfriend had to fix it. The floor was filthy and hair was found in the bed before ever using. I wouldn’t even sleep in the sheets, just laid on top and used a blanket. The only reason we didn’t leave the hotel was it was Easter Weekend and we were traveling with two dogs on the way to my parents. Boulder City is cute but wouldn’t recommend this property.

Unfortunately the floors were so dirty I would not take my socks off. Rooms are old or at least the one we stayed in. Looked nothing like the pictures. Breakfast was not easily accessible. The pool was decent.

Also the hot tub wasn’t working. I did like that the hotel is walking distance from the historic section. Check in was a little late

Clean and close to the dam and tours we wanted without being in the craziness of downtown Vegas. The bar next door had a live band the first night and there was a bunch of intoxicated people roaming around the parking lots.

Pretty standard Best Western. A little noisy. The walk way outside the rooms is uneven stone. Suitcases rolling on it can make a bit of noise other than that nice.

Cons - The breakfast was lacking for a hot breakfast. We didn’t eat much most days because we didn’t like the hot options. There was no bath gel in the shower and even after requesting it be filled 3 times, it was never filled during our 3-day stay. The shower curtain needed to be replaced - it smelled. We had requested daily housekeeping but only got it once. Overall, I would stay here again because of the clean rooms, but I’d look around more before booking.

On arrival to the room, both the shampoo and body wash in the shower were empty. I asked for them to be refilled. They provided soap for the first night since the cleaning staff was gone. Visited on Christmas Eve and it couldn't have been better. Staff was super friendly and welcoming.Check-In was smooth. Room was clean. Amenities were perfect. But the star of the show was Vincent. Christmas morning the breakfast spread was so delicious. Waffles, eggs, link sausage, biscuits & gravy. It was amazing and he was all over it. Making sure everyone had what they needed and the tables were cleared and clean the second someone would leave. Thanks Vincent - You and your breakfast ROCK!

I have traveled ALOT and have never had the overall great experience that I had here. The service was top notch, every single employee was beyond helpful and happy. We needed a late night spot to feed 40 wrestlers and without hesitation, they let us use the breakfast room at 9PM. The breakfast food was fresh and delicious. Every person that walked through the door was met with a cheery welcome by the breakfast staff. The toppings for the breakfast items were impressive, strawberries, whipped cream, many sauces, nuts, and many more. I highly recommend this place.

It’s a good deal for the location and its complete breakfast buffet which included eggs, sausages, muffin with gravy and cinnamon rolls. Though the place looks more outdated than the pictures, our room was clean. I was looking forward to the indoor pool, sadly the jacuzzi was broken and has been for years now.

When we entered the room, it smelled strongly of smoke. We were exhausted from traveling, so we didn’t mention it at check-in, but it definitely affected the experience. Even more concerning, our room did not have a smoke detector installed, which made us feel unsafe. One of the beds had dirty bedding with a green, gooey substance on it. The next morning we also discovered that the coffee maker didn’t work. We stopped by the front desk and informed them about all the issues. The staff member told us it would be taken care of, gave us an extra set of bed sheets, and we requested no housekeeping. However, when we returned that night, nothing had been taken care of. We needed a budget friendly but decent place near Henderson while visiting a sick friend and found BW to be the perfect place. The room was clean, staff was very nice and it was close to great places to eat. The beds were a bit hard but not terrible. The breakfast was not great but being able to make our own waffles was cool. We're going to definitely be back

We had a comfortable stay at this hotel. We booked a kayak excursion to Emerald Cove through a different company and this location was perfect. We took advantage of the free hearty and hot breakfast before we set out for the 15 minute drive to Willow Beach. When we got back, the friendly hotel staff recommended Fox BBQ restaurant for dinner and it was the BEST steak dinner we had after a day kayaking on the lake. It was a great price for the service and value received. We will stay here next time we are in Boulder City.

Very pet friendly with a small park next door. Restaurant is good with room service which is a plus. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel advertised high speed internet through wi-fi. I was able to connect just fine, but there was no internet. The girl at the front desk just said, "hmm, that's weird. It's working for everyone else?" They did nothing to try and help fix the problem so I was unable to do any work (which is why I was there). Needless to say...NEVER AGAIN!

Room had an odor, but was reasonably clean. Mattress hard. Location was great though.

Service was great, couple of small issues resolved promptly by long term overnight front of house staff member who was pulling a double shift. Restaurant was excellent for a meal and quiet drink.

It is more like a motel but it does the trick.. A few things to improve are the frequence of room maintenance and the front desk reception. When I arrived there was no one in the front desk and when the person arrived she told me i had no reservation. After contacting HOTELS.COM they resent the confirmation email but apparently the lady had mischecked the data and the reservation was there from the beginning. Not a good experience. Anyone could get confused but a little more helpful attitude to solve the problem and double checking when i insisted, would have been expected. The same situation repeated when I asked if i had received Amazon packages, she said i had not received anything and did not check thoroughly, I had to check myself and find them.

Upon check in Vince was friendly and informative. However, that is where the experience changes. On the desk at check-in it mentions they only clean the rooms when asked, during your visit. Meaning you don't ask them not to clean your room, you have to ask to have it refreshed. While that isn't problematic, it did raise flags. Our room was not clean. My daughter described it as if it had been cleaned a week ago and forgotten about before putting us in it. There were fruit flies/gnats all over on the bathroom and dead bugs in the tub/shower. The headboard to our bed had hand prints all over it...... we did not pull the blankets back. The filters in the air vents were filthy. When we went to enjoy our free breakfast, my brother in law served himself some biscuits and gravy, with a side of dead flies in the gravy. While making the waffles for myself and kids, the lady working the breakfast room pushed her way up to "help the kids" very rudely, they didnt need help.. ages 14/12/12/11. Then the attendant goes out the door and makes an older, non-english speaking couple come back in and clean up their table...they weren't done. Just talking with there travel companions. She did not do this to anyone else. Then she started cleaning their table with a rag, that she used on the floor AND tables. We were done at that point.

Room was near the vent to the kitchen of the restaurant and wound up smelling like whatever was cooking. Room was was out of the 70s, overlooked the dumpsters from the restaurant, and the coffee machine still contained the last travellers coffee pod. Ice machines on all floors were inoperable and room service was ridiculously long...we ordered a pizza which took what seemed forever. The pizza did taste good. Front desk and cleaning staff we encountered were friendly.

Hotel was great mostly. A big older but the staff was friendly and the room was fairly clean. Breakfast was okay. Drink machines and other thinks out of order our whole stay and no variety of foods.

Excellent service, very friendly staff and within walking distance of good restaurants.

Hotel well maintained for its age. Had ground floor, handicap access which was very spacious. Clean, great A/C, typical breakfast included, good and hot, refilled as needed with no waiting, make your own waffle was wonderful. rating of 4/5 Bed was stiff.

Basically used the hotel as a place to sleep after spending an entire day on the lake. The staff were accommodating, and very polite. Clean, comfortable room. Didn’t get a chance to dine at the Italian restaurant, but will definitely make a point of doing so on our next visit.

This is the old style, simple motel. Clean, pleasant, awesome breakfast, nice little town. Our morning walk was quiet and peaceful.

The property in the area was very nice.The staff was absolutely amazing Katie.S was amazing.She was very accommodating understanding and she listened. Their head housekeeping.I think she was definitely having a bad day. But at the end of the day, everything worked out.

I loved that they had water bottles at no extra cost... These helped as a reminder to drink water when we went to the Hoover Dam.

The staff was very helpful. The location is perfect if you have a pet as there is a veterinarian next door and further down is a nice park to walk your pet. The breakfast area was large so plenty of room to move around. Very nice place to stay

It was nice that there is a restaurant on the premises but they were so busy we had to go somewhere else.

Can’t believe you wouldn’t have the a/c on in the room when it’s over 100 outside. Took 3 hours to cool off room. Couldn’t sleep.

A clean, comfortable room with a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. Very convenient location with lots of food options within walking distance and very close to downtown Boulder City.

My only complaint, which was a BIG problem, is that my room never cooled down. The cooler only cooled, somewhat, around the bed. The rest of the room was hot, both days. It was 111 degrees outside, so we needed the room to be cooler than 85 degrees!

I would suggest that when a room is reserved that the AC be started. It was pretty hot when we first got in the room. It took a couple of hours to get it cooled down.

This is a great place and is walking distance from the town.

All in all a good place to stay, but a 4pm check in time is excessive. I tend to stay in places that have1-2pm check in time.

It wasn't absolutely terrible though – no bed bugs. I like that they offered makeup remover/towel. I thought it was unique. The TV, microwave, and fridge worked fine as well as the AC (although it was loud like my earlier point). I didn't give it 1 star mainly because the staff was extremely friendly/attentive upon arrival/departure. Much appreciated and made the stay more bearable.

Hotel has popcorn ceilings. Rooms need updating. Soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers were completely empty in both hotel rooms. 1 small bar of soap for sink and shower. Two adults in our room, family of 4 in the other. Their coffee pot was not working. For $148 a night, expected a decent stay. Hot tub was not working. Looking at reviews looks like it hasn’t been for a while. Complained to the front desk on check out, said she could not give us a discount, cuz we booked through a 3rd party. Will Hotels.com apply a discount for both rooms???

I liked that it was a walkable distance from several stores and museums as well as the downtown area. It’s also very clean and offered free breakfast. The staff is also very nice and accommodating.

Everything was good! The hot tub was closed but the pool was open. Nice rooms. There was a stain on one of the beds but overall clean. The area is good! Nice restaurants nearby! Recommended!

This hotel has doors that open to the outdoors. The walkways on the upper floors are very bumpy and thereby noisy from wheeled luggage. It is a long hotel with I think one elevator. The area is a bit sketchy, but turn left on the road and go up the hill a ways. Really nice town.
