    The price was right in the right location. This hotel desperately needs a makeover. Nonexistent lobby, they had coffee behind a locked door. Not sure if you had to pay for it or not. Overall the room was nice with a kitchen set up. Although not sure about the bathroom cleaning, there was an odor.

    The room was so damp and moist, that the carpeting was gross to walk on barefoot. The room smelled of that damp, mildew smell the second you walked in and lingered. Even the sheets felt damp the whole stay. My clothes smelled of mildew the whole time from being in the room. If you'd wanted clean towels or sheets, you needed to go to the desk to ask for them. I will not be staying at this hotel again, it just felt gross the entire stay.

    The staff were both very nice and helpful. We went into two different because the first room did not have outlets on both sides of the bed. We noted that in both rooms everything felt damp, no matter what settings we tried on the air conditioner. It was pretty gross. Staff good, but hotel needs a total re-do. Would not stay there again unless they have done a major renovation.

    The room was amazing and had an extra set of towels! We had our first hotels fire situation and everyone was safe and able to go back in the room. So happily everyone is safe. I suggest a secure pool system. Someone came 8nto the pool area was very profane and eventually explicit in her conversation so i had to leave the pool area with my. Year old. It was scary how rude her conversation was and she creeped in the pool area. This was not a patron.

    Quiet, clean, convenient. However, they should check the maintenance of the kitchen appliances. Only one burner worked on the stove and then that one quit just before I left. I didn't bother to report it because I wasn't using it much and was only there for a week. I didn't want service people in my room during my stay. But if a stove is important to you, check the burners before you unpack. Beds very comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful. Convenient location. Surprisingly quiet for it's location near the highway.

    The room was stinky. It smelled like cat pee, and cigarettes. The carpet felt damp as if they tried to shampoo it, but it only made the smell worse thankfully, I was only there for work, but the room smelled awful. I could barely tolerate it.

    Great location and distance from stores and resturants. No more than 20 minute ride the longest. I reserved or booked a suite and received a regular room. It was small. Bed was small Queen bed. Not enough lighting in the room. Lights thats in the room are dim. Room smelt like smoke eventhough it is a smoke free room

    I love the location and the price for the room. It was exceptional. The room could use a little detailing as in the chip wall painting, stained ceiling etc. Also the room could use a charger port as in if someone left their charger block, the room could have charger pieces to charge phones in case of emergency.

    It was a place to stop when we were done driving! Room was comfortable, bed was comfortable, cute little kitchen that we didn’t use I woke up to sticks poking me in the bed. No I did not check it out before I jumped in - I was too cold and tired. Also the tub was dirty with a nasty dirty crack - so that killed the morning shower.

    During our stay we had two fire alarms where we had to evacuate the rooms. One at approximate 11:30PM and the second at 2:30am. The staff did not clearly communicate the cause of the issue or provide clear instructions on where to rally in the parking lot, or when it was safe to return to the room. Furthermore, following the alarms, the water was turned off to the entire building, including all showers toilets and sinks. The staff offered a bottle of water to my wife and I as compensation.

    room itself was nice, however the hallways smelled HORRIBLE. i’m talking hold-your-breath bad. i almost passed out trying to make it to the 4th floor lol. i also felt like the rooms weren’t cleaned as good as they could be. bed sheets were fine but the chair hadn’t been wiped down.

She’s the perfect person to have at the front desk to welcome people. She was so friendly and outgoing. We will be back and we will be staying there again.     We were very disappointed with the location and layout of the pool. There were cigarette butts floating in an ash tray on the table, no towels and other guests socks and a shirt left behind. The LVT in our room was so slick from the cleaner used and there were several things broken - the drawer on the dresser, the privacy curtains, the towel holder and false drawer pull in the bathroom. The kitchen area and fridge were nice but we forgot to turn on our ice maker and there were no ice machines in the hotel. Overall very disappointing for this part of Bluffton.

    It’s a tough time of the year. It’s been hot and very humid and when we entered our room, it had a musty smell. Not overwhelming, but still there. Otherwise we’d like the staff, they’re helpfulness and the way the room was appointed.

    I stayed at Candlewood Suites for two nights while attending my father’s memorial service, and it was one of the most frustrating and disappointing hotel experiences I’ve ever had.     First of all the elevator wasn't working the entire week. Come to find out, it had been 2. Our room was missing the tv in the bedroom, took 3 days to get one. The fan in the wall that is supposed to pull the ac into the bedroom didn't work.Offered to let me change rooms after 2 days of being left hanging. Told maintenance would be up,never showed or called to lmk they were waiting on tv and parts for fan(which never did get fixed). Most of the staff was not very friendly or helpful. Laundry room was free but had only 2 washers working and 3 dryers that worked. Asked for propane for the grill and was told they didn't have any. Another guest told us where they kept the refills and low and behold there was propane. Employee at desk was just too lazy to be bothered. Also, was granted a late check out but still got locked out of my room while loading my vehicle. Actually not a bad place. Just needs a bit of maintenance and better more caring employees. Some were actually quite rude.

    Upon approach to the property it was clean and scenic. We were welcomed with a smile by Lori. The lobby and hallways were clean. Once in the room, it was clean, clean and pleasant smell. The bathroom was up to date and clean. There was lotion, shampoo and bathwash. The room was very spacious. Upon leaving it was easy out as well. There was no breakfast offered at this site but we found a Cracker Barrel across the street. Great place to stay, I would recommend it.

    Lanisha The Assistant General Manager was extremely helpful and gave me a very quiet room as I requested. It was an "accessible" room and the layout was good. The beds could be softer, but I put the blanket under the sheet and used a blanket of my own for the top cover.

    We were delayed at check in by a first in front of us asking for the cheapest room rate for an extended period of time and also kept asking for discount coupons. Seems like people were living there long term

    Air conditioning didn't work first night front desk clerk did nothing to help. I had to run to Walmart to buy a fan and it still was hot in room. Bathtub has rust stains, drain plug unhinged and broken and lots of scale built up. AC was fixed second night but miserable night sleep night before did not make up for it.
