Stop over overnight for us. Clean. We used the fitness centre and pool. Renovations while we were there, that I wasn’t aware of. Not a big deal, but we had to have breakfast in our room.

The first time since I have been a bonvoy member wished I hadn't been. The entire lobby area was under construction which is fine, I appreciate the fact that they're keeping the hotel but it was not announced on the website or during my registration process or even after registration a construction noise was very loud all day. I had to use the room for all my remote work calls and meetings and we wandered next door during the middle of the stay to the Hilton garden inn. I still have my hiltoners points. Looks like I'll be switching back to them after this. The rooms were decent but staff were preoccupied in with the construction and the noise and the the really impractical availability of the business center or the dining facilities impacted the stay greatly.

Room was clean did not like the sensor lights there were too many. Breakfast area under construction was not told when booking was done.

The staff was doing their best to keep things running professionally through all of it, and they are highly commended for their kindness, helpfulness, and hard work to remain positive while jackhammers were the backdrop for phone calls, customer questions, etc. I would look forward to staying here again.... after the construction is completed.

The floor above us was terribly noisy late into the evening. Other than that staff was friendly and hotel is nice and well maintained.

The property was nice. There were renovations, so it was noisy during the day. Not that bad. We had a few problems with our room. First, the TV would turn off and on by itself. Then it would not turn on at all. Then the water stop in the room. We checked later and the faucet worked. The toilet flushed, but the second time it was used, there was no water to the toilet. Very embarrassing!! Then there was this weird condensation on the ceiling above my daughter bed that dripped on her. Then we had not hot water in the shower and has to shower in another room. The shower head sprayed everything direction so that was not pleasant. Breakfast was fine. It was the exact same thing every day. It was free, so we were ok. That's it.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful to inform us that construction is happening on a certain floor and to suggest the top floor to sleep for one of my friends who has a hard time sleeping with sound. They had soap in the shower, the pool was nice, and the breakfast had everything that I needed. Also, they had herbal tea options, and most hotels that I have been to only have caffienated tea, so that was amazing. They also have water available and free parking. I will definitely be coming back here if I happen to stay in Bakersfield again.

Clean and offered free self serve water, coffee, tea all day! The front desk staff were wonderful and actually acknowledge you when walking in and out. Breakfast was delicious! Egg soufflés that were outstanding. Comfy beds and great decor. Will definitely stay again.

I love the location, hospitality from the front desk clerks, and free breakfast. The beds always provide softness and support for a good nights rest. I think the housekeeping staff need to be retrained. Because I’m sure cleaning standards are a priority. But, quality control is being overlooked. Upon my arrival, the bathroom within our suite; had a stained shower curtain that looked like blood. We complained and the situation was fixed. Thereafter, we were informed by housekeeping that the stain on shower curtain was food. In the future, whenever a housekeeper departs from a room. I’m sure they have to complete a final inspection. Unfortunately, it was an oversight and hope it would not be an ongoing issue.

I was informed that there are renovations happening. The front disk clerk told me and I choose to have a room on the first floor because she told me they don't have rooms that have been renovated and have bathtubs. The front desk check in also said it would not be happening until after 8. The work started before 7. It was very very loud and it doesn't feel appropriate that our room should have been rented. Even the fact that I requested a bathtub. Maybe we could have been in another room?

I liked the staff and the overall environment felt safe and comfortable. Maybe add some Potatoes or rice at breakfast. It would would be nice to have some weights in the fitness room.

Heater was not working and they could not fix it with the staff available. Fortunately the room was comfortable so this did not present a problem. Our stay was fine.

Location! Staff Hospitality! Breakfast Selection! No disrespect! But, I don’t think the furniture accommodates the average height and weight of the American people. Because the chairs, tables, bed, and toilet are too low. The bed was very soft and comfortable. But, I strained to get in and out of the bed.

Staff was great. Pool was great. The coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby was a nice touch. The room was nice. I liked the separate living room area and the Microwave and fridge in the room. Tv had a few different options of things to watch, but could've been bigger.

So kind and seemed genuinely happy to be working particularly the gentleman who took a look at our weirdly running toilet on thanksgiving day, the young lady who checked us in at 3pm the day before thanksgiving and the lady who ran the breakfast area thanksgiving day. If I had a business I would steal them away.

Firstly there is a horrible smell in the hotel, at first I assumed it was the eggs from the continental breakfast. But the smell lingered all the way to the 4th floor. It was a sulphuric smell, it just wouldn’t go away. The condition is very out dated and reminds me of an 80’s motel. Tv was small and outdated and wasn’t even working properly. Bathroom shower liner had mildew stains and the shower head sprayed all over the place and took so long for the water to get hot. The stains in the toliet lid, were yellow and rusted. This was a business trip and I had to be up early. The AC never got the room to temp, it was loud for nothing. Overall just very exhausting weekend and was not looking forward to a long drive after a sleepless night. Unfortunately wasn’t the experience I was hoping for.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was for one night and my kids wanted to stay longer..lol. its very clean, nice location. The staff are friendly and helpful. Not a sound proof room. We were awakened by the loud noise of the next room's shower at 6:30 am. We were located at the second floor.

This was a nice place! Quiet location. Breakfast was really good, and they even had oat milk, which was very appreciated. Great value! We plan to stay here again next time we are traveling through to SoCal.

First of no parking in front went to back and our key did not open back door, next morning we were in a hurry, no hot water the receptionist gave us a room to shower. But could not send someone over to bring us the key, it was an inconvenience to come down and get the key… over all it was very disappointing, I would never recommend this particular hotel to any of my friends…

After paying for my stay through Expedia, the hotel also charged the entire cost of the stay to the credit card they took for incidentals only. Then they gave me the runaround for a couple of weeks stating they do not have a record of the transaction when I submitted copies of my credit card statement shown clearly the charges. I eventually had to file a dispute with my bank.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable for my family. Conveniently located right off the freeway. Also, I stayed due to my husband’s hospital stay and staff was very friendly and welcoming.

The staff was super nice, helpful and available, the breakfast was outstanding and unexpected. The only complaint was lumpy pillows and the room setup was strange with tv split between bedroom and living room part?

Parts of the hotel seem pretty nice and other parts seem dated, like the rooms themselves, but the hallways look nice. Anyway, price was good so can't complain and would probably stay again on the way down from northern California.

Overall a good hotel

The hotel was in a well secured area, close to shopping and many dining options. I felt that our car was in a safe location. Every staff member that we came encounter with were friendly and greeted us warmly. The room had a nice layout, very comfortable bed and couch seating area. A few of the walls could use a fresh coat of paint but I wasn't really focused on that too much. The only thing wrong with our stay was that the ice machine on the 4th floor did not work, so i had to go to the 2nd floor. One of the times, the elevator had a dirty towel on the floor, which is no biggie because it was removed promptly. I'd definitely stay here again as well as recommend it to friends/family.

Slept like a baby in those quuen beds. Very comfortable. Will stay agin next time in bakersfield.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. The shower was broken, and the iron board was also in disrepair. Clearly, the rooms are in desperate need of a remodel. The front desk was severely understaffed, and don't even think about getting a room change—they’ll just leave you stuck in your current room. The manager Curtis is extremely rude and avoids addressing any concerns as he feels “uncomfortable”. They flat out lie about any complaints you make to avoid offering a refund. When I asked to speak with him, he refused, claiming they were short-staffed and couldn’t do anything about the issues. Avoid this hotel at all costs!

Quick stay over night for my son’s college football game. Very convenient and in a good location for our plans.

I checked into the hotel, tired and ready to take a bath, when I stepped into the water, which was rusty red along with rust particles lying at the bottom of the bathtub. It was late, so I reran the water, which was clear this time. The next day, bath particles came out of the faucet again.

This was the best run property out of several I’ve stayed in in Bakersfield

The hot tub was outside, pool inside. The breakfast was great. Comfortable beds.

The beds are SOOO comfy and the pillows! Slept wonderful! Everything is clean and breakfast is perfect!

We needed a place to stop from our trip to Grand Canyon. It was the right choice.

Property is very old. Mattress very soft. We can hear noise from neighbor room as walls are very thin and no sound proof. It’s just k for a night stay .

Overall stay was fine. Sofa bed was bed.

Nice friendly staff with cookies when you check in. They fixed the plumbing earlier so it was nice the staff gave us heads up to run the water before hand. Close to stores and restaurants in a quiet area. Plenty of parking

Friendly staff, the rooms need a little bit TLC but they were ok.

The women at the front counter were amazing. I was nervous relocating my life in my car. They reassured me the safety of the property. They checked in on me! They made sure that we were well taken care of. I was very impressed with the customer service at the front desk - Lillian was the best! Very comfortable hotel.

Excellent stay for a couple of days! They offer a wide range of options for breakfast, the staff were always super friendly, and the rooms were comfortable and clean.

There was an awesome arcade place nearby.

The couch mattresses are worn out and dirty. Bathroom shower curtain is dirty. There’s a dirty rug towel in the bath tub. Had to move to a different room, same problem noted with the couch mattress.
