    The big family slide was not working the flow rider the surfing was closed they said they would open it in 2 weeks. The hallways in the orchid building in the 3rd floor needed to be vacuumed and had many stains. Food by the pool was very pricey.

    Some of the water park rides were closed. We booked a room for 5 and only 3 bracelets for the water park were given. We had to paid for extra bracelets and according to the website water park access was included.

    That being said, the staff throughout the rest of the resort were very nice. A quick heads-up for future guests regarding the amenities: your stay includes waterpark entrance, but keep in mind that it does not operate like a standard hotel swimming pool that stays open late. All children's facilities close early at 6:00 PM. If you are used to places like Universal's Loews Royal Pacific or the Hilton in Orlando—where pools stay open until 10:00 or 11:00 PM—just adjust your expectations for the evening here!

    Overall it wasn't the experience I expect from a JW Marriott. At check-in we were not told anything about how parking worked, so we had to go back and forth with the parking attendant and reception, then we were also not given an amenity card, so once arriving at the waterpark we had to turn around and go back to reception for that, it was just frustrating that none of this was spoken about at check in. The property also did not have a pool for kids to be able to enjoy once the water park was closed which, for being a family hotel I would at least hope there is somewhere they could swim. The staff (aside from check in) was remarkable, I would have given that 5 stars if check in was better. The cleanliness was ok, it does look like a lot of areas are just slapped with layers of paint, and the bathtub was so dusty and gross, pretty sure they don't clean that often. The waterpark had multiple things closed/not in use and all slides and food/drink services stopped at 5, so not sure what the point of saying it closes at 6, when clearly everything stopped at 5.

    I’ve been visiting the hotel with my kids for the last 7 years and the main reason is the water park, always included with the reservation, in this case after booking a suite only have access for the water park for 2 person and have to pay for 3.

    The water park area was also disappointing. There were not enough chairs or umbrellas for the number of guests, and the area for small children was closed during our stay. The staff told me I would receive a 20% refund for the inconvenience, but they said they needed to contact Expedia since that’s where I made my reservation. So far, I have not received any response or update. Overall, this experience was very disappointing compared to my previous visits.

    Location was great, room was ok. Crazy busy, waited ages for lifts, no pool other than the external water park which was insanely busy. Breakfast buffet very limited and of average quality. Limited facilities, couldn’t get a coffee in the morning other than the Starbucks as the only venue onsite was reserved for platinum members.

    It was Memorial day weekend, so I can understand if they were busy. But my room was made up after 6pm, after spending the whole day out it was dissapointing to find the room not made. Room service took a very long time, 90 minutes for chicken wings and a sandwich.

    If you have young children do not hesitate to visit this magnificent resort!! Fun for all ages ! Im 70 and had a blast on all the water slides lol. The resort was clean and staff was Unbelievably friendly and helpful especially Boris at the front desk and John at the Corsair bar! We went from Wednesday to Saturday, Wednesday to Friday was beautiful no crowds and then Saturday it got very very, very busy. Keep that in mind if you’re not a crowd person. Thank you for a wonderful time.

The pool attendants were very good, and when searching for beds on a busy day, we were assisted and taken to a free location. Aventura mall is directly opposite, quite nice for a wonder around. Food and service in the restaurant were poor. We ate breakfast there once and had the buffet. After waiting for 15 minutes from being seated, the table that came in 10 minutes after us were served, and we were then told we had 15 minutes to eat.

    we really enjoyed the water park. The hotel for the price that i paid I expected more. the rug in hallways look dirty. And so did the chairs by the elevator. And there was an issue with the shower door in my room. The door was missing a piece at the bottom so the water would not come out. So, since that was missing every time we would take a shower outside the shower would be like a huge puddle. One of the times that we forgot to dry the puddle my husband fell down. Be aware of this if you get room 4513 at JW marriott in aventura Miami, Fl. I notify the front desk about the danger of this but the guy at the front desk did not really paid much attention to my complain. This room was expensive and I don't feel like I got my moneys worth.

    Check in was 4pm but they didn’t have my room ready till 5:16pm then a gentleman staff member at the front desk told me I had to wait in the long line again even though I already did the pre check in I told him I just need my keys he rolled his eyes at me and said hold on he was annoyed with me but they are the ones giving me the room late he could have at least apologized for that but that didn’t happen and then he came back and gave me one key I asked if I could have two at least like every other hotel resort does and he said no they ran out. If he worked for me I would have fired him on the spot that’s unacceptable behavior towards guest. Anyone would have not liked that experience. Other than that the resort is beautiful and very clean the room was very spacious and the rest of the staff was amazing. Ps: to management you really should only have professional employees working that front desk.

We spent 250 on lunch that was nothing special that came in to go tins. staff was nasty. Made you check through security and sign waivers everytime you enter pool. Would never come back this is far from luxury resort

    It’s a nice property, but I wouldn’t say it’s first class. It is very family friendly, but the room is what I would call Soso. There are no such thing as Terry cloth robes the restaurant bourbon steak really not a place you want to go to it’s mediocre steak to say the least place is a bit dirty. I think they’re having a little problem with language barriers not too many people spoke English properly, so that was a problem so be prepared I would practice your Spanish before you go long lines in checking in not too many amenities like good restaurants but nice golf course should be prepared for that.

    We had issues since the check-in. The booked room, a junior suite, what's not available. They gave us a regular bedroom however they intended to keep the original junior suite room rate which was significantly more. We had to protest. They promised us the suite the next day. We waited the entire day. About 6pm, they finally said sorry, no room. We had to protest. They did corrected the rate for the room we had to stay in and gave us some hotel credits. We requested extra pillows, two separate times, nothing. We requested refreshing the bathroom towels, first time ignored, second time just a stack of face towels, third time (last day) we got fresh towels. Positives: location, golf, waterpark, bar, available parking, spa and gym.

    The rooms seemed a bit out dated. The pool area was nice but it was hard to get chairs unless you got there right when they opened. The price of food/drinks at the pool were priced extremely high and they do not allow outside food or beverage. $19 for a mixed drink. Not many domestic beer choices, budlight was all I saw. Staff was friendly. Resort restaurants were good.

    When we got to our room, we realized it wasn’t the room I had originally reserved. After bringing my family there, I had to go back to the lobby to request the correct room and then move my family and belongings to another room in a different tower. I also parked the car myself, which was fine since I prefer not to use valet and like to park on my own. However, I ended up bringing all of the luggage to the room by myself because no one really offered to help. By the time someone finally did, I was on my last trip from the car to the room, so there wasn’t much left to carry. The staff was always nice, but overall, this wasn’t the experience I was hoping for.

    The location as far as being close to the mall, view from my 5th floor window I didn’t like the cleanliness of my room nor chip painting. It just seems like an overpriced basic experience. No refrigerator no microwave and a refrigerator. They brought to me was dusty and had to sit on the floor in the middle of where we walk and try to relax so it was a very subpar experience not netting the almost thousand a day it cost. Further on I had $850 in my safe and I end up having $50 taken and can’t count for it. I counted it very well knew I had a fist $50 bill and so I don’t know what to think someone who brought the refrigerator up while I was there must have gone in the safe. I don’t know.. but what a bummer!! I would never stay there again and I’ve been trying to retrieve One day refund which has not been granted yet promised, but not granted by the manager by the name of Cameron, so I wait but now I would never want to stay there again at the water at the pool was dingy everything’s and white so you see the green mold around the pool frame and I didn’t go on the waterpark slides because I felt like my arm got a little rash started itching. I just didn’t feel comfortable so I didn’t enjoy the theme park, which is the waterpark because of the issues with the water and the green algae or whatever you call it around the pool surfaces, interior and out bad experience.

    I did not like the stay. It was not worth for the amount of money that was charged. I have traveled to lot of 5 star hotels and resort but this experience unfortunately was the worst. General hospitality was not good, I had to work hard for everything here. I even informed the resort that I am staying here for my marriage anniversary but nothing special was done which was not the case when I stayed at other 5 star resorts and hotels for my marriage anniversary.

    There were numerous other complaints we had that I don’t have time to get into here, but one that I will call out was the bed mattress was totally old and lopsided on both sides. It felt like a pyramid that rose in the middle and both the left and right sides sloped off. It was impossible for my wife and I to get a good nights sleep. By the end of the trip we were absolutely exhausted from no sleep by that old, worn out mattress. Another thing is that this was advertised as a smoke free property… it’s not. There is a full blown cigar bar right behind the lobby, people smoking Cigarettes in the outdoor hallways with ashtrays every 50 feet, and numerous times we smelled cigarettes at the pool. This was NOT what we expected for our 3 year old daughter. We will not be returning to this hotel for our annual holiday trip. Terrible experience.

However a lot has changed from the last time I stayed here and it came with a lot of confusion trying to get answers which left me a little dissatisfied. The first being that for birthdays, the hotel is able to send up balloons and chocolate covered strawberries. This time they said I needed to make a request 24hrs in advance and since I was staying only 1 night I didn’t have time. I picked this resort because of the nice things they do for people’s birthday and plus I did send a email saying it was my mom’s birthday. However the person I spoke with over the phone said yall didn’t have access to the frontdesk@jwmarriot email address and we were only able to receive some balloons. Which was very disappointing because the reason I picked this resort again as her one night staycation is because of how beautiful the resort is and the special things yall do for people’s birthdays. So it was a big let down. The second confusing thing was the rules for the driving rage. Usually the driving rage is complimentary with cubs and they allowed you to take a golf cart to the drive.     When we checked in the receptionist was very pleasant and professional. They even upgraded our room to a junior suite because we were there for a birthday. That evening, we DoorDash food and we told that the pole downstairs, which is adults only 18 and up, was a 24 hour pool. At 9 o’clock we went to get into the pool and at 9:30 security told us it was not a 24 hour pool we had to get out. We got out and explained we were told it was 24 hours and security said well we’ll have to correct that with the front desk. The next morning we went to lay out by the pool and the pool attendant started harassing my niece about not being 18. She is actually 22 years old and had to provide ID which she did not wanna look at and kept telling her she had to leave because she was not 18. As a sidenote, there were children around the ages of nine sitting with their parents at the pool and they were not being harassed. The room that we were upgraded to face the golf course where we heard golf carts and laundry carts moving outside our window all night long. I got a phone call and had to go out into the hallway and did not have time to find my key because I needed privacy and the phone call was important so I propped the door open. Security then came by and told us that it was against their policy for us to have a door propped open, and I had to go in and find my key. I was never provided a list of what I was and was not allowed to do in the confines of my own room or in the hallways. Worst trip

    We came specifically for Tidal Cove, and it did not disappoint. The size is perfect — not too big, not too small — and the kids were entertained nonstop. The staff throughout the waterpark and resort were exceptional: friendly, attentive, and great with families. Our room (a King Resort View) was ideal for the three of us. Fresh, modern, spacious, and perfectly comfortable. Plenty of room to relax after long days in the sun. We didn’t dine on property or golf this trip, but everything we saw looked beautiful and well-kept. Next time we’ll make space for those. Overall, Turnberry delivered a stress-free, sun-filled, memory-making getaway. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

    Not really reviewable as had a very unfortunate experience due to power cut leading to no Internet and no air-conditioning- which took a long time to resolve. We no received no housekeeping during the stay and nobody was able to come and make up the beds or clean the room which I found quite preposterous considering the calibre of Hotel. Was unable to eat breakfast as queues were too long so ended up going to the Starbucks on site. Spoke to management and ended up with a full refund aftwt 2 mi yes of back and forth. had we not have had all these unfortunate incidents its a great hotel for the kids with the waterpark, but regrettably that was not the case.

    The hotel is beautiful. The staff is extremely friendly. My only complaint is for the price you pay for the rooms. I should not be able to hear the people on either side of me loud and clear. I could not sleep for two nights because all I heard was conversations and other things happening in the room on both sides of me. Even occurred late into the night. I did reach out to the staff at the front desk to let them know, but there was nothing they could really do about it. The room is nice, but again it’s not quiet even if the people next to you are having a conversation and the other room it’s as loud and clear as if they were in the same room as you.

    Our check- in was delayed by an hour the staff was extremely courteous and accommodating by waving resort fees and valet fee but that wasn't the end of it...after spending the night we woke up to ants all over the table in our room, the room service table had yet to be picked up in the morning. Which is why my review leaves me at 3 stars, the property is beautiful and the staff is extremely attentive... the ants not good!

The manager handled our concerns well and offered to comp our breakfast which we declined. We didn't use the water park because of the weather but it looked beautiful. Valet staff was fabulous and even remembered our name.

    Nice rooms clean nice pillows The water park tide was under maintenance and had close almost all the pool and was dirty i call the hotel to ask about before my stay and no one mention the waterpark being like this for the last month I checked out they asked me how was it and I mentioned that the pool was closed and dirty and they said all we didn’t know anything about so unhappy i will not get back

    We always appreciate how hard the staff works and how outgoing they are. The rooms smell and the closets make your clothes smell old and musty. The carpet needs deep cleaning and the rooms freshened.

    Hotel was very nice. Room very clean. I was very disappointed for the amount of money I paid that the main pool was broken and was not allowed into all weekend. That pool is in the center of the water area and best to able to see kids going back and forward.

    From check-in to check-out, everything was amazing. I was upgraded and my goodness my room was to die for. Room service was fantastic, delicious and fast, and I was even allowed to stay in my room past normal checkout time. Overall it was an amazing birthday at the Turnberry, I highly recommend this to anyone needing to treat themselves.

    Beautiful Golf Course and loved the pools and nearby shopping. Only issue we had was a few people thinking that the adults only pool area didn’t apply to them. Even management had a hard time resolving the issue.

    We arrived to the property around 11am. Our room wasn’t ready but we knew it would be ready around 4pm. They did give our family access to the tidal cove water park. Which was awesome for the kids. Around 2pm we got our room. We must say super nice room and bathroom. Alway content everytime we stayed at this hotel. For sure coming back because our kids love the room and especially the water park amenities. Also the staff is super helpful and friendly.

    I enjoyed my stay at this resort but was very upset that they charged more for parking than they should have. I was there 6 days and I received a statement print out showing how much I was charged at check out but when I looked at my statement they added an additional day. I reached out to them and provided proof but the lady I was in contact with never responded again. Very disappointed that you would ruin someone’s experience over $45. You have no right charging me for an extra day of parking when I was not at your resort or parking garage!!!

    However, some of the smaller details missed the mark. For example, the closet had hangers labeled “Enjoy these robes,” but no robes were actually provided. There was no refrigerator in the room, though one was promptly brought up when requested — unfortunately, it was in pretty rough shape. The patio space was lovely to have, but the chairs were worn out and falling apart, which took away from the experience. It’s a property with great potential, and I can see the effort put into the overall presentation, but a little more attention to these details would make the stay truly exceptional.

    We ate at CORSAIR kitchen & bar for breakfast which was delicious. My husband has Marriott Elite status and usually we can eat breakfast for free at the buffet for all four of us. This location covered the two adults ONLY. Most JW Marriott locations honor all four of us. Plus, they added gratuity to our entire bill but we only had to pay for the kids.... Still waiting to see what they fully charge us. We didn't like that about this location.

    Noise! I heard people yelling in Spanish and slamming doors all night long. Front desk doesn’t answer the phone after midnight and the evening staff was short and rude. Needed help with my luggage for an early morning flight no one ever answered the phone. I had to struggle to the lobby with my handicapped mother, 4yr old and a ton of luggage to find the front desk person just sitting around with a bell hop. This place is beautiful with nice amenities but the lack of attentive staff ruined it for me. I will not return.

    Stay away if you travel with kid. The water park is ok but at 5 star closing everywhere. Hotel pool is only for adults. No kid areas. So at 5 pm forget about pool time.

    The pool was extremely packed , limited seating for those that are staying overnight and sleeping at the hotel. The hotel guest should have priority over those just visiting for a day pass.     Food was not good . Super basic . These are “ herb fries “ not 1 herb. Also when I asked if they can do a tuna sandwich and not wrap they said it already comes pre made . I expected better food . I ate breakfast lunch and dinner there and I wouldnt again .

    The staff that checked me in was very short and standoffish. I was told I would receive a text when my room was ready I never received that text. Instead I had to check back in with the front desk after waiting nearly 3 hours on a text that never came. When I finally got into my room there was a spider in my bed, the room was almost clean, the balcony was dusty and the view was horrible.

    Staff is courteous and goes out of their way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. The waterpark is a lot fun both for kids and adults. We stayed for 4th of July celebration and they plenty of activities and the fireworks show was exceptional. Will highly recommend to other guests.

    Second time staying at this property and we always had a pleasant experience. We were allowed to check in early both times and were able to get into the water park early. However, it’s also always a challenge getting out of the garage, receptionist took all our keys at check out and advised us to call for help in order to open the gate to exit but nobody is picking up calls,
