Nice rooms with great breakfast

We would have never reserved here without an operational pool and hot tub. So false advertising aside… the room was just OK. Bed was harder than I prefer, pillows looked like 4 little mints on the bed. The breakfast was terrible even by fake hotel egg standard. They were slimy… not runny, slimy. Limited options and biscuits were about the size of a silver dollar. Overall would never come back. Positives were hot water and cold AC so being totally transparent these were good. Everything else from the lies up front on was not anything I would return to.

The continental breakfast and dining area was the only down sore from having a great experience at this location.

Pleasantly surprised with the quality of this hotel. I need to stay in this area of Austin often and this will be my go-to place.

Breakfast had a good variety of food such as eggs, bread, cereal, waffles and fruit. Sadly, the Juice machine was out. Rooms were clean and ready for our stay. During our stay we returned in the middle of the night to our room only to find out our cards were not working at 12:30/1 am. Front desk tried her best to help with other options but our clothes and son were in the room asleep. We were able to reach my son with a call from the desk. As for the pool, it was nice and spacious but had no sun hitting the pool area so it was cold and windy.

The property was easily access to the highway. It was clean and inviting. Staff were professional and friendly, the room was excellently prepared for us. The A/C was phenomenal. The bathroom was sparkling and the towels soft. I would stay there again and recommend to friends.

My first room came with a TV that wouldn't connect to the satellite service. They easily moved me to another room where I found the tub was very dirty. The tub floor was dirty around the drain, the tub filled up with water when I took a shower because the drain was clogged, and the soap dish had a lot of built up soap residue in it. Other than that it was a pretty nice place. The staff was excellent. They were very helpful during my stay and was very helpful shipping my belongings to me when I left a bag behind.

Although our room was clean.. there was a very strong lingering smell of mildew or mold to include the hall way. We could not look past this .. no matter how much air freshener you use the smell doesn’t go away. The AC is a window unit 6 inches from the bed.. either you freeze or you sleep in hot climate.. which again brings out the horrible mildew musk. The pool was dirty and seems like it was only there to “promote” that there is one on the website. The gym wasn’t really a gym. Just a room with a couple treadmills. Breakfast was OK eggs, sausage, toast, and potatoes .. the cook lady was super nice. This hotel has everything for a comfortable stay but it lacks upgraded amenities and I think it’s from the hotel owners cutting corners. My suggestion is to upgrade the old smelly carpets, have working fridges, upgrade the TVs and AC units. This would’ve been a 5 star review but the smell…. The staff is amazing

The beds were rock hard, and the pillows really are square 12x12 which is a lot harder to sleep with. It’s clean, decent location, and nice staff. Definitely a budget hotel. I probably won’t stay there again, but it’s more personal preference on matress softness.

The rooms are okay, but the carpets are in really bad shape. The fitness room is a disaster, and the machines are broken. Breakfast is super basic, and the eggs are frozen and microwaved. I wouldn't stay there again.

The folded eggs with processed cheese were strange, the hash browns were soggy, and there was no apple or orange juice. I was really looking forward to a hot, hearty breakfast, but it was cold and very low quality. Overall, this stay wasn’t worth the money. I only stayed because I was exhausted, but honestly, I would have been better off saving my money and driving back home to San Antonio.

Front desk staff was non empathetic when I asked for a handicap room I have limited mobility and told the front desk I needed a low entry shower in my handicap bathroom, I was told “you will be fine- there are grab bars in the shower”. I could not access the shower tub as the grab bars were only in the tub area, none outside the tub to aid with the entry access to the shower. I went back to the front desk a second time to be told “that’s all we have”. I’ve stayed at other Sleep Inn hotels (not this one before) and I know their HC rooms have better amenities. We had an amazing stay. The only thing we had in issue with was cigarette smoke smell in the room but I went and purchased stuff to help and resolved the issue. Also the air-conditioning could work more efficiently.

Our room was lovely and spacious. Really nice to have a couch in the room, and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean and tidy. There was plenty of variety at breakfast. Staff very kindly extended our check out time to cater for a baggage issue. We would definitely stay here again.

Great breakfast! Eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy. They also have fruit, yogurt, a waffle station, bagels,muffins and more! Only 1 evening it took forever for the water to get hot in the shower, but I'm sure there were just lots of people needing it at the same time. It happens.

I was a little skeptical at first because of the price... Price was cheaper than what i usually pay.. Thought that it was going to be a bad situation that i put mystery in by trying to budget.. I ended up checking in really late at night because of a delayed flight. The overnight team member was very courteous and attentive, especially considering it was close to midnight when I arrived. The daytime and housekeeping crew were very courteous also, genuinely and not in an overbearing false pretense manner. They made me feel welcomed and comfortable during my stay. Great hospitality! i also liked that there was a fitness area on site. The Continental Breakfast was good as well. I wish I could have stayed longer but I had another destination area.

We selected this Motel because it was close to the Austin Rodeo and had decent reviews. Motel has a no smoking policy they charge $50 deposit to assure rooms stay smoke-free. Was told they would evaluate the room and if found smoking had occurred would run credit card to get deposit. We are non-smokers so no worries however room we were given had definitely been smoked in. We asked for a different room as we did not want to be charged a deposit on someone else's account. Host was quick to provide us with another room and even came with us to check the second room to make sure it was to our liking. He did not want us to have to travel back downstairs if there was a problem very nice of him. He also checked previous room and agreed someone had been smoking in it. Our beds weren't as comfortable as I would have thought they would have been as advertised with premium pillow top comforters and pillows. Shower head was a extreme water saving type and had no pressure or water flow. Room was also advertised to have refrigerator stocked with free drinking water and alcoholic beverages but did not just refrigerator we also did not see any water available at front desk. Free breakfast was not available as we left early 5:30ish. I wish motels advertising a free breakfast would provide breakfast earlier or other accommodations such as fruit or pastries for the early departing guest. Bed was a little uncomfortable and staff took a bit to tend to us in the front when checking in/out however allowed us to check out ahead of time which was great so overall the experience was good and we definitely see ourselves staying again in the near future. The direct tv is awesome, they have soft and firm pillows, however during my stay 'jan 20 to jan 22' the heater broke and they made it problematic about switching rooms but after insisting on either the heater is fixed or i get a new room someone came and replaced the heating coils, but that is not all, i had a late check out ,yet the morning front desk clerk opened my door while I was changing clothes. Highly unprofessional. Will definitely not stay there ever again.

The couple would be negatives (that most all hotels have … ie AC noise and doors banging in the morning) were easily dealt with by wearing ear plugs while sleeping. I would absolutely stay here again

It is a newer hotel so very clean & up to date. My only complaint was the air conditioner when it shut off you got hot & woke us up every time! Room was roomy & comfortable.

The TV remote didn't work well in room 420 (8/30/24). I was told that the symptoms meant either the in room box needed to be restarted (no simple task as I had to move the desk) or there was a sensor for the box that was not in the right place. Shouldn't the staff that services the room test the remote from across the room, since this seems to be a known common problem? Then maintenance could fix it before the room was occupied.

The area surrounding was a little suspect but I think that is the city of Austin period. Lots of homelessness and addicts. Overall It helped my family during the hurricane crisis in Houston

Super easy check in, side entrance to building so we didn’t have to walk all the way back to the front of the building to get to our room. There was an odd smell in the hallway and our room. It wasn’t a gross/dirty smell but couldn’t quite place it. Our room also had a smell to it. Almost like someone had food in the room before and it lingered. The carpet in the room could also use a deep cleaning but otherwise beds were nice and room looked good.

Conveniently located within a reasonable distance from the airport. Not far from downtown at all with access to other hot areas in the city of Austin.

Had a wild night so we expected to sleep in. After a few hours of sleep housekeeping was very loud bumping around in the hallway and other rooms that had early checkouts. It was 8AM. Around 9AM the housekeeping LET THEMSELVES IN my room. We didn't have the extra lock on since half of our party was at "breakfast " HOW RUDE!! Breakfast consisted of microwave foods. Terrible scrambled eggs, white mushy potatoes, pale sausage, along with typical breakfast cereals and such. At least they did have waffles though. That saved the day for me somewhat. As a whole I thought I paid too much for a tiny room in dire need of updates. That was amplified by my inability to get rest and a housekeeper barging in. Breakfast sucked. Only good thing was that I did not see bugs. Oh, ice maker was also out of commission on our floor. 140 dollars to not sleep and have poor breakfast 😕

The hotel doesn't have a lot of frills and breakfast isn't great. But the hotel was clean and well maintained. The room was clean, comfortable, and in good condition. Great value for the price.

Was very well pleased with this facility, other than a little confusion at check-in, but that was my fault. Front desk staff was friendly & helpful. I would stay here again.

Breakfast was very decent. Room was very clean and tidy. We would go back if we are visiting the area.

Felt unsafe, lobby smelled like cigarettes. Room drawer handles broken/unscrewed. Lots of men/ construction workers. Didn’t see any women or children. Cigarettes all over outside property.

Had issues with the elevators which were next to our room the last night. Hard to sleep with the dings from the doors dingong every couple of minutes.

Not the fanciest place but a good, safe, clean place to stay. Breakfast was good & hot.

Comfortable hotel close to my destination

Good service and quiet rooms. Breakfast buffet was ok but not as nice as some. Good place to stay!
