- Beautiful views of the Austin hills
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Breakfast offerings are not up to par
- Hotel is older and could use updates

Great value! Owner and staff very customer service oriented! Nice place and would recommend. Limited selections in breakfast but functional. Would do again!
- 4/5
This is a very old property that could use some exterior updates. The rooms were clean, but the bathrooms were dated, and could use remodeling.

I want to start off with saying this place is for people who appreciate "Texas charm" but, if you're looking for high class lodging this is NOT the place for you. If you're a Texas charm person, you'll appreciate the quirks. The view is hands down there absolute reason you'll book. The other reviews are mad about dust, old furnishing, musty smells, bugs..... IYKYK Texas hill country is about all of the above. I will say our toilet didn't work the first two nights and owner didn't really try to fix the issue for us until I personally went instead of my husband. The issue was fixed the third day. Breakfast? Plan to go get breakfast somewhere. The owner seems to be the only person running the place and it shows--- but if you love mountains, outside, songs of birds..... Book it. Get a suite!!!

Room was clean and staff was friendly!

Very nice and accommodating manager. Nice views from the property Tired and shabby buildings and decor, slow hot water to showers, pool unusable.
- 2/5
Decent location for travelers looking for something midway between Austin and lake Travis Overall everything was kind of janky. The room has missing curtains with only the curtain rod screws still in the wall. Neither of the wall mounted night lamps has light bulbs. The bed runner had stains. The towels were the lowest possible quality and you could see older stains on them. The pool wasn’t even operating, it was stagnant green water. I’m sure this property was nice at one point in time, but the pictures are not an accurate description of the place. The management in the front office seemed more intent on laying in the couches in the common space than actively working. If you’re simply looking for a place to rest your head at night and not concerned about anything else this place is fine. But you can honestly get more, for less, elsewhere.

It was cozy and the staff was very accommodating to my 2 am arrival. Room was very large and floors and all felt clean overall. You could tell it was a little dated and some dorty/mold areas in bathroom floor etc. However, the hotel rooms felt clean in general...but old and dated. Pool is also green/unusable. They should just drain it and say out of service.

The view was wonderful. Worn out outdated furniture. Broken appliances. Shower door did not close and apparently for some time now because there's mold growing on the wall adjacent to it. There is no housekeeping on a daily basis. One bar of soap was allowed and by bar of soap I mean the thinnest slice of Hotel so that you could find anywhere. And this was supposed to be for the sink and the shower like I said one bar. The pool looked like a breeding ground for a brand new communicable disease but however you could sit on the few broken flipped over chairs around the pool because you could still have access to the Hazardous condition. There was broken hoses and broken sprinkler lines rolled out against the building and all over the property. The couch that was supposed to be in the bedroom was just a piece of a multi-sectional. So it was an inoperable recliner as well as it was dangerous on both sides. The booking site said they offer cribs and extra beds on request however it was no such crib or bed available and instead of the property responding through the booking.com app they waited till we got there to tell us that.

Could use some upgrades but otherwise ver clean, loved the shower and I slept like a baby. Only thing I did not like was the fact that the hotel was pet friendly, do as I was falling asleep I got a good whiff of dog smell.

It is a little behind on maintenance but the dude running it is super nice and is trying to remodel where he can i would totally stay again

The property is decent but as soon as we got in our room, there was a musty odor, dead roach by the entrance and there was only one towel in the bathroom. When we requested some more towels we were given only two and they hesitated to give us 3 extra for the other room(rented 2 rooms). Had to explain that there are 4 occupants in the room and we are supposed to have only 2 towels in the room? In addition, the pool was advertised as seasonal but they could at least clean the pool area and not leave it green and dirty.
- 2/5
there were wasp nests outside of both exterior doors. The pool is outside, and was very green and looked non-functioning. The room had a musky smell, the bed skirts were dirty. There was black mold on the ceiling above the shower. The shower pressure was not great, but the temperature was good. A/C stayed cold. There wasn't a key card, there was a physical key which needed to be dropped off to the front desk in the morning so that housekeeping could use it to clean the room. We didn't get the room cleaned because the front desk guy was not at the desk in the morning for breakfast, which was supposed to start at 7am. I had to call him on his cell phone, which he said that he had been up and down all night due to the hotel being booked solid and people kept calling him for stuff. So it caused him to be late the next morning (Saturday). There was a Texas centipede (we think) stuck in the overflow drain in the sink, which kept popping its head out every time it felt water. We had to try and kill it ourselves. The mattresses were not comfortable, pillows were terrible. The only positive was that there was a couch in the room which helped with our youngest (cause that's where he slept), which he said was more comfortable than the beds. WILL NOT BOOK HERE AGAIN!
- 2/5
Not what we expected. Our room was not clean and had lots of moths flying around the room. Will not go back to this hotel.
- 3/5
Old and run down. Room was clean, but bathroom grout was old and stained. We came for the pool. It was green. Room only had one roll of toilet paper that was almost gone. However, the view was beautiful.
- 4/5
This a place just to lay your head. Nothing fancy at all. The pool was green the ice machine was broken. We ask for extra towels and they had none to share. The driveway needs to be fixed. No vending machine. No frills.
- 1/5
This place has made some severe cut back to save a buck. Rooms are dirty, full of flies, hair on walls and linens, discoloration in tables and floor, shower door doesn't close, found a roach on the wall. They painted over certian spots on the walls and left the rest another color and the walls and baseboards have never been cleaned, mold in the bathroom. And for your sitting pleasure you get a piece of a sectional :). Oh and the pool is a nice shade of puke green. Very dirty place to stay.
- 4/5
Rooms were spacious and clean, staff was polite. Breakfast was simple but enough to get the day started with coffee. Beautiful views.
- 1/5
When we checked in we were given room 113 which was not made up - we entered what appeared to be an occupied room with a metal key like the 1960's - when we finally arrived at our final room Room 111 we were given an electronic key. There appears to be no consistency at this motel except for it being consistently bad! The man at the front desk was not overly concerned - he was found asleep during working hours on the couch.
- 4/5
This hotel was ok, but it didn't have a hair dryer in the room, so I had to ask for one. It was almost like you had to "check out" the hair dryer which was kind of strange because I had to take it back to the front desk when we checked out, but they did have one, so I guess that was ok. Otherwise everything was fine.

The property was in a nice location with a great view and the front desk staff was friendly. The room and furnishings were very dated and worn. The paint was chipped and peeling on all doors, there was mold on the box spring, and the smoke detector was more than 10 years old and needed to be replaced. The worst part of our stay was the fact that the bathroom was infested with sewer flies. I shared this feedback with the gentleman at the front desk who didn’t seem too concerned. It was a very disappointing experience. The photos on-line reflect something very different than reality. Hotels.com is damaging its brand by being affiliated with this property.
- 5/5
I really enjoyed the area. Great restaurants, convenient to shopping. It was quiet. Nice views and pretty pool.
- 5/5
The hotel is in an awesome and safe location. We stayed here for 1 night for my cousins wedding. The rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. I wouldn’t mind staying here again.
- 4/5
Floors felt sticky and attributed to humid temps, but they also needed a good mop job.... proven by my slipper socks getting dirty after walking around the room. The comforter had a mark that, had it been me...I wouldn't have put that on a guest bed.
- 3/5
The room was mostly clean and the stay overall okay, but the view was amazing!
- 3/5
A small cockroach greeted me in the bathroom sink the first morning we were there. Shower leaked all over the floor. The room was "moist" (A/C issue?), and we woke up feeling clammy in the mornings. We never tried the breakfast amenity, but when we went by looking for a plastic spoon, it was tricky, so beware. HOWEVER, having a back patio was pretty cool - especially since we went out to the car to have a cigarette and forgot our room key and had no phones to call for help as there's no one at the desk overnight. Thankfully, we were able to go around behind the building and go in our room's patio door which we hadn't yet locked for the night. Otherwise, we would have been out of luck! We paid for Friday through Sunday night .... but we just ended up driving home Sunday night rather than stay until morning. We cared more about being in our own home/bed than we did losing that night's fare. A 4.5 hour drive was worth it.
- 3/5
It is in a beautiful spot with a beautiful view, but the room lacked some cleanliness. On the door frame walking out the back door looked like there was feces rubbed onto the door frame and wall. Walls really needed to be wiped down in other areas also
- 2/5
The pool is not useable. The room was dirty and we found a used pair of underwear. The linens were clean enough but this property is in serious disrepair.
- 3/5
I was looking for a pool, tub and breakfast none of this was there lol the place is awsome needs improvements but is ok beautiful property the AC in the lobby was off or i dont kmow it waseng cold and the brakefast was like minimal i didnt stay longer to see if they bring something better but over all the price match the place is not cheap but is not expensive i will go back if is for a fast stay for longer stay i wont choose it.

The room was very dirty, there were paint chips everywhere. The description said that there was a microwave and fridge but there was not. The grossest hotel room I've ever been in.
- 5/5
The room was awesome very clean. The staff was very friendly. Lotta shops nearby.
- 3/5
The overall stay was good and I could see where their making upgrades, but trying to run the lodge with one or two people doesn't work well. The location was great for attending the Whiskey Festival, it was close to everywhere we wanted to go and that was great! I'm glad that it was a guy trip, because my wife wouldn't have wanted to stay there. Make more upgrades and it would a place worth coming back to, thank you. Semper FI
- 4/5
The hotel is a little quirky - different fridges in each room, one of our rooms had a bathtub, the other just had a shower, the layout of the buildings is a little weird, etc. The ice machine wasn’t working and we didn’t have any cups in our room so I had to go get some. The man working was very nice and accommodating. There were also no “do not disturb” signs or magnets for the doors, so our room got cleaned the first day, which we usually forego. My husband had a cable plugged in and it got smushed against the side table, but it didn’t get broken. I had to leave very early on Sunday to get back and the lobby was locked, so I couldn’t just leave my room key. Just small annoyances. We did feel safe and it was clean and cheaper than an Airbnb. Probably wouldn’t stay again unless we absolutely have to.
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly but the room I stayed in had a nest for months and they were very active in the bathroom otherwise the stay was absolutely amazing.
- 3/5
Property needs some updating. Inadequate staffing.

Pool didnt work. No tub. Sink had no stopper. Chair was dirty. Pillows were old and flat. Half of light bulbs were burnt out. Facilities were not maintained. No hair dryer. Poor value.

Room was a good size and bed was comfortable. Appreciated having a back door with spot to sit and look at view. The pool was being cleaned and the noise from the pool filter was loud when trying to sleep.

The manager is so unfriendly and seems bothered by you and your questions! The ice machine has been broken for 2 months straight, may still be broken but not going back to check! Such a great location and piece of property but it seems like the owners have just let it go down the tubes! Out of all the Hotels around and the amenities they offer this place doesn't even have coffee! So sad! Cuz I had such great memories from this place from 10 years ago!

When I arrived, the person at the counter was actually asleep on the couch. i could not take a shower the first night because there was no water pressure. In fairness, the next day when I brought it up he switched me to a different room. So that was a positive. but the negative was, I told him in the morning, as I was leaving what the issue was.And when I returned in the afternoon, he still had not reviewed the water. The place is very run down lots of safety issues. Definitely, we'll make a different choice next time. i wasn't expecting anything luxurious, but at a minimum. My water should work. The bed should be clean and I shouldn't have to worry about cutting myself on the rail, leading up to my room. And it would have been nice to actually use the pool. But it was green and not usable.

We arrived at about 7pm. First time here. Pictures on Expedia are outdated. This place needs lots of maintenance and work. As I walk in nobody was at desk but we waited then I see a man walk out the women’s restroom and it was the man that works behind the counter. He got me checked in. We got in our room and the smell was musty the room was humid and felt dirty. Unfortunately I reserved for two nights and so we managed through. I checked in that we had three guests in our room. Yet only 2 towels to shower with. When I asked for a extra towel the cleaning lady told me there was no housekeeping. Washer was broke? Not sure how sanitary and clean the towels and sheets are. Each bed had 2 small pillows. Usually its 4 pillows on each bed but we managed. Under my pillow looked and felt like dirt. My bed squeaked with every little movement but was comfortable. The lamp on table was wobbly and falling apart. Our balcony had one dirty tore up chair so we could not even sit outside. The pool pump was so loud and broken that it made a horrible sound and can be heard in the room. Found a dirty black hand print on the bathroom wall. Everything just felt so dirty. A hair in the microwave and the numbers didn’t work on it. Breakfast options were cereal, a frozen jimmy dean sausage breakfast sandwich, honey buns, bagels, banana, yogurt and coffee, orange juice, milk. Property needed lots if TLC. Stairs were peeling and falling apart. No ice machine. Wont ever stay here again.

Overall will never stay again. The room was okay. But the ice machine not working. The pool was green the pool pump was loud as ever all night long. Sounded like someone was getting a phone calls all night long. The cleaning crew tryed to come into our room a 9:00 am even though our check out wasn’t until 11:00. The continental breakfast was the worst I’ve ever had. And the breakfast is what I look for in our stays. The ice machine was broken. Would have thought it was fixed after 9 months from previous review. Unfortunately the pictures in the add do not do this property justice. Will never stay here again.

Very nice and loved the shower
- 3/5
Room was clear but at mediocre design and bed was a little noisy. The killer was the pool pump located at the center of the complex, it constantly made a squeaking noise.
- 1/5
The staff didn’t seem like he wanted to be there. The whole time on the phone and was not helpful. Tv didn’t work. Beautiful view but that’s about it!

Not bad for one night stay. But the property needs help on the maintenance update also the so continental breakfast not good at all.

The hotel and room were clean but the property needs maintenance. The stairs need re painting, and pool is visibly green and filled with algae. Room had no hot water and unpleasant smell inside of it. Check in was very quick though and price was good

If you decide to stay here, which I would NOT recommend, best hope they don't give you room 101. After spending the first night there we noticed that the door wasn't locking upon leaving, very concerning. We brought this to the attention of the front office and after two visits to the front office were told that it would be fixed within the hour and that we would receive a call or text once the lock was fixed. We had somewhere we had to be so we couldn't wait around. Never received a call nor a text and came back, 10 hours later, to a door that wouldn't lock. When we went back to the front office to find out what was going on we were met with everything from 'that's not my job' to 'we've been busy'. Then the GM proceeded to lie to me and my wife saying that he never told us he would call or text. Just mind blowing. Since they couldn't fix the lock we had to pack up all of our belongings and take the time to move everything to a new room. In the new room. 112, the shower door doesn't stay closed and the ceiling fan makes a loud noise when it's on. So if you want a room with a shower and fan that work properly make sure they don't put you in room 112. Can't imagine the state of the other rooms. There was zero ownership from management regarding all the problems and obviously no compensation. I bet this use to be a nice place until the current ownership took over.
- 4/5
Temp control in room was perfect. Room was clean and quiet. Excellent place to stay. Next time I will ask for a ground floor room.
- 4/5
The one in the living room was not cold enough and the hot water in the shower did not get very hot the handle would not let you move it to get it warmer . Hope they will clean the swimming pool , it was close with dirty water.

For me personally it was an average night at a mediocre hotel, that we happened to get lucky with great scenery. The gentleman at the counter was really really nice though so that made it a lot easier to digest.

This place is INFESTED by bed bugs! Absolutely disgusting. I took photos and videos as evidence. It was absolutely terrible and the worst experience I have ever had in my entire life. I have never left such a poor review at any place ever in my life because I’ve never seen a real life bed bug. The amount of stress I’ve had to go through to clean all my luggage, my entire car, etc… the lodge should be paying all these bills. My sister got bit by a bug on the back… and the way the staff responded, it’s like they already knew that there are bed bugs at the establishment.

It was a decent area, however if they would let customers know that there is a time cut off to check in and a closing time for the lobby, it would be extremely helpful. No where on the website does it tell people you cannot check in after 11pm. It also does not have the hours for the complimentary breakfast anywhere. That information would be helpful to know.

Dirty. Breakfast was pitiful, no coffee left and no employee around to fill it. Honey buns set out we're expired. Employees sitting on the couch ignoring guests watching movies at full volume. Pool has been closed for weeks apparently no fix in sight, still advertised as working. Room and view was decent but the lack of F's given my staff was obvious. Shame.

There was no breakfast even though it was supposed to be ready at 7am. Also, very little water pressure for the show with lukewarm water. Finally, the ice machine was broke. This is a 1 star motel, at best. Will not ever recommend to anyone. When I went to speak at the front desk there was no one there. People were leaving the key cards to their rooms on top of the front door handle to the lobby.

People were leaving the key cards to their rooms on top of the front door handle to the lobby.

The lodge was not as pictured. Very run down. The room was clean but noone was on the property in the morning. Only thing for breakfast was huney buns and cold coffee. Cereal but no milk. Didn't stay the second night, checked out but received no refund. Have not been able to connect with a real person from hotels.com. Very disappointed in their customer service also. You may contact service.

The bathroom looked as though it had been partially painted. Shower seemed newly remodeled, but the paint wasn’t done around the finished shower. The tiles on the floor didn’t look like they had grout. The water took forever to get hot, I started to wonder if they just didn’t have hot water… Breakfast… let’s just say it felt like we were the only guests there. There was two bagels, a bowl of pancake mix in the fridge. Cereal, milk, OJ, and some honey buns. Coffee was hot, so there’s that. The whole place is just really run down and gives “trafficking” vibes. For the area of Austin, I expected better. We won’t be staying here again.

Was put in a room in the back, where we could not park completely by, was told multiple time about no smoking, in 5 secs. When leaving I didn’t even make it to the lobby and the person asked if we were checking out and asked for my card. The picture. look nice on the website and when we got into the room we were shocked of how much of a downgrade it was.

Very nice property they need to do better with the pool. It was by far not clean enough to swim in and green. Beds are comfortable and the staff is very friendly, but as I said they could do better with the pool cleaning. The pool needs to be maintained better that is an amenity that they list and it was not even ok to swim

N/A Our room was unacceptable, old and dilapidated furnishings and did not match the description provided by the facility. Additionally some lights were not working and so staying there was out of the question. We informed management who assured us that a complete refund would be provided- Staff at Check in was Mr. Sunny. We had to make alternate hotel arrangements. Please process a total refund as assured by Mr. Sunny. Thanks.

Sunny is so nice. The room feels more like being at a fancy resort love everything

Water took 10 minutes to get hot. Lobby was locked up the entire breakfast time. Clerk was laying on a couch in the lobby. Tons of bugs in the room. Linens were dirty and in some cases molded. Paint looked incomplete and run down in the bathroom

Close to needs It was not clean properly hair dryer was left plugged in and on the counter from previous guest. No Ice Machine available. No one at counter and was not on property in the middle of day Friday 11/28

We loved the view and the location, it was situated in a great part of Bee Cave near the gallaría. Breakfast wasn’t very good, the orange juice was super acidic and there wasn’t any hot or gluten free options.
- 1/5
The fire alarm started beeping with a low battery at 3AM. I got notification while I was there of an “air tag nearby” which was disturbing. The photos did not appropriately depict this establishment. I booked for two nights and left early in the morning after the first night. Would never go back and would never recommend to anyone else.

Stayed in Suite 100. Mostly clean; found a dead roach in the bathroom and a massive active wasp nest on our patio, but had no issues otherwise. Friendly and attentive staff, beautiful scenery, great rooms, and breakfast available. 4/5 stars, would definitely stay here again.

Safe, clean, good location for the weekend event we need to be, proprietor tried his best to accommodate our party of 3 rooms on a weekend when practically all hotels are fully booked. Have been using this property for the last several years, like the quietness and easy parking and safe location. This property has been updated with new flooring, shower, window blinds and bedding by new owner. Simply clean and safe.

I like the property. The views behind it were gorgeous. Checking in was easy. It’s in a good spot with shopping areas and restaurants nearby The beds were not comfortable. The tv was tiny and could hardly figure out how to work the remote and access the channels.

The accomodations are rustic, but clean and spacious. The small kitchenette was an added bonus. The setting is quiet and peaceful, while being just a couple minutes from upscale shopping, entertainment, and offices. The proprietor "Sonny" was friendly and accomodating. If our travels bring us to the Bee Cave/Dripping Springs area again, we would definitely stay here again.

Love this family run hotel. Amazing views from your balcony, which is featured in every room. Beautiful pool, very peaceful and tucked enough away from 620 that you forget you’re so close to the bee caves galleria and lakeway shopping. The sunsets are breathtaking. You have got to make sure you stay at this hidden gem next time you’re looking for somewhere to stay in the beautiful hill country!!
- 5/5
Only thing I was disappointed about was the breakfast. But other than that everything was great
- 3/5
Bathroom was dirty. pool was dirty. view needs to be cleaned up. Maintenance tools exposed in walkways maintenance doors open. Clubhouse door handle feel off. Onsite staff is friendly. Breakfast was cereal. Waffles. Fruit and yogurt. Some prepackaged breakfast microwave items. This location used to be beautiful.
- 5/5
For the price and location, was a great deal.
- 5/5
Nice and charming, really liked the room and the atmosphere, easy check in and check out. Owner was really nice guy, each room has a balcony, which was nice. Breakfast was good and waffles are super tasty. We enjoyed our stay, thank you
- 5/5
The location was perfect for our family visit and the rooms were nice; hotel has some great views. The breakfast was very basic (waffle maker, toaster, cereal dispensers), had to “heat your own” breakfast sandwiches, but they were good. Breakfast beverages were available. The staff was friendly, room rates were great and we had no issues! Would definitely stay again!
- 4/5
First I have to say that the hotel surroundings were beautiful. We came in on a stormy night and the view from our patio was stunning. It was quiet and comfortable and we rested well! The staff was helpful and pleasant. We had never been to Bee Cave before and found the location easy to access other towns as well as Bee Cave. We had a few problems with the condition of our room. The drain stoppers for the sink and tub were missing. Also, the dead-bolt on the door was missing - we had to rely on just the door knob lock. The paint on the back of the bathroom door was peeling and the toilet made a weird whine for a while after flushing. Other than that, we found the room comfortable and the lobby breakfast quick and convenient. The pool, view from our balcony, and hiking trail were all really nice. We enjoyed our stay!
- 5/5
The view was great and friendly staff
- 3/5
The are lights on both sides of the bed. One worked, one didn't Bedside clock didn't work and couldn't be reset. No drain cover in the bathroom sink. The price was low, but that is really the only reason I see to stay there.
- 5/5
It was such a peaceful stay! The room was so clean and so spacious. The clerk in the front room was helpful and kind! Will be staying again very soon!
- 2/5
Staff attitude was very poor, they did not care. They started drilling at 9pm at night, so noisy that we couldn't sit out on the balcony, i went and spoke with reception, they stopped making the noise but then started again at 10pm until after 11pm. They do not care about their guests comfort. Bag of rubbish was outside our room when we arrived and still there 2 days later when we left
- 3/5
When you look around the property you can see when it was built it was lovely, and there is a new coat of paint so everything looks cared for, but, the owners aren't making an effort. they offer a "continental breakfast" that is just bad coffee, cereal and pre-packaged snake cakes. When I went into breakfast there were no lights on and a couple of people were eating in the dark, no one was working the front desk, and the front door was locked I had to go around the building to the back door, which I guess was good since no one was working. All-in-all I felt safe the place was clean but I wouldn't plan on swimming in the pool, it would be such a very nice place if they made an effort, the view was wonderful. SO much potential just being left, they just don't care.
- 1/5
Gorgeous views on the balcony of the Texas Hill Country Brand new renovated bathrooms Ceiling fan in room Pretty cheap nightly rate Cons; a bunch This is a motel with a facelift but it’s still a motel Got stung by a yellow jacket on balcony Breakfast left much to be desired Dirty sheets that appeared to have not been changed since the last guest Dirty floors Gaps in the doors letting in the weather Construction sounds in the evening The “pool” was deep green, filled with debris, and liked like a place where water snakes live. The parking lot is tight and small
- 3/5
However, the property is in need of updates and thorough cleaning.
- 3/5
Room wood floor is sticky due to moisture inside in rainy days). They didn’t prepare for three persons so not enough towels even booked ahead. Shampoo and conditioner are limited. Old furnitures and hair dryer wasn’t there and has to request it.
- 5/5
Great views and service
- 4/5
Beautiful setting. Exterior of building looks recently redone. Our bathroom was only half painted. Personal employee items left sitting around in furniture making us feel as though we were intruding. They were very pleasant to work with but need to work on an ice machine and the small touches to make guests feel more welcome
- 5/5
Very quiet, enjoyed sitting on the patio.
- 4/5
Need to vary the breakfast items from day to day
- 2/5
I did not like the strings of long hair on the shower walls. The beds are extremely firm. The noise is ridiculous. Never again.
- 4/5
A seriously affordable hotel with nice clean rooms. Every room has a patio or balcony facing the pool, and we used it's everyday! We actually would have dinner out on the patio. Parking is super easy, very easy check in check out, a pretty decent breakfast although I felt like it started at different times every morning. They even have a Tesla charger! I would definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
The property is nothing like the images online. The breakfast was below average and very limited. The room was nice but the shower head leaked all night, the tv only had 3 channels that worked and the bathroom sink won’t drain. The ice machine was broken as well. The back door to pool area was nice and the front desk person was nice
- 4/5
The provided toiletries like shampoo, soap, etc were lacking. There was mismatched shampoo and conditioner and our room didn't have soap (thankfully I always travel with extra). I was grateful for the continental breakfast but they need to provide a few more options. Overall, I would stay here again. It was a good value for the cost.
- 1/5
Sheets on bed dirty , mold in shower , nothing for breakfast except honey buns
- 5/5
The staff were friendly and helpful. Super cute place to stay and in a great location! Easy to access. Beautiful views. Great price!! Would DEFINITELY stay here again!!
- 4/5
Staff is very good.

- 4/5
Nice place to stay when weather temps so low we are not comfortable at home.
- 5/5
Location and price
- 5/5
The room was very quiet, comfortable bed and a great night's sleep - I can't ask for anything more. Thank You!
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.
- 1/5
Where do I even start. The lobby was cluttered with junk and had nothing in place. The room had weathered furniture, flooring, appliances, and chairs that should’ve been well on their way out. Keep in mind, there was only one other car so our hotel room was most likely one of the better ones. The bathroom was halfway done in their renovation but just got left, with bugs everywhere diving in between cracks. The breakfast was something else, with old orange juice and not much to offer. The outdoor area and location was the only positive of this experience. With the pricing, use this as a last resort to stay.
- 3/5
We booked the hotel because it had high ratings. Although it was a decent hotel, I do not think it deserves the ratings.
- 5/5
The view and area was great and the room was so comfortable and exactly what we were hoping for
- 5/5
The suite looks and feels like an apartment with an amazing view of the rolling hills. You get a living room, real dining table and a cute little kitchen space. Bed and pillows were comfortable and the shower was super nice. Glad I found this place. Will definitely make it my Togo place when In Austin.
- 4/5
Could not find it at night. No sign or address showing.
- 5/5
Amazing service. Thanks
- 3/5
The door was hard to open and close. The door knobs on the bathroom were loose. The iron wouldn’t get hot for me to press my pants. The housekeeping staff was efficient. The front desk personnel was not available when I checked out.
- 3/5
It’s was the best for the price, remote was not very clean, the items are somewhat outdated and one room had the fridge taken so only one room had one, even then for what it was we went ahead and stayed, old places have old smells- so for the night was good
- 4/5
The hotel was convenient to where I was visiting. The Bed was comfy. The bathroom was updated and exquisite. The shower was hot. The view was awesome. The TV was challenging to operate.
- 5/5
Room is clean. Bed is firm and comfortable. The lodge is high enough to see a big view. The landscape is great to see.
- 5/5
Definitely recommend staying here peaceful and lots of parking!
- 3/5
The view was nice but the remote for the bedroom tv did not work neither did 4 others. There were 3 different kinds of bugs in our room, several of each and the hot water never got past barely warm
- 2/5
Property was conveniently located for our needs. Staff was friendly. Beds were comfortable. Overall condition of the property was a mess. Would not stay there again.
- 5/5
Close to restaurants and places to shop.
- 5/5
The most comfortable bed I have ever slept on.
- 5/5
Very nice for the price very worth it
- 3/5
tired
- 3/5
The staff were very nice. The rooms could use updating.
- 5/5
Note: if you’re a breakfast person you’ll want to eat at the nearby restaurants. There are plenty of places so not a big deal. I would stay here again. Best bed I’ve ever slept on.
- 5/5
Beautiful property, great rooms, and friendly staff
- 2/5
The front desk clerk was the sweetest person thoug=
- 3/5
Yeah NO! The OJ had a weird flavor, the muffins tasted old. The waffle mix was in the fridge and needed to be stirred to be used. Would probably pass on this one when in Austin.
- 4/5
They are working on improvements and it will be a great hotel soon. Need improvements in bkfst fair and coffee and coffee cup availability.
- 2/5
Property is under renovation but was not told this until I showed up and saw all the construction material and equipment in the lobby. After asking if I should move to a different property, the gentleman who was desperately trying to help me finally found a room that was ready for occupancy. Since I had already paid and had no confidence they would reimburse me, I opted to stay. Not sure what was going on or what the property is like when it is clean and efficiently run but it was so cluttered and dirty I couldn’t enjoy the amenities they advertise. Breakfast room too dirty with days old food, no water in pool, no outside furniture, uncomfortable bed, and TV didn’t work. Very disappointed traveler. They should have never accepted my reservation or, at a minimum, given me a discount.
- 3/5
It Was OK it was a little dated, but we did get a good nights sleep and the air conditioner was cold
- 4/5
The person on duty was friendly and helpful Check in was a breeze. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was convenient for me. All the basics and none of the frills.
- 4/5
This place is a little gem in the hills. Beautiful view, convenient, and in a nice safe area. Only down fall is how expensive it is! Was hoping to make this my “home” while I’m working at Baylor Lakeway down the road, but they charge far too much for a basic room. I would return for a night or two sometime though!
- 5/5
Friendly, accommodating, & clean, with spectacular views!
- 4/5
Old style stone building was a nice fit, expecially in the Hill Country
- 5/5
Nice but a bit more out-of-the-way than I thought; but there are restaurants etc. in close driving distance. Something of a “retreat.”
- 4/5
The hotel is near Galleria area. Close to Austin Tennis Academy. It is not bad, I would stay there again
- 4/5
Breakfast was disappointing, bathroom looks like it needs to be refinished, and what appeared to be a reclining love seat was obviously damaged with the gears exposed. Service was great and the beds were comfortable. The grounds were charming but could use some TLC as some of the plants appear to be dead. I loved the patio and that there is a walking trail accessible from there.
- 5/5
My suite is very nice, with a pretty view, a good breakfast
- 5/5
Great stay would come here again!
- 4/5
Older facility but it was clean and everyone was helpful.
- 5/5
It was very nice and it was what we were looking for
- 3/5
You can tell the property was once a much better place than it is now.
- 5/5
This is an older hotel, but kept up pretty good. There is an excellent view of the Austin hills. If you’re looking for the Hilton Experience, this is not for you, it’s a pretty-good hotel I’ll definitely stay at again. The breakfast had a waffle maker, Ned I say more.
- 5/5
Always nice and clean
- 5/5
I was pleasantly surprised at the wonderful view from my balcony. The room was spacious and very comfortable. I felt as if I were staying at a resort lodge. There were roses and bluebonnets outside. The friendliness of the staff was definitely above average.
- 1/5
This is a hotel that needs lots of work: door deadbolt didn’t work, no hair dryer, mold in bathroom, breakfast was not good too. We won’t be staying there ever again!
- 5/5
The room was clean and tidy. The sofa was comfy. The restaurants were close by and of high quality. I walked around the lodges because the view was so beautiful. The balcony view was breathtaking!
- 5/5
Front desk very nice
- 5/5
Cute lodge in the Texas hill country, friendly staff, very helpful and accommodating
- 5/5
Staff was friendly, room was clean, view was nice. Tough area to leave by foot so you may need a car to get around.
- 5/5
Awesome worker
- 4/5
- 4/5
Hot water was very slow. The beds were a bit soft. The smell of the cleaning solution used for the room was very strong. The hotel was nice, we enjoyed our stay. Water in the room would help with coffee. We would come back, but needs a few things to be 5 star.
- 5/5
I absolutely loved the view from my own private balcony. The staff was great and friendly, and the room was nice, big, and inviting. I'll definitely be back!
- 1/5
The best of all, when I was sleeping late at night someone from the staff just came into my room. NEVER EVER AGAIN
- 5/5
Beautiful views!
- 4/5
Comfortable bed and room. Nice pool
- 5/5
Great budget place for my little weekend getaway, very peaceful and the view was absolutely beautiful. There were a few repairs happening at the property but we went during an off season so it is expected. Breakfast was great too!
- 5/5
It was great, we really enjoy staying here. This particular time the air freshener, or cleaning chemicals were extremely strong. Other than that it was great.
- 5/5
Friendly staff with a great location. Great views and close to all the shopping and restaurants.
- 1/5
Seems like construction work going on, trash bags in front of room, room inside was also not clean, dust on chairs and table. Breakfast was horrible, frozen burger, not much options, waffle was terrible, orange juice doesnt seem to be fresh, few pieces of stale bread. This was a bad experience.
- 3/5
The place needs some updating and touch up details, plus some extermination treatment, we had a small roach running in our bathroom, which by the way needs some good cleaning and touch up painting. The place is kind of noisy because you can hear the neighbors in the parking lot which are mainly construction workers, since they take almost all the parking with their big trucks. It's good for one night.
- 5/5
Something that has been LOST in the U.S. for Decades and a Beware but HUGE ACCOLADES for Travelers. When I got into Mexico, during Layover in Mexico City, I went to a restaurant, ordered, payed but when I got to my hotel, the Debit Card from my Bank had been flagged. At the Hotel my payment was "Declined". I hadn't moved enough money to other Cards, and didn't have enough Cash or Pesos to pay the Bill. The young lady behind the Counter says into my Spanish Translator APP, "You want to just pay in the morning?" I did a DOUBLE TAKE, "WHAT????? You are asking me if I want to STAY TONIGHT AND PAY TOMORROW"!!!! Yep, I checked in to a Beautiful Room, spent an amazingly restful night after walking the Courtyard and enjoying a Cerveza.. I made sure the next morning to get funds released and gladly PAID the Bill!! The Hotel is a short walk to City Center, Taxi's always available. The Restaurant serves some of the Finest Coffees I've EVER had. This will be the place we will stay and we have people stay at when we come in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
- 4/5
Room was comfortable but king bed was very high off ground wife had difficulty getting in and out.
- 1/5
My experience may be one of the few but it was my first such abysmal experience and service. Waited for almost 1/2 hour for front desk to show up. And when the receptionist did show up she was so disjointed and disconnected. And after some trying times getting her to do her job I had to get another hotel. I tried to be as patient as possible having had customer service experience…it isn’t an easy job but this experience was at a different level altogether.
- 5/5
From check in to check out, Ms Alexa was helpful and very professional.
- 5/5
The hotel is next to a river. You can walk next to the river. The room has a garden view.
