    Location The Elevator wasn't working and they put Us on the Fourth Floor. Our commode wasn't flushing properly and had mat maintenance was called twice and he said that we weren't supposed to flush toilet paper and that what was causing the problem

    There were no bugs, I’ll give kudos for that. WiFi was smooth. The stains on the pillowcases, wrinkled sheets, and the presence of multiple strands of hair between the sheets, along with the sticky rug, all speak volumes about the lack of cleanliness in this establishment. The front-desk staff claimed that it’s just the front-desk employee responsible for everything. However, it’s evident that they need to hire someone to clean and change the sheets regularly. People are not stupid; we can easily tell when the previous sheets haven’t been cleaned. Oh, the elevator hasn’t worked for 6 weeks. Also, this establishment is located right off a busy construction - highway.

    It was good for the price. The beds were incredibly small, double bed felt like a twin bed. The walls had obvious stains and damage was done to the door. But they had shampoo/conditioner/soap, towels, mini fridge… so it had all you needed.

    Check in service area, hotel room, and the parking lot. Were all clean & maintained well during my stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. The snack room was organized. Location was quiet, safe, and almost concealed behind a bar they have in front. 👍 The only issue with my stay was the elevator being renovated. I was running up and down the stairs. which is not a problem but I’m a drunk night out. I would’ve wished that elevator was working.

We didn’t get notification until the day before check-in which was much too late to cancel without losing our money. Ground floor rooms were taken by the time we arrived. The type of room we had reserved was on the third floor which we weren’t up to dealing with after a 9 hour drive. Plus my husband had medical supplies to bring up in addition to luggage. We were put in a comparable room on the 2nd floor. The room was fine other than a roach that came out to say hello. Again, the staff was very kind and were not blaming them at all. It is what it is.

    Property is under renovation. For the weekend we stayed, the elevator was out of service. Not a big issue for the second floor, but if you were hauling your luggage four flights, you may want to stay somewhere else. Breakfast was hot, eggs sausage waffles and continental. Facility was clean in the inside but needed attended on the outside with used liquor and beer bottles in the parking lot. Property is dog friendly but waste stations were out of bags, and dog owners took that as an opportunity to not pick up after their pets. Multiple ant mounds made walking in the grass unenjoyable. Room was adequate (TV desk and chair, chair and bed.). although constant damp feeling. Bathroom exhaust fan was not strong enough for a shower and ac unit was not adequate to remove moisture. Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom was noticeable.

I just recently had knee surgery and when we asked about maybe moving to the ground level we were told that he couldn't do that because of the third party booking and that it was ONLY 2 flights of stairs.     The lock on the room did not secure properly. It made me worried at times throughout the stay. Someone near to our room on the floor was also smoking eeed multiple times during our stay. It was frustrating since we had kids with us and had to pass the room each time we came and went. The doors on the bathroom are also severely damaged and the hinges are about to fall off—with the recent renovation and attempt to update/beautify the hotel, there were a number of items that were run down that should be better maintained.

    I stayed 12/23/25. When I walked into my room there was a cockroach in the bathroom. There was also hair in the shower. The front desk gave me a new room on the other side of the building but I found a bug in there too. The building overall was rundown. Additionally, the elevator was not working.

    It was decent for a one night stay. I had eggs, biscuits and gravy for breakfast. The room was clean but the elevator did break when I was there, even once, when I was trying to go up, which lowered the star. Luckily leaving I was only on the 2nd floor. I did like the room had a microwave and fridge. If I stayed longer, that would have been helpful.

    Terrible stay… the pictures online do not look ANYTHING like it does in person. As soon as I pulled up, there were men outside hanging near their trucks and it made me uncomfortable and very sketched out. Then, as soon as I get in the room.. there was mold in the bathroom and it smelled horrible. Then also the door had ZERO seal. My room door could be seen through. The light from the hallways seeped in and kept me up not to mention the noise!!! It sounded like people were standing inside my room it was so loud! Horrible. Do not stay here. I’m hoping Expedia can get me a refund I’m so unhappy. They did give me a small credit to a new room for tonight somewhere else.

    The room needed the sheets replaced along with the bed protector due to stains. The last night I couldnt sleep due to my body itching all over since the sheets had too much detergent on them. It would have been nice if they used paraben and dye free shampoos and conditioners like Hampton Inn does. The staff was friendly, the elevator kept breaking down and since my mother is handicapped, it was stressful waiting on the bottom floor at the lobby until the elevator. We were greated nicely and were given recommendations for restaurants/food which was nice. Our door to the bathroom kept swelling so it wouldnt fully shut. It would have been nice to not have such a loud fan in the bathroom, there was no small light near the door so we could leave it on while we slept so we could see if we woke up at night. A lot fo hotels have a small light near the bathroom door but la quinta I guess doesnt. The freezer door kept breaking off as well so I had to just leave it off.

Not sure why I was able to check in online but had to recheck in at the desk - better communication between the app and actual location may be of better use. Not on a Friday when checkin in, and room paid days before. The elevator is being out of order for some days. The was fine but instead of an AC it was an air blower. Put it at 60, and it was on all night but no cold air. Did not tell anything to staff as there was no other room available as I was infired when check in.

    Apparently the elevator has been unavailable since January. However, they don’t tell you that until it’s the day you check in and it’s too late to cancel your reservation and find a more appropriate hotel. The desk clerk was very kind and helpful and carried our luggage upstairs. Unfortunately, the room we got was dirty. There was damage to the walls. The carpet was filthy, and the air conditioner was barely functioning and moldy. We will not return to this property ever.

    Recently stayed four nights at this location. I want to highlight that the hotel staff were all friendly, easily approached and were helpful with any needs. Parking was convenient and I was able to consistently find parking outside of the nearest entrance to my room. Continental breakfast is served each morning but, oddly, no meat was served on weekend days during our stay but was on week days. An outdoor pool is on site to take a dip and refresh in those hot Austin days. I have never previously stayed at La Quinta so I did not know their housekeeping policy until checking in. Basically, housekeeping will not tend to your rooms for the first three days unless it is specifically requested the day before. Overall, the stay was fine. My only complaint, and the reason I gave a lower cleanliness rating, is we found a lid to an ice bucket and a chip under the bed. We also found two 50ml liquor bottles stuffed in the corner of the room next to the nightstand.

    I'm not sure if it was the 2 roaches crawling on our toothbrushes, the booger stuck on the wall by the toilet, the stained bed sheets or the moaning couple hitting our wall all night. I travel with an immunocompromised minor, and cleanliness is paramount. They did not provide an accessible room even when advised at checkout and reservation time that there'd be a wheelchair during the stay.

    The place is nice for the price tag, but the breakfast was lacking. There was no coffee and the juice/water dispenser was not working. Breakfast was meh.

    Overall, our stay was good. I like how the staff took extra precautions and asked for photo ID and the credit card used to verify everyone that checked in online. I liked the breakfast. Also, the room walls needed spot cleaning, the cast from your phone feature on the T.V. didn't work, and there was chipped paint and damage on the door of the bathroom. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall, it was good.

    If you're looking for a no-frills, convenient stay in Round Rock, this hotel is a great option. The staff was friendly, complimentary breakfast was timed perfectly for the weekend (8-10), and my favorite amenity was the free hot water, coffee, hot chocolate & tea in the lobby (and free water in the gym). Also, the gym had a good variety of workout machines and equipment, and the pool area was clean and relaxing though I didn't go in the water. The mini-fridge and microwave in the room ended up being super useful too. The convenient location had a HEB nearby & was very close to the 35 freeway. It took us about 30 minutes to the heart of Austin where we usually hung out. We'd definitely come back!

    At breakfast, 2 waffle irons but no butter and "out" of syrup. Loud vacuuming in the room while we were having breakfast. Key cards deactivated at 9 a.m. (while we were at breakfast) even though checkout was at 11 a.m. The only elevator was blocked on the floor above. Room was renovated and clean, but I wouldn't stay there again.

    Hotel was not accurately depicted in photos. Is old and in need of renovation. Our door had a 2”gap under it and we heard everything outside our room all night as well as had light shining in from it. Our room was right next to the housekeeping area and when all of housekeeping arrived early in the morning they were all talking very loudly congregating outside our room and woke us up.

    Thank you Chris for the Awesome service. Easy checkin and check out service. We gave it a 5 star but were disappointed with the lady that relieved Chris later that day. We called her about an issues with the ac and didn't care to help us. I think Chris needs to train people on customer service. He was the BEST! THANK YOU AGAIN CHRIS!

    We changed rooms twice. The first room had 2 areas of cut up carpet so I let the desk clerk know and he moved us. The next room had very dirty walls and vents. The towels had stains on them. The sheets appeared to be clean and the beds were comfortable so due to the lack of 2 bed availability in the area we stayed but will not recommend this facility. Also, the elevator was questionable and needed repair around the wall.

    Overall good experience. The breakfast bar had variety of items including sausage patties, fresh biscuits and gravy. The TV channel options were minimal (at best). The hotel seemed to be recently renovated. The entire hotel was very clean.
