    Priced low for a reason. The entire property smelled like mold, and even our rented rooms had a strong mildew odor. The smell was persistent and made our stay uncomfortable. We checked out 2 hrs later and went to another hotel. Would not recommend!

    The first room we were given smelled like mold and mildew and the AC unit was covered in mold. Our second room had mold on the windows and in the bathroom shower. If you have a sensitivity to allergens I would not recommend staying at this property. The hallways smelled like cigarettes and mildew. The property is not as well maintained as it was the first time we visited a few years ago, so our expectations were not met. The front desk agents were helpful but not professional.

    The bathroom was nice and the water-pressure was strong. Customer service started out nice, until I had an injury in my room. Then the front desk seems to be bothered by my request for someone to fix the bed frame ( metal piece sticking out from underneath the side of the bed!! When I tried to get into the bed after my refreshing shower wham!! My right ankle hit the metal piece pertuding out and I fell onto the bed. Rolling in pain, my ankle instantly started to swell. I called the front desk immediately and informed the receptionist of the incident and they asked if we wanted to be moved to another room. I declined because it was after 10pm and we had already unpacked and now my ankle was throbbing in pain and swollen like a golf ball. I requested that someone simply come to fix the metal sticking out from the frame of the bed (hidden by the bed skirt). The receptionist said that no one was available to fix the bed frame until the morning.... making for a long night.

    Nothing at all. It smelled bad in the hallways like pee. Beds were lumpy. Tv channels weren’t even working. They had the Netflix app on the Tv and I would click on it and the screen would just turn all black and take me back to the main screen after a few seconds. The shower faucet kept leaking water and making a loud noise with it. The hairdryer was very gunky.

    The location! It is so close to a nice places to eat, to shop and to take a walk. Even it is close to the highway, we were not able to hear any noises. The stay was nice and pleasant. I would come back here again.

    The woman that gave us customer service was adamant about having to put in a debit card for a deposit when we had already gotten confirmation through our Affirm account. Well we are now are having to stop all kinds of transactions in our Bank account because they hacked my debit card. So upset with that hotel staff

    This is a great location! You can walk to the Whole Foods Market if you need any sundries. If you are ok to continue walking, you can do some shopping or eating at the businesses in The Domain. The staff is very nice, rooms were nice and clean and the daily breakfast was delicious. N/A

    The white woman at the front desk was lazy. I asked an extra blanket around 7 pm, and she said no more blanket without even taking a look. And her face said that I was not welcome: she is the worst hotel receptionist I have ever met. The breakfast was just okay.

We had issues w/our doorlock, our room card could not be near any phones otherwise it would deactivate. We found this out the hard way when shortly after checking in we tried to get into our room. Sure enough, our room key wouldn’t work because it was next to my phone in my pocket. We then went to the front lobby desk and were informed of this. We’ve been to many hotels over the years, this is the first time we’ve heard of this issue.

    I went to check in and I had prepaid I had the credit card I used to pay for my room I lost my ID but I had a picture of it and I was turned away . So I went to a different hotel and they were able to check me on with my credit card and they were picture of my ID . I drove all the way from Houston and I wasn’t going to have a place to stay.

    The hotel mostly filled its role as a low cost option for us when we were seeing a show at The Domain. The room was nice enough and I slept well in the bed. They missed the mark by a mile with breakfast but I’m going to assume that trainwreck was somehow situation-specific and give 4 stars. I don’t believe I’d stay again though.

    This was my 2nd stay at this location. The team is always efficient and fun! I love that you can buy some snacks and sodas when you need them. The pool was clean and had umbrellas for shade. I was there for work, with early mornings- it's always an easy to stay and quiet at night.

    We always enjoy staying at this hotel whenever we visit Austin. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the breakfast is very good, and the location near The Domain is excellent. The staff is friendly, parking is easy, and we really appreciate how pet-friendly the property is, with outdoor areas and dog stations available. Honestly, we had a very good experience overall and encountered no major issues during our stay. Everything was convenient, comfortable, and easy for both our dogs and us.

    The first room we were assigned was visibly filthy. The second room wasnt truly an upgraded but we managed. The grounds area was not upkept especially being located downtown. They constantly ran out of towels and housekeeping were very unprofessional and rude when asked for extras. The elevators were down the entire weekend. There were creepy crawlers indicating the cleanliness of the building.

    Doesn’t look like much from the outside but once you go inside it looks amazing! We’ve never been to a la Quinta before that looked so pretty. With a 5 min walk from the domain and for the price it was amazing. The rooms were very cozy and spacious, the breakfast was amazing too. We didn’t wanna leave with how amazing it was. Will definitely be coming back next time we’re in Austin. Everywhere you go around the property says it’s “out of service” even though it’s not. Posted on every door to go inside and the elevators but they work just fine. Not too sure why they had those posted everywhere.

    The breakfast menu was good and makes for a great start to the day. The property was a bit untidy in a few areas, but the staff worked hard to clean up any mess. The elevator had some problems so had to be closed off. However, the repair company appeared early Monday morning to repair. Beware, there can be noisy guests but fortunately the noise never lasted more than 30 minutes. The parking lot was safe but crowed on the weekend.

    Everything was fine, however the staff was not the best. The lady who checked us in was the best. Welcoming, funny and helpful when asked questions. I had to ask for more coffee from a night attendant and she just seemed annoyed that I was there waiting in line to ask for something. No, smile, not welcoming and not nice. The lady who checked me out didn’t bother to smile as she was corresponding with me. Not as bad as the previous one but nothing welcoming about her either. I had to say thank you and have a nice day first before she even thought to say anything like that.

    Hello, what did Dorthy ( Judy Garland ) say in the Wizard of OZ ? There is no place like home.This will always be true but there are place like this La Quinta that come pretty close. Check in was easy, efficient and polite. My room was clean, AC worked great ,bed was good, pillows were ok but there were three pillows. Pick one and make it work, I did. My bathroom was clean, shower was great.My included breakfast was Great !! Waffles, Bacon, Eggs, Milk, Juices, Bagles , Hot Coffee, Etc. It was all there. And the Domain area , mear the hotel, was a three minute walk and it well worth the trip.

    The room was okay. The tub had spots that looked like it was peeling. The tub faucet was very hard to turn and shut off. The bathroom floor was not very clean with pieces of debris and hair. The heater in the room was very loud and the plastic piece on the top was zip tied on. Staff was friendly upon check in and check out.

    The overall hotel experience wasn’t any better. We had to go to the front desk at least ten times because our keys kept deactivating (even being careful not to put it near electronics). The exterior door near our room didn’t work, and the Wi-Fi was so bad that using cell service was faster. Breakfast was a joke — one bite of the eggs made us sick. The toaster only worked if you physically held it down, and the ceiling in the breakfast area was dripping water. The TV and tech situation was just as infuriating. The TV reset itself multiple times a day, forcing us to log back into Netflix every time. It constantly lost network connection and needed to be unplugged and plugged back in to work. Worst of all, whoever designed the room tied the TV power to the entrance light switch, so you literally cannot watch TV with the lights off. Combine that with room keys that only worked half the time, and it felt like nothing in this hotel functioned the way it should.

    Staff. The front desk lady was not helpful at all. My reservation was for a room for 5 people and she assigned a room for only 4 people. When I asked her on what to do to fix THEIR ERROR she simply said that there was nothing to do besides getting an extra room for the fifth person at full price because the hotel didn't provide any pullout sofas or nothing to accommodate the fifth person. She was arrogant, not understanding and not helpful at all. I ended up canceling the reservation at the middle of the night with my family in the car.

    I checked in on Wednesday for 4 nights. My room was not serviced once my entire stay. I had to reuse towels, my garbage was overflowing. I was put in room 102 which is a few feet from the main lobby and front desk. I had to sleep with the tv and fan on due to all the constant noise. There was a problem with the lock on my door and I had to alternate swiping my room keys multiple times to get the door lock to turn green and open. My last evening I needed help from the front desk girl to get in my room at midnight. My stay was less than pleasant to say the least!!

    Stadf was great. The refrigerqtor wqsn't working but the maintenance man on duty promptly fixed it. The ice machines were not conveniently located. There was only coffee during the breakfast hours. That is one of the reasons i like KaQuinta so much & the treadmills in fitness room zere broken. There was 1 5# weight then jumped to 15# weights. The room was clean but missing some toiletrie items I had forgotten also. Dissqppointed in that. It served my purpose & I had a great nights sleep in their comfy bed.

    This hotel is close to the Domain but otherwise not a great choice. It’s in desperate need of update. The common areas are not bad. In our room, the bathroom door wouldn’t close and the bathtub was so clogged that it wouldn’t drain while the shower was running. Nothing like standing in rising water while you shower. Yuck!!

    Overall unpleasant experience. Hotel as a whole was dirty and our room felt dirty as well. Dirty floor, table, curtains, restroom.     The room was clean. The problem I had with the hotel. I was given a room that had a broke door. I had to push the door open really hard just to get in the room. I feel if I had to pay full price I should have been given a better room. That room 208 should be discounted. The hotel should also tell you that the door is broken and give you the option to keep the room at a discount price. Other than that the stay was good.

    The facility smelled musty as soon as I walked in the front door. The carpet in the first room they gave me was saturated with water in front of the AC unit. Not damp...soaking. The staff was prompt and courteous to change my room. I was moved next door. The new room seemed in good condition, but I woke up with a sore throat the next morning which subsided several hours after I checked out. I would not stay there again as I have the impression there are water damage issues which are not healthy, especially for sensitive guests.

    The room was clean and organized but there were things that always didn't work like no extra blankets and and the key card kept getting deactivated and everytime we try to unlock the door it wouldn't work and we would have to go to the receptionist to get it reactived everytime.

    I was in Austin to say goodbye to my Mom and we stayed here for 5 days. The rooms were nice and clean. The pillows were flat like a pancake but the bed had 3 pillows and was very comfortable. I would recommend staying here. Easy access to many places.

    Unfortunately, this time it rained which itself wasn't bad but when we parked for the night, I noticed small ants all over the parking lot. I usually haven't noticed ants anywhere but while getting out of the car, there were so many - it was hard not to notice. I tried one spot but the amount of small ants made me uncomfortable so I moved to a different spot which had the same issue. Figured it was because of the rain and just left it there assuming I was just being paranoid. Big mistake. The next morning, I went out to my car to drive to a park for a run at 7am and once I was on Mopac, I realized ants and little spiders had made their way into my car. That was this morning. Despite my best efforts - spraying the car down, wiping down the inside, etc - I know I will have to take my car through a car wash and use something stronger to get rid of them. Cars next to me seemed to have ants too but I was too busy to move the car away to see how bad it was.

    We were very disappointed by the cleanliness of our room and the rest of the property. Unfortunately we didn't notice right away. Someone else's' hair in the shower and bathroom.late last night we saw a roach in the elevator and this morning a roach in our guest room!!! We left immediately. A few years ago this was a decent property for the price but the halls smell like urine, our door didn't close properly and overall I would encourage others to avoid at all costs. Disappointed.

    The handicapped accessible bath wasn't accessible. There were bars, but a handicapped person can't balance on one leg to was his/her feet. There was a flimsy plastic seat, but it didn't fit in the tub. Also the bottom of the tub was slippery.

    This was the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in my entire life. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels. Firstly we had to move rooms because there were 2 roaches in the bathroom. We had to go to the front desk at least 5 times because our card stopped working. Our last day there were spiders all over my rental from the yard and grass in the area. The front entrance smelt like pee. I would rate it 0 stars if a could.

    The Wi-Fi is terrible. No password, no login, no security. My laptop security software refused to connect because the site has a bad security certificate. Two of my most used phone apps refused to connect because it determined the wifi network was unsafe. I wasn't able to get any work done and had to Uber to a Cafe

    Close to the rest of The Domain, didn't need to rely on car to get around the area. However, there's no sidewalk from the property so you do need to awkward cross 4+ lanes of traffic. Had trouble with the keycard access to the room a couple times. The air conditioning in my unit was LOUD.

    Unfortunately, the customer service was equally poor. Of the four front desk staff I interacted with, three were noticeably unhelpful and seemed irritated by even the simplest requests. In one instance, when my brother and I asked about getting towels after waiting an extended amount of time, a front desk staff member responded with, “Y’all about to piss me off”—which was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I suppose this is the level of service you can expect from a budget hotel these days.

    When we checked in the front desk lady was great. But the room had mold in the shower the floors felt dirty, the AC wasn’t very cold, the hallways were littered with bags of trash that guests just left outside their doors and it would sit there for an entire day until the next afternoon. The parking lot was covered in smokers and cigarette butts. The breakfast area was always empty in the food containers and the tables were filthy, it wasn’t maintained very well like it should have been. The door locks were flimsy at best, I used a chair to secure my door from the inside. People up and down the halls all night long. Best thing about the hotel was the lady that check us in, she was amazing, the rest was less that par for a LaQuinta.

    Our stay was not as pleasant as I would have liked. The room smelled like mold and mildew- and the shower curtain in the bathroom had mildew on the bottom of it. The air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool. The hotel is in a great area near The Domain which is why I chose it and the front desk staff were pleasant.

    The property was okay, I expected better for the location. We booked our room in advance, the room was not set up for the amount of travelers we had. If you plan on napping or have small children who nap, do not choose a room near the pool (screaming kids). The breakfast was the exact same both mornings (not great). The area where the food was located got overly crowded.
