We enjoy staying here. The location is great as well as the staff and amenities.

Staff were amazing, they even lent us towels after checkout, so that we could go to the Springs. The hotel is otherwise a standard Hyatt property. There was temporary AC in the Lobby, but they are in the process of fixing that.

The pool is tiny. Rooms were nice and spacious. AC was out on the first floor. They brought in a portable AC but it wasn’t much cooler than outside so the lovey and breakfast area were very stuffy. Staff was nice, front desk was constantly on the phone helping people every time we came up. They could definitely use a separate person to handle the phones. It is downtown, but a bit off the beaten path. I wouldn’t walk far at night. Valet parking is as great. Bed and pillows were a bit firm and housekeeping barged in to my kids room at 9am without knocking then abruptly left. I would stay here again, but there was room for improvement.

Spacious room with a comfortable bed and cold ac (with no limit on how low you can set it!) great view but very dirty windows. shower was not tiled well (not sloped) so the water didn’t flow to the drain, so we were standing in an inch of water each shower. expensive parking (i’ve never stayed in downtown, it may very well be average pricing). pricy concessions at the front desk

The room was a good size with kitchen. Water pressure was terrible. Went down to search for Kleenex and tp and staff said they’d send it up. Never came even after calling. 2 hrs later we found a maid in the hall. Location was just ok and staff not very friendly.

Room was very well clean , staff were friendly. The only thing is the parking was on the street or pay for valet which I have no problem with but it is $45 a night. It would be nice to just pay for parking in a garage but the stay was very nice.

This property looks great on paper. We couldn't use the green pool, the entire downstairs for gym, breakfast, business center though they had rescue air installed, was very hot. The usual breakfast was fine and gym equipment good and staff very nice and helpful. When leaving they did not give me the expedia credit and had to go back and charge it back in refund to me. Could be much better and we missed out on pool and just felt it wasnt up to expectations.

The staff was wonderful there can’t say enough about them! The rooms were clean and the breakfast was your typical free breakfast fruit eggs, pancakes, cereal, etc. Carpet and flooring could use a little update and area has a homeless shelter a block or two away but no one bothered us for anything. Would stay again!

They were having issues with the A/C units in the lobby, but had portable units set up to try and keep it comfortable. The room was very nice and the view of the city was nice.

The best location. Two blocks from the action. You can easily avoid the activity or watch from a distance. The breakfast was spot on! I try to get that location whenever I visit. I didnt like that I had to leave and return back to reality.

The hotel itself was beautiful, quiet, and conveniently located near restaurants and local nightlife on 6th Street . My family and I appreciated the excellent customer service throughout our visit. The room was very clean and fully stocked with the necessities. The breakfast was ok.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The AC appeared to be out in the lobby and they had a make-shift unit (so that was okay). The worst part is that on the same street as the hotel are a couple of bars that had live music that played late at night and it was hard to sleep with the noise level. Other than that, it was a good stay.

The hotel lobby and bar do not have any a.c. They put portable AC’s to help with the heat but you can still feel the heat in some parts of the lobby where the ac doesn’t reach. Good hotel for the price. However, I will likely stay somewhere else the next time I’m in Austin. I did not feel safe at times walking outside.

When I arrived, I was notified but the front desk clerk that Expedia overbooked and he had to find me a room. I paid for two beds for four nights and wanted to move us to a room with one king and a pull out. I refused because I specifically picked two beds. Also, they were going to move us in another room and we would had to check out of the room and check back in after 4pm. But the front desk clerk helped and got us the room with two beds.

The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was a full breakfast with many options. The AC was broken in the lobby so it was stuffy and humid. They did their best with large portable units but it was not comfortable. The rooms were cool and comfortable. Valet parking is the only option. Staff was nice. Overall, a very nice start

There were a few things that seemed off, so I gave it a 4 Star instead of 5. They had issues with Central AC, which they were trying to address as best as possible. There was an area that was very dirty in the hallway, that needed addressing, but otherwise clean! Great area for the price!!

Great location if you’re visiting the university. Be aware of loud music playing at night hard to sleep. Nice breakfast every morning was nice.

Beautiful hotel with very clean, spacious rooms featuring a kitchen, couch, mini office, and a gorgeous view of downtown Austin. The area felt safe for the most part, although a few blocks away seemed a bit sketchy. Still, we walked everywhere since the hotel is close to many attractions. We used the valet parking, which was convenient but expensive at $45 per night, and didn’t need the car afterward. The complimentary breakfast was great, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Overall experience was pretty good. No complaints. recommended. slight overpriced.

The cleaning staff is terrible. They spend 5 mins cleaning the room, no vacuum, no change of sheets. There is tons of free parking nearby, and the valet parking is a rip-off.

Walkable distance to 6th street. Very nice room with plenty of space. Breakfast was good. Great shower! Parking lot was either $40 valet or street parking. Luckily the street parking was free by the time I visited (memorial day).

I arrived late and found the AC wasn’t working in common areas, they had emergency ACs set up, which wasn’t a big deal. I got in late and found lipstick marks on my sheets and figured it would be addressed after they cleaned the room the next day. Well I got back late found the sheets “Changed” but removed the top sheet to still find them dirty, I called the front desk and started to tell them and they basically said “well you didn’t report it when you got here” I said “yes it was late and figured when they cleaned the room it would be address, also tk not the tv isn’t working” the person proceeded to say what would you like me to do send someone to look at it? I said yes, he promptly hung up on me and no one ever showed up…. And their Valet service was just as awesome. I had parked in a spot about 50ft away and was walking in after I found out their only parking was valet service. I’m walking in with my hands full and said is it ok if you guys can grab it from right there (50ft away, if that). He said no you have to move it here, I said really? He said yes… I put my stuff back in the car, moved it 30ft and as I did so he disappeared (not getting a car) there was no one there, leaving me standing there waiting for another employee. Needless to say, ill never book here again and will not recommmend

Outstanding staff in all roles and at all levels. The rest was typical Hyatt House. We had a 1 One-Bedroom Specialty King Suite with Kitchen which worked perfectly for a six night stay. Breakfast was very good and the room was light and airy and constantly kept clean and free from debris. Location was very good too particularly for access to the University of Texas, Bullock museum and art galleries. Nothing I didn't like but the range of breakfast goods could have been broader and have more daily variation. The bar menu in the evening could have been a little more adventurous too.

The a/c's in the lobby werent working but they did have portable units in place. The room was clean but obviously older and needed updating. The breakfast was mediocre at best.

They didn’t change the sheets unless you ask which was fine by me. The location was great we could walk to everything. The staff was great always willing to help. Overall a good stay.

Breakfast could have been better. Eggs were soggy, sausage was over cooked and dry, potatoes seemed to be over cooked and sitting for a while.

I wish the bar would stay open a little later than 10:00pm Just know that Valet Parking is the only option at the hotel. There is some public paid parking near by. We chose the Valet (staff was very helpful), because we were a little intimated to drive around a city we are unfamiliar with.

I liked this hotel for its location, friendly staff, and pretty good breakfast. My room, however, had sheets stained in what I hope is wine and our microwave and coffee machine did not work. I talked to the staff and they helped replaced the sheets!

What a wonderful place to stay! The location, facilities and rooms were great. The entire staff, from front desk to valets and bartenders, were extremely helpful and pleasant. The location right downtown near the State Capitol is perfect, with plenty of reasonable parking options, restaurants, and entertainment venues. We were in town for the Sting 3.0 concert at the Moody outdoor ampitheater. Just wonderful.

University of Texas, LBJ Museum and Library and Franklin BBQ. If you have a car know that there is no hotel lot to park your car. You have the choice of Valet parking which is $50.00/day or metered street parking. You can download an App to pay for the latter. Staff was very helpful and the hotel has a very good complimentary breakfast.

Solid, no-frills stay in the center of downtown Austin. The staff and breakfast were great but the sheets were a bit scratchy and lumpy. Valet parking was the only option and $45/day feels pretty steep compared to other, nicer hotels in the area. Otherwise a good spot.

The room and the hotel were very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The only drawback was the check in clerk Damien seemed to be in a hurry and didn't apprise us of some useful info. Also, the coffee was bitter.

Air was out on the first floor. The place was nice. Breakfast was ok, it was mostly the inconsiderate guests that overserved themselves leaving little for everyone else.

The check in said 3 I got there 3:20 and room was ready until 4 they told us that is 4 so watch out. the bed was not changed and has blood spots so I don’t know what it was No Parking anywhere with them is 49dlls which we end up putting our car at Holiday Inn 🙄 and for anything you complain they don’t do anything for you very disappointed 😔

The was a good hotel for the price and location. Seems to be centrally located for all the events we attended in and around Austin.

This is the only hotel I will recommend! It is the only one we stay whenever we visit Austin. It is absolute perfection!! Great location for everything, great breakfast and awesome staff!!

The rooms were clean. The staff were excellent. They were friendly and enthusiastic. The breakfast was outstanding. The workout room was impressive, but the treadmills could stand to be oiled. Also the carpeting in the rooms are worn. Other than that, it was a great experience.

I love this place. It's the only place we stay at in Austin. I was a bit discouraged on our last visit. The AC did not work well. Then it was "fixed" but still changed itself to warm temperatures in the middle of the night. It was a bit frustrating. Still like this place though.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, and staff were helpful and friendly. I didn't know before booking that there's a live music venue next door, and the sound carried up to my room on the 9th floor until around 2 am. It's Austin, so that's to be expected, but if you want a quiet stay, be aware.

Housekeeping was unreliable.

I have a CPAP machine and the electrical outlets on the lamp stand were not functional. I had to put CPAP on other side of bed on the floor and cord was a bit short, certainly not ideal for me.

Everything was really great! The staff was pleasant, and thanks to Hanes’s upgrades, we stayed in a suite instead of a standard room. As always, Hyatt had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfasts were tasty too 😊

Our stay here was amazing! It was recommended to stay here and now this will be my recommendation for anyone! Such friendly and welcoming staff. The bartender was quick and amazing! The 1st Hotel in our whole trip from SF to Austin that served proper breakfast. Americans tend not to serve breakfast anymore but that was fortunately not the case here. Excelent job for the guys in the kichen and breakfast. They seem to put all their energy in it! An extra point to the beautiful lady that kept an eye on customers during breakfast! Very clean Hotel also - congrats to the cleaning ladies, with large (realy large) rooms for an outstanding price! So friendly staff there, and the guys in the reception, OMG they were great! Felt like home! - Well, as other guests also say, the live stage "Mohawk - Austin" is very close to the hotel and it get's very noisy from time to time. But it's the world's live music capital, get your earplugs! Ok, that needs some improvement for sure! - A small bottle of water could be provided guys, a small treat from the venue, it's always appreciated!

I always stay at this hotel because its on thr same block as Mohawks music venue. Short walk to concerts. The hotel is clean and the staff is always friendly. Decent price for valet and good breakfast.

The room was dusty and did not feel super clean. Also, the hotel is so noisy. We could hear anytime someone around us flushed the toilet. Overall it was not a good stay and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Of all the Home2 suites I have stayed, this is bad. The place is old and they were charging $4.50 cents for a small water bottle, which was supposed to be given as a complimentary. Breakfast was good and lot of varieties. Except the room and hospitality, everything else was good.

Onsite parking is a major rip off. I discovered better options after checking in. Staff was friendly and the property was well maintained. The room was nice too. That said, there are a lot of homeless people in the area as there is a resource shelter a block away. Many of them are clearly troubled with drug addiction and/or mental illness

It's generally a nice hotel but every door slams closed on its own, so you hear LOUD slams ALL night and ALL morning as everyone comes and goes. For this reason I would never stay there again. I simply can NOT believe this is the way the doors were set up and this was approved by the owner. They clearly don't care if you get good sleep or not.

We traveled with our two teen daughters and two small dogs. The view from our room, "Suite, 1 Bedroom, Corner" was very large, clean and comfortable. the view was wonderful. The room was in fair condition. some of the windows were either very dirty on the outside or had a broken seal that caused condensation to get between the pains. We booked a Studio Suite: 2 Queens for our girls. Their view was of a wall a few feet from their window. The breakfast was just okay but on the poor end of the range of average for this level of hotel. Staff was very nice.

It was spacious and quiet!!!! It also had lots of lobby space and also outdoor seating area by the pool. The bed was comfortable as well. It was in a good central downtown location but about a block away from all the loud craziness of downtown.

Big rooms!! Got the 2 bed with sofa bed and we were pleasantly surprised with how spacious it was! Staff was really nice and the breakfast buffet beats most brunch restaurants. Not far from the downtown core too so was really convenient to get around!

Nice and clean. The bed was comfortable and pretty close to 6th St bars and entertainment. Valet parking is exceptionally expensive at $45 a night. Look for street parking especially on weekends.

I had a good stay, not great. The room was not cleaned the entire time I was there and nobody asked me if I wanted it cleaned. So no, it was not clean. The breakfast ran out of coffee each morning. And you did a lousy job taking care of Marathon runners. A definite missed opportunity.

The bathroom was the worst part of the room. Hard to even put into words. It was dark, and the bathroom sliding door entry didn't close all the way because it contacts the toilet. Bottom line: the property is old and dated. It a standard 3-star hotel. go somewhere else if you want a more modern hotel and room accommodations. Renovations in the rooms are needed. I have stayed at other Hyatt hotels, and this hotel doesn't even come close to those.

Spacious suite w/ kitchenette, living room w/ sectional sofa and large bathroom! The room was immaculately clean! Modern updates and friendly and helpful staff! Gym and pool looked decent although we didn’t use. Nice outdoor seating area. Area seemed safe although staff didn’t advise walking around at night but to take a ride-share. There is not a lot of things right around the hotel but we did find a really nice bar just a block away- which we were fine walking to during the late afternoon. Stubb’s BBQ is a cool spot not far from hotel. Staff helpful about parking and of course you can valet for a daily fee. The bar area was very small and lacked a cozy bar atmosphere but rather an extension of the lobby. Bartender was nice and he made a good cocktail! A billiard table a plus. We would definitely stay here again!

I thuight i was paying 158 a night. I checked out and owed 650. Parking 45 per night, pet fee 100, lots of taxes and fees. I feel like I got got.

Breakfast options were fine, but only by typical cotinental breakfast standards. There were fewer options than I'm used to but I i found what I needed/wanted.

The breakfast wasnt fresh but gladly i was really hungry but overall it was a good place to stay

I will start with the Pros - The hotel itself is nice - clean, staff is very friendly and accommodating, rooms are spacious and clean. CONS - location is REALLY DESIRABLE !! It is right behind a night club and the music is EXTREMELY LOUD at night. I heard the noise and felt the vibration of the music like it was in the next room. Also the hotel is a 1/2 block from an area where A LOT of homeless people roam around and sleep at night. I did not feel comfortable walking by there especially at night.

Then rooms are nice, spacious and comfortable. The area is very walkable. The breakfast was not very good and it could have used a couple more options.

Staff were the highlight. They gave great recommendations for restaurants. Unfortunately the hotel is located near a homeless shelter which made it unsafe to walk at night. There are many nearby places to visit.

Absolutely unacceptable. Despite requesting a quiet room, my room was next to a club with loud music all night. When I complained, staff told me to leave at 11 PM and gave me only 15 minutes to pack my luggage. Completely unprofessional, unsafe, and shocking behavior. Never coming back

Room was clean, big, and even has a microwave. Nothing bad to say, the staff was nice, breakfast was great (clean too). Very comfortable stay. I did not hear anything from next door meaning the sound insulation pretty good too. I actually just stayed another hotel in Austin one month ago, and I would say this one is better better. Location is great too 10min walk to Capitol. Also saw some firework on New Year Eve. Nice and would recommend

The room was great, the A/C was noisy that we had to turn it off. But the staff were great and very friendly and helpful! The location is good.

The facility itself is good. But in the back of the hotel, there is a bar that makes loud noise in the night, especially on Friday and Saturday. It woke me up in the midnight of Saturday. I call the front desk, but it seems that they could do little with it. They send us a white noise machine to naturalize the noise.

Very nice stay except for the feo

Parking was a major issue—there is no free parking, and the cost was extremely high. We ended up paying more for parking than we did for food, which was frustrating and very inconvenient. Checkout was another headache. It took far too long because no one was manning the front desk when we were ready to leave. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, service, and convenience led us to leave early. We will not be staying here again.

Been to Austin many times over the last two plus decades for work related things. I have stayed at a lot of hotels in TX for work. This was a1st for me with HH. From check in, valet, the rook/facilities, check out, hospitality w/ the restaurant/bar, I'd recommend this option to anyone that is headed to Austin!

Liked the hotel. If advertising as a game day hotel and rooms are available, don’t try to charge $40 to check in “early” when guests are clearly just dropping off bags and heading to the game. Clark eventually waived it but that kind of nickle and diming is off putting. Prefer others hotels that are sometimes priced higher but would definitely stay here again if the price is right.

The only problems we had with our stay was that some of the power outlets in the room didn’t work and the toilet was very slow to drain.

Upon arrival after a 3hr drive from Houston after a long work day I was given a room and key access to a room that was already occupied by another guest. The guest was performing inappropriate activities that honestly left me a little traumatized. So I rushed down to the lobby and apparently my room was given to a Bryan spelled with a I and not Y earlier that evening. Took about another 2 hrs just to get the situation situated and to find another room for me. was told it happens more than I can imagine. I have traveled and been to countless amounts of hotels and never had this kind of situation happen to me.

The location was convenient, and we realized it was only a short walk to the busy nightlife. However, it didn’t feel like the safest area to walk back from bars alone or without a larger group. Our room was great, spacious, clean, and we appreciated having a small kitchen with a microwave, sink, and fridge. The only downside was parking. We had to choose between valet or feeding street meters. They were fast to bring car around when we needed it. Other than that, it was a solid stay.

The front desk personal could use a standardized uniform rather wearing T shirt , it’s very unprofessional.Male desk personal could see a barber because some of them could barely see through their own hair or beard. I booked the hotel due to availability of parking not with a valet who charges $45 a night when I tried to park there. This should noted through the booking engines.

Location was perfect fot what I needed. Staff was polite and helpful. Water pressure was insane. Only complaint I have is there was a door that was constantly slamming on my floor. Sometimes I could feel it shake my bed. Idk if it was for cleaning services or what, but it did happen pretty often.

Never pay for high floor room. Also it doesn't have a bathtub even though it is 2 queen beds room. I have vip member benefit which is $20 credit per stay. Even though I stayed there 2nights but I could only use $20 because I didn't book the 2nights separately. I would never book Hyatt house again.

Do NOT book here. the room was so disgusting after a few minutes of being inside, our feet turned black. The bathroom lock was broken, the mirror was half functioning. These units are conjoining with one upper lock to separate the rooms. the staff is very contradicting and will not provide you with resolution for your concerns. we booked for 3 days, entered around 5:30pm and left at 7:20pm after fighting with the hotel for refund. Even reaching out to the corporate line-promising an update after 72 hours, nothing as been received. Extremely disappointing.

Staff is great! If you stay on a Friday or Saturday night be prepared for VERY loud music in your room that goes to around 2am, then on Sunday morning leaf blowers start at 7am. The vents in room go to outside, so it is like having your window open with all the noise coming straight in. Breakfast is very good and has lots of options. Front desk does the best they can about noise and offered white noise machine and ear plugs. Sunday night was nice a quiet with no live music outside.

Room was very loud on an evening rear rock club sound came through the air conditioning. On the 9th floor . Deposit takes 5-7 working days to be returned but very fast to take it on arrival not good when onward travel requires another deposit. Staff were great very happy to help always positive and polite.

Wonderful stay at the Hyatt House, clean rooms, good breakfast and tge staff was just the most accommodating. We didn’t use tge valet but the valet crew outside was also super friendly and helpful. Would stay here again!

The room provided was exceptionally spacious with a kitchen area and island equipped with electrical sockets. Bathroom was large and clean. Considering breakfast is included, thd price point is excellent. Good coffee together with a good range of unlimited hot and cold food. Free fruit in reception all day.

Loved our stay however the shower head was so hard that it hurt me to shower. My breast are tender from breastfeeding and the shower was very painful because of the shower head and pressure. Other than that my stay was great!

We were lucky to be on the top floor (9th), but our window faced an outdoor club with a concert and loud crowd that went on until 12:30am. Although a sign in the room offered earplugs upon request, that was not sufficient to block the noise and fall asleep.
