Homewood Suites by Hilton Austin-South/Airport

The light in.the.bathroom flickered really bad, and the light in the bedroom ceiling fan not.work. I reported.nothe of these to maintenance and nothing was ever done. Also, when we.got ready.to go to bed, we discovered that the.mattress.pad was on top of.the sheets and.under the spread. I personally pulled them off and put.them in a.corner, and again, told.the front desk. And.no one ever came and remade.the beds.

Staff was prompt and very professional. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed for our 4-night stay. Breakfast was amazing and the setup was very clean and appetizing. Will definitely stay here in the future! 😊

Clean room and good free breakfast. Sticker on bathroom mirror states they only clean the rooms and replace towels every two days. Nice to have Free parking too. Lots of other hotels in Austin area charge for parking. Hotel is located in a business park area which was nice and quiet too. We'd stay there again.

I was pleased that the room features I expected to have when I made my reservation, were exactly what I had when I got to my room. In addition, the shower water pressure was excellent, I could not hear my neighbors, and the breakfast spread was very attractively set up and on time. It was just one night, but it was a good one. Appreciated.

Comfy beds, unbelievably quiet!! Loved the size of room and great place to relax at end of stressful days. Breakfast was one of the best spreads I’ve ever had in a hotel “free” breakfast.

The place is falling apart. Wallpaper is peeling off the walls. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable. Do not recommend.

The room smelled like greasy food slept with the window windows open to try to help with the odor other than that it was pretty clean

The breakfast was good and the assistant manager was awesome because upon arrival the room I got had bed bugs and all happened was house keeper came in and changed the sheets. I refused to sleep in that room so they gave me another room Some of the staff

The staff was very nice and helpful The place needs to be updated the TV didn't work most of the time the laundry was so old and didn't wash well. The furniture in the room had been chewed up by animals. No cooking utensil in the roo. No dish soup it was a mess.

I think the breakfast was probably the largest I have seen with quality items, kept fresh by the kitchen staff. Housekeeping was great, front desk too. All my interactions were just blow away. The only problem I had, Joel took care of it efficiently and quickly. Nothing I can think of.

Everything was very clean, fully stocked and ready for us when we arrived. No complaints whatsoever and the continental breakfast was excellent! Anything we did request, was given promptly and everyone was very kind.

The staff was great! Breakfast was top notch. The room was very comfortable and clean. The room sepration between the livingroom and bedroom was very convenient. Some items in the room needed a little TLC like a wobbly outlet and a small hole on the bottom corner of the floor.

Friendly helpful staff. Hair from previous guests in the shower. GIANT roach in my room. Toxic non-stick skillet. Toxic black plastic spatula. Cooking dishes were not clean so I had to ask for clean ones at the front desk. Front desk could not provide a receipt for my stay because I used a third party booking service. The pulled pork for breakfast was horrible. The lunch meat breakfast ham or whatever it was was not good.

The property looks Ok but housekeeping could be improved, especially the restrooms. Additionally, it's a bit off putting to hear the front desk staff talking down on this country. I dont believe politics should be a topic of discussion.

Friendly helpful staff. Liked the chia pudding at breakfast. Whatever those are, they are not scrambled eggs! Horrible. The breakfast meats were no better. HVAC did not cool well in my room.

Staff very helpful, especially when we came in. Cara helped me find a place for dinner delivery(we were tired!)

Overall our stay was fine but the a/c never cooled the room down. We only stayed one night but it was 74-75 degrees in the room the whole time. Too toasty for me.

The front desk clerk was great at check in, throughout our stay and again at check out. The amenities and the layout of our room was perfect. We would stay here again. Great central location.

Very large rooms, nice kitchen and lvg area. Great bathroom too. Large comfy king bed and very clean. Wonderful breakfast! Area was quiet, safe, lots of nearby restaurants within a short drive. Showing some wear and tear. Wish they had week night managers reception like some some other locations, front desk guy said only on Weds due to limited staff. Also we stayed 3 nights but my room was never serviced but then again I didnt really need anything. I didnt see any bar, restaurant of mini mart within near by walking distance.

We enjoyed our suite. Before we checked out we had an issue with the dishwasher and the front desk staff was reassuring that engineering/ maintenance was going to handle it. We were pleased with how responsive they seemed.

The breakfast was good. There was a good variety of choices.

We got in really late and they tried to give us a room that was having some issue and needed a fan in the room to blow out a really bad smell. We said there was no way we would be able to stay in the room, as it reaked. The staff was very nice and gave us another room.

It was a short drive to downtown, room was a good size and comfortable, breakfast was decent, staff was nice. The only downside was the water pressure in the shower was too high in our opinion

We stayed at this hotel two nights while visiting Waco and Austin. The hotel was close to the airport, right off the interstate and was very clean. The breakfast was great too.

The ceilings were freshly painted and not creepy to look up at. The kitchens were a great idea, but the absence of dishwashing liquid/sponges or a garbage can that could hold takeout containers was a bit impractical for a short stay. The check-in app/key was not compatible with third party (expedia) bookings. The breakfast was good, the room was quiet and all the staff were very helpful. Very functional, but not luxorious.

It needs to be updated. Our room was nice but musty smelling. We had the two room suite since we are a big family and it was a great option. I just wish they made a way to keep the adjoining doors open. I love these hotels because they make staying as a big family easier. Update and get new flooring.

There was a group of 7 of us staying in a two bedroom suite. The suite advertised said it had 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with two queen beds. Well, we got in the suite and each room only had a king bed each. Which is not enough room for 7 people. The front desk staff said expedia advertised it wrong. They were sold out so they couldn't fix it. So, 2 nights of sleeping in a king bed with my 2 younger kids, myself, and my husband was not comfortable at all. There was not enough place settings and utensils etc. There was only enough 4 people. They only gave one dishwashing pod to run the dishwasher. Also, there was not enough trash bags. We stayed 2 nights, so with 7 people, 4 tiny bags is not enough. The building also shows its age. In one room there was an obvious leak above before that they didn't seem to fix the ceiling and wall cosmetically.

The staff were excellent and I loved the size of the room. However, this place is badly in need of updating. Everything was outdated, the beds were uncomfortable enough that my entire family slept poorly, and the linens were awful. The pandemic breakfast was fine considering the situation, but could be improved.

its was a rainy day in austin other then that the hotel was amazing breakfast was warm and very clean!

The hallways are narrow and low ceilings make it feel very tight. The room did not have much natural light, was very tight and felt closed in with the low ceilings and not much space to move around. We had to utilize the sofa bed in the living room so that made it even worse. The room seemed to be cleaned well, but the mattresses were aged and not comfortable. I had to use the lobby restroom the next morning while we were loading up. The floor was not swept and there was a build up of dust on toilet paper dispensers. They did not serve a hot breakfast because of Covid . It was a bag of a few items you could take with you. That was disappointing because the other hotel we stayed in the night before served hot breakfast tacos that they prepared for you. It was an ok stay, but I would probably not choose this one again. The rooms being so closed in are a deal breaker for me.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable and the a/c waa not working as well as it could have been.

Honestly I bet my rating would be much higher if this wasn't Covid time. Only one maid they said and had to reserve day in advance if you want your room cleaned. Breakfast was a paper bag with a bagel w/ sausage and egg take to your room and eat.

This hotel was beautiful. The room was gorgeous and clean. Really loved the decor and it had wonderful touches, everything you’d need to make you feel right at home. Wish I could have stayed longer than just one night.

We were very pleased with our stay. The room was quiet, clean and functional. Neighborhood is a bit outdated but the property was appealing. Definitely stay again when in the Austin area.

Staff very accommodating especially during these C19 times. Modified breakfast to be easily grab and go, minimizing virus spread.
