Great location to get to the airport or downtown by car, plenty of free parking. Very big and comfortable room, particulalry useful when repacking suitcases.

The staff is the shining star of this hotel. Though the grounds are well kept and room accommodations more than adequate, the friendliness, positive attitude, and performance of this staff is what will have me returning here in future Austin visits. Many Holiday Inns could learn a lot from this example.

Basic hotel for a quick overnight trip. Clean, comfortable, everyone friendly. Parking was easy. Would stay here again if need arises.

The building and amenities are good. My concern was that the carpet was very dirty with stain. The staff was professional courteous breakfast was OK. The eggs were very cold. Everything else was good. The location was perfect for the events. We attended in the Austin area. I would book a stay there again. The small stuff doesn’t really bother me, but since you wanted me to rate your location.

The headboard on the bed was broken, there weren’t enough towels in the room, the shower curtain was too short and water got everywhere when showering, and the tv did not work properly.

I I like that it was clean breakfast was very well put together It was hot in the hallway and elevator. When I got to my room there was a cup of coffee from the previous tenant

Location worked for us. Staff was nice with a facility that looked nice as well. AC unit was LOUD and not very functional.....a true need in Texas. Reported to the front desk, a maintenance guy showed up, worked a bit and said he would be back. We had to leave but upon our return, the AC was the same, loud, and the room/was humid......the AC needs repair. When it was time for room cleaning, I asked for some extra towel - they didn't have any. Lastly, parking is a premium here - the lot fills up quickly as its small and I saw many guests parking in front of the hotel, in a bank lot.

A couple started arguing outside my room at 4 a.m. Police and an ambulance arrived at the hotel. I couldn't get back to sleep and decided to leave. I didn't expect this to happen, especially considering the price I paid for the night.

I like how helpful the front desk lady was with an issue i was having with booking.com I didn't like that they didn't have any toothpaste or mouth wash available.

Did not eat breakfast at hotel due to choices and quality of premade food. I liked that this property was close to the Saint David’s South Austin Hospital, where my daughter had to do a clinical rounds day with her nursing school. The beds were comfortable in the bathroom was clean. They put us in the room right next to housekeeping, which was very loud in the early morning hours. The location of the hotel, although close to Saint David’s Hospital South Austin, was in a sketchy area. There were a lot of people hanging around the hotel that didn’t look Safe. I was afraid that my car might be broken into and I was not able to park in the front of the hotel. I had to drive around to the back which was scarier.

My first time here. The night desk staff was terrific. The location was moderately easy to find thanks to GPS. The whole establishment was clean and friendly.

It is very close to downtown Austin, and about driving 30 minutes to San Marcos Outlet, I believe many people come for shopping. To San Antonio, driving about one hour.

Parking area was well lit and we felt safe walking in late at night. Staff was friendly and courteous. The carpet in the hallway was not the cleanest but thankfully the room and everything inside it were clean. They had liquid soaps locked up on a wall which works fine for adults but were not reachable for my kid. The sink is smaller than it appeared on the pictures. Overall it was a good experience and the price was reasonable.

Manager was disgusting and yelling at me. I tried to say that room was loud and she said thats not her problem. She said to take up with Expedia ? I want to start by saying that the front-of-house staff provided excellent customer service. They were attentive and accommodating to our requests. When we entered our room, it was clean and updated. The breakfast the next morning was delicious, with plenty of fresh and healthy options!

Overall we had a great stay. The only complaints I have is that the floor in our room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned recently and the room had a weird paint smell (the hotel is remodeling). Other than that we had a great stay.

We had three rooms. We really enjoyed our stay but 1 room had a roach running around and the management said we have to talk to expedia.

We are given a room that was dirty and we had to go back to the front desk and tell them. Then they changes the room. First impression matters.

Multiple cars, including mine was broken into in the back parking lot. Back area is dark, under construction and the hotel doesnt seem to have adequate security. Nothing of value was left inside the vehicle, so luckily for me, it only cost me a window.

The carpet was very dirty and dingy. It had a lot of big stains and dead bugs on it. Smelled bad and looked like they had not vacuum cleaned in quite awhile. The toilet was noisy and it was difficult to get a good night sleep. On checkout day the cleaning lady knocked on our door at 915am claiming we needed to have been checked out already and they needed to clean the room. She was a little rude. According to the reservation, check out time was at 11am

Room lacked USB ports. Had to borrow USB plug from front desk to charge phone. That was very inconvenient.

There was multiple guest having trouble with Expedia saying there reservation was cancelled. We had to rebook with hotel. But we did get a cheaper price. That was a plus side.

Had an excellant experience staying here, from the moment we walked in, the young man that checked us in was excellant. Friendly, advised us of places to eat close by, let us know the pool was open, etc. The room was clean and very spacious. Top floor, we had a great view of downtown Austin skyline! The breakfast was excellant with plenty of choices. I will stay here again.

I stayed here nearly 2 years ago and it was a nice, comfortable, well-maintained hotel. Not so much anymore. This hotel is at that point where the owner can make the decision to invest back in their business to keep it relevant,.or they can pocket all profits and let the hotel become one of those that no one wants to stay at.

The hotel really needs renovations. The bathroom walls and ceiling were all peeling. The thermostat was not properly attached to the wall. The water pressure was very low and beds were very uncomfortable.

The room smelled terrible. It has a strong odor of musk, damp mildew smell, horrible . It was so bad it started to itch on my throat as I breathed. I asked to be moved and was denied because they were fully booked. The front desk manager said it was the chemical cleaning agents used but I went to tow other rooms and they did not smell. They could not even provide an air freshener as the where out. Terrible experience.i stayed in room 201, avoid this room at all cost.

And, I will never stay in this hotel, and probably no IHG property, ever again. When we drove up, the first word that came to mind was, dingy. From the outside the hotel looked shabby. If a hotel doesnt even bother with curb appeal, what about the inside? The further we got from the lobby, the worse the place looked. The carpet in the room was disgusting. I felt nauseous looking at it. Not once did I let my feet touch it. I didn’t even let my suitcase touch it. The remote was so nasty and grimy. I cleaned it with disinfecting wipes but I couldnt get rid of the grime so I put it inside of a piece of plastic and used it that way. The toilet seat was loose. The sink drain was so slow and every time we used it the sink filled up with water and left residue...makeup, shaved facial hair. Gross. The walls in the room were scuffed and chipped and dirty. It was just too much. If I could have gone to another hotel, I would have turned around as soon as I opened the door to the room.

Don’t let them book you in room 301; it has major plumbing issues. For $200+per night, you should expect a working shower.

Is excellent everything including the personal but they have to take care about the people indigent inside the building and outside around the pool and the parking is the only thing one day I was in the breakfast area and some old man eat and stay there like everybody and I think they need security in the building
