It was a quick trip for me- just an overnight but the hotel was pretty nice for a quick visit! Room was very clean and very quiet, the staff was wonderful- very kind and did a great job assisting me with patience and kindness. Breakfast was fresh, hot and a great variety! I'll stay here again when passing through Austin!

This property is just tired. Our first night, there was a strong smell of weed on our floor and we presumed a guest was smoking in the room. On our second night, the ceiling in the bathroom collapsed and made a mess. The front desk was very understanding and immediately put us in another room and offered free breakfast the next morning. We noticed the ceiling in the replacement room also had evidence of ceiling issues and repair. Based on their response, we got the feeling this may have happened before. Again the staff were very friendly, helpful and understanding so I don't want to take anything away from them. My review really pertains to how tired the hotel is.

This is the second time I've stayed here. Last time, I caught it while there were some AC issues. It didn't affect me, but it did my coworkers that were staying there. From check in to check out, I had a great experience.

Overall, the property just felt worn down and unkempt. I do want to acknowledge that the housekeeping staff seemed to be working hard, so this felt more like an ownership and maintenance issue than a staff issue. It did not seem like the hotel has been properly updated or cared for in quite some time, including the banquet and meeting spaces. During a meeting, I noticed stained ceiling tiles, peeling wallpaper, and even the water fountain was not working. Unfortunately, I also had an unpleasant interaction with a bartender who was rude when I asked a simple question. Altogether, it was not a good experience, and I would not stay there again and definitely recommend against using this hotel.

Stay was great. My complaint is the pillows. As soon as you pay your head that thing flattened out badddddd. Actually kept me up for a couple hours. So definitely didn’t get a good nights sleep. Luckily check out is a little late and that what saved the stay

Hotel was just ok, it needs some upgrades, we didn't have a microwave in the room. The air conditioner was cold that was a plus. You only get 2 towels. The restroom in the lobby was filthy, every trash can overflowing. The bushes out front had trash in them.

This was the first time staying at this hotel. I had no issues with the reservation. I arrived gave my name they were able to check me in right away. They let me know about their breakfast once I arrive at the room. It was very nice very clean had no odd smells. The beds were very comfortable. It felt like I was actually sleeping in my own bed. There was no noise. And I slept well throughout the night and the greatest part is the checkout time by noon help me wake up and enjoy my morning without feeling rushed to check out of my room I even left with a good hot cup of coffee

The complimentary breakfast wasn't there, we went down at 8am to be told we would be charged $14 each so we went to a restaurant instead

Didn’t spend too much time in the hotel, but the rooms need some updating, it looks and feels old.

When we arrived, I had to wait at the front desk for nearly 10 minutes before somebody came-there was a sign that said I will be right back though. The front desk clerk was nice though. We got to our room on the second floor and I had a very musty, dirty smell, the sheets didn't smell too good either. The phone in the room did not work. I went downstairs to ask for another room which they were able to accommodate right away. We got our new room and it was fine, no foul smells, but the phone didn't work in that phone room either. The property looks very dated- old rugs in the common areas and in the rooms. Lots of rust around metal doors as well as elevator. A lot of scuff marks on the walls. They were very accommodating about a late checkout though. The price wasn't bad but Mary no frills hotel, no water or coffee in the lobby and breakfast was not free. If they get some updates and some maintenance on this place, it would probably would be a better experience. The grounds and the landscaping were nice though.

The staff member that checked us in didn’t seem very talkative or a people person at all. The person who checked us out was much more kind. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable sadly. Over all it was worth the money for the stay, but not my favorite place I’ve stayed in the area.

There was some sort of construction/maintenance in the adjoining room. All I heard, while waiting for my mother's surgery to finish, was banging, hammering and a very loud electric screw driver. No one told me this would be going on and it was very inconsiderate of them not to, at least, warn me first. Next morning, The cleaning staff decided to vacuum about 7:30am, which isn't an issue until they start slamming the vacuum into the walls with every stroke. The noise created by the staff was completely unnecessary. There are plenty of people that stay in this hotel that visit St. David's. While I realize you can't shut up the others patrons, the staff could help reduce their own noise to help. Sleeping and relaxing from a stressful situation was NOT what the hotel offered. Pretty disappointed in the staff, however the front desk clerks were perfectly lovely!

We didn't get a chance to eat breakfast because we checked out before they started serving. Great hotel. Kind of older but clean. Only complaint is I could hear a bunch of people through the walls about 2:00 am yelling and getting sick in the bathroom ! They were loud in the halls. Not the hotel's fault but the walls were very thin! lol Would stay again however if in that area.

Our only complaint/concern was the lack of secured parking. That being said, this place will remain on our list of places to stay when we come up to Austin to visit our daughter.

Older Hotel, but plenty of space, close to restaurants. Best employee award goes to Henry at the bar. He gave us menues to eat at the bar, and was very friendly. The gentleman who fixed the cable on our Tv was great as well.

Room was big, clean, and welcoming. Plenty of handicap parking. The person at the desk was informative, but not friendly. Bathroom needed some updating. Ceiling paint was missing and peeling.

Upon arrival we were greeted by Ms. Penny and service was excellent, However when we arrived at our room we were surprised at the condition of the room itself. The bedding was stained on both beds, the carpet was also stained, and the room reeked of smoke. There was visible dust on the tables as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. I was shocked and asked Ms. Penny if we could relocate to a different and without hesitation she accommodated us. Although the new room was a bit cleaner than the previous I did not feel as if it would not meet anyone’s expectations. Thank you Ms. Penny for your kindness.

Everything in the room was either broken or damaged. The light fixture next to the bed was loose and would fall off in the middle on the night. The shower had broken a loose faucet. There was black mold in the bathroom next to the mirror and around the top of the shower wall. There was rust all over the door hinges in the bathroom.

Booked this place because there were good reviews and close to the Moody Center. But when we got to the room it was quite disgusting. The carpet was very stained in multiple areas, they had 2 side sofa chairs that were heavily stained in all places and not to mention we also found a condom behind one of the chairs. The staff was great but the rooms were just gross.

Our room had ceiling cracks, stained furniture and uncomfortable mattress. Light switches had black grime but somehow the room seemed clean otherwise. I bought a container of disinfectant wipes though as I’m a bit of a germaphobe. Room safe broken and not repairable per staff. On the plus side, front desk people were very nice and you can walk to a variety of stores and restaurants. We were able to check in early. Pool is surrounded by trees so as another reviewer said it is filled with leaves. We saw maintenance guy clean it and 10 minutes later leaves were everywhere. We swam anyway because the water looked clear and temps in high 90’s. Pool surface is also deteriorated, pool towels the size of hand towels. Everywhere we looked there were ripped light shades, stained rugs, cracked ceilings etc. Breakfast buffet offerings weren’t bad but air conditioning was out the last 2 days in the dining area. They could use more staff there as they couldn’t keep up with cleaning tables and hostessing even though they really tried. Common areas look better than our room. I think function rooms are probably decent and the core business. F1 was in town when we were there so room prices were high and hotels were pretty booked so we took a chance as the location was not too far from where our family event was. Would not stay there again.

The room was ok size and the bedding clean but there was a persistent and pervasive odor of urine in the room. We were very disappointed and I would not recommend it.

Wasn't the cleanest hotel. When we search, we always search for free breakfast, it has changed since we booked and the breakfast was a regular hotel breakfast and 12.95 a person. The pool was not well taken care of and the water was a dingy green color. The location was great but the hotel needs some work. Wouldn't stay here again

The pool was not clean! The room and pillows had a bad smell! There was cigarette buds in the outside balcony floor!

Rooms were spacious and very clean. Breakfast buffet was amazing lots of options. Staff was very friendly. Henry at the bar was very personable. Pool needed cleaning but overall great accommodations for the price.

Amazing staff and customer service

The staff was amazing and so nice, which is why I gave it a better review. The inside was pretty well kept and up to date. The outside however not so great it did not look as well kept and there was hardly any parking for the hotel that was close by they had a fairly large lot in the back which was about a mile away! The air conditioner didn’t really work that great, and let me say that I’ve been to plenty of other hotels in Texas in the middle of summer and the ac always worked fine so it’s not a Texas heat problem. Not to mention it leaked as well. And finally the mattress was so hard that I couldn’t sleep and subsequently had back pain for a few days following. Not a terrible stay, just not at the top of my list…

When we arrived the place looked kinda run down and the building its self looked fairly old. However, when we entered the establishment was clean and up to date. The room itself was a decent size and clean! The breakfast was unfortunately not that great… it was honestly a 3/10, I kinda expected more. Staff was friendly!

The outside of the hotel looks very sketch. I was nervous of where to park my car. The girl at the front desk seems miserable. Our room had a missing chain lock, only the deadbolt on door and the door didn’t look secure at all. There’s no patio furniture, just an outdated slab, the tv signal lagged entire time. Beds were so hard. Hotel was so noisy. Best part was the sweetest staff at breakfast.

This is a very NOT well taken care property. The rooms are disgusting. Broken lights, broken door, broken cabinetry, dirty bathroom counter, dirty shower tub (hair from previous stay). We have pictures of all the these items. We had to leave the place and find a different hotel. Do not waste your time and money booking this hotel!

Got in around 1230am Saturday Front reception was exceptionally wonderful polite, she was just great checking in was fast,room was clean ,great size bed great view of downtown, love it...

This is a very convenient and comfortable property. Breakfast buffet was basic but good, at least for me: protein yogurt, huevos con chorizo, fruit including strawberries, bread and breakfast pastries, coffee, milk, good raisin bran, bacon. The only negative was that the front desk was unmanned when we showed up around 7:15pm to check in and we had to wait 5 minutes for a clerk to show up.

The staff was friendly. The property was quiet and close to dining (The Linc). Parking wasn’t bad there’s a lot but it’s more to the rear of the property.

This property was affordable and offered free parking. It was also conveniently located with several dining options around, but I would not stay there again largely based on the staff. Besides Edith, the staff wasn't friendly or welcoming. If you asked a question, they seemed bothered to answer. Housekeeping came at random times to clean. If you were not up and out before 8am, you missed your cleaning for the day and had to keep dirty towels in your room. One day, they ran out of towels and we had to wait hours to receive. A housekeeper came to our door, banged, and then tossed our towels to us. No words, just literally tossed them to us. There was no hospitality whatsoever. Edith was attending the front desk when we checked out, and she was super friendly and thanked us for visiting the property and area. Too bad, she wasn't on staff throughout our entire stay.

The carpet in our room was filthy and covered in stains. There was mold all over the ceiling. There wasn't any bedding for the pull-out sofa bed and when we asked for some, they brought us a pillow, comforter, and mattress pad, but no sheets. The carpets in the hallways were dirty and the pool, though clear, had lots of leaves and things floating in it. Previous stays have been better than this past one. I highly recommend skipping the breakfast as it is overpriced and not good at all. Most hotels' free breakfasts are better than this one. The coffee pot in the lobby was also empty and there wasn't anyone around to tend it or even ask. Our stay was pretty rough, but I didn't give it a 1 star because we have had better stays in the past.

My husband and I were the twice in two weeks, both times were for concerts. The first visit was not the best. Our room had stains on the sofa and bedsheets. There were visible dirty handprints around a mirror in the room, signifying that some people had fun before we got there. The second time we went, the room was a bit better. There were still visible stains on a sofa, so we did not utilize it at all. The outside of the hotel seemed a little sketchy, but at least we didn’t have to pay extra for parking. Staff was very nice and friendly.

Beds comfortable. Balcony wall broken and unsightly. Lamp shade torn! Initial desk reception no greeting and no smile, and no enjoy your stay. No interaction other than room number, and times the restaurant or breakfast times!

Decent hotel. Nice for the money spent. Bathroom could have been cleaned better as there was mold behind faucet. Ice machine was gone on our floor so had a hard time getting ice. Security guard on premises at all times which made us feel safe.

Looked a little scary on the outside at first, but the inside was incredibly clean and the staff was friendly and organized. Would stay again

Overall the stay was okay. Elevators had a nasty smell, tv remote in room didn’t work, walls dirty, & WiFi was horrible.

The front desk people were friendly & the bartender was excellent. It was clean and located in a safe area. The biggest down side is that the rooms are dated & worn.

I stay here every week and they treat me like a friend. Love the staff.

There was lots of parking available, but I did not see any security around the facility, and only vehicles were parked in different spots.

Was not able to check in at 3pm because there were no rooms available as told by the front desk clerk. There were about 10 customers wait for rooms. Several had left and come back and there were still no rooms available despite having made reservations ahead of time. The clerk stated there was nothing he could do and management not available until Monday for escalation. He was supposedly blocking customers into rooms as they became available but no names were asked. I mentioned this when I returned to the counter to make sure my name was on that “list” and the clerk rolled his eyes at me in front of other customers. Which I did call him out when he did so. People have plans, which were now altered because there were no rooms available. Is it not the same expectation to have rooms available at check in time despite being full the day before? I was not able to cancel my reservation at the site since it was made thru Hotels.com. Fortunately I my kids and I were able to stay with my niece before heading back home the next day. Very disappointed in the way the clerk handled this situation

Room was really nice. But bathroom little dated. Toilet seat was broke and ceiling peeling in shower. Hotel is in a good spot. And the property is nice. Was quite and felt safe.

Very old and rooms especially bathroom needs refurbishing. No microwave? Had to go downstairs to heat up food. No free breakfast or coffee.

Beds are super comfortable and the pillows are not travel size!

Stayed for two nights, it’s pretty close to downtown if you have a car but the hotel is a little run down a little dirty, but the bed sheets where fine which is what I usually get grossed out by.

Nice room, location was good, plenty of food options around. Shower leaked onto bathroom floor quite a bit.

The room we got was so outdated, the lights are so dim that it felt like it haven’t changed in 10 years. the airconditioning unit is so humid and not functioning good, woke up sweating in the middle of the night. We were supposed to be there two nights but spent one night only, we left before we even slept for the second night because the hotel doesn’t have a welcoming vibe when you should feel like you can relax when you get to the room. The towels feels dirty and smells weird as well. When I did checkout at 6pm, I went to the front desk to give my room key and the receptionist was bland and literally just said “ok” “ok” without asking how the stay was or why we are checking out early, or if it’s even possible. They also could’ve atleast provide complimentary waters for the guest to be paying a decent night stay.

Everything was great. Only thing I didn’t like was that there’s no microwave in the room. We stayed two nights and we had to go down into the front desk area to warm up some food

We needed a place to stay 1 night. This was perfect. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff were so nice.

Nice place, breakfast was good I’m booked here because I love to have a balcony, however, there was not a single chair on any balcony!! Who wants a balcony with no chairs or table??!! I’ll actually never stay at a Hilton again for this reason!

This is a decent place to stay if you need to be close to Austin Heart Hospital. Otherwise, PASS. First impression of this hotel was bad. Very limited parking near the entrance… with an only one row of tightly spaced parking spots in the front. The only space I found in the front was littered with trash/beer cans so I had to park in the very back of the property. The side/rear parking area is poorly lit. I did not find any key card entrances in the back. The adjacent property is a disheveled vacant lot with a “private property sign”. I was not comfortable walking from my car to the front door at night. It The lobby was nice. The staff person at check in was great. The bar area and common areas were inviting. Then I went upstairs and was disappointed again. The front cover of the ice machine was on the floor and the door to my room was ajar. An open door was a first for me and totally freaked me out, but I entered despite my reservations. The sleeping area is nice. It is outdated, but looked like clean with fairly standard hotel accommodations, but very dated….. popcorn ceilings. Then I checked the bathroom. All I can say is….. gross! The door had a huge badly patched hole and small holes on the inside from a doorstop. The robe hanger was broken. The tub had rust in it and a faucet that never stopped dripping. No tub/sink stoppers. Pieces from a bad ceiling patch fell into the tub while I was there and I noticed dark spots that looked like mold. No from me.
