We arrived very late or should I say early in the morning around 2 am. Very tired, room did not smell, the bathroom was very clean and the bed was very comfortable, slept very well. The price is very good. Staff was very nice.

I have to travel to Austin every 21 days for Chemo and for other Dr appts. My husband and I come up the day before and stay at Econolodge. It is clean, quiet and staff is very friendly. It is perfect for our needs

It was absolutely false advertising the nastiest place that I have been in a very long time. The guy was rude and I did not sleep all night because I was scared to get in the bed.

There was no regular bread when I got there at 9 AM on a Saturday. There were problems with WiFi. The inside lighting was awful and I could hear the traffic from inside my bedroom, including a car screech on brakes that woke me up mid-sleep. The only saving grace was HBO.

The fact that the deposit was almost double the rate for 2 nights. They alow pets but it's apparently a $40 fee & $40 deposit so keep that in mind. & the fact that it takes 10 business days for the deposit to return seems kinda sketchy.

Non smoking room was horrible! We couldn’t breathe with the smoke penetrating the room. We stayed 15 min and left to find another hotel. Clerk was nice but room was horrible. Pictures were not what actual room was.

We stayed at the king bed accessible suite and The room was perfectly clean and accessible bathroom - only complaint is there was no door for the bathroom/toilet just a curtain and the water pressure in shower was very bad. Besides that great cheap stay

I some how booked a handicap room the shower barely sprayed any water out and was not allowed to park in handicap spot in front of my room even though I was in the handicap room that went with that space. I asked for a room with a tub and got a shower only.

The bathroom vent/light/fan is open, rusty and has spray foam insulation sticking out. The toilet seat was loose and would shift sideways. The vanity light has no cover. The bathmat was stained. The sheets and bed cover had stains. Otherwise, the room was clean and neat.

A few things missing, such as the coffee pot. There was coffee and cups but nothing to make the coffee with!! No iron, but the ironing board was there.

The man in the morning was super nice and funny and the night lady was nice and helpful. The room was clean. It is a good location. It would've been a great stay but the walls were paper thin and I could hear my neighbor ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT with his loud music and his yelling & cursing and his door slamming. I could also smell the cigarette smoke from outside from where he was smoking. I was really disappointed. I did not get no sleep at all even after I told him to keep it down. I should've complained to the front desk but I didn't because Im not one to escalate things as I did have my children with me I didn't want to cause further problems, I tried being nice and told him myself to keep it down, it didn't work so I left it alone and just struggled through the night. Also the room had doors inside leading to the next room which felt very unsafe even tho it had a lock, still kinda weird.

It's quiet you don't hear anything Thirty five dollars Pet fee. It's good for a 5 nights. If you decide to stay extra 2 days or so, you still have to pay a $100 fee on top of the deposit you already pay for

It's the kind of place where construction workers stay for a month. It's very run down, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I didn't feel unsafe. The breakfast was just okay. The light over the sink didn't work and the toilet didn't work too well.

It was a nice lodge loved the pictures especially the one Welcome to Austin. Near a great seafood place hook and reel and Jim's home cooking. Good pricing for 3 nights. Would definitely go back if going to Austin. Wish I had some photos would share them

I did not read reviews before booking this hotel which is a mistake I will NEVER make again. I checked in about 3:30 and went into my room where I ate something. Afterwards, I went into the restroom and there was mold on the ceiling. When I raised the concern with front desk staff I was told “it’s impossible for there to be mold but I will come look” the manager entered my room and said that it was just mildew and he could paint over it to kill it. At this point he said that he would come finish the PAINTING OVER IT in the morning without offering to move me to another room despite my telling him that I am highly allergic to both mold and mildew and there were now paint fumes in my room. Later I began having an allergic reaction so I called and asked to be moved to a different room (not even requesting an upgrade). I was laughed at and hung up on. About 30 minutes later just after 7:30 PM, they called me and gave me an ultimatum: stay to be dealt with in the morning OR check out and leave the premises. I chose the latter because I was already having an allergic reaction and I did not want to end up in the hospital. This morning when I contacted Expedia to process my refund they contacted him and he changed his story, now saying it was just a stain and not mold or mildew at all. When I called the front desk to complain he told me “If you are so allergic to mold and mildew you should just stay home instead of going to hotels” before very abruptly hanging up on me.

If you are looking for a cheap room in Austin, go with this place. It is decent. Not a great neighborhood, but the parking lot is fairly secure, they actually serve you a breakfast in the morning, and the staff is friendly. It is decently clean. This is a dive motel, but it is best in class for Austin.

Definitely a no-frills Motel. It was convenient to our activity in Austin. The room and bathroom were clean. The beds were comfortable however, the pillows seemed well worn and flat and uncomfortable. Price was reasonable.

We immediately left and went back to ask for a refund but we were told it was too late. We didn’t feel safe staying there just I was ok with losing my money.

The room was old, there were permanent stains on the door frames, the toilet seat had burn marks even though it's a non smoking room. The sheets were clean and the A/C worked fine. Not worth the price

As soon as we got there we wanted to cancel our stay go somewhere nicer but we couldn’t cause we missed the deadline for a refund, the room they had put us in originally was dirty, hot as hell, and had a smell in there that smelled like hot wood and paint, you could see where they painted over the wall with different color paint on the walls, you could also see a paint bubble the size of a tv from the paint not being applied correctly, and the ac unit was blowing hot air, had asked for a new room and we got moved to a cleaner room with a working ac unit and cleaner walls, I also had a friend come pick me up and they had been swatted by people staying there or people around there, if I were able to I would have cancelled my room and spent the extra money staying somewhere nicer, the pictures on the app were nothing to how it actually looks like.

The neighborhood was kind of depressing - lots of not attractive small businesses. I think I more than got my moneys worth.

Shower head was terrible and lacked pressure. It was likely because it was spraying out the side as it wasn't installed properly. The bed was comfortable but the linens not the nicest looking. The dog from other reviews is still on or near the property and barked both nights of my stay. I was able to sleep through it but light sleepers will have a difficult time I would imagine. Location is nice because there are food options within walking distance.

We had to pay separately, when we had booked together. They were gracious enough to give us an hour after checkout. The overall experience was just awkward and unpleasant between waiting for manager to respond to front desk clerk to everything else

I don't know how unsafe it was but the vibe wasn't great. I had room 120 which faces the street and is exceptionally noisy. The other rooms may be better, I don't know. The internet did not work for us at all.

The desk clerk was very helpful. The rooms was clean and comfortable. The property was a little run down and not in the best area.

Motel is old and beat. The area is ok to find food and gas. The motel itself has seen it's days. They are trying to give it better look in pictures. First the room door needs to be forced open and closed, it maybe just my room. The rust in tub drain and toilet very ugly. Toilet dances with your movement. A lot of damage on doors and walls and ugly patches. Staff were nice. The breakfast is really a joke and maybe just to fool people by saying a breakfast included. The breakfast is only waffle, sausage, and few slices of bread. Nothing else beside artificial juice and bad coffee. Oh maybe some tea bags....

Booked the room through hotels. Com for $76. When I got to the hotel he tried to charge me an extra $200 for a deposit. No where on my conformation did it state that. I tried to explain that to him and he kept pulling up a website that wasn’t who I booked with. I left and booked somewhere else.

The staff was very helpful and the motel was clean. It is a neighborhood where there are quite a few homeless people and it did not feel comfortable even going out to the car at night. The lights were good though and none of the cars were bothered overnight. On Expedia we mentioned that we had a cat. When we got to the motel there was a substantial additional charge. It would have been useful to know that before hand.

This motel appears dishonest as they manipulated property images, using photos from a local event venue to create a misleading impression. We had to find alternative accommodation, and despite the situation, they didn't provide a refund. We suggest Expedia implement quality checks to prevent vendors from engaging in false advertising. The room was spacious and very clean! The staff in the office was super friendly and kind. Breakfast was small but there are hot items and I was really happy with the waffles! Thank you Sunny for your kindness and an easy check in and out. We had a very comfortable couple of days there. Definitely returning there next time we want to get away. When I got there at 2am to check in, it took a full hour to fully check in and get my key card. They also charged us about $200 in pet fees even though on the website it shows the hotel is pet friendly. Never going to an econo lodge again.

Amazing stay, staff and owner were polite. Room was clean. This is my new go to when I'm in town.

The neighbors were pound and didn’t let us sleep 3am they were loud and I called the front desk 2x and no answer!

The room was clean but pretty tired - no surprise at the price. But street noise was high, and the blanket was super thin - basically a second sheet. I will pay a bit more next time for a more comfortable stay.

Its definitely dated. Pretty clean and comfortable bed tho. But like any new american owned hotel, they cheap out on everything. The heater didnt work and the shower didnt work. Bare minimum towels and no soap or anything

The pictures and description are very deceptive. I had to leave early and lose out on money because this place was so gross. The interactions I had with employees was minimal and they were nice enough. But this place was absolutely disgusting inside the room. Cigarette burns on everything, stains on everything, light switches so crusted up with dirt, couch was filthy light in bathroom was rusted out, door frame in bathroom was falling off, door in bathroom was molded from the bottom up. Definitely learned a hard lesson booking sight unseen here.

Room was clean. Good bed. Bathroom sink area light did not work. Couldnt shave in the morning.

We were attending a game ot Q2 stadium and chose this hotel because of it’s proximity. A great choice. There is a bus that takes you there directly from to hotel. There’s an abundance of good restaurants and shopping nearby. Sunny, the manager, is a great guy. He treats everyone like a friend. We will definitely be staying there for games in the future.

Room was big and very clean

We came for the Texas longhorn game, try to get something pretty close to the stadium stadium, and we did. The timing was great and wasn't going to get there. But the property was a little sketchy. The room smelled like baby oil and cleaning supplies. My cousin that flew from Washington. Their room AC did not work properly. And it got hot and cold all night, they were uncomfortable.

Breakfast was nice. Staff was accomidating. Would recommend.

Nastiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in

The breakfast wasnt inviting. No meat left and fruit wasn't edible. Obviously not able to take advantage of that.

The staff was so kind and lovely. It's an older property but clean and well maintained.

Pretty nice spot. The rooms were surprisingly nice inside. Plenty of great restaurants and activities nearby. Parking lot entrance a tad tricky being near the major intersection. Altogether a very respectable stay.

Can hear the music till 11p from the restaurant accross the street. Room fairly clean, only issue I had was the door was shutting or opening right and huge gaps around the door.

What a disaster, could not check in due to not clear instructions regarding pet size … still had to pay, never again

This place is absolutely nasty. When I explained my reason for not wanting to stay was not granted a cancellation or refund. Place was hot, dirty not up to par, and roach infested. I had to rebook at another another hotel and lose out on my money for this room. I stayed at MOTEL 6 and it was a much more pleasant experience. Avoid this place it’s hot and bug infested.
