In comparison to other Comfort Inn properties we have stayed in over the last 9 months this was a disappointment. It was scruffy, we were unable to adjust or turn off the a/c in the bedroom and the food at breakfast was somewhat limited (the hot water was barely hot). In all, not what we have come to expect from Comfort Inn.

Our room was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was helpful by giving us ideas for things to do nearby before our flight home. The property is older, yet well taken care of. Complimentary coffee in the lobby was appreciated. This is close to many areas of interest, including the state capitol building.

Clean and easy to access. Breakfast is an actual breakfast. Area is a little shady these days and the vending machines and other facilities were old.

Rhe beds were not comfortable, breakfast was cold and the room was not very clean.

Staff rude They say credit card for deposit but don’t allow tap to pay. Since I had lost my card they wouldn’t let me use my digital card and refused me the room. Not even courteous enough to refund a portion of the money I paid for the booking.

The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful.

It was ok. the area was a bit sketchy but the parking lot was well lit. Best part is that it is within walking distance of an 'Ojos Locos' - very good eye candy within.

The breakfast availability was ok. They had the waffle maker, eggs, sausage, gravy. There was also cereal and bread products. The staff was very nice. There are no real walkable stores. You can drive to several. It could be updated a bit.

The rise in price just because of so many events going on in Austin.

The ice machine was leaking on the floor and there was water on the floor just outside the elevator. I knew it was there because I had seen it in another area of the floor earlier when I went to breakfast. I told the person at the desk that there was water on the floor and that someone could easily slip and fall. He was not concerned. Told me that they knew it was there and they would get it cleaned up. I knew that it had been there for at least an hour without anyone doing anything about it.

The hotel was in need of updates. It seemed clean and cared for, but it definitely had an odor when you walked in. Loud AC and no linens for the sofa bed. When I called they had me come down to the front desk and handed me a blanket and sheets.

Hotel is right best to a club and in the hood. It was loud at night couldn’t sleep. Room was not that clean and old looking.

I liked everything. The front desk clerk Alex was nice, helpful and friendly... The breakfast was so good... The bed was Comfortable. The bathtub was clean and my room smelled good.

The hairdryer caught on fire, they then wanted a deposit and when we refused they made our men leave. This was after we were checked in and we notified them of the fire incident . This was handled very poorly and we always book our men at Comfort Suites, I am surprised by the behavior of the staff.

The rooms are clean. I don’t recommend longer than a 1 night stay and the breakfast did not look fresh. The smell of the of the boiled eggs when you open the refrigerator was disturbing.

There was homeless people right next to the properties gate 24/7, which make you feel unsafe. The parking lot was over crowded from people trying to park away from the homeless side. The indoor pool was freezing. The gym was permanently locked since the front desk never bothered to get up and open the door with their keys. The staff was horrible. He couldnt understand us and we couldnt under him. They should really consider hiring someone that speaks and understands english.

Not the best place I've stayed at and would not stay there again. Orbits charge to my credit card price. And when I got a printed receipt from the hotel it was off in less than the amount that was charged to my credit card. Now that I need to make a travel claim for work, it is making it difficult. Because the numbers do not match

The breakfast was good. Staff was nice and gave extra towel as we requested. Shopping close by along with gas and fast food for the road. No complaints here.

Nice and small property. Rooms are clean but the hallway was a a little smelly. The surrounding around the property looks poor make you feel your car may or will get broken into. Thankfully that didn’t happen. Outstanding guest service that what make the stay feel good. Bed and room looks but the floor is outdated!

I was in a handicap accessible room, and I love how the beds were lower. This made it so much easier to get in and out of bed. Most of the hotels I stay at, the beds are very high. This made my stay wonderful! The pool also had a chair lift.

I had asked if I could look at the room before deciding and the host, after denying my request, reluctantly agreed. Entering the room, again, it was musty and smelled bad. The room was not clean. I told him at this point, we’d probably just not stay there. He showed me another room and it was cleaner, but the bad impression had already been made. I left and called Expedia to start the process of canceling my reservation.

The hotel and staff were wonderful. Everything was nice and clean. The only thing is that it's a bit off the main road and more in a hidden residential area. But after i checked in, i felt safe and i enjoed the rest if my stay. The front desk guy was very nice.

Hotel was not bad all in all, the breakfast was the only downside as the waffle batter was spoiled and you wouldnt notice until you attempted to eat it and the sourness got you. Plenty of towels and shower had good pressure.

We wanted to do early check-in at 1:00 pm and they did not allow it till 2:00 pm. That would not have bothered me but it was obvious that the hotel was empty. Only a few cars in the parking lot. I would have understood if the hotel was fully booked but it was so obvious it was not.

Older Hotel. City neighborhood. It has all the room convinces at agreat price. Stayed due to Huricane Beryl in Houston. Staff was great.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. My first time was enjoyable experience that I decided to return. My father and I were in town for a concert. My dad showed up before I did, and they allowed my dad to check in early without hassle. They accommodated our request to be placed on the same floor and actually placed us next to each other. Easy check in, friendly staff, and clean. I would stay here again.

Once we got off the elevator there was an “old” almost musty type smell in the hallway. Carpets should be steam cleaned or replaced. Our room was on the 4th floor. It smelled the same old musty smell. Carpet needs to be removed. Looks like the bathroom has been renovated and they just need to finish updating the rest of the room. The window was filthy. (Picture attached) The A/C worked great. This property is right beside the Interstate and there is a lot of traffic noise. Guests should also be aware there is a Community Outreach Centre located directly across the street in an old hotel that has vacated. Not the responsibility of this property but note there is a lot of foot traffic wandering around. Lots of parking available for this hotel and we did not have any issues with our vehicle in the parking lot overnight for 2 nights. Bed was firm but had a slight pillow top so has some softness. Breakfast was ok. Scrambled eggs. Sausage patties toast porridge and a waffle maker.

Area around the hotel was a little run down looking, but we felt safe walking around. It was close to where we wanted to be.

I needed to cancel with enough time and left messages to explain my reason but the person in the front desk, obviously did not forward my message, the times that I did stay, the person attending was very nice and understanding but the rooms themselves actually need a lot of repairs and attention.

Only complaint is neighboring bar with loud music till 2am.

I stayed here one night to be close enough to downtown that Uber wouldn’t be too expensive, but I also didn’t have to use valet parking or otherwise pay for parking. I felt safe, I felt like my vehicle was safe. The bed was comfortable, & I got a decent shower before I checked out. I didn’t have breakfast, but it smelled great! Staff I interacted with were professional & kind.

There is an abandoned house or two across the street on the corner where homeless people gathered. I know the hotel cannot do anything about that, don't let it scare you away, it is Austin. The houses further down the street had obviously been updated, so it's in a generally good neighborhood.

overall a nice cozy stay while i enjoyed some concerts. yummy breakfast and everything you could ask for! like a gym, indoor pool, laundry, and vending! i would 100% stay here again.
