Comfortable place to stay near airport. Good value for the money. The area near the airport was a bit "mixed". Lots of new condo/apartment construction - seems to be transitioning from a bit "sketchy" area to modern, new area. But still safe and convenient.

I left a bag of medicine in my room refrigerator. I realized it when I got to the airport 1 hour later. I called and the desk said they would check. They said they retrieved it and I called "I Left my Stuff". It arrived the next day, but it was not my medicine. I called the front desk and spoke to Diana Reyna, the manager. She located my medicine and had it at UPS within 2 hours, with a guaranteed delivery the next day. She was fantastic! She not only was answering the phone at the front desk, but had to put me on hold a couple times to answer other calls. She was cool under pressure and put me at ease immediately. She was wonderful!!! The overnight staff did retrieve my medicine from the fridge and put it in the office fridge. But somehow somebody else's medicine was sent.

The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Very noisy — could hear all the traffic. Neighbors in the suite across from us were yelling and slamming the door from midnight into the early morning. I tried calling the front desk twice but didn’t get an answer.

The room was damp and had an unpleasant odor (musty & cigarette smell) which was intensified by the stale air (there is no central AC). The shuttle was unreliable (1hr late picking us up from the airport and 25mins late dropping us off in the morning).

The Hotel and rooms were very comfortable. Very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds were really comfortable. Only thing I can say I didn't like was the tub was very slippery. If it wasn't for the hand rails she would have not been able to catch herself and have a really bad accident.

Probably isn’t an issue for most, but we were attending a mostly nocturnal event and slept through the day.

Arriving at the Candlewood Suites we were told, they have not the room I had a confirmed reservation. They also informed us, that they already transfered us to the Holiday Inn close to the Candlewood. We were not informed ahead and not asked if that is ok. Yes the Holiday Inn gave us a comfortable suite but not with the kitchenette what was a top point for me to do the reservation with Candlewood (I`m sensible to a lot of food and love to do small foods myself).

What I found interesting is, despite the air conditioner running while we were there, the moisture level of the unit was high. AC is supposed to bring the moisture level down, which didn't happen.

There is a restaurant across the parking lot so no driving needed. Our only complaint was the highway noise interrupting our sleep but that was the trade-off to be close to the airport. All of the airport hotels are located on the highway so this is not unique to Candelwood. There is a shuttle as well.

We had a room on the freeway side of the hotel and the road noise was pretty loud. We also had a refrigerator that made an obnoxious noise the first couple of nights of our stay. They did send a repair man that was able to fix it. The staff was great and we enjoyed utilizing the gym.

I loved the room. It had a small stove and even a dish washer and pots, pans and some dishes. I didn’t use them but I thought that was really nice. Definitely is something that makes me consider staying here again. It was cozy. The shower handle did break and I wasn’t able to shut the water off but I was given another room and I didn’t have to pay extra. I really enjoyed staying here and would have like to stay longer. It was a good price and the room was very nice.

Airport shuttle van had only small paper sign in window and driver made no effort to call passengers

The staff was nice and attentive to. The issue of having to go to the other building to eat was not clear to me when booking so it was disappointing. Also it was too noisy. We changed rooms but the Highway noise was too much. Will not stay here again.

Very clean, nice kitchen in room. Friendly staff. Shuttle was quick and on time, drivers friendly.
