This is our favorite place to stay in Austin as we are usually in town for a UT sporting event or concert at Moody. Very convenient and clean.
- 5/5
Perfect for comfort and a quiet place to rest from the hustle and bustle of the busy Austin campus. The location was easy to get to and the valet service was prompt with our vehicle. The staff were all very attentive and the restaurant food is excellent.
- 5/5
The room was clean. Comfortable beds. Restaurants on site had excellent service and food. Next event at the Moody center wd are staying here again... Its just a short walk away.

Location We had an alarm go off that made us evacuate the hotel, and when we asked why we were basically given a non answer. I feel the hotel could have at least told why we had to evacuate and cross the street. I understand that things happen, but at least tell us why

We absolutely loved this hotel. Travelling with a friend and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were well maintained, aesthetically pleasing and modern. All of the facilities including the pool, gym and restaurants were amazing. A short uber ride to all the main attractions. Overall a really enjoyable stay and would 100% stay here again.

The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The location was perfect for our activities and the staff were so helpful. We did not get a chance to fully enjoy all the amenities during our stay but we found the hotel to be very quiet and accommodating.

The property is going through a renovation, so it should be given some forgiveness. I had an enjoyable stay and it was lovely. There were a couple of glitches, but nothing horrible. The pool was nice, but the rooms were AMAZING! It truly was a lovely stay.

The hotel is under construction, but over the three-day Memorial Day weekend we heard next to nothing EXCEPT THE CHILD VIOLIN PLAYERS PRACTICING ACTOSS THE HALL AND NEXT DOOR IN THE PREDAWN HOURS. Yes, really. Imagine being awakened by multiple beginner violin players mixed with some Mandarin thrown in for good measure. Apparently there was a big competition in Austin today and the adjoining door between the rooms was not well insulated. The sound complaints at this hotel are no joke. Also the bathroom shower was incredibly small and the bed was uncomfortable. The hotel is halfway renovated, so make sure to ask for one of the renovated rooms. Hopefully all of these issues will be resolved. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. They just need to group people more intentionally, especially the violin players!

Great hotel, great location, front desk is helpful, courteous and professional, especially Paul. Breakfast is excellent with lots of choices. Rooms are clean and well furnished.

On the UT campus, clean, comfy and a reasonable price. Couldn't beat it.

Very nice hotel, 10 minute safe walk to the moody center. Everyone was very helpful and nice. The valet guys were wonderful with their recommendations on places to eat. Front desk was nice and quick. Parking was safe and inexpensive compared to other hotels in the area. Would definitely stay there again.

While I was notified the hotel was under construction, I did not anticipate having only one working elevator and no Ice machines available on any of the floors with the exception of floor three. I was also charged for one night of parking which I did not utilize. After calling the hotel, the parking situation was fixed, which I did appreciate.

There are renovations going on at the hotel. No customers seem to know about this renovation, due to the massive amount of customers complaining. My room had a buzz saw sound, a hammer tapping and a jack hammer thud. All at the same time. I have video. Then my toilet would not flush. All at a rate of $330 a night. Deal or No Deal? Unacceptable.
- 3/5
They are having “renovations” done but I kept hearing the elevator rattling or make this tapping sound which interrupted my sleep. It was so bad the first night as we were right next to the elevator and had to let front desk know. They ended up moving us a few doors down but the rattling was still there. i’m a light sleeper so this was not fun. Place was close to a lot of restaurants. I don’t think I would stay here again. Elevator was so noisy.

Upon arrival, we hoped to spend a little time at the pool, but it was closed for renovation. While the website did mention ongoing renovations, it did not specifically indicate that the pool would be unavailable, which was slightly disappointing. That said, the hotel is in a great location, offers a quiet and pleasant atmosphere, and is an excellent choice for anyone planning to attend an event at the Moody Center.

There was construction going on that started before 8am. Very loud. They could have given all the guests free breakfast vouchers as a courtesy for us having to deal with the noise. The pool was disappointing. Such an uninviting area. Also the breakfast buffet was disappointing. Not worth it. The breakfast tacos at the cafe were much better than what was offered at the restaurant.

I booked a room with a view of the UT tower, which was nice, but I was not told that the University is conducting 24-hour construction next to the building (the side with the UT tower view). If you are booking for the next year or so, make sure to get a room in the middle not near the tower side because the construction and related noise goes on all through the night. Separate from that the hotel was fine.

Room and property was clean as usual, we have stayed here 4 times. Expedia folks don’t count on room upgrade. I know this is a nice perk, but I know at checkout none are available even though you can see the rooms available in the web. We got the tickets for the free drinks although we couldn’t use as the bar closed early with no prior notice or signage posted. We received the probation a few days early, but with not enough time to book another place. The location is great for shows at the Moody Center.

For $500/night I’d expect complimentary coffee and water at minimum and really should include breakfast. Even Comfort Inn offers free bottles of water these days, but this place has a smart water bottle in the room with a price tag of $5. There is just one small coffee stand near the lobby where we had to wait 15 minutes for a drip coffee. Common areas and grounds are nice but rooms are desperately in need of updating.

Great hotel, easy walk to the Moody center and the capital building, rooms were clean and hotel staff were great. Only issue was the restaurant down stairs. The food took forever to get to us and they were not busy, the food was not great, and the staff were dismissive. Very disappointing considering we loved everything else about the place.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel, only downside was noise from next door room.
- 5/5
Excellent customer service
- 5/5
Very clean. Awesome staff!
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Will definitely miss that tower view.

Amazing visit
- 5/5
Convenient to moody center
- 5/5
Perfect place to stay for longhorn families!
- 4/5
Convenient to UT Austin. Gabriel’s restaurant Med bowl with grilled shrimp..Outstanding!! The hotel walls I’m assuming thin walls..you can hear other people and cleaning services (grateful) but start very early. So if you’re waking up early..great place. And if you’re wanting rest and you’re a light sleeper like me take ear plugs..I forgot mine. They gave me an extension of 1 hour because I was waiting for my son from Camp Texas. Overall I would recommend this hotel

Very clean and staff were very nice!
- 4/5
Beautiful property. Will come back and try to enjoy the area and the amenities.
- 5/5
Love the convenience and quiet luxury of this hotel! Never a bad experience—amazing! The food options are great and so close to other restaurants. Great night sleep and walking distance to all things UT!!
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Staff very friendly and the rooms very modern and comfortable. There is a building being constructed on the Tower view, so its not as nice as the courtyard view.
- 5/5
Breakfast was delicious
- 5/5
Great hotel.
- 5/5
Easy, secure self-parking in garage at the hotel. Quiet, cool, clean hotel with everything we needed. Bed was great. Location basically on UT campus could not be improved upon. We walked everywhere from here: all over campus, Guadalupe, even to the capitol (1/2 mile).
- 5/5
We absolutely love this hotel. It is reasonably priced, very clean, actually smells great, and has excellent food.
- 4/5
It was close to Moody center, which made it convenient to attend concert and stay overnight.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay. This property was beautiful and the staff was amazing.
- 3/5
Our room was right next to the construction site. Due to the loud noise because of construction, I was unable to work or read in my room. In fact, there were no private areas to work in this hotel.
- 5/5
We loved it. The staff was super helpful, and the hotel was so clean and well maintained.
- 4/5
Property was in a great location close to UT and within walking distance to shopping/dining. Staff was wonderful!
- 5/5
This is our 4th time staying there. Always convenient when you have things to do at UT. We didn't get the VIP perk this time for some reasons. Also there are construction activities happening next to the hotel as it is the case throughout the city these days. So can be annoying particularly if you use the parking garage or the room is located on that side of the building. Other than that our stay was as usual great. Friendly staff and housekeeping on point.
- 5/5
Love it!!!
- 5/5
This was an amazing stay. The hotel is in good location relatively to downtown. The room was very well maintained and clean; the staff was also very helpful and friendly. I would definitely book this hotel again.
- 5/5
Excellent staff, very clean and modern rooms! Close to shops and UT!
- 5/5
Good all around hotel. Well maintained. Quality bedding and nice and spacious room. Will stay again.
- 5/5
It was an amazing experience especially for my daughter who was at The University of Texas' preview date. The walking distances weren’t far, accommodations were pristine and breakfast was excellent.
- 4/5
Parking was expensive 21 dollars, no complimentary breakfast, no complimentary water bottles in the room.
- 5/5
This is my new go-to hotel in Austin.
- 5/5
This is one of the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. Friendly, helpful and kind staff. Beautiful hotel with lots of areas to sit and relax. The room was great. Had a big balcony, comfortable bed and lots of amenities (including requested ones). Food was great at Gabriel’s and room service was excellent. I got two free cocktail drinks thanks to my Gold status with Expedia. Cute spirit store selling UT Austin merchandise. No complaints at all. Just a lovely hotel stay. Enjoyed the pool, too.
- 4/5
Very nice property. Polite staff. I would have given 5 stars all around except the AC was difficult to get the appropriate temp to be comfortable. Was either too cold or too warm.
- 5/5
Fantastic stay at this hotel. Lovely property and the staff were very friendly.
- 5/5
Maybe some more customer friendly training is needed for them.
- 1/5
Staff at front desk Ariana was super nice. The rest of the staff were so rude and we even got kicked out early bc of a noise complaint when we weren’t loud. We also got kicked out bc we were smoking ? Then they switched it to “ we smelled like smoke , we had asked what type of smoke bc we weren’t smoking they said just smoke. They were looking for something to kick us out . Please do not come here they were so unprofessional and so rude
- 4/5
Besides that, the hotel was nice, clean and a good value. It is at the base of University of Texas and is walking distance for the Texas State Museum and Lyndon B. Johnson library (less than a mile).
- 4/5
Levels very confusing
- 4/5
All good. We know the area well and it's the best hotel in the walkable area. a few little notes: 1. our room had only one glass in the bathroom and no beverage glasses, water or wine, in the bedroom so we had to have more sent. 2. the closet doors feel cheap and rattled when opened so I couldn't get dressed and out early while my wife slept the noise woke her. and 3. I forgot about a drink perk for two people until I saw this survey. It was mentioned on the ad for the booking but no one ever asked me how to or where to claim it. We did enjoy the pool, enjoy dinner with our granddaughter at Gabriels and enjoyed the view of the Tower from our room.
- 2/5
Good location for UT but bedding was terrible. Like paper. Better hotels are right down the street.
- 5/5
Beautiful experience!

Big roomy clean
- 5/5
One of the nicest business hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The facility is beautiful, it’s quiet and BIG PERK it has real restaurants! Their breakfast was great, choice of menu cooked to order or buffet. Really tired of “free buffet” breakfast and junk food hanging on the wall. Best sea bass I’ve ever had.
- 4/5
Great location if attending concert at Moody Center. Onsite food was good.
- 5/5
It was a really nice stay - super convenient to many things.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel with excellent dining and drink options!
- 5/5
Wonderful stay! Love how close it is to Moody Center for the concert! And great views of UT campus.
- 5/5
Hotel staff are always cordial, courteous and helpful. The hotel is clean throughout, very conveniently located, and definitely worth a visit.
- 5/5
Great hotel on campus. Got a corner room overlooking the tower!

The road leading up to the parking garage is under construction. Their parking system is great tho
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Conveniently located by UT
- 5/5
Great stay and close to the Moody Center. There is construction ongoing but it did not affect out stay.
- 5/5
Great service and room. We enjoyed it. One thing, you can hear everything outside your door. This was not an issue for us because we go to sleep late. Love the ambiance and serenity of this hotel.
- 5/5
Great staff and location
- 5/5
Location to campus
- 5/5
We ate in both restaurants. The Carillon service at breakfast is good, not great. The coffee there is ordinary at best. The breakfast buffet is good, not great. Hot items were not very hot. Would be nice to mix it up day-to-day. The wait staff service was so-so, not great. In three days, nobody offerred to refill our coffees. The fruit table is very good. Gabriel's is outstanding. Good food, excellent, attentive service, nice place to eat and sit.
- 5/5
We came to Austin to see a concert at the Moody Center. The hotel was easy walking distance to the venue and had great views of the UT campus. The breakfast buffet had great variety and was definitely worth the price.
- 5/5
Everything is great! I’ll stay here again!
- 5/5
Amazing location and convience for anything related to the UT campus and events.

Fabulous!

It was very convenient to attend the event that we walked to from the location. Only reason I would stay there. Felt like other rooms were nicer but Expedia rooms were not

The AT&T Hotel & Conference Center is a great hotel for anyone heading out to the Moody Center.
- 5/5
Spent our anniversary weekend here and loved that we didn’t have to leave the room for breakfast. Love how close the hotel is to Longhorn sports and Guadalupe St. Super comfy bed and pillows and great towels.
- 5/5
Very comfortable and clean
- 5/5
Exactly where we wanted to be.
- 5/5
Great place

Great!
- 5/5
Great customer service. Hotel is convenient to all athletic venues. They may want to fix the speaker system in the bar area🙂
- 5/5
This was the first time for us at this hotel, and we were not disappointed. Love the restaurants and the closeness to campus as we were visiting our niece who attends UT. No complaints whatsoever.
- 5/5
Right on campus. Perfect
- 5/5
I love staying at the ATT CONVENTION HOTEL. It has great location. The hotel is very nice. The restaurants are good and reasonably priced. The rooms are quite large and comfortable and the personnel is extremely polite and nice.
- 5/5
I am a female business traveler and this had every detail I look for in a hotel...absolutely excellent. Only drawback...nothing much for food and beverage if you arrive late night! But really a perfect experience other than that!
