I told him what had happened and he went to his computer and said “oh your listing was from a third party and we don’t honor those requests. So we just put you in what ever room we wanted to. If you want your requests honored you need to call and book your reservation directly with us and not a third party like Booking.com. Also you had to push a buzzer at the front door to be let in. I asked is this a bad area and she said yes and we need it for security.

My experience was great, nice, clean even though they’re renovating. Staff was very friendly especially the breakfast lady.

I liked the fact that they had a room for us at the last minute. I wasn't going to stay here since I had a previous reservation and didn't make it but my son wanted to stay here, so here we came. The lady who worked breakfast, I apologize can't remember her name but she was very nice and treated us like family. We always enjoy her when we stay, when she's working. They were remodeling. It was things everywhere, but the quality of the rooms for Fairfield was great. They could have had more options for breakfast.

Hotels should be forced to add a banner that says ‘under renovation’. I know most hotels would get 0 bookings, but instead the hotels and Expedia deceive guests about the nature of their stays which is almost always based on reviews that happened when there were no renovations going on. You can include in the banner renovation hours and which floors are not affected. And explain you’re charging 75% of normal and comparable rates. What you should never do is lie. I stay in Augusta 4-5 times a year, and have stayed in this hotel many times but I won’t go back now. Very disappointing. Expedia should penalize bad actors like this.

The staff is really nice here, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. However, we were not notified in advance that the hotel is under renovation, so the hallways, elevators, lobby and the lobby seating were COVERED in drywall bits, construction dust, and debris! Like they aren't even making an effort to clean up at end of day. Upstairs the hallways were dusty, phones were unplugged, workers gloves were tossed around. The normal breakfast area is closed, and a smaller area was set up for breakfast, which IS cleaned, and worked fine (except more limited food options). It was okay for our one night stay, but would have been unpleasant for a multi-night stay. The pictures shown on the website are inaccurate.

There were containers with equipment scattered all over the parking lot and not contained to only a single area of the parking lot. This made it extremely hard to park without the fear of my car being damaged by the construction crew. The waste from the construction looked like it was managed by children. Debris missed the large container and was left on the ground outside the container to blow around in the wind and for guests to be in danger of tripping and falling from this debris. The containers were placed in the parking lot with no barriers or warning tape to help keep the guests away from danger. This is not solely the management responsibility it is shared with the contractor.

Breakfast did not start until 7:00 a.m. There were only three washcloths and towels. With two people in the room, morning and evening showers, we did not have enough towels and washcloths

Check-in was easy. The room was small but comfortable. The breakfast was available and decent. They had many options.

The hotel overall was mostly fine, clean, etc, but at night it was difficult to sleep because our room was humid and wouldn't dry out, and noise from load cars/trucks on the road kept us up. Make sure to request a room on the opposite side of the main road.

This is my go to for coming to Augusta that has good rates without having to worry about bedbugs unlike other hotel properties near there.

It was not nearly as nice as other Fairfield Inn & Suites I'd previously resided in.

Very please with breakfast The first I checked into around 235am was either someone room or they got to reclean the bathroom. Second was clean I however the remote didn't work, they replaced still didn't, I was the TV need to be placed but couldn't until Monday, I was over it once the iron leaked dirt water all over my clean outfit. Quick visit to see a friend dealing with Cancer! Grateful the room was clean. But never again will I choice fairfield. Will upload and share video if needed.

The bathroom's vanity light was not working...the tub's faucet was loose and the tub was filling with water as I attempted to shower. The heating and air unit ran so loud it was hard to sleep.

This hotel is fantastic! Very friendly and helpful front desk, comfortable bed and clean room. There was a slight smell of cigarette smoke in the room which I notified the front desk about. Wasnt enough to bother me but wanted to make sure it wasnt from me. Great breakfast! Would stay here again!

Such a sweet staff! Breakfast was delicious and areas was clean, welcoming, and pleasant. Stores are not far from hotel its in the middle of everything. Wifi was great-- really nice visit.

We stayed for 3 nights and our room was never cleaned. Every morning we were told by managment that it would be cleaned. We would take the "Do Not Disturb" sign down and leave around 10a and return at 10p to an unclean room. Other than that the hotel was clean and had friendly staff.

The one reason we booked this hotel was because of the indoor pool for my kids. But upon arrival we were told that it was closed. So we wasted 2 nights for.nothing.

The staff was great but the quality of the room wasnt. My sister & i left & checked in at the Hilton across the way for the sane price. We will not return to the Fairfield next year or any time visiting our mother in Augusta.

The room was nice, and clean. The staff went above and beyond. Upon checking in I was greeted in a super friendly manner. I had an issue with the shower. Within the hour, Jerrell from the maintenance team fixed the spout. He was super efficient, and exceptionally nice. I was very impressed.

I liked the property from the moment I checked in. Warm cookies at the front desk and Ashley checked us in immediately. Ashley was very friendly, smiling and personable. Room was great with large bath towels, comfortable bed and spacious. Only took us 15 minutes to drive downtown for some great food and happy hours.

Kids of a certain age may think it’s funny to leave a gross bathroom. But over all this is a really good property with very comfy mattresses and friendly staff. Breakfast was good too. Except the coffee. That might need an upgrade. I would definitely stay here again.

However, I requested for house keeping on two occasions with the front desk (in person and on the phone) but never did receive any, I even spoke with house keeping as I was leaving the room and was assured they’d take care of it. Nada! Upon checkout I mentioned it and was told it was probably a new person at the desk and the info didn’t get put in the computer. As far as the housekeeping person I spoke with, he was just the guy that was responsible for stripping the bedsheets and not the actual housekeeper for my room. In other words it was my fault for not getting the service I requested because I didn’t actually ask the correct person. Up until that moment I had planned on staying there because I am traveling to Augusta next month, but am changing my plans to the hotel across the street.

The shower water was lukewarm every time I showered. There was an unannounced fire alarm going off for 20 minutes. I wasn’t notified that this would be happening. Hotel room was decent. Promised workout room was 82 degrees and smelled funky. When I asked the front desk to check on the AC, I got the impression that they didn't care. True to their word, they didn't bother to fix it. So I was stuck with all work and no workouts, which stinks when you're training or just wanna be healthy.

I would say the people were very nice, customer service great. I was disappointed that my room was not serviced at all for the 3-night stay. I was told housekeeping does not service every day understood, but not at all in 3 nights, 4 days unacceptable.

Room temperature controla would not work. AC turned on every now and then. Hot water in sink was non existent. Hot water in shower was extremely HOT, no in between. Front desk said something about motion sensor for room temperature which sounded like just an excuse

The staff was extremely nice and personable! The refrigerator in my room wasn’t exactly working properly however, the entire stay was the best.

Really the only negative was that staff didn't appear to be following the Covid protocols that were listed on a large sign in the lobby. We only saw one staff member wearing a mask (and thankfully she was the one working the breakfast area!). Staff and guests alike were unmasked, which was concerning with Omicron spreading like wildfire. We could not see that there was hand sanitizer anywhere near the breakfast area. I would probably stay here again, but would hope next time to see better Covid precautions.

Courteous staff, cleanliness and awesome amenities! I truly enjoyed my stay!!

To me, the overall design of the lobby, dining area and hotel decor was wonderful. The room and bathroom were standard and very nice, but entering the hotel, is just lovely and modern!

The hotel itself was nice. The 24hr gym was definitely why we decided to make reservations. The breakfast was a nice addition. The room & bathroom was a nice size for a couple. I would definitely stay there again.

Every thing was wonderful!! The hotel was clean from the moment I entered the building. The room was very spacious and super clean! The bed slept wonderful. The breakfast was great!! The staff was amazing and very caring!! I will most definitely return. By far, one of the best hotels, I have stayed in, in a long time!! I am a travel advisor, and I will be recommending this hotel!! Thank you all and continue doing an amazing jon!!

A very good stay from check in to check out. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.

Front desk clerk was very friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was ready promptly at 6am.
