Econo Lodge Augusta West near Fort Gordon

Not recommended and not in a good area and very loud at night with people hanging out in the parking lot

This is the best hotel in Augusta GA to me!!.. they always accommodate my needs and if I have any issues or questions the staff always quickly responds and resolves with a smile!!!.. this by far is the BEST ECONO LODGE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!!.. (this is why I always come to this particular one when I'm in town)!!!!!!

The bed was comfortable, though. (The bedding was clean and no signs of bugs, I checked after all of everything else)

The property was clean did appear to be an older property so you could smell where it may have been a smoking facility at one point but no longer. The TV was out by no fault of the facility and they tried their best to get it taken care of and they even moved me to another room in case it was my room TV. The gentleman that helped was very kind and polite. I’d recommend this facility if your looking for an inexpensive stay over for sure.

the room was fine for my short stay overall, but the air conditioner is so loud its impossible to sleep with it on, and it’s georgia so it’s way to hot to sleep with it off. Also the bathroom tile was cracked so bad and was crunching and sliding under my feet. The towel smelled strongly of bleach. But it was private and affordable! i would stay here again in a pinch, the staff are lovely.

I was avle to look past the leaky shower, the soap bar that was lfet in the toilet, the random pill left behind the noght stand, and toys left behind... but i could not get past allowing other guests physically fighting, throwing things, cussing for hours even after i adderessed it with the front desk. Not only did did it wake us up at early hours (starting aroudn 3:30 am) but I felt scared to leave my room beause one of the gentleman was going in and put of the room. A/c worked great!

I paid for a jacuzzi in my room. Which knobs was broken. Everything else was perfect so I kept the room.

Nothing How careless the worker was when i informed him how I don’t think it was ok to place my children and I in a roof full of mold and mildew . Literally mildew all over the shower curtain . The wall in the bathroom was peeling due to water damage. It smelled terrible my son’s asthma flared up so bad I’m dealing with sickness now .

Easy access to Doctors Hospital. Very quiet. Most guests are doing construction or other jobs so they are in bed early and usually out from the hotel and parking lot by 7am. Nice clean room and common areas.

The check-in was a bit of a hassle, as they had some computer problem. On the first night the person next door to me start blaring music at 4 AM, and finslly left at 6 AM. At the end of my first day I took a cold shower, because I couldn't find a way to make the water warm. Overall, disappointing.

The checkin was smooth and the manger was pleasant. However, the elevator and the hallway on the 3rd floor smelled of cat urine (which was ironic as this was not a pet friendly hotel). The air conditioner worked great but the bead was hard as a rock and there was a dead cockroach in our bathroom.

We were placed directly beside the ice maker and it was noisy which caused my support animal some distress. The nightly rate almost doubled for our last night due to some event that was happening locally.

The staff was kind but the room was very rough. The floor of the bathroom was cracked and there were small bugs crawling on it that would scurry into cracks when the light turned on. The AC unit was falling apart but still put out cold air. The hotel really needs a major face lift.

Spend your money literally anywhere else.. a happy nice face only gets you so far.. they were very nice, but if you dont clean your rooms AT ALL, you dont get a good review. They dont vacuum, change sheets, or wipe ANY table tops between customers

When we asked he said that people keep stealing them so he had no Irons Available. Thirdly the blow dryer that is mounted by the bathroom sink was bashed and broken when we arrived. The TV in the room didn’t work at first so they have us a remote when we checked in and had to keep replacing until TV cut on. Total stay was terrible. I would not recommend.

The room was very nice and we did have a some what relaxing night. We couldnt fivhre out how to get the shower to turn on at first, check in was easy and the man was very nice. The only complaint i have is the people either above or behind us were loud and banging Till around midnight. And i had to hop out the jetted tub which is the main reason i got the room pretty quickly and reshower due to the fact of when the jets turned on a bunch of brown flakes blew into my clean water.

The room was comfortable but not the cleanest. I found roaches in the room and the carpet was clearly dirty. There is a weird smell in the hotel and poor ventilation. It is closed to gate 1 of fort Gordon which is very convenient. The pictures look much better than the room itself. I will say the staff is super friendly and very welcoming.

Noisy bed and noisy walls. The first night, I couldn’t sleep because it sounded like some idiot decided to play basketball all night in the room right above me. I complained to the front desk at about 4am. He said he didn’t hear anything, but would report it to the manager. It got better, but it was still quite noisy

There is NO breakfast. Also, the rooms did not even have a working shower during my stay. The front desk owners also are liars and thieves.

I wasn't able to stay at this hotel due to a guest breaking the hot tub and not telling the staff prior to leaving. When I arrived to check in the manager explained everything and was extremely apologetic. He cancelled my reservation for me and I was not charged. We will be trying them again on our next trip to Augusta.

The people that run the place are so friendly and kind and would do anything possible to make your stay happy. It convenient and located near everything that you need. The beds are comfortable and everyone here is wonderful.

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. When I checked in, I was asked for my ID. They never gave it back and when I called to have them mail it, they lied and said it was mailed. Called again a week later and was lied to again saying they would mail it. Called the next day to confirm it was mailed and they just hang up on me when I tell them my name and why I’m calling.

NOISY, NO HOT WATER, WATER ON FLOOR IN CLQSET WHERE I PUT MY LUGGAGE, POOR LIGHTING IN ROOM JUST AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE

Very limited parking. The blow-dryer hadn't been wiped off in a long time. The shower curtain didn't prevent water from getting all over the floor.

My stay was fairly decent. I got two rooms and had trouble with the tvs in both rooms one room went the whole weekend with no tv; the other had a really hard time watching a whole movie or show through ;both rooms were supposed to be hot tub rooms but the hot tubs didn't even work properly i am VERY disappointed for these two simple reasons. Had i know any of these problems would have happened i would either got rooms with no hot tubs at all or simply went somewhere else really defeated the purpose honestly. Also someone wrote some disgusting things on the back of our car and we REALLY didn’t appreciate that ! As well as i picked the pay at location option and i was a little behind schedule for check in but my card was trying to be charge before i even made it to location which again something i did not appreciate thats why picked pay at location!

Well oh well this hotel has been one of my greatest stays by far. My friend Manny in the front desk was all about service and how he can provide a good stay/visit. Random fact I was walking to my room a little hungry and I got stopped by my boy Manny and offered some Indian food of his plate one of the most realest interactions I’ve had. The hotel was amazing and you get what you pay for so based on my experience I believe it’s the best place to stay in Augusta GA.

Everything we great except one thing. We got a room with a jacuzzi tub and the water came out rusty. The bed and bathroom were clean. It was quiet. Nice bed. Had a TV. The promote wasn't paired but the front dest fixed it quickly. The shower was great. We had no other issue at all other than the jacuzzi but that could have been a number of issues honestly. I was impressed otherwise.

This was one of the worst experiences i ever had in my life. The front desk would not help me. They did not repair my tv, then they asked me to check out after i complained. They knew individuals had little to no options due to the hurricane, so they took advantage of us.

Floor was disgusting and sticky. Parking situation was horrible. Didn’t even pull back the bed spread. Slept on top of everything with our own blanket.

Was ok for what I needed as a local affected by hurricane Helene. Price reasonable excellent water pressure for warm shower no local tv but found a movie breakfast good all left was cereal and waffles definitely not a fancy nice hotel but did the job for 1 night stay with power and ac. A bit noisy trying to sleep

Doing the best they could considering the age Of the building, and that they were inundated with disaster, relief crews.

This was a great place to stay, staff is friendly, rooms are clean and it includes breakfast.

I prepaid , so why is it necessary to keep a copy of my license even after asking for that copy on checking out. No complaints on breakfast. The room service is little to none. My bath cloths were torn and dirty, no one come around for trash. Let’s say you get what you pay for! Checked out earlier than scheduled. I feel I was generous on ratings

The parking lot was small

It was clean smells fresh and rooms are in good condition .. nice beds and clean bathrooms , staff was very nice and friendly and willing to help, Breakfast was not bad they have a lot of options ..we had a good stay

My first assigned room had mold all on the Curtain Floor and furniture. Smell very bad. They switched me to another room which still smell bad but was a lot cleaner, although the sheets had stains. The toilet seat was very dirty. The staff was Accommodating to the best of their ability to clean that room and change out only the fitted sheet. (thankfully, I brought my own blanket). The hot tub didn’t have hot water it was coming out warm. Overall, this is an older property and needs a total makeover. They could be cleaner.

Front desk clerk and manager Manish are very kind and friendly. The overall property is not well maintained and needs a lot of work.
