The whole hotel was immaculate, and the one thing, the desk chair, that broke while we were there was replaced within 10mins. All the staff were wonderful, courteous, understanding and very helpful. The variety of food at the breakfast buffet was great. Which explains that there are not fridges or microwaves in room. The pool was good, but could use more towels. No jacuzzi even though advertised. The water was warm enough to not miss the jacuzzi. A well kept outdoor area. We will return again.

I did not like that the room did not have a fridge. We loved that fact that you can get warm cookies whenever you want. That was a plus with my family.

Staff was awesome After check-in, we made it to the room. The fridge had been previously left open. It was frozen over. Had to call for me to replace it 20 minutes after that the toilet had leaked into the room where the wax rink and bust took 2 1/half hours to get put into a downgraded room from what we had already paid no refund was offered then the next morning we get woken up by maintenance saying we needed to change rooms for the third time due to a leak somewhere around the floor in room that we were on

It’s listed it has a hot tub, but it does not. It’s filled in with dirt and plants. Outside pool closed for our stay. Carpet was very dirty. The first room had a leak going down the wall and into the carpet. Fridge did not work. No cold water in the room. Put us in another room and it was ok, no fridge. The only ice machine working was on the 5th floor. It states free bkfst, but it is not. You have to pay for it.

Breakfast is Top Notch!! It’s country home style too! The staff is sweet with pure southern hospitality! Also, the Bar tender makes pretty good martini lemon drops! Indoor pool was so refreshing! I also love that it’s so quiet and clean!

everything about this hotel is a 10/10! From the hotel itself, the staff and the room was nice and friendly and quiet and just overall amazing. they offer fresh baked cookies and waters. if you need a nice getaway this is it right here.

Booked room and it was a king suite. The room had rust in the bathroom area. The shower, whirlpool tub, and refrigerator were leaking. Cold water faucet wouldn't turn on, toilet was not secured to floor, hole in wall where someone sealed with paper. Lamps leaning and room very outdated. This was a one-night stay. We arrived and until we departed and then return near bedtime. SMH!

Unfortunately, our room (specifically Room 234) was very disappointing and should honestly not be reserved until repairs are completed. The wall in the room appeared to be only half painted, and there was dried paint all over the baseboards. The bathroom amenities were rusted, and you could clearly see the rust when surfaces were wiped down. The bathtub also did not drain properly, leaving us standing in water while showering. In one area of the room, it looked like the sheetrock/seam in the wall was peeling back as well. There was also an iron provided in the room, but no ironing board available. To make matters worse, the room view overlooked a wall and four HVAC units. We did report all of these concerns to the front desk. The staff was apologetic and initially offered us two breakfast coupons for the Andrew Restaurant, but unfortunately we were unable to make breakfast. At checkout, we were then offered hotel points as compensation. Again, the customer service was excellent, but the condition of Room 234 did not match the overall appearance and quality presented by the hotel lobby and staff.

The staff members were all polite and helpful; we had a snafu on checking in, as one of our rooms was not made up. We were able to get another room close by immediately. One quirky thing we noticed was that the door going into the bathroom hit the toilet when opened. Overall, the stay was okay.

Staff was helpful at check in. Staff at the bar were friendly and helpful with suggestions. The food from the bar was okay, chicken wings were delicious! The other appetizers were not good at all. The jacuzzi tub has seen its better days, needless to say we didn't use it. Molding in the bathroom was coming off the wall. The one light in the bedroom didn't work. There were stains on the cushions, carpet was ripped up in places. I could go on, but there is only so much space.

We were a Mason and Eastern Star Conference this weekend 4/24 -4/26 . The hotel was dirty, the restaurants where closed so we had to find food which was very inconvenient. We chose the location for the adminities but the everything was overpriced for our large group. The cookies were good and warm though

One of the best hotel accommodations of my 70 years of experience. The beds were extremely comfortable. The staff and personnel were outstanding and accommodating. The area was safe and secure, and the amenities were nice. Variety and accessibility of shopping and restaurants was a definite plus. I highly recommend.

Parking was safe. Room was clean but water on the bathroom floor. Staff were polite. On the purchase of Room, I also purchased breakfast but wasn’t given a ticket and they were trying to make me pay for breakfast again that morning so make sure you get your ticket.

Be aware that even if you pay in full for your reservation if you are going to be later than 3:00 you need to call the hotel or they will cancel your reservation. My room was dirty with garbage everywhere. The only thing nice is the pool. There is no hot tub. Also there is no mini fridge. I had to call down and have them come vacuum atleast.

I have stayed in numerous Doubletree hotels. A star rating is usually a three so this one intrigued me being a four. I thought it would be really nice and luxurious. Turns out it’s an old Sheridan rundown amenities are outdated, the room with poorly lid, the bathroom was not up to Doubletree standards with mold, possibly. I have learned that the name no longer means anything in a hotel except for the Embassy suites. This is the second Doubletree that I’ve stayed in. That had a three star or better rating that was not even close. The first one was in Gilbert, Arizona an old Motel 6 being renovated. If Doubletree wants to keep that name recognition of quality, I hope they will strive for excellence and not just live off of their name.

Everything! I absolutely recommend staying here! The room was clean! The beds slept amazingly! The food from the bar and the breakfast buffet was sooo delicious!!! The heated indoor pool felt so good, and I had a great time playing with my grandson!! I liked everything!

The hotel is very outdated. Not a 4 star hotel by far. Bugs in the closet. Had to change rooms. Other room wasnt much better. Nearly impossible to open and close the water in the bathroom. Shaggy elevators. This place needs a revamp asap. Will not stay there again.

There was a lot of trash and broken glass in parking lot. My room still had the previous guests dirty towels in bathroom. The carpet was pretty stained. I searched expedia for a hot tub and indoor pool but after checking in I learned the hot tub had been removed and the indoor pool was too cold to swim in. The staff was very friendly, the room was quiet, and beds were comfy.

We was moved to another room and we left some things in the other room. We went back it was gone. Also we paid for breakfast and we couldn’t get breakfast because the cooks wasn’t able to come in. We wasn’t offered a refund.

SPOILER ALERT: We enjoyed our 3-night stay, and would easily stay here again. The hotel is very good for the most part. The room we had was quite adequate, but the bathroom is a bit small. The beds were comfortable. We did not have any noise coming from the adjoining room. The hot breakfast buffet was better than most hotels continental breakfast, ALL of the employees were very accommodating and extra nice! - The Bar serves food, and the front desk gives big, warm cookies to guests upon check-in. The hotel is starting to look like it could use a deeper cleaning, or a remodel. The bathroom and the carpet in our room could benefit from an upgrade. Everything was adequate for us, and we were comfortable staying here,...but a little extra "attention" or an occasional enhanced cleaning would go a long way.

it’s location to restaurants and the fact that it has an onsite restaurant and bar it can use a renovation. I have stayed there over the years even hosted events such as my daughter’s 13th birthday slumber party. The room is the exact same and she is 26 years old. I pulled out photos just to make sure and yes it was spot on no changes . Also I was loaded with taxes $29 a night in tax . State local occupancy and amenity fee

It was a nice stay and the WIFI worked great and the staff was great/ Nothing about the hotel but my friend got a migraine and couldn't come. Big bummer. Also I have to find out wht I suddenly from the Netherlands since that one European country I've never been too but would love to bisit. But I think that's a booking.com issue.

Bathroom is falling apart. No shuttle to airport as listed. Only reason I really booked there was the convenience of the shuttle and where I needed to be. No special perks for diamond members offered. Key had to be programmed 3 separate occasions.

This building reminds me of a grand actress who no longer looks good due to age. I pity management because this requires a big investment and it does not look to have enough cash flow to afford it. Hilton property inspectors should consider unflagging this property as it gives a very bad name to the brand

I paid for my room online someone called and texted me from the hotel to ask if i needed anything told them ice bucket with ice in my room get there no ice in my bucket room looks old carpet was coming up in my room whirlpool tub was stained badly i ordered room service they still wanted to charge me a few just to bring the food up to my room i never stayed at a hotel where they charged me to bring food to my room im staying at there place of business also my food was not good no season on the food at all no taste my chicken was so burned over cooked i called twice i never got a answer went down stairs to tell front desk attendant all he said was sorry no one tried to accommodate me i will never stay there again

Pool was heated, they gave us free cookies upon arrival. Staff was super nice and helpful. The bed was SUPER comfy. They had a smart tv so I could watch whatever I wanted. Really good experience!

The employees were very friendly and couldn't have been more accomodating. However, when checking out they asked for payment for the room - I have now double payed and am still waiting for a refund. The hotel room itself was...disgusting. It was dirty with hair and dirt on the floor in the bathroom. The ceiling plaster in the shower was falling down. The entry light didn't work so would walk into the room in the dark. Housekeeping came by only once during the 4 days there. Many dogs/pets were there during my stay and my room must of had animals previously because allergies kicked in. Overall, this is not the kind of hotel I have come to expect from Hilton - do better!

The employees were very friendly and couldn't have been more accomodating. However, when checking out they asked for payment for the room - I have now double payed and am still waiting for a refund. The hotel room itself was...disgusting. It was dirty with hair and dirt on the floor in the bathroom. The ceiling plaster in the shower was falling down. The entry light didn't work so would walk into the room in the dark. Housekeeping came by only once during the 4 days there. This is a hotel that has obviously been there a while, but has been well-maintained and cared for. The staff were friendly, helpful, and prompt. We were the only ones scheduled for an airport shuttle that day, apparently, but the driver was on-time and courteous at 4am.

They service was wonderful. Jeffrey was just awesome. Now the bathroom in my room well that is something else. Spiders coming out of the sink is a hard no. The caulking around the tub needs re-done. The wall right outside the elevator on the 4th floor needs to be done. You have black mold growing there. Also please fix your elevators. That is kinda scary. Food in restaurant is awful. I went to breakfast at 9am and it had to be the same food that was put out at 6am! Everything was cold, hard and dried out. I told the manager and she said “sorry”, shrugged her shoulders and walked away! If costs $16 for that food we couldn’t eat

Maybe perhaps if you tore the building down started all brand new maybe that’ll get rid of the 4 inch roaches that were crawling around in there. The curtains in the room was dirty. there were roaches in the room. It was just not a nice place to stay. The staff was friendly. That’s about all the positive I can give it.

I love the convenience of my room being across from the ice and vending. And the friendliness of the front desk personnel when I check in. My only dislike was the pool wasn’t warm enough. I thought there was a hot tub in the hotel 😞

My stay was three nights and had a room on the 1st floor. I didn’t like the fact that my window looked out into a hallway, so my curtains were closed all the time. I felt like I was in a closet. Not the best for a claustrophobic person.

This hotel is very dated and not as described on the Hotels.com app. When we first walked in, they said they had two pools that we could enjoy, but the outdoor pool was empty. Hotels.com said it had a hot tub when we got there it was filled in with plants, but still had a sign on the wall, talking about the whirlpool. Our room was clean but very dated. The bathroom faucets hardly turned, and there were stains all over the floor. Breakfast was very good which they did give us for free since we couldn’t use the pool or the hot tub as advertised.

They put energy into making the public areas look beautiful, given the impression that it’s a more upscale luxurious hotel. But there’s nothing special about the rooms.There is no hot tub despite saying areas on Expedia. Apparently it’s been that way for a long time. The breakfast is overpriced ($11 at booking or $16 onsite) and no better than the typical free breakfast at any $100 night hotel

Additionally, the toilet paper was left on top of the roller instead of being properly placed. These small details may seem minor, but they contribute to an overall feeling of neglect in terms of cleanliness and attention to guest comfort. While I appreciate the convenience of a short stay, I expected a better level of cleanliness and care. I hope the hotel can address these issues for future guests.

The hotel was nice, but definitely needs updating. The nobs on the heater were broken and taped over top. There was no hot water in the bathroom sink. Almost all hotels have fridges and microwaves in the now, but not this one. We couldn't cool or heat our leftovers. The staff was great. I would still stay there again.

I had a great stay this past weekend! Only one thing I did not care for was hearing the door close from my room on the 2nd floor, a door silencer should be installed so no one can hear the door slam. Other then that would I definitely book again my next visit to Augusta !

Very nice hotel. Lobby is beautiful. Rooms - so, so. No mini refrigerator - almost standard these days. They had updated to include charging ports for newer I-phones. Coffee maker - old. Creamer was spoiled.

Rather dated, unclean, and uncomfortable. Fabric headboard was stained with random stains, Tech was far behind times, elevator and our room smelled of weed. Soap bottle fell off wall when trying to use. Curtains came off track while trying to close. No better than but cost more than a budget hotel. Would never stay here again. We ended up leaving a day early just because of our disappointment in the hotel.

Unable to travel due to Hurricane Helene. I’m a Deputy Sheriff in Columbia, SC and we were put on alert Thursday 9-26-24. I tried to cancel directly with the hotel and with Expedia. If I’m charged due to an act of God, I will never utilize this service again. Hopefully someone will respond to me. TIA

This stay was a disaster. Rooms were not clean. Halls had a smell of wet sour carpet. Hotel is rater 4stars but id give it 2 starts at best. How.can a room have trash in the trash can and on the floor behind the trash can. Declined the first room and the second was no better. Also why give me the option for digital keys to skip the counter then still make me go to the counter? I will say the desk clerk was the best part of the stay.

The hotel double charged me for my room (I had already paid through Expedia). Then they told me they couldn’t process the refund because there wasn’t anyone there over the weekend with that authority. There was a hole in the ceiling over the entrance to our room with exposed wires. The carpet was wet in our room, and the room smelled like mildew. The elevators and hallways were filthy with stained walls and dirt everywhere. There was also hair on the bed. Absolutely awful.

No one was at the front desk when I entered the hotel to check in. I waited about 5 minutes and someone appeared from around the corner. He apologized for the wait. I didn't see a luggage trolley, so my mom, son and I had to carry our luggage into to the hotel and up to our room. It appeared the hotel had some upgrades done. The restaurant area looked closed but fully furnished. Our rooms were somewhat comfortable. Sheets had a few old stains, the toilet seemed like it was going to stop-up but would eventually flush. The shower water was warm, never hot. NO ONE came to clean the room or replace towels. I seen a couple of rooms had their towels tossed outside the room do so that's what I did on day to. No one replaced the towels, we had to go down to the front desk and retrieve clean towels and once someone brought clean towels to our door. We tried the restaurant/bar the 3rd night of our stay, the bartender took 5-10 minutes to come from wherever she was to take our food order and insisted we take it to go so we did. Mind you there were two older couples already seated with food and drinks. I'm indifferent about the experience. Maybe they just were understaffed and trying to make do or folks were just being lazy. Some neighborhood kids came to use the pool, which was cool. They were well behaved.

What I didn't like was the fact that there were some young people in the room next to me having a party. They were loud and obnoxious from the time I went in at 11:00 PM until about 4:30 in the morning. Not much sleep that night and there must have been about 10 -12 in the room. Coming in and out all night.

Second room was only slightly better. Jetted tub floor was black, surround was cracked up and horribly caulked, front panel loose, and saw hairs stuck on walls. Worst Hilton I’ve ever been in by far.

The indoor AND outdoor pools were both disgusting. People were jumping the gate at the outdoor pool and smoking marijuana. The indoor pool was NOT heated as advertised and there was no flow/circulation of the water. You could see the debris just floating on top of the water. I chose this hotel specifically for the indoor/outsoor pool options. Never again!!

My Husband and I checked out March 17th and realized I had forgot my pillow in Rooom#439. I called the Hotel 2 Hours later. 3Days gone by i called a 2nd time, got put through Housekeeping and left a Message, still no call back until Thursday Afternoon. Found my Pillow and now I'm waiting for instructions to get it back. Doubletree Hilton Augusta Georgia is supposed to Email me FedEx instructions to retrieve my Pillow. Almost a week later and not resolved

It’s in a convenient location in Augusta and the front desk staff was very friendly. The room was not in good condition. It didn’t seem dirty so much as just in just general disrepair. The AC didn’t work but we got in late and just needed to sleep. Looking back I wish we’d asked to switch because we all slept terribly but we were thinking we be better off just getting to bed at that late hour than going through the trouble by the time we realized it didn’t work. The iron didn’t work in the room but again by the time we realized that in the morning we didn’t have time to ask for a replacement because we were hurrying off to a tournament, I’m sure the front desk would have been helpful both the evening and morning staff were very welcoming. The room was just not the standard I’ve had at other Hilton locations, including other Doubletrees. There was no trashcan in the room, only in the bathroom. Staining on the walls and bed. Peeling walls. The hallway reeked heavily of marijuana, which I realize to an extent is out of managements control, but it was outrageous. I typically don’t bother leaving negative reviews but this was a rather overwhelming disappointing experience. As soon as we checked in Saturday we couldn’t wait to get out of that room and made it a point to stay out until late that evening so we only had to sleep there and we found even just that difficult and unpleasant.

Upon trying to get to our 4th floor room, the elevator 5th floor light was on. This caused an issue when trying to get back to the lobby/dining lounge. Service in the bar was the best she could do. One tender for the bar when it was full and very busy with food orders. She remained friendly, helpful and courteous.

Friendly Staff! Clean rooms , hiccup with breakfast ticket but everything was successful. Pool could’ve been a little cleaner , I’d replace the real dying flowers with fakes will definitely upgrade the pool room 😊😊
