    We tried to book a room on base (Ft. Gordon) to visit with our active duty son. Called to verify the location and reservation. We were assured that it was the correct location. Arrived at the hotel on base and was told we had no reservation. Tried to call the hotel I had just spoken with and could never get an answer. Had to pay for another room at the correct location and essentially had to pay twice. Paid for a room never used because I was given bad information and one we actually stayed in. I will be booking room in person to make sure we are at the correct location to be with our son.

    Very convenient location and off the main road! This is an older property, and key essentials are dated and noisy. The biggest thing is that the air conditioning systems are super loud, so much so that we had to move rooms after the first night because the air conditioner kept us awake all night. The second room was better but still very loud while it was running, enough that you have to turn the volume up on the TV but not always loud enough to wake you up from your sleep. The TVs in the rooms seem hit or miss - the first room had a TV from easily the early 2010s, while the second room had a smart TV.

    I stayed there for a week, but they never came in to clean the room. It was pointless to put a "Please Clean" sign on the door or complain. I ended up staying in a dirty room.

    The lady that checked me in was great she made sure I got signed up for the IHG rewards and even gave me a cookie at cheek-in. The location is fantastic right off of Washington Rd minutes to everything. The rooms are big you get a tub shower combo along with refrigerator fridge and a stove top The blackout curtains fail down on me do to the curtain only having one clip on the opposing side but I just rigged it back up and told the front desk upon checkout

    The room was not cleaned prior to my family’s arrival. I had to change my bedding. There was a musty scent in the room. I had to clean the bathroom as well. When I asked for a refund for my last day because we were leaving early, my request was denied even with all that wasn’t done in the room. And the manager didn’t have the decency to tell me that the request was denied. She sent someone else to deny the request since she was too busy.

    It was great from beginning to end. Our hostess when we checked in was Amazing, her name was Talonga or something like that I'm sorry I can't remember exact name and I should have because she was great. Thank you again for everything.     There was some kind of altercation in the parking lot outside of the hotel on 30 August and the sheriff department was called and three sheriff vehicles showed up. The TV reception in my room was not clear and there were loose floor tiles in the bathroom.

    The guest above my room were SUPER LOUD all night. 2 calls were made to the front desk NOTHING CHANGED. I slept about 2 hours and my husband didn’t sleep at all. The manager did not call nor care. She told Expedia “policy states no refunds”. Policy also states quiet time is 10:30p-7a and a guest could be asked to leave if the disturbance continues. She uses policy for HER BENEFIT ONLY and could care less about the guest as long as the card goes through and the payment is collected.

The staff, however, were incredibly responsive, doing everything they could to help us out. By the third day of our stay, everything was fixed except the automatic icemaker, which never worked (they gave us an icetray). For a longer stay with family, this property and room were outstanding - except for the issues mentioned above.

    Very nice size. TV was not working in the living room and had to take lightbulbs out of the lamp in the living room to put in lamp in bedroom. Light bulb under microwave wasn’t working either. Plus shower curtain rod had rust on it. Towels were Not adequate for what we were charged for the room.

When I went to get another room, the only room provided was one that smelled severely of chemicals and the carpet was soaking wet. I asked to speak to a manager multiple times with no call back. The smell was so bad my clothes smelled like chemicals for days.

    It was a nice stay, quite, free laundry, Wi-Fi, cable, nice grilling area out back as we as a dog area to walk your animals (yes pets allowed) there was also a full kitchen area which I thought was the best.

    Checked in at 1715 went up to see my room and then left to go see my son on base and returned at 2015. Took the car with my belongings up to room got inside and immediately went to the restroom with the door open. Looked out into room and saw a bag that did not belong to me with clothes in it on the floor. I hurried up and shut the bathroom door Wash my hands slowly open the door to see if anybody was in the room. No one was there, but the bed had been slept in and somebody’s hair was in the sink so I tried to call the front desk and the phone didn’t work. I looked up the number on my phone and called down and talked to the clerk, and she said the room was registered to me and she didn’t know how anybody else got in there , so she asked if I wanted another room I said yes and she gave me a room on the third floor all the way at the end of the hall and when I get in that room, the privacy blind is hanging by one hook and it’s broke and I called to the clerk, and she came up to check and see if she could fix it and there was a man standing in the hall just staring into the room. When I went back downstairs, a man at the front had made a comment to me about how he could “feel better“ and then another one approached me laundry room. I felt very uncomfortable. I went to the front desk and told the clerk, I didn’t want to stay there that I was afraid. She said Hotels.com would have to give my money back. The owner was an agreement , I left and got a room on base. I want a refund.

    Planned on staying for a few weeks but hotel rudely told us we couldn’t extend although we had a leak with our ac and carpet had a wet spot and room wouldn’t have been able to rent after speaking with hotel staff informing them that we were extending and would stay in the room and they didn’t have to comp us but they made us check out due to over bookings and not enough vacancy for an in town event even though we had previously informed them that we would need to be staying for 7-10 days and being assured it was ok. On the day we checked out we were told management would help figure out something and if not we would be comped points through their rewards program and never received any

    The stay could have been marvelous but it wasn't I was really good in this process and I acted in a way of manner that I should acted and handle the situation it was very very hot in the room I never did say anything it was an air conditioner in the living room but it was no air conditioning a bedroom which that was fine if the bedroom was stay cool so I thought maybe that it was just cuz it was so hot outside that that's probably why it wasn't cooling down at the time I waited until 11:00 to see that it's not going to cool down and it's going to stay hot in that room so I notified front desk the girl at the front desk was amazing she was very alert about my situation she wouldn't check the other rooms to see if it was cooler and I end up getting another room well the other room wasn't cooler either them hotel might want to get a little small unit put in those rooms cuz it's extremely hot in there very uncomfortable for you to sleep you can't even sleep in the bed other than that I can say it was great but it was a miserable Stay cuz it was hot only only cuz it was hot I'm really good and I never complain about anything but I would like somebody take this in the manner of doing something special for my hot stay due to this I had to stay in the living room the whole time and I could not sleep in the bed like normal people do at night time

    The service and cleanliness were very good, the only negative thing about our stay was that we were on the 2nd floor and the elevator was out of service the whole time. Having said that, I work in the maintenance field and understand that sometimes the time it takes to have repairs done can be out of your control.

I booked my room on line, I clicked on a room with two beds. When I checked in I was told that they don’t have rooms with two beds. I didn’t believe that!!!! So I got a room with a let out bed and a bed. My room cost $118 per night and the was no BREAKFAST! I was very disappointed with the service we had to make up the bed we pulled out! I promise I won’t bother you guys again and I’m going to warn my friends to steer clear!!

    Hotel has a few better than average amenities- like the fitness room which is more than just a treadmill and elliptical. The room was very comfortable and the bed was heavenly. I love that this property has the full Dove shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Thank you! The staff was super friendly We’ll be back!

    I have stayed at a lot of hotels, we just stayed at double tree, Fairfield inn and a lot of higher-end hotels. I would choose candlewood suites any day over those high-end hotels. The Assistant Manager Christina Bishop was absolutely amazing and so helpful. We were there for a family member in the hospital in very poor health. Instead of the usual hotel stays where the staff endlessly bangs on your door asking when your checking out( even before it's checkout time), this experience was totally different. They were so kind and understanding of our situation and the need to have to keep extending our stay( due to the ups and downs of our family members health). I have to say this has been one of my best hotel experiences I have ever had and I have stayed in a lot of hotels due to my work. The main factor was the kindness, understanding and the feel of staying with family while we were there. Christina and our staff were absolutly amazing and I van not mention one negative aspect of our stay. Thank you so much to the entire staff.

    Hotels need to simply invest in taking out all carpet and keep hard floors. Its a cleaner look and doesnt hide smells. You can only clean carpet so many times. The carpet here smelled like there was a leak somewhere in the room. Rid the carpet... it will cost less over time.

Then was given a 1 bed room when I booked a room with 2 beds. The property was convenient for where we needed to go. But it is not the greatest. Does the job if you just need a place to sleep.

    I found the staff to be less than accommodating first of all when after traveling 3 hours with a toy hauler and vehicle at almost midnight, I was told my fiancé was not going to be able to check in before me, 45 minutes to an hour before I was to arrive. The room was paid fir the weekend and I called to let the hotel know that I was running late because of my special needs daughter and to give permission for him to be able to rest for a race in the morning we were in town for and was told “No ma’am, we won’t be able to let him in. We’ll do it right with an I’d when you get here.”

The first thing I noticed was my inability to connect to the internet regularly. There would be long periods non-connect. Not once during my stay, did someone bother to clean my room. I attempted to use the available cutlery to prepare a meal but found all of the knives to be covered in some kind of greasy gunk. I used my pocket knife instead. I personally cleaned the cutlery before leaving.These are the things that stood out during my stay.

    The staff was very friendly. The room was nice until I stepped on some kind of crawling insect on the kitchen floor, in the dark while walking over to turn on the lights. The bug was scrambling to get out from under my toes and I was scrambling to get it out from my toes. Needless to say the kitchen light stayed on. Overall a nice room but a creepy crawler encounter was a little too much.

    The warm and friendly staff at this hotel is what they call Souther Charm...even at 4 am in the morning when I checked in. This no frills property offers a clean and comfortable stay. The rooms come complete with a kitchenette: Fridge, Microwave, Dishwasher, 2-Burner Electric stove, Pot and Frying pan. There is also 2 of each - plates, forks, spoons and knives glassware. All you have to do is make it to the local Kroger about 2 miles away to purchase food and you're home away from home. Pros: Cost, Friendly Staff, Clean Convenient Cons: Internet speed wasn't the greatest but a few times it was ok. Recommendation: Though this hotel offers no form of elegant decor it served it's purpose. Helpful staff, good location and clean at an affordable price. I would recommend this hotel to a colleague or friend.
