Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead

My wife and I decided to spend Mother’s Day at the Waldorf Astoria, and even though we live less than a mile away, it felt like we had escaped to a completely different world. From the moment we arrived, the level of luxury, attention to detail, and hospitality was exceptional. The staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and impeccably maintained, and dinner at the restaurant was outstanding. Every interaction reinforced why the Waldorf Astoria is known for excellence. It truly felt like a home away from home, but with five-star service and elegance at every turn. We left feeling refreshed, celebrated, and already looking forward to our next stay.

Service at the Waldorf Astoria was excellent from the moment we arrived. The hotel maintains a very welcoming environment. The room was spacious with a luxurious bathroom. The gym was clean with towels and water bottles on all workout equipment. Highly recommend staying here and can't wait to return.

Close to Lenox and Phipps Malls I didn’t get some important information when I checked in, such as Wi-Fi or checkout time. The valet ticket doesn’t tell you how to call for your car. The concierge service was so-so; they didn’t answer the phone when I called with questions. One staff member told me to stop taking pictures with my “professional camera” (I was using a Cannon Powershot, that is a normal camera, totally inappropriate).

The WA customer service is excellent (save for when I called to have my car brought around and no one answered at the front desk OR concierge, requiring me to wait 10 minutes once at valet) but I'm not sure it's worth the cost anymore.

Stayed here for a layover when our flight was canceled. There’s a mall nearby and lots of dining close by but traffic is a concern, especially in the morning and the evening to get back to the airport all in all decent enough well Astoria, but I wouldn’t put it at the top of their portfolio.

The staff was impeccably courteous and so helpful. The room was spotless. The meal we had in the restaurant was delicious with impeccable service. Our stay could not have been more pleasant. Jermaine and Margaret were so very kind and friendly...it was pleasure to interact with both of them.

We had a lovely evening at the Waldorf! The room was super clean and very comfortable. The hotel bar was fun and inviting. The only inconvenience was that the sauna and spa were closed during our stay and we had been looking forward to using that. Otherwise it was great!

We loved the custom touches, like scheduling our house keeping service, ice delivery on demand, and even getting us a digital scale so we could keep an eye on our holiday calories! The staff - across the board, were all so friendly and helpful - Bravo to the Waldorf team!

The customer service was excellent from bell hop to front desk, however as an affluent family of 4 we highly respect the value of a dollar and paying for presumed prestige. Not only did we have to have our bath tub cleaned upon entry but even after that there were strands of hair on the shower knobs, we had to have a maintenance man come fix the volume in the tv, the pillows deflated shortly after laying on them and the chipped paint on some of the trimmings of the room highlighted the outdated age of the room. Called the hotel, told the front desk I may be arriving 2,3 hours from when I reserved, so around 1-2am. As it happened I was able to make my connection, but a couple sitting next to me in the plane was stuck in ATL. for the night. I offered my room, called the front desk but was told they couldn’t change the guests, and I had to call Hotels.com to do so. I had a virtual conversation with a rep from Hotels.com, Le Tam Lien, who after 1-2 hr trying to resolved said they could not change the guest because I was a “no-show”. So you guys are not able to resolve little issues, but are happy to take my money. I will NEVER go to your site again to book anything. And as far as I’m concerned Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Buckhead ATL, hasn’t the slightest idea of what courtesy and welcome is, after I had spoken to them and explained I would be arriving very late. I won’t write here the words that come to mind. Sincerely.

Property isn’t properly clean, housekeeping is nasty. This is not a 5 star stay. I can receive better service down the street. The furniture is run down cracks in the bathroom floor. Mildew in the carpet.

The toilet made a weird after flush sound every 30 seconds all day and night.

1. Despite being a guest in the hotel the restaurant manager was very rude, ignore us to allocate us on a table for them later tell us that we will have to wait 90 min. After complaining to the front desk we received a call that they will put us on a table. Trying to catch up. Which I decline and decided to go to an outside restaurant. 2. State that they have car services Ina 2 mile diameter. Because we could not have breakfast we decided to go to have breakfast Ina close by restaurant. Ask for the transportation service. They put us on an u er that ask us to pay. When we refuse the u er driver hd to go to the hotel to request payment. The hotel had to fix the problem and pay for it. Again catching up from mistakes. 3. Went to the swimming pool and no place to sit. Very limited chairs or anything. Then the elevator stop working and we could not get out of the swimming pool and they had to call service to guide us on a different path to leave the area. 4. We had a spa. Person doing the massage arrive late. More importantly I pay 1 hr and only got 45 min. Furthermore for this hotel we do not expect to get pressure to buy any product the spa and there was clear pressure to do. The team try to make it up for all this in other ways. But for the room I had I do not need those things I expect good service and comfort which we did not get. Overall bad

My daughter and I booked a one night stay at this amazing hotel and it was absolutely beautiful and the staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, we had to leave early due to a family member passing away and they were so kind and understanding and Jermaine who works in Valet was absolutely wonderful and so sweet. His kindness touched my heart. I highly recommend the Waldorf Astoria Buckhead.

I love staying at the Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead. This was my 5th time staying at the hotel and I haven’t been disappointed yet. The staff are so friendly and courteous. Should out to Dante, Jermaine, Jon, and Ron who are best valet attendants in Atlanta. They never disappoint.

From the moment we walked through the doors to the day we left, the staff was so gracious, kind and helpful with anything we needed. We brought our 9 year old daughter with us and they treated her like she was their daughter with such care and kindness and a little bit of spoiling too! haha! This was our first stay at the Waldorf. We chose this hotel for the great location to shopping and easy access for travel. The staff in the entire hotel was so accommodating and kind. Every meal we had was excellent. We booked a return stay just five days later with the same wonderful experience as the first. We loved it!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience and stay at this hotel. The staff was beyond exceptional. Especially Abdul, he helped me a lot at the front desk and was able to help me with anything I had to ask. The bar was absolutely amazing as well Deidre, was fantastic It was always there to make sure my favorite drink was already made without even having to ask.. if I ever go back to Atlanta I will only be staying at the Waldorf.

A trip to the spa floor was warm and inviting and brought us in contact with the amazing concierge, Sukru. This lovely gentleman oozes charm and warmth in abundant proportions, and led me personally to the saltwater lap pool. The pool was enclosed with marble columns on one side and a glass wall leading to an outside garden on the other. The bedroom bath robes, were terry cloth on the inside and felt like silk on the outside, so they were perfect for the pool excursion as well as the bedroom. When we came down for breakfast we were greeted again by Sukru and escorted to the dining room where we met our Brazilian host, who also joyously celebrated our anniversary. Our sumptuous breakfast included a lovely bottle of champagne from the amazing Sukru, and a decadent chocolate dessert from our waiter. A final photograph by Sukru ended our fabulous stay. We will return!!

Everything was a 11/10. The staff is so nice and accommodating, it’s very clean, lots of things to do nearby, and the complimentary car service was a surprise and a plus!

It was all around great

The Waldorf Astoria is the best hotel in buckhead. The concierge, valet attendants, and doorman were extremely kind. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my stay. You can’t go wrong with this hotel. I will be back very soon.

I would recommend staying here to anyone looking to truly feel taken care of away from home. They understand what accommodating their guests really looks like and the properties amenities embodied the meaning of luxury.

Great place very friendly staff Excellent service. The only thing I would say is there Valet system is very inconsistent and jammed up may need to work on fine tuning the system there. For that caliber of a property that should be flawless
