The hotel is praised for its cleanliness, stylish decor, and friendly, accommodating staff. The location is also highly appreciated, being close to the Fox Theatre and various dining options. However, a recurring complaint is the extremely small size of the bathrooms, which many guests find uncomfortable.

What guests liked
  • Clean and stylish hotel with friendly, accommodating staff

Location is super convenient and staff is very friendly. Parking was located right behind the hotel and was never full which was nice. Bathrooms are very tiny if that’s important to you. Housekeeping didn’t come until 6pm which was a little inconvenient. There’s outdoor furniture but they don’t have cushions on them as advertised in the pictures. Not a bad stay, but probably wouldn’t be my first choice of hotels in midtown.

    - There were no cushions on the chairs outside. Bums stole them but never replaced or changed by hotel. - Bathroom was the smallest I’ve ever seen. - Closet was bigger than the bathroom. - Water pressure was great but water got cold quick. - No refrigerator.

I like how it was very convenient right next to the Fox theater and near some good place to eat before the shows. The bathrooms are way too small, but considering it's a historic hotel that I cannot control. But overall the hotel was great.

There was no iron in the room that I could find, no additional pillows or blankets, and no closet. (Apparently that was because it was a handicapped accessible bathroom which takes up more space in the room so you sacrifice a closet?) :) The front desk staff was hit or miss - some were great, some seemed overwhelmed and snappy. All in all, great location and the stay was fine. Just less than expected from an Indigo.

Wonderful location for a night at The Fox Theater. Bathroom is small due to it being a historic hotel but very nicely done. We will return the next time we go to The Fox.

The hostess at checkout was not very friendly. She was not very helpful when I was asking questions . It seemed like she didn’t want to be bothered. I witnessed her being rude to another customer during their check in as well. The young man that checked out was very polite and friendly. The only thing I dislike was the bathroom in the room was very small.

Parking was easy - $50 to self park in the garage right behind the hotel. Room A/C wasnt the best. Rooms were nice, but because it's a renovated historic building, the bathroom is TINY. Not exaggerating, the size gave airplane bathroom vibes.

This is a historic hotel that's had some updates done to it. They've converted the old closets into bathrooms so be aware of the small size. I stayed in a room with a king bed that was so comfy it shocked me. There's not too many hotels with mattresses that aren't as hard as rocks, so this was a treat. Cute decorations throughout the hotel and room makung for good backgrounds for pics. $50 nightly parking was the most I've had to spend at any stay but it was nice to have the garage within walking distance of the hotel. Unfortunately, it isn't connected to the main hotel building so be aware of that as well.

My only small gripe was the bathroom. It was very small and felt a bit like an afterthought compared to the rest of the room—almost like an RV bathroom. Aside from that, everything else about the stay was excellent.

The parking was great, no issues at all. For those wanting to go to the fox theater, this is the perfect location. My issue with this property? The access key cards for the rooms never worked properly. Literally! After a long day, you want to just go to your room and relax. This was not the case, I had to always go back and forth downstairs to the lobby to get my card reset. 2nd, the rest room were way too small. Literally too small!

The property was art deco style, very nicely decorated with a very nice bar area. It was conveniently situated for our Emory Hospital stay just four blocks away on Peach Tree Ave. It was a very nice place and exceptionally clean. The water was hot but the shower slippery underfoot. I’m an older person not wanting to fall down. I did not like the huge price tag of an average double bedroom with a very small, airplane style bathroom which had small double doors which I kept hitting myself on when moving around in there. It was very modern, very clean and with plenty of soap and lotion and bath linens. The coffee maker did not work and although plenty of coffee I did not like the selection of flavored teas. There were no regular Lipton style tea bags. Water in the room was $12 for a liter bottle which I could not believe. I left early the following morning so I do not know what food was like there.

Alerted the staff about it and nothing was done about it. I am a bald man so I know I did not have hair missing that was long. Worst was that nothing was done about it when asked to clean my shower again.

They have paid parking for $50/day. We didn’t look around for other parking since it was super convenient but I’m not sure I’d want to pay $50/day again. The lobby is on the small side but they have a bar that we didn’t go to but it may have just been a quick breakfast and coffee bar thing. Did not see it open at night. The rooms are small but still comfortable. The bathrooms are insanely, ridiculously over the top tiny! I know it’s an old historic type building but it was seriously microscopic. The gentleman did tell us at check-in it was going to be small but given ours was as small as it was, it should be made a bit clearer when booking. The hotel isn’t budget so I would appreciate knowing that beforehand. Love Indigo Hotel, the staff in each and will stay in others again but may think twice before booking here at midtown based off the tiny bathrooms in the room.

The manager was very rude. I had to stand outside in the pouring rain and cold, ringing the doorbell repeatedly before anyone would let me in the building. His first words to me was I heard you the first time you rang the doorbell. I had to request a room change because the first room they put me in. There was urine on the floor on the toilet and clearly the bathroom had not been cleaned. Again, I had to deal with the same manager, and he was rude again.

I want to make it clear that the hotel clerk at the desk was not the problem. My low rating of the check-in process reflects the system itself, not the employee. The clerk was polite and apologetic once the issue was resolved. The problem began with the booking process through Hotels.com. When I booked, I was given the option to either pay in full through the app or pay at the hotel. I chose to pay through the app, which I will not do again. At check-in, it appeared that the hotel could not locate the access key or confirmation provided by the third-party app. This caused about a 20-minute delay, which was frustrating after a long trip. What shocked me most, however, was the incidental fee. I fully understand the purpose of incidentals, but being charged over $750 is excessive. I was later told that this hotel charges $150 per night, which explains the total, but I have never encountered such high incidental fees anywhere I’ve traveled. For comparison, my stay with taxes came to about $1,300, but with the additional $750 hold, my credit card reflected a $2,050 balance. That’s a significant and unexpected increase, and while the hotel immediately takes the incidental fee, guests must then wait several business days for it to be released. This practice is especially hard on travelers who may be on a budget. I also attempted to cancel my reservation through Hotels.com once I learned of the incidental fee, but was unable to. Had I chosen to hold the reservation and pay in

There is a deposit each day if you book here. We had to pay $450.00 for three nights, there is not parking around unless you want to pay over 80 a night so you kind of have to pay to park in their parking deck which is $50.00 daily. There is also a “historic” fee for $20 a day they do not tell you about. There was a smell the whole time we were there. The bathroom is super small. The bed is comfortable and they only have cable T.V. I will not be returning here.

Pictures were deceiving on the website. Looked super nice and cute, once we got in, it was just OKAY at best. For 140$ a night I would expect the rooms to be more clean for that price. Could barely move in the bathroom since it was the size of a closet. Paint was chipping of the walls and the floors and tables had dust and dirt like it hasn’t been cleaned in a few days. Parking was atrocious. Street parking is a max of 4 hours and if you park behind the building in the parking garage, it’s 50$ a day or 30$ a night. So that means since we were only there for a night, it was a total of $170 to stay here. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Look somewhere else if you want a good experience if midtown.

It’s well located if you’re going to the Fox Theater. Other than that, the hotel feels a little tired. It was restored at some point, but it feels tired now. My mattress had a weird odor, the bathroom was smaller than ones in NYC hotels, and the decor was sad. It would be great if the hotel could put some warmer light bulbs in the table lamps. The ones in my room were bright white like a hospital. Eeek!

I am very unhappy with the hotel management. I was charged a ridiculous amount of money for an 2 night stay and was told it was because I was smoking in the room. Which is crazy since I don’t smoke. I asked for a receipt of all the charges and was never given one. I’ve tried to contact the manager but was put on hold and never heard back from him. I’m extremely disappointed with the way everything was handled. I will not stay here again.

Good location in midtown, a comfotable room on the 10th floor. Friencly helpful front desk staff as well as breakfast staff. We gave this hote 5* review on our first stay at the beginning of our circular roadtrip, it was the last hotel before flying home and this time I'm giving it 4*, purely because they overcharged for breakfast for 2 which should have been included in the rate we paid. The front desk agreed and rectified but the administration of sending the refund to my bank was slow, i had to chase. So no complaint about the hotel and staff just the slowness of applying a refund.

I arrived with a massive headache. I asked the front desk for a quiet room to sleep during the check in. They put me on the 3rd floor right next to.a bunch of big loud restaurant vents making crazy nonstop noise. I went down and requested a room change and i was told i needed to pay an extra 40$ just to be put in a normal room on the higher floor. Either that or be moved to another room on the 3rd floor but facing the super loud Peachtree street. What kind of nonsense of that? Im paying a hotel in order to sleep. They have quiet rooms available but insisted on.putting me in a rooom where they KNOW i will not be able to sleep well. Staff completely unhelpful!

Note that I even stayed the night I intended fully expecting them to remedy my fat-finger mistake. But evidently loyalty means nothing to Indigo. I will not stay at any of their properties again even if it means paying more to go somewhere else.

--- Title: A Bathroom So Small, I Got to Know Myself Better Hotel Indigo Atlanta charmed me with its stylish decor, friendly staff, and prime location. But the real star of the show? The bathroom — a masterclass in space efficiency. This isn’t just a small bathroom; it’s an intimate experience. By the time I closed the door, we were on a first-name basis. Turning around felt like solving a Rubik’s Cube with my body. I’m fairly certain the shower and sink are in a committed relationship — they’re that close. Need to reach the towel rack? Congratulations, it’s also the toilet paper holder, the light switch, and possibly the emergency exit. All jokes aside, everything was spotless and functional, and I left with a newfound appreciation for minimalism — and my own flexibility. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. But I might stretch first.

I enjoyed my stay overall. The staff was really nice and helpful if they were any concerns. In terms of the room, the room floor was dusty and still had food residue from the prior tenant before. I asked room service to clean the room one of the days of my stay and after they completed their cleaning, there was still food on the ground. I’m a bit of a germaphobe so might be taken with a grain of salt.

The bathrooms were so small, the size of a closet. The security deposit is $100 a night, absolutely ridiculous. Then when you check out they charge you $20 a night historical fee. Would never stay here again.

“Cute room, but thin walls and tiny bathroom” The room was clean and stylish, and the check-in process was quick and easy. The front desk staff was super helpful and friendly—gave great food recommendations and a polite nudge toward the hotel restaurant. The bathroom, however, is extremely small—smaller than most cruise ship bathrooms. I’m 6’4” and 250 lbs, and while the toilet/sink setup was cramped, the shower was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. The bath products smelled great and worked well. Major downside: noise. I could hear everything from my neighbor’s phone call to street noise and dumpsters outside. I was woken up multiple times during the night. Definitely not ideal for light sleepers. Also, parking is $50/night, which is steep. I used a $36 garage across the street instead. Bottom line: If you’re on a budget and don’t mind noise or a compact bathroom, this place works. But if you need peace and quiet, it might not be for you.

No all rooms have refrigerators, they charged me an extra 25 dollars per night to get a room with one, staff at the front desk have a very por attitude, they don’t change towels or clean the room until way pass 4pm despite asking several times. Bathroom s are extremely small. Not a 4 star hotel as advertised.

Luckily it was a short trip, anything longer than 2 nights and I would've opted for another hotel. Location was great, parking is expensive ($50), clean facilities. I would only stay here again as a last resort or extremely short stay.

I really enjoyed my stay here. There were so many places to go within walking distance and the staff were super friendly in directing me where to go. The hotel itself had its own historical aesthetic with a contemporary feel. I loved the decor of the rooms and the overall style of the establishment. Yes the bathrooms are small, but I was forewarned upon my arrival. I honestly didn’t care because it’s no different than the bathrooms and rooms when you travel to Europe! lol

Etc…my total came to $331. The room was clean but the bathroom is the smallest I’ve ever seen in my life. They forgot to include towels. They double charged me for a bar drink…that was awful. The area to walk the dog is 4x6’ enclosure with Astro turf - not ideal for a Labrador. You are in the heart of midtown so we felt unsafe and the traffic is atrocious.

We arrived for a girls weekend, and quickly found out that the room wasn't able to comfortably hold 3 people. We travel all the time together and this is the first time we've run into this situation. The bathroom is extremely small and ut would be nice if the beds were queen size versus full. The staff was either super accommodating, or not engaged. We had to ask multiple times for extra towels as there were only 2 towles in the room. There was no free coffee/coffee station for hotels guests. We paid $17.00 for 2 small drip coffees. Overall, very disappointing. Will not recommend or return. The bright spot was meeting Peanut the dog. He receives 5 stars!

Th front desk staff were amazing and incredibly helpful with giving us food options and ideas on where to go! The lobby was beautiful and although I did not partake in the bar/food options; the area was always clean and readily available. Lobby has a small snack fridge with water and small snacks available as well. Try to ask for a room not next to the elevator; as that was my only “complaint” with noise but it also didn’t bother me as much as it might with others. No fridge/microwave in room; but room is quaint enough and nicely decorated. Bathroom is as small as a cruise ship bathroom but it does its job and incredibly clean. Hotel literally across the street from the Fox theatre and around the corner from a Marta station. Tons of walkable places to eat within a mile radius or even next Marta stop up Midtown. I would recommend and stay again.

This is a 100-year-old that has been beautifully renovated. It's immaculately designed and maintained. Staff are great, and the rooms are very comfortable - especially the beds. One limitation of such a historic building is very small bathrooms. They are very sleek and modern, just tiny. The shower is roomy and great, but it takes up most of the floor space. Overall, this place gets high marks. The tiny bathroom and lack of a microwave are trade-offs for a great location and otherwise very comfortable accommodations.

In general, we’ve always liked the Inigo, and enjoy staying there. Two annoyances that you could easily fix… one, those doors at the rear entrance are constant confusion for your guests, please get them sorted or replaced. Two, the parking… $50/nite is a ‘gotcha’ to your customers, please charge a fair rate. And exiting the parking garage out the back as directed, makes it impossible for your guests to drive around to the back door entrance and load their their luggage (and passengers) as they load up to head home.

    1. Shower drainage is so slow that you have to stand in still water while drying. 2. The soap dispensers must be filled. Day one the body wash was over. 3. The coffee maker has visible dust inside 4. Bought a coffee at their bar and the machine spat 1/3rd of a small cup. 5. It is still winter please provide some warmer blankets. Despite setting the thermostat to 72 it was still cold The staff is extremely courteous but that is not enough you need to pre-empt these small but irritating issues.

Hotel is convenient to Fox tjeater, restaurants, GATech and Midtown Atlanta. Older hotel. Room was ok, lobby ok, but smallest bathroom ever. Like, dont drop a quarter or you wont be able to pick it up with door closed, like only one person period, like airplane bathroom small.

Micheal checked me in and even texted to make sure we were comfortable. The building is old but it’s clean. Upon check in her warned of the smaller bathroom.. when I saw it I laughed it’s comical small BUT clean and does what needs to be done. My complaint IT WAS NOISY. We were there for a cheer comp and went to bed at 8 due to early wake of at 4a. We were awoken by the next door snoring yes that walls are that thin and then around 11pm a party in the halls. If I didn’t need to wake up so early it wouldn’t be a issue
