Reviews
The hotel received mixed reviews with guests appreciating the friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness, and convenient location. However, many guests were dissatisfied with the mandatory valet parking fee, lack of free breakfast, and various issues with room cleanliness and maintenance.

The property was clean and well maintained and everyone was super friendly. There were several add on fees I wasn’t prepared for—for example, you cannot park at t he hotel for free. It comes with a valet parking fee. Breakfast is an additional fee, as well. Otherwise, the stay was enjoyable. The area is safe.

Over had a good experience. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Only bad parts were that the pool was a little cloudy and green. The shower genuinely took 10 mins of running hot water to get warm. But other than that, i enjoyed my stay.

Clean room, the staff was excellent, and the parking was great 👍

I would have given a better rating but the housekeeper banged on the door at 8:26am. We were in town for the concert and didn’t return from the show until well after midnight. If would have been excellent across the board if that didnt happen! Beautiful property with excellent Front desk & valet.

The room was noisy because of traffic. The sound of traffic, day and night, was irritating.

Great service
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and clean, and the beds were very comfortable to sleep in. The thing that could have been improved was the smell of the floor we stayed on. Apparently the carpet on that floor had something done to it, and there was a large industrial floor fan to help it dry. There was a light unpleasant mildew smell in the hallway.

Housekeeping needs to pay extra details to the cleaning of the room.

The hotel had a nice interior. It was clean. There were a lot of snack and drink options in the lobby store. The desk staff were friendly. The location of the hotel was fairly easy to locate. I was not made aware that literally the only parking option was valet. I pull up to check in and the guy asked if I was going to valet and I said I can park myself and he said no it's only valet so I said well I guess I'm gonna valet then, huh. And then I had to spend an extra, mandatory $50 per night to valet my car. None of this was disclosed prior to booking. The other thing was that we got a suite with a sofa and while the room was nicely accommodating, the bed was AWFUL. We woke up in actual pain. Hardest mattress I've ever slept on. It had zero give whatsoever. Felt like sleeping on the floor.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, I am a Hilton Honors Member. There was no complimentary water, I had to pay a fee to check in early, the “restaurant” on site served uncooked pizza and there was no bartender to make a drink. Then I was forced to pay for the meal with the incidentals hold. The shower knob was broken and had to be manipulated to run at least warm water. No one cleaved the room on day 2 as promised. I will never stay here again.

Staff was good, valet was great! Room…hot water at the sink was nonexistent during the entire stay. One elevator was not working the last 2 days, we, and many other guests, were not told that a room key had to be used in the elevator, eventually figure out, grill was closed Sunday, never informed beforehand, placed a delivery, stepped outside to get it, key would not work to let me back in and no one was at the desk to hear the buzzer I had to push to get in,the table we sat at in the dining area had the same piles of crumbs under them for at least 2 days, the heater sounded like a 747 when it turned on and the sound last way too long, and it was surprising to see a room that was so dark and dreary and in our jr. suite we had 2 TVs, on remote was missing.

Great service. Excellent rooms. Exceptional staff. Hotel Quite near to Georgia congress centre, Coca Cola and the aquarium (less than 10 min Uber). Good gym facility and an outdoor pool which we did not use due to cold weather in January. Overall great experience nothing to complain. Safe to say I’d be back here anytime I am in Atlanta. Special thanks to JB at check in.

I have stayed at plenty of Hilton products, but I will never stay at that location again. I don’t worry when I know I book at a reputable hotel like Hilton. Please disclose that they charge 50$ a day for parking!!! I was appalled of this! The hotel it self is old so it takes a very long time for water to heat up as well as the heating does not keep a good temperature , very hot then cold and the thermostat was never touched. I feel like what I paid and what I got made me feel I was cheated out of my money. What is happening to Hilton????

It was horrible from the beginning of the stay. From the first encounter to valet. The experience was so horrible and unwelcome to where I spoke with the front desk to have the entire stay canceled. I had a lot of luggage to carry and there were no luggage carriers available nor did any of the workers offer to help. I also waited for about 15 minutes before the valet rep asked to park the car. They were not welcoming or helpful. I will never stay at this property

Beds were too hard. Curtains didn’t close , and shades didn’t come all the way down. You couldn’t adjust temperature in room. They only had valet parking and only on person trying to check in cars and get them . Lady bartender at bar was only good service we got there. Find somewhere else to stay , if possible.

We ordered the breakfast buffet which was okay. The gentlemen working was excellent. The variety of food items could have been better and the building was cold. Our room was extremely clean and the hotel was overall great. They also had a snack area where you can purchase items. There was also a 200 deposit at check-in that was not mentioned on the Hotels app. This should be credited back within 3-5 business days.

HOWEVER, we encountered MAJOR issues with what the HGI staff blamed on false advertising on Hotels.com. We booked a king room with pull out couch for our family of 3, and selected HGI due to the pricing on hotels.com and the free breakfast. Upon check in, the room only had a king size bed - We had to upgrade for our third family member to have somewhere to sleep! Breakfast ($18 each) was NOT included, though I managed to get one comped meal coupon due to the issues. Only coffee and tea were included, and breakfast was cooked to order. The additional costs were unexpected and caused stress on our family. The hotel staff blamed it on Hotels.com. If this is indeed an issue with Hotels.com, it needs to be sorted out between HGI and the site. While possible to select a suite with pull out sofa and include breakfasts and valet in the booking, it was not noted that this was necessary. The description and photos of the room we selected was that it sleeps 4 and had free breakfast. We would maybe stay here again, or choose somewhere else in Midtown. Use caution and expect the costs to be $80-150 more per night than we paid when booking through the site.

I thought for the price the rooms would be nicer and I was told you had to pay for valet and it was 25.00 a night but at checkout was told they email the bill and four days later I find out they charged me 50.00 a night for forced parking.

This hotel is wonderful in appearance, staff and comfort.. I didn't get to enjoy the pool or try the breakfast buffet but having a Keurig coffee maker in the room was a plus. The only thing unfortunate to staying downtown Atlanta is parking. If you arrive in your own vehicle be prepared to valet. They have a great staff, I was very comfortable leaving my car with them.... however I learned from this experience that "available parking" posted in the app does not necessarily mean free parking. there's an automatic $50 surcharge put on your bill, so make the best of it.

The hotel is a bit dated and could use some updates. It’s located in a high-traffic area, so you can hear the noise at night—though I used a white noise app and that helped a lot. Just something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper. The staff was excellent—very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. I stayed here unexpectedly due to a canceled flight and it served its purpose. It’s about a 15-minute drive to the airport. One note: the check-in area is a bit hidden and can be confusing to find.

From the moment we arrived, every staff member – valet, front desk, and bartender – went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. This was our first experience at this Hilton, and it has been phenomenal. We actually switched from a motel 30 minutes away due to poor service and missing amenities, and we could not be happier with that decision. The difference here is like night and day! My kids and I absolutely love this hotel. Thank you for turning our trip around and making us feel so welcome!

They didn't have the room that i had paid for available and we had to split our family into a second room (they had overbooked??) One of the rooms smelled like mold/mildew, otherwise very clean. The staff were all incredibly friendly/nice. The elevator we used had an expired inspection tag posted (over a year expired).I would not stay there again. I gave a 2 rather than a 1 because of the friendliness of the staff.

I gave a 2 rather than a 1 because of the friendliness of the staff.

Stay was great, staff friendly and clean room, but to top it off the guys that parked cars, they were excellent!

Property was clean, quiet and organized. We checked in late and parking was a bit difficult late and after a long ride we were hoping that would be quicker. Check in was good. We did not have bedding for the pullout when we arrived in the room. We called the front desk and had to go down and get it. We booked the Junior suite room for a family of 5, so it would have been good to have the bedding available in the room. Overall the room was nice, clean and quiet and so if you are checking in at a more reasonable hour it would likely be a better experience.

Valet service was unorganized and expensive. Additionally, I watched the valets run 2 cars into each other as they were pulling my car around. The car owners were very upset about the situation. All in all, it was an OK stay that could have been worse but was overpriced.

From check in to check out the whole stay was so wonderful. Every person we interacted with was very nice and the extra touches they made decorating for the beyonce concert were so cute! The room was great and the beds were so comfortable! I also loved the touch of having my name on the tv when we got in. Food and drinks at the bar were excellent and Alex was lovely to talk to! Would love to stay here again.

So I on site the outside of the hotel does not look like the photos. There is some homeless and drug activity out and around the building. They do lock all doors from the outside you need a key to enter, that safety feature was good. You do get accosted by people for money ect as you walk around the area. Inside, staff was super nice and accommodating. I did end up paying for parking and it was valet only. The valet ended up costing me an extra 50$ per night so I honestly could have stayed somewhere a little nicer had I known. My room was clean and had all I needed, the ac did not work in the room so nights were hot but I didn’t bother the staff as we were out most of the day. Food there was pretty good and well portioned, drinks were also good. The gym was clean nice weight rack, treds, ect, but the pelotons needed a code or weren’t functioning so unusable, which if a selling point should be functioning. I do agree there are nicer hotels so if you’re going on trip with family look around. I honestly wouldn’t stay here again I feel the staff was the only upside to this hotel. If you going for work or over night this was fine. Just beware some of the up charges.

Horrible experience. The first 2 out of 3 days, they didn’t have room keys available, so if I left my room I was locked out unless I got security or the person at the desk to walk me to the room. I didn’t have access to the pool or gym either. The ac barely worked, and the traffic outside was extremely load, like the windows were open.. but they weren’t. Overall I wish I spent the extra 200 bucks and stayed at a nicer place. Oh, the internet was the cheapest lowest quality internet I’ve experienced since dialup. 10mb down, 1mb up.

The property itself is pretty well maintained. We requested a crib for our one year old and never got it. The extra linens for the extra bed were barely adequate. The cost of the breakfast was supposed to be included in my booking, and still cost $17.99 plus tax, per person. The forced valet was initially a surprise at $50 a day, though with a small child it DID turn out to be wildly convenient. The area seemed mostly safe and had standard ATL traffic conditions. Overall, a decent stay.

The suites were a great offering for two families to stay for a volleyball tournament. Two queens and a pullout sofa worked perfect for us. There was a lot of congestion though trying to get our vehicles early in the morning because of the valet service being the only option to get your vehicle. Hotel needs to know when tournaments are happening and staff more people early in the morning. We had to coordinate with multiple families and whoever got their car first took all the volleyball players or they would’ve been late even calling the vehicle 30 min in advance. Made for a stressful morning.

Hotel was party of a large group booking. Parking attendant struggled but that was their managers fault. The guys tried hard but were very overwhelmed with the event staying at the hotels and all attendees needing to leave at the same time. 2 hotels share one required valet park garage. Hotel staff seemed on edge with so many people and definitely weren't concerned with any issues.

Our room was very dated. The blinds did not open so we were not able to see outside. The bathroom was not clean and the shower was very complicated. We booked last minute because it was a spontaneous trip so we ended up with a handicap accessible room. The shower had 5 knobs to figure out and it took a full 5 minutes before the water got warm.
- 4/5
Didn't like that they gave a a room for handicap without asking or informing me.
- 2/5
Parking was terrible, hard to find and you only have one option to parking, you have to pay $50 for valet, poor service room, there was only one person in the lobby and when I asked for an extra comforter and sheets to sofa bed I had to go down to get them myself because they had no staff to bring them to the room, them I paid an additional $40 for the buffet breakfast and it was not what I expected.
- 4/5
It was for a New Years concert
- 4/5
Only 2 elevators and one was down. Valet / parking is also very tight. Room was great other than the shower requires you to get all the way inside the shower to be able to turn it on because of how the door opens, and then it took about a hundred years for the water to get hot. Other than that it was clean, comfortable and super friendly and attentive staff.

I was in a handicap room. I don't know why. When I first entered I thought, wow! this is big. When I went into the bathroom I was surprised that it was a handicap bathroom. There was no hot water. I was unable to shower and I did not want to sit on the bench.
- 3/5
Make sure breakfast is included or it's $15 per person, per day and it's not that great. Valet parking only, at $50 per day that comes out of the $300 deposit. Great price in Aquarium any time tickets (cheaper than online or at Aquarium).

Love the big glass hour. Love the water, pressure and how hot it got. The price to park your car valet which they did not mention to you until you get there . The view was mostly of the highway. As soon as I checked in, I went to my room. The key did not work. I called The front desk from the phone in the hallway. She said someone would be right up to help me.. Waited over 10 minutes had to call back. He came and opened the door for me. I do like the 12th noon check out time. The Valet gets very busy. We had to wait about 15 minutes at check out because there was so many people that were needing their cars.

Unfortunately i had come on a day when there was a family reunion going on so there were no cribs or pack n plays available. The breakfast was a little later getting set up but we waited before we hit the road. Other then that our stay was very good and i look forward to returning.
