    This is a very nice hotel in Midtown Atlanta. The Room, breakfast and location are all good. There are a couple of things that you should know. There is a $50 mandatory extra valet parking fee that was not disclosed until after the non refundable reservation on Expedia was made. Also the lobby is on the top, ie 20th floor and you have to have a room key to opérate the elevator so these were a bit inconvenient in unloading a vehicle.

    The staff especially both the female managers were rude and not helpful at all. I needed tissue for the bathroom and was only provided 1 roll . There a list of all bad things but for the sake of space I will just say that I will never stay at this location. The rooftop was beautiful and that was the only great part.

    I've stayed here several times over the last two years and it always about the same. Valet staff are always very friendly and helpful, hotel is clean and well organized.the roof top balcony/bar is pretty adequate for the price point of this hotel, unless it rains then the outdoor part is closed. My only real complaint this trip was the breakfast (yes, I know...it's "free", but the quality of the food goes downhill every stay. The eggs were soggy and more water than solid, the sausage links were burned a couple hundred degrees past well done and the potatoes were good one day and bland the next. Stick with a bagel, banana or the waffle station to be safe. On the plus side, the coffee is HOT and STRONG. I do wish the gym opened earlier than 6 am, poor design to place the gym over guest rooms therefore hindering earlier opening for those of us who rise and exercise early. Overall, I'd still stay here again, but there are a few other hotels in the same section that I may check out instead.

    Concierge was not 24x7. Despite calling beforehand and requesting a late check-in, since my flight was delayed, there was nobody at the counter to let me inside. At 2 am, I was waiting outside the hotel to be let inside which was extremely unsafe. I tried calling the hotel reception but nobody was answering. I had even booked my uber to go back to the airport since I was left stranded despite having made the reservation and intimating them in advance. Finally, the security guard let me inside since the manager on duty was sleeping. No apologies from the manager at all. Poor customer experience.

    It was a very nice hotel in a very good and convenient area. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only problem I had was the first night I was there some students were hanging in the hallway when I went to go get ice. They weren't making a lot of noise but when I pay money, I don't want to come out of my room to a bunch of teenagers. Otherwise, everything was great.

    Very clean rooms. Didn’t like the fact they allow guest’s dogs in the indoor breakfast dining area. Lobby is on 20th floor, which, was a first. Great view from 20th floor patio. It’s the city, so expect to hear a lot of traffic and sirens on the weekend, even on higher level floors. Great location, close to Marta station.

    I really like the safety protocols they have in place. You have to have a card key to access the elevator as well as all the floors. Having the lobby at the top of the hotel was really cool. We were on the 8th floor and had an amazing view of the city. It was so pretty. Room was clean, fluffy towels, comfy bed.

    We've stayed at a number of Hampton Inns, and I would rate this one at or near the top of the list. The rooftop bar is fabulous. The breakfast bar met expectations with everything fresh and well-stocked. Okay, we did go to Foxtail Coffee next door for some espresso. The midtown location is perfect - right next door to the MARTA Arts Center Station. We walked to Piedmont Park and the Botanical Gardens.

    The desk clerk helped us use our phone for airline reservations. The valet programmed our gps for the hospital visit. The bar was easy to get to and we enjoyed nachos and sodas as supper for both nights with a great view. Our trip would have been impossible without your help. Thank you and your friendly staff.

    The hotel is very clean and the rooms are a great size. The lobby was on the top floor of the hotel so you are advised to take your luggage in when you go check in so that you can just stop by your room on the way down. You also have to scan your room key to get the elevator to move so that is a great safety feature. The parking at this hotel is AWFUL. You either pay $50 a night for valet parking or they tell you to go up the road to use a parking garage that charges $20 a night. The parking garage locks making it difficult to enter or leave if its late evening or early morning. I even requested to use designated handicap parking spots that were in front of the hotel and was told I was not permitted to use them even though I have a handicap placard because they were used by valet. The whole experience with the parking confirmed that I will not return to this Hampton Inn.

Our problems, having two rollators, is space. The room was very nice, but small, especially for seating space...one small rolling chair suitable for makeup/hair work. Beds were excellent - two queens, plenty of covers, pillows, but a little two high for us. And difficult to use for seating.

    Excellent considering what is available in this area. If you are here for Cheersport, beware that it took us over an hour to get to the convention center at one point due to traffic. Parking is very expensive and so is everything for sale in the hotel - which is probably the same as everywhere else. Don't forget to stop on your way in for room snacks to save almost 90%. =D The rooftop lobby bar / breakfast area is really beautiful with great views and a fire pit outside. Room was clean, "city view" room was all that was left for us, but in case you are debating paying for that, I would not.

    The temperature of common areas was WARM, uncomfortably so. The room was clean. Entry door from outside after 10 was quick to lock back. We had difficulty trying to get in that door so we had to use automatic door entry. Another set of ppl had same issue.

    Only negative was that asked for 1/2 late checkout 11:30am and was told only option is to pay 1/2 price for a room and then have room till 2pm. This was a Sunday morning and not sure how busy midtown is on Sunday nights? The extra courtesy would have helped out a lot. Sad to have at happen after an amazing stay all weekend.

    The stay was great. The booking and check in was terrible. I booked a wrong date for the stay. Hotels charged me $166 even though I noticed my mistake and changed the booking immediately, hotels still charged me for the mistake. On top of that when I checked in, the hotel couldnt find my new booking. Customer support through Hotels.com was non-existent at the time. I understand mistakes can be made but charging me $166 for a room I didnt stay in is ridiculous, especially to a loyal customer of Hotels.com. i have one more scheduled booking with Hotels.com and after that I will take my business elswhere. Im obviously not a valued customer and will not lose anymore money to this company. Ill find a company that can appreciate a loyal customer. Thanks

    The hotel was very clean and exactly what I expected.     I requested to be moved to another room, which they did and then charged me an additional stay....I;m fighting the charge of course. Parking is $45 a day for valet. If you don't valet then you can park next door at a pay lot that does not allow any in and out. So they have you hostage as far as parking and paying the $45 per night. Get to breakfast early or else you'll come down to a messy kitchen with warmers whose lids cannot stand up on their own; someone has to hold them up for you to get some food. Crazy!!! Never again!!! I thought mid-town would be nice...no street parking.

    I can’t really comment about the property. We arrived after an early evening flight from Seattle, drove to Midtown, only to hear that the hotel had oversold our room. I had only heard about airlines overselling but never have experienced it with hotels. It was Labor Day weekend, and we didn't get notified until we showed up at the front desk. The staff was apologetic--it's not their fault, it's Hampton's policy--so we weren't rude. They transferred us to a hotel in Dunwoody, kind of farther than we expected to be. But the hotel was nice (a Marriott property), new (8 months old), and it was comped due to the oversell of our original room. We had the choice to stay in the new property the next night or move back to Midtown. We stayed at the new hotel. It was cheaper than the original hotel, so overall it saved us money.

    The staff at the reception told us due to "technical difficulties" we are over booked. REALLY! After back and forth they agreed to send us to a Hotel 10 miles from the original location in a part of city we did not even considered to stay and that too the room which was booked for us there did not had the amenities such as 2 separate beds that we originally requested. So now we had to figure out how to accommodate everyone on a single barely king size bed :(

    The only disappointment we experienced is that there was no discount for parking or hotel room for folks that were visiting a patient at the Shepherd Center clinic. We were visiting our grandson who suffered a traumatic brain injury. Other hotels in the area offer both discounts and we will use those the next time we visit.

If I were to list negatives it would be toilet paper is low quality and the barn doors on bathroom doors means anyone else in the room has the potential to see you. By the time I walked the bottom floor of the parking garage and realized that I needed to have exited leve 7 (none of that was explained) As i drug my bags back to the hotel, I was a sweaty mess. It was very unpleasant. With a little clarity in the direction given by the valet, one would know what to expect when parking in the adjacent garage. By the tine I checked in I was a bit frustrated. Other than that It was fine

    My kids loved that they got to stay in a high rise building! The 16th floor! Wow! We also loved the ice and water machine to fill up our water bottles for the day. On the downside, parking was hard-ish and we payed $20 each night to park in the parking garage next door. The hallways were not air conditioned.

    I never got an opportunity to stay at this property. Upon arrival, I was advised that the hotel had oversold, and there were no rooms available. Moving forward, please make sure that your systems are communicative across-the-board to ensure that availability is showing in real time. Thankfully, the front desk representatives were empathetic with the situation, this could have been combative if it were anyone else.

    Love the property. Very clean. Love bar on the top roof. Staff in the morning and on 2nd shift was real nice the guy on the 3rd shift after they close the bar was real dam rude to my wife really didn’t like that. And an other thing that didn’t like that check out was supposed to be at 11am. And the cleaning lady knocking my door at 10:15am. Telling me it was checkout time. Told her that we had until 11am to be out the room and she walked away. Besides that everything else was great the lady at the bar was great real nice. And the guy on 2nd shift !

    I’ve stayed at this property before, very convenient location wise. I love not having to fight for parking as they have valet. The valet team is amazing and always kind and helpful. This hotel is worth the price. My only ick was breakfast options, but that’s minor.

    Coming into ATL I had an early flight so I went to the hotel to drop my bag off so I could venture around town. The front desk lady said my room was ready. This was 9:30am! I was able to grab breakfast and go to my room to relax.

    This hotel is so amazing all around! My husband and I visited San Antonio for his birthday. I give this place a 10/10 all around. The customer service was excellent from the valet, check in, bars, and restaurant. The food and drinks were good. We will definitely be back!

    We totally enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta Midtown. The valet parking was very convenient. The room was nice, could have been a little more spacious but was adequate and clean. The breakfast was pretty basic, but got the job done. And the location was convenient to the activities we were doing in the downtown and Midtown area.

    Easy check-in process. We actually got there early to drop off our luggage, thinking our room wasn’t ready yet since it was only 12pm, but to our surprise it was and we were able to check in. The hotel was quiet, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was good. We would book this hotel again.

    A quick one night stay. Went to check in and there was a private event going on in the bar/dining area with a DJ. I was forced to go somewhere else to get dinner and being in a business district it has very limited options for food after 5 pm.
