The staff was very nice but other than that there isn’t much to appreciate. After the SkillsUSA group left they stopped refilling the water just outside of the elevator. When you exit the elevator to go to your room the air freshener is over powering. It sprays such a heavy mist that it looks smokey. I noticed there wasn’t 1 camera which was a little concerning. Our room wasn’t refreshed (maybe that’s not a thing anymore) and when I asked the attendant for towels there was a communication barrier. I pointed to the cart to show her what I needed. All she could say was “no more.” Her cart was not stocked at 10:30 am. When we initially entered our room the air was felt great but hours later it stopped working properly. I wasn’t the only 1 as I would see people getting on the elevator dripping in sweat and telling me how hot their room was. The floor between the bathroom and the closet was damp. I assumed they had to spot clean before we checked in, I was wrong. There was a continuous leak. The floor remained wet the entire time we were there. The counter where the sink is was poorly maintained. Looked like it was breaking down from heavy water damage. There aren’t enough outlets that you can safely reach. The alarm clock was broken so it was stuck on going off at 6am. The person responsible for maintaining the facility needs to do a serious walk through. It’s unsafe to have out of service equipment without any warning signs posted.

The room was insanely hot. We literally never covered up. We laid on top of the covers. I called guest services twice to inquire on a fan and was put on hold. Never spoke with anyone. The fire alarm went off at 1130 our first night here, only on a few floors, the communication from staff was complete silence. There was one security guard we passed on our way down the stairs who said he was trying to figure it out. We went out a side door and waited for 10 minutes. No one ever came to tell us anything, so we walked around the entire building in the rain in our pajamas to the front and that same security guard was standing there and we asked if we could come in and he said yes it was a false alarm. If we hadnt walked around, we'd still be standing in the parking lot behind the building. the morning of check out, the fire alarm went off twice between 830 and 9, only to have them come over the speaker after you were woken up in an emergency way and get to the door to announce it was a false alarm, TWICE in 30 minutes time. The rooms have no microwave, and a tiny cube shaped fridge, no freezer and the bathroom so small you cant even get dressed without bumping the wall or door. Also, bathroom door slides, not even a real door for privacy. The light in our foyer flickered so much we kept it off. Itwas perfect for what we came for and the pool area, although we didn't use it, was very pretty and nice. Concierge staff was nice and helpful.

Well, I enjoyed staying at the Cortland grand Hotel. I will say that they did not disclose the fact that there is a what they call destination fee that they charge you $30 a night within your incidental so they charge you $100 for the incidental and it’s $30 a night for the destination fee so they still end up only giving you $10 back of that. Also it was an advertised that there was only Valley parking. The valet parking is $60 a night unless you wanna park your car on the street or in a public lot overnight so why I did enjoy the stay. The staff was very friendly. My room was very clean the the I’m telling of the valet and destination fee that they had was a little bit offputting.

Breakfast was great-loved the dine in setup. Beds were comfy and my room (Suite) was spacious as well. I did not like the given options for parking (valet, and or self parking in garage) that we had to pay for Due to the rate of the stay with additional taxes and fees being at a higher cost, I would have expected valet at a more reduced rate, free self parking or at least the parking rate to be more reasonable. The only exception for the self parking was that there was a nearby parking garage (across the street) from Hotel.

You can’t park at the hotel unless you pay for overnight parking that was almost half as much as the cost of the room. I found this out and didn’t even check in. Told them to cancel the reservation. What kind of hotel doesn’t let the people staying at it park without having to pay a fee?

Over all the hotel is very beautiful and clean . The staff are very kind and knowledgeable. But our room smelt like the rug was damp ( it was) . We paid for breakfast it was very good but it was like we were being watched. My son ( autistic ) went up for more and was told that he had to much. Idk why its buffet. He was still hungry. Room didnt even have a smart tv and beds were uncomfortable. Leak in the bathroom sink kept floor soaked. Floor next to window stayed damp so, may have been another leak. Room didn't even have a microwave. Room service never brought any more towels to the room after 3 days. Main desk didn't answer 3/4 calls I made to them. When swimming almost had to fight for towels because they were out and when more were brought those were gone immediately afterwards. Police/security in full attire walking around the pool consistently. Extremely popular night club in between hotel and the hotels parking garage. Valet parking costing $60 for overnight parking is absurd when the parking garage for the hotel cost $25 for overnight parking. Pool are has a leaking roof so if it raining outside then be prepared to get wet even if you do not intend on getting in the pool and your belonging will be getting we as well. ABSOLUTELY WILL NEVER BE BOOKING AGAIN!

The breakfast was $21 but a gratuity was added and tax. The breakfast was what you would get at a budget hotel, and there they are usually included. Not worth $21 dollars. Our room was not cleaned during our stay. I had to call for clean towels and body wash as the bottle was empty. The only option was valet parking which was annoying as there seemed to be a large parking structure attached to the hotel. The hotel was overpriced for what we got. I appreciated the $10 voucher but I would have preferred to have breakfast included and my room cleaned.

Courtland Grand provided a $10 food/ beverage card that came in handy. The only thing was the parking so we parked across the street for $15 instead of $25-$50 per night. The indoor heated pool and gym was a Plus. Other than that I Will book here again next time it will be just me & my husband!

The room was great, bed was super comfy! My main complaints: Our tub's drain didn't seal so baths were a no go. The pool ended up being closed the entire time we were there aside from the first night when we had an hour and a half before closing. Maintenance has to happen, I get it, it's just disappointing when we chose this hotel specifically for the pool. Oh well! The bathroom door also wasn't really a door. It was a barn door style with a fan that didn't work. We both have gut issues so this wasn't exactly optimal. Not the worst hotel bathroom experience I've had, though lol. On the bright side, the bed was super comfy, the pillows were great, the curtains really blocked the sun, and the staff was wonderful to work with!

Friendly guy at the bar of the interior restaurant their "policy" of trying to mandate a special fee of $27 per day for incidentals you don't ask for. Since I objected I didn't pay it but they attempt to withhold it from the $100 blocked money for incidentals. They also forgot to give me the breakfast voucher even though my booking included breakfast. The immediate environment is sad, but downtown is very close.

The location was great, staff was awesome!! The non working elevators. Having to walk all the way around the floor to the higher numbered rooms with no back elevators. The beds were like laying on springs!!! You could hear them creek. Unnecessary hidden fees !!

Staff was rude. we booked this hotel for our employees and while we typically fill out a card authorization form in advance, to cover their incidentals, this hotel did not accommodate. One manager said we had to be there in person with the physical card. When the card owner went, he was turned away stating he had to be there with the guests, despite the manager's approval. he returned at midnight when the guests' flights arrived and their system was down. they were not allowed in the room the next day due to a card not being on file despite our many attempts. finally the hotel staff offered to send us a card authorization form, which was denied to us from the start. Not one person was consistent in their so-called policy.

Felt safe & pool area was great & they do a lot to keep it cleaned. Restaurant inside was HORRIBLE! Not enough staff so if you wanted to grab a quick drink its nearly impossible, the bartenders couldn’t even make a simple margarita!!! Valet was terrible, pay $60 a night but have to wait almost an hour to receive your vehicle & also had to wait in line for 20 mins just for someone to arrive at the valet window to even take your ticket slip.

I did not have the most pleasurable experience at the Courtland Grand Hotel. 1. The hand soap that was by the sink was opened and used. 2. There was no cord for the telephone. 3. Staff was good. Hotel looks clean but tired in some areas. But overall, i think it was clean. Breakfast was good and includes lots of things. Location is relatively good but in a less crowded area of downtown. Got stuck out of the room for 20 minutes until service changed a door battery. The employees at the breakfast area never received the indication that i had free breakfast with genius level 2 but they never complained after showing them my reservation and status. But they asked me 3 times and even came with a receipt to my table once. Not sure how they inform of my booking inclusions. They charge you $25 per night stay and then give you a $10 coupon to use on the Starbucks inside the hotel. The voucher is not good for alcohol, and they charge you airport prices for anything. We had to wait 2 days to get our vouchers as they were printing them apparently. Location is relatively good but you need to walk a hill up and down to get to the millennium park etc. Our room was also next to an area that employees used constantly at 7am.

I was under the impression that the hotel had been renovated. Instead we found bubbled and peeling wallpaper in our room. My sheets had visible stains and there was some sort of white paper residue all along the tub with visible mildew in grout/caulk. It appears the bathroom fan in our room did not work. Unsure if this is very specific to our room or hotel wide. Additionally, we chose a room on the second floor. It was difficult to sleep in to 8 am due to excessive noise of suitcases and large groups walking past even with earplugs and white noise. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I will say the beds and pillows were comfortable. The view of the pool was lovely.

The lobby area is nice, and the swimming pool is pleasant. The hotel surroundings are good. Located in downtown Atlanta helped a lot since I was going to a game at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Overall, it worked for me since I was staying one night, but I would not consider it for multiple nights. The room was old, it felt dirty, and the AC was not working properly. Again, I only stayed for one night, so it was acceptable. Actually, I was only in the room for a few hours, but did not like it

I was very disappointed to see messages and learning about being charged for valet that I knew nothing about prior to the booking and did not use the day before check in to the Expedia account. I was not told on the property that I would be charged for valet. The workers made me go out of the circle when I said I did not know we had to pay and guided me across the street to the public (janky) lot. I had to cross the street with hands full of luggage and children! This is unacceptable. We did not have covers for the extra bed, only one small bar of soap in one bathroom, no Kleenex, and one tiny trash can in the front room! Lobby was in very good condition but the room seemed dated with a horrible view of the disgusting rooftop. First and last time!

I mention never ever answered the phone. If you are paying cash for the food and snacks there make sure you have the exact amount because they give you no change. When I say change, I don’t mean coins I mean dollars. Friend of mine only had a $20 bill wanted a Twix for $3.55 and she told her that she would not give her any change. It was extremely loud the whole time couldn’t sleep because of all of the noise. The upside the bed and the pillows were comfortable.

While giving this hotel a rating of two star it has nothing to do with the property not being maintained or the hotel not being nice because it was. I mainly gave it 2 stars because I was blindsided from beginning to the end with fees that was hidden or not to my knowledge. The first thing I thought was very ridiculous. It had no parking area for customers that wanted to park their own vehicle. They strictly had valet which overnight parking, which if I'm getting a room I'm most likely going to be parked there. It was $60 for overnight

AC problems throughout the week in the guest rooms with our group; issues at the restaurant (except for Natasha, who is Great). On my first night, a Monday, I waited at the restaurants bar for a basic Burger/Fries for an exact hour before leaving without ever receiving the food--excuse given to me was 'lack of staffing'. I noticed other tables ahead of me also hadn't been served. We returned to the restaurant the remaining days to see if they could redeem, and other than Natasha, the restaurant needs coordination. @ $24++ for a Burger, $48++ for a mediocre steak, the value is not there; Lower your rates all around if you are not going to staff the joint.

The room was super out dated, smelled like straight smoke. The ac didn’t work and only blew out hot air and when I called the front desk they said they weren’t able to switch my room. Half the outlets in the room didn’t work, not a relaxing night like we were trying to have unfortunately. I will not be rebooking here ever.

Bed was smelling like used, cockroaches in the room(attached images on google review), bad smell in the washroom looks like a plumbing leak, says renovated to sell the rooms but not at all renovated images attached. There is no AC water chill cooling system and heat doesnt work in december and if you call to fix it takes hours to fix and if you have heat on cooling does not work, if cooling is fixed then heat wont work. Hotel is probably ok for one night quick sleep and go but from my experience with family two nights $340 not worth at all. I will never come back and will not recommend anyone. Btw they say ev charging is available but until you go there you wouldnt know that it costs $55 pernight for parking on premise for every car.

This was one of my worst experiences with this hotel earlier this year I attended an event there and they were under construction. They said by the time this event took place that all construction would be done. The rooms were clean. However, the heating and air system was not operational. I had to keep calling to the front desk when I needed the heat to be turned down or when I needed The room to be cooled off while the staff was kind and courteous each time they came on two occasions after calling the front desk they had no one come up to the room to address the heating system problem. Therefore we had to stay under our covers at all time in lieu of having the opportunity to adjust our cooling system. This is the second time that I’ve been disappointed with this hotel that is now I’ve been taking over by this new administration, so I was very disappointed in that aspect but as far as the staff goes wonderful customer service from them always courteous and helpful. I do not believe I will be returning back to this hotel on these conditions

When I checked into my first room, the sheets were dirty. The bathroom had hair over the toilet and the back of the toilet had filth. I went downstairs to exchange rooms, which there was no issues there, but it was the second room that I received as to where I had the issues that would never have me returning into this hotel again. This morning I woke to multiple bites all over my body, from my now swollen lip all the way down to more private areas from BED BUGS. The day manager seemed very nonchalant upon me revealing this situation and seeing my swollen body parts. Thankfully I had only booked one day. Their definition of compensation for the “ inconvenience” (that I will have to endure for the next week) was to simply refund the room and destination fee but was told I had to cover my own $41.57 in food/bar charges. As well as not be able to cover the $55 in valet fees because per the manager “we already check you out your room” (because I felt safer sitting in the lobby instead of moving to another possible pest infected room and as stated earlier was already checking out for the day as is) while the security team lead (not the manager) volunteered to put my cloths in the dryer for any possible infestation. This experience really put a damper on any future trips for a while because all this scratching and itching from these bites is traumatic.

The property offers a plentiful breakfast buffet in the morning, a lively evening bar and restaurant, and a mini‑market with a coffee bar that stays open late. For added convenience, another market on the ground floor provides snacks and essentials if you’ve forgotten something while packing. The pool is a highlight, beautifully enclosed by lush greenery in a New Orleans–style setting. Lower‑level rooms feature balconies overlooking the pool, perfect for relaxing with a drink or simply enjoying the view. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff—consistently friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. Their hospitality made me feel completely at ease. I’ll definitely be returning.

I had to pay $27 for a visitor fee even though I am a Georgia state resident. I asked about food in the area and the concierge had no recommendations and was not even knowledgeable about where to go outside of the hotel. However, a few things made the stay less comfortable than I would have liked. The bathroom was extremely small and poorly lit, which made getting ready more challenging than it should be. The bed was decent, but the room lacked storage space — with two people, we struggled to find enough room for clothes and personal items. Not a bad place to stay for a quick trip, but I think there’s some opportunity for upgrades that would make the experience feel much more comfortable.

They didn’t have a king size bed that I reserved so they “upgraded” me to a suite. I was in suite 201 which is the ground floor of this hotel. On one side of the room was a hallway with noisy people traversing up and down into the early morning hours. The other side was the pool. Luckily only a handful of folks used it. While the rooms were large, they weren’t nice. Bedroom had 1 full size bed, not the promised queen. No dressers or night stands in the bedroom at all. No lights by the bed. No TV in the bedroom. The living room area had a TV. It was unplugged and disconnected! I managed to find the cable chord to plug it in and get the TV working. To watch TV, they had a couch and two arm chairs squeezed into each other along the wall. If you sat there the rooms heating/cooling unit constantly blowed hard on you. The thermostat setting could be changed but it didn’t actually change the temperature or the speed of the fan. It was basically an on/off switch. The suite had a large walk in closet. This closet had one shelf that ran along all sides and was 5 1/2 feet off the floor. Only about 2 feet of the shelf had a pole for the 6 clothes hangers. A small room outside the bathroom was empty. No table, mirror chairs or lights. I would not recommend this property.

Hotel was evacuated for about an hour and a half with no accommodations or instructions. Not even water. Someone was able to charge over $160 worth of stuff at the bar without presenting any type of room key or ID. Management couldn’t do anything. We had to wait until staff came in a 5pm but had to check out at 11:00 am. No kind of compensation what so ever.

There were rooms available directly across the street but they refused to look as they were insisting we stay outside our desired area at a hotel that was charging 67 dollars per night. They planned to keep the difference as well which is unbelievable. They lied saying there were no hotels available but we walked across and got a room no problem

Also, the booking site said check-out time was 12pm so I planned my schedule accordingly, only to learn after arriving that check-out time is actually 11am. Please also note that when the hotel description mentions guests receiving a $10 food and beverage voucher per day, this comes out of the "destination fee" that guests are obligated to pay. In other words, guests PAY for this $10 food and beverage voucher themselves - and they can only be used on the property. So it's not really a benefit or gift. Overall, staying at the property was okay. I cannot emphasize enough that the staff were responsive and courteous. Though I don't think I'd be staying here again personally.

First room/key they gave me didn't work. Had to go back down and get a different room. Second room was assigned. That room's AC wouldn't change and was freezing the entirety of my stay. Room had no pillows. Picked up the phone to call guest services, and the phone was almost inaudible. I could only faintly make out what guest services was saying, but I made out that they'd send someone up right away with pillows. No one came, so I slept on a rolled-up towel the first night. No lotion in the bathroom - called down the next morning and they said they had none at the front desk, sorry. Later that afternoon on my return, housekeeping had not come so still no pillows or lotion. Went physically down to front desk and asked for both. Lotion was now available at front desk, and then pillows made their way up within an hour. In general, the room was not well-maintained. Sink did not drain. Drawers of the cabinets wouldn't fully shut. Big visible gap under the room door. Staff wasn't very friendly, they were just there.

I am a senior citizen and had to stand in line for almost 2 hours to check in. I was told that I had to deposit $100 for incidentals but would be returned on checkout if everything in the room was in order. When I arrived in the room the bathroom sink was almost clogged because it took the water forever to drain out. I noticed that a metal piece on back of the chair at the desk had a hairline crack and the security lock on the door was broken. I tried calling several times to report but no one answered the phone. I finally went to the front desk the next day and reported it to Laura. She said she made note of it. I finally talked with a lady in housekeeping, but she didn't speak English but did say she would notify her supervisor. I never heard from anyone during my stay. I mentioned it as I was checking out and was told by the manager, "I am so sorry, but it's nothing I can do." Then I was surprised by the destination fee of $27.23 per day. I was never informed of this when I checked in. On a good note, the bed was comfortable.

This place is a scam with all their fees they charge you and never refund. I never got the "complimentary" waters or the "$10 food voucher per day" and was charged $136 for valet parking and fees per day. In an attempt to dispute the charge, they are disputing it in return. If you're staying here, make sure you request your "complimentary" offers as soon as you check in and make sure you show the valet desk a receipt for the pre charge of valet. Other people shouldnt have to deal with this trickery on vacation. Good luck.

The staff was rude, unhelpful and condescending upon check-in. The only positive interaction I had was with the coffee shop workers. The front desk and valet couldn’t be bothered to do their jobs, asking for help or a question was like interrupting their break-time. Upon check in the staff was so rude and was acting like I was inconveniencing them by asking which way my room was / which elevator to go to. As there are multiple ways to go in the hotel, my room number was written with two different combinations on the cards handed to me. I’m sorry but I’ll never stay at a Wyndham hotel again. The room upon entry, one of the beds looked partially unmade, the dresser drawers were open. Why? No clue. There was no soap in the bathroom. The ice machine room was disgusting, there was dirt and dust from who knows how long all over the floor and walls, not somewhere I’d want to dispense ice around. One very key thing that I think a lot of folks should know before going is that they have Valet only parking for $55/night. There is a very easy public parking garage across the street for $25 a night. It's easy to get to the hotel with plenty of spaces available. The check-in process was tedious. I did an e check-in an hour before and it wasn't completed when we got to the front desk but it did not take the woman at the desk long to complete the process. They give you a paper explaining that housekeeping is every 3 days, which is fine for us. The room was dated, but because we were only there to sleep and rest before our concerts, it worked for us. The restaurant on the 3rd floor was good. The gym is small but has enough to get the job done. The convenience to venues is the hotel's selling point. We'd stay here again.

Drove up from FL for a quick weekend trip to the aquarium. Location is absolutely perfect, you can walk to the aquarium or take a cheap uber since its so close. The indoor pool is so pretty but gets crowded and there arent many chairs. Lots of extra fees including 55/day parking and $28/day fee for amenities but overall was worth the price for the location. Only true negative was the wall being so thin, you can hear all the traffic and other guests. There were several parties on our floor that stayed up til 3 am being super loud.

Recently visited this hotel and I would say 3/5 stars . The valet parking was cool but $55/day was a little crazy. Also ,the room AC was great but the heat would never come on so it was always cold . The floor was wet as if there was a leak and the water pressure in the shower could’ve been better . The location however is very convenient to the city . The beds were comfortable but the pillows were horrible . Other than that I think everything was good.

There’s a lot of active renovations happening but the potential is there! This is a decent second or lower cost option if traveling to Atlanta on a budget. Overall check in was smooth and check out was easy. The king size bed room was small but cozy and clean. The mattress was comfortable. The bathroom was also small and I don’t recommend for anyone over 5 ft 5 in as the ceiling is very low. I would stay again if I were in need of a budget friendly option.

The location was great. We were within walking distance to plenty of restaurants and a pharmacy. We were just mere minutes from anything we wanted to do. The down side is the phone in the room didn’t have a cord. The 4 times we call front desk from our cell phones no one ever answered even though we saw them standing listening to the phone ring. Security was rude. The elevators hardly worked we got stuck on them 3 times.

Hotel was old, need more renovations, has a weird smell throughout the hallways and rooms. Within 10-15 minutes being in my room I saw a roach.

There was mold in the bathroom. The door was broken in the bathroom and the tub would not drain. Also we had the AC on but warm air came out until we dropped it to the low 60s. Even then it didn’t actually get cold. When we got there, the receptionist was talking to everybody but us. They were moody and seemed as if we were a bother. When I was checking out, I did express all of these things in the guy was typing, but honestly, it looked like it was just hitting buttons it’s to appease me.
